Mike and Jake moved some furniture items for me yesterday. They were great! Hardworking, quick, respectful, friendly, and awesome. Mike noticed I had some extra boxes and offered to use those instead of his, to cut down on costs for me- greatly appreciated! They covered and protected my furniture pieces so well and had no problems with my husband's huge curved computer monitor. They communicated several times to confirm the date and time of my move, and the online form to list my belongings was easy to use. The moving team arrived a few minutes early and got to work right away, carefully packing up my things and asking plenty of questions about how I wanted items packed. Mike and his team were phenomenal. They showed up promptly, listened attentively as I described the job, and absolutely beasted out my move in 2 hours less than the estimated time. They didn’t complain or tire as they moved my furniture from one 4th floor walkup to another 4th floor walk up. The crew seemed to work really well together, and they were incredibly professional - there was little side talk during the job and everyone had a clear role. And after the moving truck roof broke a small tree branch in front of my house, they carefully removed it and disposed of it (totally not necessary but a really nice touch.) Gentle Giant is the best of the best!

Two experienced movers came on both days, along with a less experienced mover (not in a bad way), and their style of on-the-job training was very constructive. On our recent move with Gentle Giants, we had a very superior crew of movers with Scott, team lead, and Aiden and Chris, who all worked tirelessly on a very hot day in July to navigate lots of furniture and boxes into a very tight unit. The team that came to help my wife and I move were fantastic. 5 people showed up and they were extremely professional. They surveyed the house with my wife and I and fully understood what need to be done. They then set out and packed up our house in an extremely efficient and logical way which then paid dividends when unpacking because everything was in order. These guys busted their butts but also had fun while doing it which made the whole experience terrific. I would recommend Gentle Giant anytime and for anyone. They are 1st rate and 1st class.

We've now used Gentle Giant for two moves and cannot recommend them highly enough. The booking process is professional and thorough, and all costs are highlighted upfront. The movers themselves are excellent - they are all extremely friendly, courteous, and careful. None of our items were damaged in transit (including red wine glasses that I wrapped very poorly!), and we appreciated how they were willing to go the extra mile to make sure every box/item was in exactly the place we wanted it. Both times the teams have been extremely efficient and worked hard to finish the move so that we fell on the lower end of the estimated time budget - no wasted time idling or taking breaks. We tell everyone who is moving to use Gentle Giant - they're the best!

The best experience I could have asked for during a pandemic. The guys were on time and went above and beyond to get us moved quickly and safely. They dealt with the stress and frustrations of a cramped downtown loading dock and elevator with grace. Nothing was broken during the move. An item was left behind on the truck and their office called me to get the mailing address to send it to me. This was my second out-of-state move with Gentle Giant. I highly recommend them.

Frantz came and did the estimate and was able to project within 5 boxes how many we would need to pack our home. They were head and shoulders above the many moving/packing companies we have worked with in the past: they were the most on time (even EARLY!), super-polite, most professional, and THOUGHTFUL movers we have ever worked with! Our special thanks to Dennis Moore who was there on both days (packing day and moving day) and kept track of so many little things to make the move easier on us. The way he made sure things were packed made unpacking and settling in so much easier. Seriously, that has NEVER happened before. On moving day, Riley Chapman and Dennis Moore made sure everything went very smoothly. No damage to either property or to any of our goods. Riley and Dennis, while walking past with boxes, would smile at us and ask how WE were doing. Can you imagine that! Communication with the office was great too, from Elizabeth to Dominic to Amandalyn. They were the most responsive office team of any movers we have worked with. What can I add to all the positive reviews Gentle Giant has received, except to say that they are all true. The booking process with their Moving Consultants could not have been easier, nor could they have been any more accommodating. I had an early morning closing on my house and Carmen was able to get me on the schedule for that afternoon. The movers were of course right on time, and when there was an issue with the 3rd member of the crew, GG arranged for another 2-man crew to join in the move and I was moved in and ready to sleep in my new home in no time at all. So go ahead, take a look at the other moving services out there, but if you want a hassle free, smooth move... look no further.

This was the second time that we used Gentle Giant to move our office space. We were pleased once again for the experience that we received. Both times they moved us in less time that was quoted and saved us money both times. Their staff is very friendly and truly care about the service they are giving you. They make sure your items are protected during the move and make every effort to place your items exactly where you want them. They even do a walk through at the end to make sure you are happy with everything is and to make sure they have moved everything that has been requested. During this move we had Jeffrey Eiland, Casey Dolan and Cory Ruzzo. They were very professional and truly worked their hardest to get everything moved in a timely manner.We were supposed to have 4 men but they finished up a job before us early so they were able to come to use site early. Despite being short one guy they finished the job early and saved the company money. I would recommend Gentle Giant to anyone and would definitely use them again in the future.

All six were ery hardworking men, who put their thoughtful heads together to move efficiently. It was not an easy move, involved working with a crane, removing window frames and lowering heavy antiques, which would not go down the stairs, down three flights safely. Nothing was broken or scratched. Would definitely recommend them. You get an hour's value and they do just charge for the hours, as stated.

I cannot say how pleased I am with these movers. Prior to the move after speaking to other companies, I was about to get some friends together for my 90 yr old grandmothers move. The salesman Peter was a breathe of fresh air and answered all my questions and made me feel at ease hiring his company. He sent me everything in writing, and confirmed the professionalism I received on the phone. On the day of Chris arrived with Mike and Eric and got to work. The guys were in matching uniforms, respectful, friendly, and worked fast, but carefully, wrapping and protecting everything skillfully. There were no damages, and a happy Grandma who hadn't moved in 40 years. They will not be the cheapest, but you get what you pay for, and they are worth every penny.

I needed help unloading a UPack storage unit into a rental truck. Green Giant was very helpful on the phone, and accomodating on schedule. The team they assigned got delayed at the previous job, but a second team was assigned and arrived in the middle of the window time. Great guys, quick and efficient.

My fiancé and I used GG for an in-house move a few hours ago. I'd been apprehensive about the price because they charge by the hour, but the crew was remarkably fast and efficient. They moved a couch and our entire bedroom (Queen bed+mattresses, dresser w/mirror, nightstand) up a winding staircase to our second floor in under a half hour. My fiancé and I were extremely impressed with how professional and knowledgeable they were. We've had a lot of people in and our of our house in the past week (Cox setup, Jordan's deliveries, Raymour&Flannigans deliveries, Merry Maids cleaners, et cetera) and these guys were by far the nicest and most proficient service we've had yet. We'll definitely be working with GG if we ever need moving services again.
