Wonderful experience hiring Moving Fellows. The movers were very friendly and efficient. Also, their prices are unbeatable! Other moving companies will charge you an arm and a leg. Moving Fellows prices were very reasonable. Highly recommend!

Really couldn’t have had any better movers. Not only did Robert, mover lift the heaviest painting (150 pounds) he did it by himself and. Arrived it out of the basement into the truck one lift- my god- he could lift the dead from the ground. It was something to behold- forgot Moses parting waters- or Jesus walking on water- this guy lifted a heavy sculpted painting, only two men I have ever seen carry. While tall dude was lifting the heavy furniture, little dude Miguel, was lifting spirits. A perfect match I would say. Miguel was happy to help me toss some extra stuff to the curb- he was pretty cool. These guys came in- listen to directions- were fast, and cautious, and then proceeded to drive my belongings an hour and half away- put them in my storage, and then text me photos of a secret hiding place for my key. Seriously- the price is great for what they did. Do yourself a favor- and hire this company.

The guys took great care moving heavy appliances up a narrow stairwell. They got everything upstairs in a short amount to time with no scratches to either the appliances or walls in our new home. They were both personable, professional and courteous. I highly recommend them.

These guys were great! I was kinda half joking with the girl when I was booking my move to please send the hunky movers if possible, and boy did they ever!!! ;-) The two hot dudes that came to move my stuff were extremely professional, courteous and very nice to look at! Even some of my neighbors were like , " Who were those hot men"? I would definitely recommend this company not only for the hunky men but there competitive prices and efficient service. ( The Ginger was my fav :-))

I was needing to relocate only a pickup load of heavy and awkward items 6/10 of a mile from a close buddy's shed to one of my two storage units in Junction City, OR. I was cheerfully scheduled for 2 days out (my first choice). I called to confirm on the day of the move and again was cheerfully greeted, this time by a different person. The movers arrived within the promised 2 hour window. Since the primary move to my storage unit 21 took such a short time and was well within there 2 hour minimum, I asked if they could move some other items from the same storage facility ( from unit 13 to unit 21) so everything would be consolidated. They cheerfully agreed and were on there way back to their office well within the minimum 2 hours. Their dollar estimate (minimum 2 hours from office to office) was honored. They will be my go to movers in the future and I highly recommend them! Rob Smith

I have had two successful moves carried out through PDX Student movers, so naturally was excited to be using Moving Fellows. I want to preface this with saying both the movers that helped with the move were great. Did all they can with the man power they had. My frustration comes from the response of the manager when we found ourselves in a bind. The two movers that came weren't able to assist with one of the dressers due to the sheer weight of the piece. I was connected with their manager who told me I would be responsible for another day (2-3 hour minimum) if they can't get it up my stairs. The movers had a 40 minute drive between Camas and Portland to foresee the issue. Call in additional support, or let their boss know they may have to come back to complete the job. One of the kids was super strong for having the frame of an Ultra Marathon Runner. I called a friend who was able to come over on a moments notice, and the head mover did a great job of providing a time concession to keep me at the minimum hourly rate. Again, I was shocked on the managers ability to problem solve, do what I "feel" was right...as a repeat customer.

The guys did a fantastic job, fast, professional, friendly, not a scratch on any of my stuff. They were more than three hours late, because dispatch was overbooked due to staffing issues (the great resignation, anyone?), but the guys worked late to finish the job. I would definitely use this outfit again for my next move.

I hired two movers and had everything packed and ready to go when they arrived! I moved a two bedroom apartment worth of furniture and belongings, as well as some bikes and music equipment, and the movers got everything done in under two hours (including the drive time from St. John’s to Montavilla)! Would highly recommend and I will definitely use them again.

Your guys were terrific! They achieved the nearly impossible, jockeying a large, very heavy sleeper sofa through a narrow door space that required a hard 90 degree left turn and down a short hall to the den. Door hinges tore up the shrink wrap and furniture blanket but the couch came through without a scratch. They were polite, cheerful, and super heroic strong.

