They did an awesome job! This was the least stressful move I've ever had, all thanks to Eugene, Javier, and Vlad. They were very organized and efficient and very careful with our belongings. I'm very happy we lucked out to have this crew. The coordinator, Chris, quickly responded to every question we had and his estimate was spot on. 100% recommend Moda Moving.

I really liked using Moda Movers/North American Van Lines. They quickly answer phones and Livi made an accurate quote off some pics I sent. They were flexible with our last minute changes. No issues. Followed up with several calls to me including day before and morning of move. Arrived and delivered within the estimated time frames. Nothing broken. Picked up all the packing materials and left everything tidy. Friendly, masked-up, and hard-working crew of 4 packed, loaded, and two drove and delivered the move from Oregon to Idaho the next day. Boom. Done. No 2-3 week wait for delivery. Vlad and Claudia were the leads and they did a great job. Vlad even assisted a ministry who was there for a short while to remove some items not being shipped. Above and beyond service without being asked. Nice people. Would be the first call I make if needed again. Thanks.

Don, Steve, and Norm did a fantastic job with my move from Portland to central Oregon. They wrapped all of the furniture carefully and made useful recommendations on how to protect my furniture while in storage. The first picture is of the door way and corner protection the placed through my home while they carry everything out. It’s a great idea that previous movers have neglected to do for us!

We hired Moda Moving to move from a 3 bedroom condo. We had tons of boxes, 3 couches, 2 beds with frames and box springs, some art work, and also a storage unit full of more boxes and bins. Our 3-man moving team was Vlad, Justin, and Javi and they were AMAZING! As the team lead, Vlad was very professional and helped explain all the paperwork, the quote, and other things which took about 5 minutes at the start. During that time Justin and Javi were already on moving our stuff. They were all focused on the job and were very efficient. They took special care of our furniture and wrapped it in their own blankets to protect everything during the trip. When we got to our new home, they laid out the red carpet for us (literally) to protect the flooring - something I really appreciated. All-and-all from start to finish, it was only about a 4-hour move! I would highly recommend Moda Moving and I would request Vlad as your team lead.

All four guys worked collectively snd professionally. My priority was to have a very sentimental piano moved to its new home without damage and reassembled. All goals were met perfectly. Scheduling the movers was a quick and relatively painless process, and they were able to accommodate my limited schedule. The movers, Vlad and Javier, showed up right when expected. They were very friendly and professional. They were also very fast, efficient, and careful with my possessions. The loading dock at the destination wasn't available as expected, but Vlad and Javier came up with a plan and worked around it, completing the move much sooner than i would have expected if the dock had been available. I will definitely go back next time i need a moving service

I’m a young single mom and needed help moving, i called multiple different places and found they had good fair prices and went with them. I had a 2 man job, Bryson and Mike helped me. I felt safe and comfortable having them in my homes and helping me move. They were efficient, easy to work with, and nice. If I have to move again and need to hire help I will definitely use this company again and hopefully have them or people like them. Also they overestimated time for my move but then the time was shortened to exactly what i thought it would be. so they did not try and hustle me which is nice.

Moving in with my partner, we had to go to two different locations before making the final move. The two helpers were professional, and quick. I wouldn’t have been able to move in a single day without their help. After starting, it took a little over four hours for a move that would’ve taken me days. We did it first thing in the morning which I thought was after 8 AM, but they came even earlier to start (around 745). There was no problems except my phone was on silent, which meant I didn’t get things going until around 9am. I’m so glad they returned my call and turned around after I didn’t answer the call when they showed up as scheduled. That was my mistake. They didn’t even complain. I also felt bad that they had to park in a two way street but they didn’t seem to mind. It didn’t take long anyway. I’m so thankful there’s a service to do all the physical labor for me and the movers were kind. The whole thing was scheduled for five hours from two different areas to one final apartment, for which the cost was a little over $700 which was fine by me. With all the hard physical labor they have to do, I find that reasonable.

