We used Black Belt Movers this past weekend to move our elderly parents into independent living. This was an emotional time for the parents, but Cody, Jake and Jason were awesome. They worked fast, took excellent care of the belongings, had a great sense of humor and made everyone feel comfortable. They moved a treasured piano with utmost care. We chose Black Belt Movers again for helping us load a truck for a self-move. This was our third time with BBM and highly recommend them once again. The 3-man crew of Jacob, Davie, and Devon got right to work when they arrived and made quick and efficient work of getting all the heavy things out of the house and into the truck. It was such a relief to know we wouldn't have to struggle with everything by ourselves and within a bit more than 3 hours the guys had everything we had ready to go in the truck wrapped, blanketed, and tied in for the ride.

Props to Ninja Matt D., one of Black Belt's best. Selflessly and meticulously put in the extra time to make sure everything was packed well enough to prevent any damage whatsoever. Even went the extra mile, literally, to wrap and cushion a very delicate but heavy credenza, avoid stairs, and take it on a long, circuitous route down the city sidewalk to the truck in order to avoid any chance of damage. A very valuable asset to Black Belt. This attention to detail is what causes customers to return.

On Saturday, Feb 26th we moved into our new home. We hired Black Belt Movers and couldn’t have been more pleased! They had an amazing job. Our movers were Brady, Gio, and Gholibsho. They were all incredibly professional, kind, and considerate. They worked quickly and efficiently. Just listening to the team work, they communicated well and it made the day got that much better. We've used a few different moving companies in the past, but none compare to the quality and value of Black Belt Movers. Aaron, Dom and Brandon were amazing movers! They were on time, fast, extremely careful, clean, courteous, friendly and communicated well. They went above and beyond to move our appliances out of storage and into our new home, despite some tricky corners; they came prepared. I was preparing for a cross-country move to Arizona. I needed a great deal of help moving boxes, repacking boxes that had been damaged in storage and preparing odd sized items. It was a very labor intensive project with lots of confusion on my part. Matt and Robert were absolutely wonderful. They were helpful about where to solve some solve many problems and were great about my changing my mind several times where I wanted certain articles. I kept them longer then I contracted for and they were great about staying and finishing. They were able to really heavy items without problems. Th is my third use of Black Belt movers. I highly recommend them - Kudos to Matt and Robert for their help! They were great!

The crew that moved us into our new house was amazing; they arrived promptly on time, had a great attitude, worked very hard, and took great care of our belongings. I had a phenomenal experience using Black Belt Movers!! Ben and his crew were wonderful to work with. They were very quick, careful and efficient. They had my entire home packed in about 2 hours!! They were professional, friendly and extremely helpful. They went to great lengths to ensure everything was treated gently. They not only moved furniture, boxes, Etc they helped set up Furniture in the new home, suggesting ideas on furniture placement , based on things that I would not have thought about like plug ins, cable outlet locations etc. Ben checked in frequently to keep me posted on how things were progressing. He and his crew took the stress out of moving!! I highly recommend Black Belt Movers!

I would recommend this company with no hesitation. Beginning with the office staff who were polite and efficient. I had hired Black Belt movers in June of 2020 and was very pleased with their services. Then I needed them again 2/11/2022 to load a pod for me. Frank "The Tank" had the most impressive, MAD NINJA TETRIS skills ever!! He was able to get so much more in the pod than I ever would have thought possible. If it weren't for his skills, I may have needed to rent another pod. He and Keegan did an amazing job, quickly, efficiently and with very professional attitudes. It was actually a fun few hours. Who would think any moving experience could also be fun!