I only giving 3 stars because I liked the guys that were moving my items but they came to a job with no plastic wrap to protect your household goods and where careless sometimes with items there where moving, scratched my wall in a few different places but that’s because they were over worked at their job before my place. I over heard them talking ab being just them two on a 5 bedroom house. I recommend if you use this company wrap up your own sofa or things you want plastic over they will come i’m prepared for a moving job. Once again they where good guys but felt more like you asked your friends to help you move instead of a moving service

Two gentlemen were fantastic help with my move. When speaking to rep prior to the truck arriving, I did ask for a 25ft truck and the movers showed up with a 20ft. The two fellows were unable to fit everything due to this, which led to cramming cars full of unnecessary items that should have been on the truck. This cramming of the moving truck caused damage to an item. For the future, if a customer request a certain size truck it’s probably for a reason. Other then this small mishap, I would definitely return and use their services!!

This company was recommend from a friend and I would recommend them to my other friends after working with them. The woman on the phone who I booked with was kind and guided me through the process and all the questions with a large amount of patience (this was my first time hiring movers). The two man team who come to move us were prompt and hard working! They followed direction very well and took great care of my belongings. Since it was my first time using a moving company, I was cautious, but was reassured that they would take care of my belongings and move in a timely manner. Robert and Nickel were amazing to work with and they both deserve credit and appreciation for not only moving my apartment furniture and boxes to my storage unit, but also organizing the stuff in my storage unit so that the space was best used. Andre was helpful and did a thorough assessment of my move on the phone, and I was able to schedule movers for a time about a week out. Noah and Sebastian arrived early, and quickly assessed the amount of stuff to move and how it might fit into the van. This is my 3rd time using Moving fellow. Every time I have a wonderful experience. Great communication. Arrived ahead of time and make sure to complete the project the way we want. This time I work with Steven and Michael to load 2 apartment into one truck. They were fantastic and fun to work with. They came in, lay out their loading plan and quickly finished the task with enthusiasm. Stuff were neatly packed and stayed in place after 6 hours drive. More importantly, they use 1/2 of the time than the crew from other company that help unload our stuff. I will definitely using them again if they expand the business to WA or I move back to OR.

My guys were great ! They clearly knew what they were doing! They were friendly and positive which made them easy to be around.They were also flexible when I found out the manager of my new apartment couldn't get back as early as expected & they had to prolong the job. They just went for lunch as I suggested. Climbing up a flight of stairs added to the challenge but they handled it well. When I alerted them that a particular box was fragile, one of them said, " I treat all the boxes as fragile since I don't know what's in them!"

The movers were incredible (Steve was one of their names). They were four minutes early, very friendly, and worked fast. They helped decorate the room and accommodated to parking and roommates; those two deserve a raise. With that said, the company itself disappointed me. It was expensive considering their manner in notifying me less than 24 hours prior that they decided to push my move hours later despite us agreeing on a time after I called two months in advance for the sole purpose of accommodating my former and future roommates, and it brought on additional stress/challenges I hadn’t anticipated.

I initially spoke with Leslie who was very kind and courteous over the phone in order to set up a schedule and later we had the pleasure of meeting Morgan and Hirardo who arrived on time to help us move. They were very curteous, professional, capable and kind as well as careful with our belongings. They got everything done under 3 hours which we had initially paid for. 2 thumbs up!