Good moving company!! The pictures tell it all. Miscommunication between sales rep Dan and moving coordinator Chris. Make sure you are on the same page before moving day! Chris said he sent me his 4 best guys - Javier, Jose, Mario, and Rey. These guys were professional, polite, energized, and careful, and hard workers! They didn't stop until the move was complete, which was about 7 to 8 hours. The thorough wrapping of furniture, door bumpers, and even a long rubber mat in both walkways was the extra touches that impressed us. Highly recommend without a doubt. I am very glad we went with MODA Moving!! Thank you all!! Update It was discovered one of our dinning chairs ultimately did get broken during the move.

I used Moda moving because my Parents used them a few years ago and were very pleased with their efficiency, as was I. Dan was available to answer any question I had about my moving 3 hours away and this was over the course of several months as we were building a new home. When the work crew arrived I was impressed with their organization skills in working together as a team. Norman, Don and Jesse also were very careful to be respectful of my new home by not being in a big hurry and watching corners with my heavy pieces. And they were very patient with me even when I couldn't find "just the right place" for a couple of my heavier items. I would definitely recommend them to friends and family.

I normally don’t write reviews for stuff but Vlad and Javier went so above and beyond my expectations that I recommended them to my sister who is also moving in a few weeks. They made sure my things were safely handled and let me know what their plan with everything was to keep me on the loop with the move. I just finished unpacking all of my boxes and everything was in excellent condition. I loved that I didn’t have to worry about anything for this move because they took care of everything! Dan was spot on with his quote for our 2,200 sq, ft, home...actually about $100 less. We decided to hire Moda as they were open to moving both our indoor and outdoor plants. As a disabled Veteran, I always make finding a Veteran owned company a priority. Moda Moving fit that bill and delivered more. The crew was responsive, punctual, professional and courteous. As the move unfolded there were a couple issues that came up and they were prompt in bringing them to my attention so we could make decisions with both cost and service in mind. The crew was wonderful a a delight to work with. The total move ended up being more than the estimate but not without ongoing communication between myself and the crew. I don’t plan on moving again anytime soon but if I did, I would consider Moda first.

I am writing to commend Moda Moving for a job well done for moving us in April 2022. Due to a major problem with another moving company, I asked Moda Moving to jump in literally several days before the move had to occur. They had to do the entire job of moving us. Neither my wife or I could participate in the moving process as I am a disabled Viet Nam veteran affected by Agent Orange and my wife has had back surgery and quite often suffers back pain requiring her to wear a back brace with frequent visits to the chiropractor. To add to that, she had recently sustained back and neck injury due to being mugged and assaulted in a grocery store parking lot in the southeast of Portland, OR. So, neither of us were able to contribute much to the moving process. Moda had to do it all. A month previous to our move, Zane, Moda’s moving estimator had performed a professional and thorough assessment of our moving requirements. From our observation, he is a capable fellow who did a fine job scoping out the extent of the job. He is a congenial, low-key fellow who takes his job seriously and seems to do it very well. Chris, the operations manager who we never met, orchestrated things behind the scene and deftly handled a last-minute scheduling problem (us!) that allowed us to squeeze into Moda’s scheduled customers. Thank you very much Chris! Tuesday morning, Brandon the team leader descended on us with a swarm of guys to pack our household and loaded it onto two trucks. The team packed our entire 3-bedroom house, loaded it on two trucks, hauled it overnight about 340 miles and unloaded it into our new home the next day. The whole move was completed in a span of about 36 hours. There was no messing around. Add to that the entire team was polite, professional and personable. You really cannot beat that. Admittedly we had a couple of small packing mishaps along the way, but nothing that constituted a problem. Overall, Moda Moving turned a potential catastrophe (due to our previous disastrous experience with a moving company that backed out of our move at the last minute – major emotional stress!) into a rousing success. We are very pleased with Moda Moving and highly recommend them to everyone and anyone.