Move date was December 2020. This was our 2nd time using Black Belt Movers. We previously sold our home quickly and had to live in an apartment until we found a new home. We had to use a different company when we moved into our apartment from our home because Black Belt Movers did not have availability for when we needed to move. I know why. The other moving company was very inexperienced and had no idea how to load a truck. Their crew was very confused and not time efficient. I was stressed the entire time. We were so thrilled to have Black Belt to move us into our new home. This was such a stress free move! These guys are go-getters! They had our 2 storage units and our apartment packed up in an hour and a half and we have a ton of belongings. They hustled so much they were literally running. They all were so mannerly and professional. They all appeared to love their jobs and got along so well. They were such hardworking easy going people. We are beyond impressed with this moving company. Black Belt Movers did a great job with my local move. Admir, Johnnie, Cameron, and Isaiah showed up bright and early to load up my large furniture and other items, including a 700lb granite table. I requested they see if they could get two more movers to help us unload due to the weight and size of the items and they came through, sending out Cody and Alex within an hour to help with the move. They were all very hard workers and managed to get all of my items into my newly restored 130 year old home without damaging anything or the house. I contracted Black Belt Movers to move my elderly parents from their house to a retirement facility. I selected them based on the great experience another family member had with them recently and I was not disappointed. The move was fairly short notice but luckily they had crews available and the office person signed me up fairly quickly and without having to take a deposit. The location we moved to had a U-shaped staircase which is a pain with large furniture, but they got a heavy 8 foot table down with ease. I would highly recommend Black Belt Movers. We moved on probably the worst weather day of 2018 - rain, sleet, hail and snow all in one day. The team from Black Belt Movers was incredible. Not a single complaint about weather, incredible professionalism, great attitudes and amazing care given to our possessions and house. We moved an entire household of furniture on three different floors, including a large refrigerator and a heavy safe, and not a single scratch was on the walls and no damage to any items moved -that is almost unheard of in even the best of moves. I have read the other reviews and it sounds like they all had the same experience I had. Roberto, Germain, and Deante (I think were there names) were the best movers we've ever had. They were friendly, like family, they wasted no time. They worked like a cohesive team that had been working together for years, but Roberto is from Lincoln and they said they don't work together all the time. They saved us money on a 2nd storage unit by packing the storage unit we have very efficiently and with room to spare. Thank you! I am going to use them again next month. Great service!

They were very efficient in getting everything loaded and unloaded, and worked tirelessly to get everything done in only a few hours. What would have taken a group of friends and family 12+ hours took them 5. Every dollar spend was well worth not having the stress of moving ourselves and were so fun to be around. We have many large pieces, including a piano, beds, full dining set with buffet, and other decor items and moved them effortlessly! They communicated so well with each other and honestly was fun to joke around with them in between loads! As with all moves, it’s pretty much impossible to escape a little bit of damage. However, I have never worked with a company so straight forward and honest if something did accidentally get damaged or if a wall got knicked. They immediately told us, with amazing accountability, and walked us through how to do a damage claim for some small damage on a wall. I would 100% personally recommend this team of guys to anyone asking for a moving company!

Black Belt movers saved us from a bad situation. Our previous unloading crew overbooked and was unable to unload our rental truck on the date we had them reserved. They notified us of the situation two days before the move and late enough in the day that most other companies were closed or almost closed. When I called Black Belt movers the following day, they were very helpful and found a crew that could meet us at the new place to help get us unloaded. The movers were very quick, efficient, and really nice guys. They had the 20' truck unloaded and all items delivered to the third floor in just over an hour. Shim, Ricky and Pete were absolutely fabulous. They arrived on time and prepared to move my daughter from a house to a third floor apartment. They were polite and efficient. They followed instructions to a T and I never heard a negative comment or saw an eye roll at this old lady. Every item was handled like it belonged to them. After a quick walk through showing the items that were being moved they set about loading the truck with the random boxes and shrink wrapping the furniture. Since we are recent transplanted from New Jersey, we had three PODS that were delivered to a storage facility. Black Belt Movers unloaded the contents and moved half the contents into storage and the other half to our new apartment while we search for our new home. Jared (team leader) and his crew were great. Ben, the crew leader was professional, timely, and very family friendly. We had used Black Belt Movers at work and they did a wonderful job. We were moving to a new home so I decided to get a quote from them for my personal move. We were under a tight schedule but they were able to meet and beat the deadline. We had to be out of our house by 0900, they were there at 0600 with four people-ready to go. They all came over and introduced themselves and shook hands with my husband and myself-you don't see that very often anymore so we were both totally impressed. They had the entire house empty and loaded on the truck in two hours!!! We couldn't believe it. They were very careful, kind, polite and professional at all times. We got to the new house and they unloaded everything just as the boxes were labeled. Again, being careful of box contents, furniture and walls and doors to prevent any breakage or scrapes or wall dings. When they were finished-which didn't take long, they all again shook our hands and thanked us. The cost was considerably less than the last two times we had moved and the quality, speed, care of items, professionalism and friendliness was above and beyond anything I had ever experienced or expected from a moving company. Without a doubt-these are the people to use!!! I will never have anyone else move us, they were amazing. Nothing was broken or banged up and they completed the job in less time than we had expected. These people are amazing-don't miss your chance to have the best in town!! They can also come over and just move furniture around inside your home if you are unable to do it by yourself. I'm unsure of the cost on this so you would have to check with them. Again-5 stars isn't enough for Black Belt Movers-they are absolutely the best anywhere!!! Shim and Ricky arrived early at the storage unit and began working quickly. We had a 10x15 unit filled with furniture but they made it look too easy. The way they packed the truck so that everything was tight actually was impressive. That only took about an hour which was under my estimate I was thinking it would take. Once we got to the new apartment they worked every bit as fast and efficiently as they were at the storage unit. I was kind of dreading moving the washer and dryer that couldn't be used into the downstairs storage unit. But they moved them down there without complaint like clockwork. These guys are zero fuss, zero slack and all work. Call Black Belt Movers if you want some no-nonsense moving to get done.