Moving Fellows responded to an urgent call for help in moving rapidly and with a solid commitment they would get us out of our sold home before the deadline on March 15 th. And they did! The first crew sent out were three gentlemen who were incredibly efficient ! I was especially impressed with the Lead crew man for how he supervised while mentoring his crew. The Lead was also attentive and responsive and paid close attention to our moving particulars. The other two crew members were also very fast and efficient in their work as well. I watched as the crew responded well to their lead worker’s guidance as they moved with care my parents 1929 bedroom dresser set and mirror. During the rare moments of calm, I enjoyed chatting with one of the crew who also worked in the mental health and recovery services field. The third man was also very good and kind and his handsome tattoos were a conversation piece. I will recommend Moving Fellows in the future! Tuesday Crew: Moving Fellows sent a two man crew out on the following day, Tuesday, which- like their first crew on Monday— were instrumental in getting the move completed. Like the Moving Fellows first crew, this crew was incredibly hard working. Their organization skills were solid as they worked to fit the volume of remaining boxes and furniture pieces yet to be positioned in the truck. As the afternoon wore into the evening they persevered until it was all done and we made our deadline to turn over the house to the new owner. Phew. We are so grateful for their efforts and the remarkable job done by both Moving Fellows crews to save us from serious consequences of our first crew from an unnamed company who abandoned us on the intended first and only day of our move. I would definitely recommend Moving Fellows in the future. Tuesday One Week Later (3-30-22): Another move for us, aren’t we lucky!! These Moving Fellows were Robert and Michael and both were highly competent and got to work immediately. The moving work schedule as leftover from the moving trips from last week, with need yo remove a full 16 foot truck from our storage units and transport them to our home. Robert as always was comfortable in charge, with Michael bringing true strength to the work. Both were serious but very respectful and responsive. Good job fellows! See one more review for tomorrow then we’re done!! Wednesday (3-31-22): Ok this is really the final one… two man crew— Noah and Nick— and another truck 16 ft to maneuver the steep hill at new storage unit… both men were great and arrived on time— in fact a little early! That was a particular relief as this last trip had to be set up late in day , bumping into the ‘final’ hour to clear out the old storage units. Nick and Noah brought the Moving Fellows work ethic and consistency in professionalism and efficiency to the job! And again, as in all moves with Moving Fellows, they did a fantastic job!! Thank you Nick and Noah and Moving Fellows for your fine service!

Hey These guys did a great job moving my studio apartment. I wanna say I worked with Kylar and Nicholas? They not only were troopers with the 108 degree weather we experienced during my move, but they also maintained positive vibes and put my mind at ease that day. On time, professional, and quick! Some boxes that I marked fragile / do not stack were stacked upon but nothing broke so no hard feelings there. They also tried their best to be gentle with my plant children! I ended up paying more than I wanted to, but this wasn’t their fault. I think originally the agent and I estimated the move time would be less time than it actually was (they gave me a 2 hour time slot and this in hindsight was not enough to begin with) and then there were issues with my freight elevator reservation that set the crew behind a bit, but I will be taking that up with building management since it’s very clearly not on them. Just watch those extra hours for your move because they add up! All and all, would hire again and appreciate those two dudes the most because I know that was a tough day. They saved me from having to the hard work in the heat and that was worth every penny to me. Thanks fellas!

They were friendly, on time and quick. They communicated very well with us on how they operate and pack a truck. They came over prepared and were very helpful with everything. This is the second time I’ve used this company and will use them in the future if they’re needed and I will always recommend them. They made moving as easy and enjoyable as can be. Now that my bill has come in, I’m less than impressed. I asked for movers ONLY. They brought a truck which upped my bill to over a $1000. I only wanted 3 movers for 4 hours. They did take longer than expected so I don’t mind paying for that but I had to pay $132 an hour for 2 movers and a truck when I was quoted $45 an hour for each mover and that was it. I even had my own truck and the confirmation conversation on the phone it was made clear I needed movers ONLY. I’m waiting for a response from them to settle the issue.

Really good folks. So glad I chose them. I needed labor moving from the downstairs portion of my house to the upstairs. I had a very heavy bed frame I didn’t know how to dissemble. This crew showed up and helped troubleshoot. Had all my stuff upstairs in working order in no time at all. The entire team was sincere and responsive. Advice to customers: when making reservations - Be as clear and communicative as possible about what you are moving and declare anything that you think might be over 150 lbs.