This team is very professional and responsive. I used this company for a move last month and they did a great job, reliable and on time. I needed another move, due to the company being booked out to far I mistakenly went with another company (Master Movers— who canceled an hour before the move was suppose to take place). — I called Moda Moving explained the situation and Chris Hill helped me out by getting me scheduled for the next opening. I had a local move in Salem and chose Moda because of their rates and willingness to disassemble my kid's huge bedframe! We didn't get started until rather late, but I'm not removing a star because that's just how life works and they were in contact with me about the delay. The movers were great: friendly, organized, worked very hard & very consistently and were very respectful of my stuff and the property. As good an experience as moving can be!

I feel bad giving only 3 Stars, 3.5 seems more suitable. My move was from a 6th floor apt to a 3rd floor apt. I'll start first with what went well. The hourly rate and the quote for a 2 man crew was very reasonable. There end up being a 3rd guy which of course helped with getting the job done in a timely fashion. I believe Vlad and Javier were the original 2 and Justin was the 3rd. I was told he was the"free" guy because they had a bigger job afterwards. Backing up to the days prior to my move I will say Lenin was especially helpful and responded almost immediately whenever I emailed with a concern or change. Now, moving day! I received the call when they were on their way and they arrived shortly after. I'd informed Moda at least 3 times prior I needed my bed and sofa disassembled, moved then re-essembled. Still, Vlad who told me he was the lead had to go back to the truck for tools. Vlad informed me that the screws in my bed frame were stripped and this took longer than normal to get apart and then back together. I appreciate Vlad's professionalism and the extra work he put in to get my bed back together. My only issue with Vlad is I wish he had showered prior to showing up. Javier, I believe was the darker complextion gentlemen. He pretty much came right in and got to work. The only issue I had with him was him leaving a can of unfinished drink on the kitchen counter instead of tossing it in the trash can. And finally, the free guy, I believe his name is Justin. Leave this guy at home, please?! 10 minutes after they arrived he asked to use the restroom. For me, I don't allow strangers to use my restroom at all but, since I was moving out of the apartment I let him use the restroom thinking he'd be in and out. This guy stayed in the restroom at least 10 to 15 minutes. That was upsetting, He should've gone to a public restroom for that. Then after everything was done and we were in the new apartment Justin says he needed to wash his hands. I asked him if he'd go back to the old apt (the door was still unlocked) because there was no soap in the bathroom. He totally ignored me, washed his hands without using any soap and then Dried His Hands On My Decorative Towels That Were Hanging Neatly On The Wall. Anyone with common sense would've known those weren't hanging there for hand drying. The towel can be washed but my experience and first impression with Moda is with mixed feelings. While I'd probably recommend this company to those looking for a nice price and hard workers, I'll probably never use them again. Thanks a bunch anyhow guys. BTW I found a lose screw under my mattress, not sure where it goes. I will take Vlad's advice and replace those screws.

My Father in law, Charles O’Rourke, was just packed out by Moda. Our crew was team lead Vlad, drivers John and Don and they had Jeremy, Brayden and Javier as helpers. The move was difficult because we share a household and all items had to be split. It is also a three story house. They were very polite and efficient and worked to help my Father in law who was not 100% prepared. They listened to us and were careful not to mix up items, even if they were on the same table. The packing went longer do to the unique situation but they remained helpful and polite during the whole process. Vlad was a very good lead and his crew worked well even when he was off doing the paperwork needed in a move. I would use Moda for my own move in the future.

We decided to use movers because we needed to get out of our apartment urgently. Our roommate was becoming unpredictable and threatening our animals, and we didn’t feel safe anymore. Moda Moving was able to provide us with a next-day time to get all of our things packed and removed. We hadn’t packed anything. We hadn’t had time. We had been staying away until we could move Vlad, Deena, Steven, and Stephan were the absolute best. We had a scary roommate situation and they were very understanding and quick. they packed all of our things neatly and labeled everything according to it’s contents. They were very friendly and easy to talk to, and we really enjoyed using this company to move. These guys deserve a raise. Honestly, this is the best moving company I’ve ever worked with, and I moved 3 times last year. I’d give 6 stars if I could.

