I'm so glad I hired A Star Moving Company. Their price was fair, they communicated well ahead of my move, they showed up on time, and their team HUSTLED to get me moved as quickly as possible. The guys were so careful with my things and I arrived with zero damaged or broken items. My last move was a terrible experience and I was so relieved that these guys were a 180. 10/10 would hire them again!

Shout out to A Star Moving Company for a wonderful experience! I called them on a Sunday and I was scheduled the following day. They arrived promptly on Monday morning, 4 staff--Carlos, Alex, Ezekiel and Alberto. They were machines! They communicated very well amongst themselves and they moved everything quickly and in an organized fashion. Very personable and professional. I would recommend A Star Moving Company to anyone who asks!! Thank you so much!!!

Great company! Moved from Coventry to Voluntown and my crew was crazy fast. The 4 man team did not stop, did not procrastinate and loaded up my 1350sq foot 2 bed town house in 1.5 hours with a ton of stuff. The team was very receptive and respectful. Use this company for quick, efficient and great pricing. I would 1000% recommend this company over all others in RI. If I move again this is the company to have PERIOD

Great experiance hiring A Star for my move. Carlos, Antonio and Alex were truly professional in handling my belongings and even helped me with some last minute packing. Carlos said "That's what we do." Great Job! I would recomend A Star to anyone hiring a moving company.

They did arrive a little late because they got lost or a late start, but once they were there they were fine. They did everything good, bent over backwards to do what they could and get done fast and correct without damaging anything, They did a good job, I thought anyways. The pricing was lower than other companies, maybe a little better, but they stuck to the price. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend them to anyone but you don't always get the same guys all the time. The ones who came were fine, they were pleasant, courteous, they took care of the furniture, protected it, they were fine.

I was moving from RI to FL and needed movers to move my furniture from a second floor apartment and pack it in a Pods container. These guys were awesome! Luis, Bryant, Anthony and Alex were all very professional. It was an unusually very hot and humid day in May, there were lots of stairs being on the second floor and also removing some items from third floor storage and never once did anyone complain or seem annoyed. I had bought moving blankets and they wrapped everything nicely with the blankets and the plastic wrap. Luis is your guy if you are packing a Pod and need to maximize every little inch of the container. He was awesome! He kept rearranging the boxes and furniture as more was brought down to ensure things were packed tightly. I have since unloaded my Pod in FL and there was no damage. Everything arrived intact and the movers in FL who unloaded my Pod kept saying what a good job the guys did packing it. Can't recommend them enough. Luis and Bryant especially, they were clearly the leaders of that team and were just awesome in making sure everything was completed. Highly recommend.

We had scheduled A Star Movers to move between 12:00 pm and 2:00 pm. I got a call saying that the movers were running a little early if they could come and start our move. Luis and Bryant were amazing. They showed up and were really friendly came in and moved everything piece by piece and wrapped and taped everything. My Husband said that he would put the bed together but Luis and Bryant said they were running ahead of schedule and asked if we would like them to do it for us. These Men were so professional and friendly. I really can't say enough about them. These two men were excellent and service. Amazing experience. If you are looking for two great men to move you I would request them.

Luis and his team were incredible. We used them twice. Once to put our things into storage and a second time to take it out and into our new house. They work super efficiently and are masters at their craft. Not a single scrape on our freshly painted walls. They even help out together the furniture again. For the price and quality of work, look no further!

These guys were awesome!! Really hard workers. They never stopped. They took great care of my furniture. Ivan is really attentive and very detailed. Everything ended up exactly where I wanted it to go. And he even took extra special care to carefully label all of the screws from the furniture so we can get it back together again on the other side. Great moving company. I highly recommend these guys.

A star is a top notch company. From when I first contacted them, Mike (the manager) was incredibly accommodating. He got right back to me with a (very reasonable) price & followed up twice before the move checking in to see if we needed anything. The guys who actually moved us were very polite and handled our belongings with care. We will be ising them again as our first move was temporary. Highly recommend

Awesome movers. Completed a move from Boston to central RI in 4 hours. Very professional and very friendly. Would highly recommend to anyone. They had to take off a door and put it back on the hinges to move a couch and completed the process in 90 seconds. It was like watching a nascar pit team go to work.

A Star Movers did an amazing job with our move. Our situation was different than a normal move- a star movers actually moved 3 of my family members all in one, 2 condos and 1 house. They were professional, quick, and very accommodating as we added things last minute. The guys worked for a solid 8 hours and were pleasant, appreciative and so kind. What a great company! I called only a week before I wanted to move and they were able to accommodate my date. They arrived on-time and finished less than there estimated time. The workers were great! Wow all I can say is wow. No job is too big or small for “A Star Moving Company”. I recently took up a job near my fiancé and needed to move my belongings to my new home. I would have never been able to do this on my own. Thankfully for me I didn’t have to. With affordable prices and smiles that go from ear to ear. I would highly recommend A Star Moving. We had Ivan and 2 of his colleagues move our boxes and furniture in a residential move during the pandemic. They wore masks and gloves during it, and did it quickly and correctly. There were so many sets of stairs involved, and I was impressed. It was clear that they cared from calling in the morning about the potential rain showers and giving us advice about carrying shelves for our bookcases ourselves. They knew their stuff and they cared and by the end they felt like friends! Thank you to A Star for helping us move during the pandemic and making it easier during this stressful time!

These guys are AMAZING to say the least! We called to inquire on a move of only a few items - our sofa, love seat, coffee table, and entertainment center. We were in a rush to get movers and they were able to accommodate us on with only a few days notice which was a god send! Ivan, the owner, was so nice and helpful the entire time and was even present during the move to direct his guys and help out (signs of a great leader!) We we’re moving from the third floor of an apartment building with a set of stairs even Cardi’s furniture had a really hard time dealing with and these guys handled it like nothing! As there is a 3 hour minimum on the moving jobs, they actually were encouraging for us to take more of our larger items when they arrived to make the time we had worth our while. In the end, we had all the items above plus a large reclining chair, desk, kitchen island, bookshelf, area rug AND cubby system packed and delivered from East Providence to our Johnston 2nd floor in less than two hours with NO damage to any or our pieces. This is my boyfriend and I’s sixth move and this was easily the most stress free move we’ve ever had. These guys are fast, professional, and very reasonably priced (and even dealt with the rain that came through as we were moving with grace) If you find yourself moving soon - there is no place else to look! A star movers are A+ SUPER star movers if you ask me! Thanks again guys!!

Ivan and his crew were AMAZING!! Not only did they rescue us from a UHAUL DISASTER but they packed out a 2 bedroom apartment with kayaks and toolboxes in 2 hours with room to spare. RECOMMEND 100% ...before anyone else. BTW it was during COVID 2020!