The 3 men that came to unload my Pods and move me into my new house were awesome. They were smart, helpful, polite, fun (on a stressful day), and really got down to business. They were moving fast and efficiently. After about an hour their supervisor (Phil?) came on site and started helping them for some unknown reason. With his help all of the largest and heaviest items got set down in front of every single closet and several doorways and hallways. This made it very, very difficult for us to arrange the furniture. We had to move furniture out of the way of the closet so we could put the boxes into the closets then put the furniture where it belonged. This ONLY happened after Phil showed up. At one point he wanted to show me a piece of furniture that needed a small repair. I told him I knew about it but he insisted on moving the table. I asked him to just put the table on its side but he refused and turned it upside down. At that point he noticed the drawer that almost fell out. “Oh, that’s why you wanted it on its side” Phil also felt the need to express his opinion about my new home and not in a favorable sense. I’m not sure what inspired that but it was rude. Everything the first 3 men brought in was done mindfully and with care. The crew finished about 2 hours early which was nice on my wallet but hard on my back because I had to move so much furniture myself. I would rather have paid only for the help of the first 3 guys who probably would have been done in 3 hours but furniture would have been better placed. I’m only taking away 1 star because of Phil. If you use Moving Fellows please ask that Phil not “help.”

I can’t say enough about how helpful my movers - Gene and Trevor - were yesterday! They worked very hard throughout the job and were very persistent, patient, and positive when faced with some nasty moving challenges (think: large couch + nasty curved stairwell and a lot of stairs). They made a stressful activity much more manageable. Moving Fellows has some kinks to work out with the initial scheduling process/usability of online tool, but I recommend them as their people make up for those minor challenges. Moving fellows is the best of the best! I had a sudden need to help my daughter move from one apartment to a storage unit and then three weeks later from the storage unit to a different apartment. Due to illness and injury we were not able to do it ourselves. I called just a few days before we needed to move and they were able to accommodate us. Our movers were so kind and patient with us - I was not prepared well. This was our family’s first big move and I fully admit to not having a clue what we were in for. I had not taken a truly honest inventory of what all we had stored up over the years. I was naive to think 2 movers was doable. The pandemic has demanded so much more of our time as we have been both working from home while keeping our child on track with distance-learning. It should have been obvious to me that I’d even need help packing! The day of our move, I came up short on boxes, the tape ran out, and we hadn’t measured a bed to test it’s ability to pass a door frame. All of these ended up causing massive delays. They didn’t bat an eye... they got to work and eventually came to me to ask/suggest kindly that we get an additional team member. So respectful and patient. They hustled the whole time... I finally left to buy them dinner because the move we believed would take 3 hours turned out to be more like 6. Again, they were incredibly patient. My only suggestion for the company (not a complaint) would be to have a better system in place to assess the size of the move. That could be in the form of an in-person assessment, a live chat, or pictures emailed. And at that time, if a customer is open to it, share suggestions and tips, advice for packing, etc... Find out if the customer is a first-timer. Huge thanks for the awesome work our movers did. I would definitely use them again (and be more prepared, personally!).

I used Moving Fellows to move houses in Portland in June of 2019. We moved a 4 bedroom house. FYI: It took 6 hours with 3 movers with a 30 min transit time between houses. 4 hours to load and just 90 minutes to offload into the house. I was supremely happy with the service that we got. They did all the heavy lifting without complaint and were very careful with handling and packing delicate items. This was my first time using professional movers and I am thrilled with the results. The crew was professional, organized, and checked in. They made lots of helpful suggestions for how to stage the move. I tired a few mobile sites for bids and these guys were by far the easiest to deal with and very organized prior to move day. I will say that they ended up staying late because a previous job took longer. They kept me informed with multiple calls and emails, which allowed me and my wife to keep packing. Would recommend the company add parking or loading dock dimensions to the form so the correct truck can be reserved for each job, as the truck the team had to use was too large for the loading bay. I understand that estimates are just that, estimates, but I believe that a company should be able to more accurately estimate than nearly double the cost. Because my original estimate was so reasonable and the movers were so good, I gave each of the three generous tips. This should have brought my bill to just under $1,000. Turns out I'm paying $1,400. When I contacted the company they were less than helpful or caring and told me to email their lawyers. I'm sure I could have any kind of leverage with their lawyers. I'm not pursuing this matter any further. I'm very disappointed with this financial experience. I hope I don't have the need for movers again, but if I do it definitely will not be Moving Fellows.