I have already sent information to Ashley about the service. Not business is perfect on everything all the time. So I have a mixed review. The crew on day one did the better job. I had a pod that couldn't be move to the new location as there was no room. There were some items that were in the pod that should have been left behind. But, I couldn't be in the house and outside at the same time. The day one crew listened and followed instructions. The boxes were color coded, the apartment was also color coded and information was written on the tape what item was to be put in that location. The bedrooms were also color coded that way boxes and other things would get to the right room. The day two crew for reasons that I can't understand did seem to understand that concept. Empty bottles were packed. Items were put in the wrong bedroom. The colors were red, not going, blue and purple for each bedroom or wall half. They forgot a lot of clothes, asked for them to pack the cat window pearch, nope didn't happen, I am disabled and paid for Items to be packed. They packed my charging unit for my power chair. I still have not found it. The metal arm that straps to the bed to help me with my balance when I stand . For reasons I don't understand is why take off the straps. Now I can't attach it to the bed. The day two crew didn't get Items in the correct room. Then they packed several boxes onto a chair. Which created a possible tipping or falling problem. When they arrived the nose of the truck was in the roadway and they didn't put up a safety cone. Then there's a huge difference in the price they give over the phone to what happens in reality. Yes, they came to the house, which greatly increased the cost. What the should have done was to check the new location. Because the distance from the parking lot to the apartment was about 1/4 mile. And they has to share the elevator with the public. Far to many miss steps to give anything but 3 stars.

The 2 guys that moved our storage unit were great! Mike and 1 other guy, as they had one drop out day of, I wish I could remember his name. Our unit was jam packed and they were so efficient and hilarious! Pretty enjoyable Saturday for us and all our stuff made it into our garage safely. Thanks guys!!

Moda movers was alright. I had to keep contacting them to set and confirm my scheduled pick up. They were scheduled from 8am to 10am. They didn't arrive till 1045am. I had to call them asking when they were going to show. The movers were nice. One guy took a couple smoke brakes. The truck wasn't able to get in to receiving area. I had to help the movers Cary 2 or 3 loads up myself. Some of the garbage was left in the in the hallway. They provided me an estimate of 300 something. The final bill was 540 for 2 guys and 4 hours of moving. With this being my first experience I would not recommend them. I only had one bedroom of stuff. I hate saying this your better going with a uhaul and pay for that.

Moda sent an in-person rep who inventoried all our stuff and provided a competitive estimate. I liked the personal service. Ours was a big move over three days: packing, loading and delivery 100 miles away. Super job of packing our fragile chinaware and everything else. Four guys showed up to pack and were later aided by four more. Within 6 hours, the house was vacant. Delivery went very smooth and there was no breakage or damage. Moving is about the worst activity anyway, but Moda made it tolerable.

Move was scheduled in the middle of the week with just 2 weeks notice. 3 man team of Chase, Hayden and Jose arrived on time and helped move most of the heavy furniture with minimal dismantling. Move took a total of 6 hours and no damage to the hard floors or doorways, through fairly narrow stairs and placed in the correct rooms as we had instructed. They also helped pick a sectional and mattress from the respective stores on the way to the drop off address. The price is very competitive compared to other options but no compromise on the service!

I was happy with the whole service until I noticed that the company billed my credit card after I paid them in full in cash. They did refund the credit card, however no one there made me aware of their mistake. So while the mistake was corrected, my money is currently tied up until it becomes available again. That would have been the perfect opportunity to tell me they messes up.

I’m extremely satisfied with Moda Moving! They were on time and extremely professional. The 3 person crew got my in-town move done as quickly as possible and they were very friendly and nice. They took care of my things; wrapping couches and bookcases in plastic AND moving blankets. Not one thing was broken or mishandled. The only thing I didn’t expect was the drive time charges to be an extra hour for an in town move, but honestly they were so good I really didn’t mind. Definitely recommend! However, they are slightly more expensive then a few of their competitors. But if you want a smooth move, a little extra cost is worth it for this service level.

The only negative I have to share is they were late to our move, but considering we were moving during the pandemic I cannot hold that against them. The company was very professional in the setup of the move. I was very impressed by the move team, they worked well together, got us packed up in about an hour. The highlight of the move was how they got our very heavy Cherrywood desks out of the house. It was a tight fit out the back door with a post for a porch roof in the way. They wiggled it out but got stuck, tried a different approach and got it! It was amazing to watch the teamwork. They managed to get our move done under the estimated time and saved us some money. I had a excellent experience with Moda Moving. I had originally booked with another company, and at 4:30 on my scheduled move day, they let me know that they were not going to get to me that day. On a whim, I contacted Moda to see if there was any chance they could move me the next day. They were able to get me in the next day, a Saturday, by calling in two extra employees, who worked very hard and very fast. For seven straight hours, they loaded and unloaded the truck, even jogging back and forth to the truck at times between loads. The only break they took was to drive between my two houses. I couldn’t have been more happy with their work. Not a single item damaged, and they saved me from being stuck with a company that had bailed on me the day before with a weak apology despite having booked several weeks in advance. So grateful I contacted Moda.

I had a pretty good experience with Moda moving, with the exception of the dispatcher making me worry about them getting the job done two days before moving. I also heard the lead mover on the phone talking cost for about an hour worth of time, which just made me think they were trying to scrounge every dollar from me they could. There were of course fees that that were not disclosed in the quote, even though my weight was quoted correctly. Then they charged a 4% credit card fee which is just insane, considering they would not take a personal check. (A bank check would have worked apparently, but how would I ever know the final cost prior to getting one, and on a Saturday? Seemed to me like a scam.) The movers were very nice and helpful, but there was a sense of rushing towards the end, I certainly had some damage to pieces of furniture and brand new walls in the house. In their defense, it was one of the hottest days ever. I would consider shopping around more if I were to need a moving service again.

Modal comes equipped with a truck, dollie, blankts, mattress bags, and movers. Other local companies require that the movee has to rent moving supplies. This is a one stop shop for great value at a great price.

I needed a moving company to help move two small households into one large house. The contact person Lenin was fabulous. He was professional and very responsive to my household needs--except I was promised that they could move a potted palm tree for me. I sent them a photo even prior to the move and they confirmed that they would move it. But they wouldn't move it when the movers got there. They said no. We initially were told 12-4:00 pm. Come closer to the date, I was told 9:30 am. The crew showed up at 8:45 am --which was fine! It was Chase, Jordan & Mando (sp?). Chase & Jordan were awesome! But Mando didn't hold a candle to Chase & Jordan. As soon as they arrived, they hadn't even had a look around or touched anything and Mando asked to use my bathroom. Now I realize some folks wouldn't have a problem with that, but I do. I'm moving! I don't have time to sanitize afterwards. I don't know this guy! He just arrived. Then he asked to use the bathroom at the other house too. I don't like strangers using my bathroom (a Directv guy plugged up my toilet one time! It was SO gross) At one point, I saw him on his phone talking while he was supposed to be working, and it sounded personal. He also carried a very expensive bedroom armoire out and I watched him scrape the two of the back legs on the cement step. Later at my new house, he bumped into the master bathroom door carrying a load and literally took a chunk of wood out of the door...a small chunk but still very noticeable and I haven't even moved in yet! I can't say enough good things about Chase & Jordan. If you're lucky enough to get these two guys, you'll be blessed. Both are very caring and personable. The bill came to $1561.00. I couldn't believe it! I have used professional movers before --and yes moving multiple households at the same time and it never even came close to being that much. All Around Movers are who I usually use in my area, and they are always professional & affordable. I think Chase & Jordan need to apply there.