Had a good experience with this company. It was helpful to be able to book directly online as many other places I couldn’t get ahold of anyone and I couldn’t get quotes very easily. I booked online and called the next day to confirm, they went over everything with me, said the start time is a rough estimate due to the nature of moving and unpredictability of it. The movers were a few minutes earlier than the start time which was great. They were helpful and had good attitudes. It’s such hard work to move things all day and me being their second job I was impressed with their continuous energy all day. They wanted to bring on another person to help unload and made sure that was ok with me due to the cost, explained things throughout the day, and were helpful.

When I originally called Moving Fellows on 11/05/21, I advised them that my husband and I owned a three bedroom two bathroom home in Springfield OR that we needed to move on 12/03/21 to LaPine OR. They told me that they were confident that they could do the entire move in one day and that the estimated cost was between $750.00 to $850.00. On 12/03/21, two movers arrived with a 16 foot truck and we asked if they had a larger moving truck due to the number of items being moved at which point I was advised by the team lead that he was only certified to drive a 16 foot truck but he was confident that we could move everything in one trip. We started at 10:30 am and by noon it was obvious that we would need two trips. I called the dispatch office and was originally told that I could have Saturday 12/11 as my next moving date but they would still have to charge me again for the labor even though they would discount the 2nd trip by approximately $250.00. I told the dispatch office that I would call them later to confirm how many items we had left. When I was able to reach the dispatch office later that day, the original person I spoke to left for the day and had given the 2nd move date of 12/11 to another client. The 2nd person I spoke to said that he could get another set of movers on Monday 12/06. I agreed to have Moving Fellows move the remaining items which also filled another 16 foot truck on Monday 12/06 at a discounted price. The 2nd move went smoothly and I was able to get all of my items moved the 2nd trip.

There was a lot going on with my move it felt like. I was scheduled for a 12-2pm arrival window, but the crew didn’t arrive until 5pm for various reasons. One person wasn’t being a team player- on his phone, saying he wanted to leave, bickering with the other crew members, and not being very careful with furniture. It slowed down the move and I ended up having banged up/damaged walls and furniture. The two other crew members did their job and I appreciate that, but they had to deal with the troublesome one. Felt like there was some dilly dallying going on though to extend the time.

We chose Moving Fellows for a local move in the greater Portland area. Move was easy to book. Sales/ scheduler was clear and thorough in explaining moving process, financials and COVID-safe procedures. They charge travel time from their facility to pickup location and from delivery location back to their facility, but they calculated and communicated that transport fee up front. Their calculations were spot on with time shown on my digital mapping app. In addition that fee was firm so we knew up front we wouldn't be paying extra if they ran into any traffic issues. The company provided good communication as moving day approached, confirming time and costs and providing useful moving tips including helpful tips for staying on budget. The two-man crew arrived on time on moving day. They worked steadily and were fast and efficient. Carter and Cyrus were friendly, professional and accommodating. They were also respectful and careful with our home and possession. They wore masks and were careful about social distancing. Carter and Cyrus arrived at our new home only moments after I did. They were as fast, efficient, careful and respectful unloading as they were loading. When they were done unloading, they offered to do a walk through and reposition or move to a different room anything we wanted relocated which I thought was very nice of them. Even though we wound up having quite a bit more to move than originally expected when Moving Fellows estimated the move, Carter and Cyrus' efficiency brought our move in very close to the original estimate. Great work! I was extremely happy with the move and price and highly recommend Moving Fellows.

Moving Fellows completed my move under difficult circumstances. My move was scheduled for Monday the 28th, which was during the record heat wave in summer 2021. The move had to be rescheduled because it was unsafe for the crews to be working outside. My move was started the next day and was completed on Thursday. I was disappointed that our move wasn't completed on-time but I was satisfied overall. I would recommend Moving Fellows in the future because the crews were friendly and worked hard. The scheduler also worked to ensure my move was completed asap. I believe under normal circumstances (no extreme heat wave) that my move would have been completed on-time as scheduled.

*Update 11.18.19: Moving Fellows corrected the tip issue and resolved a damage claim we made to our satisfaction. Follow up was good and prompt with the customer service team. Good - Lots of communication the week leading up to our move confirming timing which made me feel great and confident that they were going to show up! One of our movers, Clint, was exceptionally helpful, nice, and accommodating, even offering to take two items that weren't on the inventory list while we were in a waiting period. I appreciated his attitude. Room for improvement - (1) Tip was listed on the check sheet but I didn't select "add to credit card" but was charged it anyway after I provided a large cash tip (I sent in a request to have this refunded so that may be rectified but be aware of that on the sheet). (2) One of the movers told me their policy was that they wouldn't take anything that wasn't listed on the inventory sheet. I understand the policy and need to plan properly but that should be strongly communicated up front that if you don't list it, it won't be removed. I was appreciative that they took a few of the things I asked them to but be wary of this. (3) One of our movers was unpleasant for most of the day and I'll leave it at that! Bottom line, next time I will use another company.

Poor Levi and Noah has no clue what they were in for when they arrived at my apartment! The two men that helped me move were AWESOME! They were extremely professional and did not wast time. They broke down my furntire futher than I could and wapped it up so it would be protected. They exceeded my expections. I would use this company again!

First, I wish I could give more than 5 stars for Moving Fellows. Two days before my move, the company that I had made reservations and paid for contacted to let me know that they weren't going to be available for the date/time we had agreed on. I had taken off work, and made several other arrangements to prepare to move. I called 7 other companies to see if they had availability for a Friday morning move, in two days from my call. I knew that this was a long shot, and they all told me no....except for moving fellows. I called and spoke to a woman who confirmed that they would absolutely be able to do it. I was surprised but so grateful. We went through all of the details, and I immediately received a confirmation email with all of the details. On the day of the move, the movers showed up exactly at the scheduled time. Austin, AJ and Carter were personable and polite. After showing them what needed to be moved, they got to work. They checked in regularly to make confirm some of the items. They completed moving everything out in one hour. They were really hard working and efficient. We got to the new place and they were just as quick and efficient with unloading. They ended up finishing the job in a shorter amount of time than estimated. Moving is a pretty stressful event, and I had some additional stresses added in. Moving Fellows, and specifically those three men made what could have been a challenging time feel like a real win. I could not recommend moving fellows enough.

They arrived on time, wore masks, moved quickly, but were delicate with my belongings and went above and beyond to make my move as smooth as possible. Could not recommend better people! Both were respectful and good but one seemed way more experienced (a couple of items were dropped but no damage, and there’s some room for being new but might need a little more training).

The two guys got there early so we were able to start early. They moved out everything efficiently and then were able to Tetris everything into a small storage unit with room to spare. They did a great job and had great attitudes about the weather (which was going to be 100 that day) and the small space to fit everything into. 2nd time moving with them and they were still solid. Good organization ahead of time planning the schedule, truck size, and # of movers needed. They'll cover most of the furniture with plastic wrap to protect it in transit and charge very little for it. Moving crew were all were friendly to talk with throughout the day.