Damian, Eric and Dominic helped us on 6/27 with our move, and it was a good experience. We didn't see an email from the night before confirming the morning time, so did not reply, so instead of arriving at 7:30 AM it was 8:30 which was our fault. They moved efficiently and steadily, and moving our 2 Bedroom/2 Bath apt took 3 hours to move too our house 20 mins away. You're charged hourly from when they leave the wearhouse till when the job is done, so around <1 hour of driving and 2 hours of loading and unloading with three guys. We paid under $500, which I think is fair pricing. Renting a Uhaul would have been at least ~$200. Also, they had a 26 ft truck which means nothing had to be balanced or stacked. I would recommend them to anyone looking for professional movers! Thanks guys!

I hired 3 personnel for two hours to help move my household onto a truck. I would be lying if I said I was not apprehensive about the concept of 3 strangers moving everything my family owns onto a truck and, since they are payed by the hour, how quickly they would actually work. But Admir, Cesar, and Logan proved my fears were entirely misplaced. Those young men showed up, walked the house, came up with a load plan, and knocked it out. They managed my entire house (2 bedroom duplex) and my storage unit (10 minute drive) in less the an hour and a half. They were professional, polite, and efficient. I provided the truck (20 foot U-Haul) and they packed it well enough that it was easy to drop off a bed frame with my sister and add things from Nebraska Furniture with no issues. Zach and Austyn overall did a great job. Very courteous, worked smart and generally did what was expected in a move. It was obvious they knew the most efficient way to get a move going, and how to get pieces of furniture where you needed them. If I had an issue that needs to be mentioned, it would be the glass shelves that were broken while loading the truck up. While they were part of a piece of furniture that had seen better days, it wasn't the breaking that bothered me so much, as noticing when I went back to the old condo later in the day, that the broken glass from the shelves was still there on the grass near the street. I mean, seriously, breaking something, and letting me know, fine- they did do that. But leaving it for me to clean up. Have to say, that's not acceptable. Things happen. But take some ownership when something breaks and clean it up. Aside from that, they were good. It appears that Black Belt has a good reputation, its why I decided to try them out. K

I moved November 20, 2019 and had Pavio, Roberto and Lev as my movers. After setting up an appointment I received a confirmation email with helpful information about my move. On the morning of my move my movers called to let me know that they were on their way. At my house they wrapped my larger items with doors and drawers with plastic to keep them closed during the move.They did a great job getting the larger items out of the old and into the new place. The movers were fast and I was very impressed with their speed, abilities, professionalism and the great attitude that all three of my movers had. Very fast pair of movers. We have worked with Alex before and this one was Alex’s trainer. I was amazed at the strength of these two. At one point after filling the truck with our first load, the mover spoke of safety (to not overfill the truck). I agreed and we scheduled a second load. Another sign of their experience was maneuvering our couch into a hallway, around a tight door. Eventually, the two brought it in through the patio door. Hopefully this is my last move, now that I’m retired. But, I can highly recommend this company and it’s crew.

I'd recommend this group to anyone. Every person was kind, the movers where young men, all very, very nice, courteous, polite, and obviously concerned with taking proper care of all of my belongings. They worked continuously and had me moved out and in quite quickly. Tip: 4 men per truck is the best way to go. The move goes about 33% faster than with 3 men, but the cost is only 25% more.

This is the best moving crew we have had! Black Belt Omaha for an in-town move: They arrived about 30 minutes late, but the crew chief, Terrence, called to let me know. They definitely made up for it in speed of move! Not only did they work quick, but they were cautious also and very careful with our furniture. They moved our piano perfectly and we heard zero complaints about it. One stand out moment: They picked up a china hutch and heard a "clink" and asked me if I wanted to double check it. I assured them it was empty, but they again, heard "clinking" when they picked it up and asked me again to check. I had forgotten to pack up the crystal and stemware! Thank goodness they were careful and persistent, saved me lots of tears over MY mistake! Their supervisor also stopped out to check in on things, which I think is excellent for "the boss" to make sure the crews are doing a stand up job. Thanks again crew!

Promise of Joy

I had Black Belt move one small load for me and then they came back and move all of the remaining items from a very large home. The 2nd crew they sent (Mike, Isaac, Julio, Santana, and Tim) worked so incredibly hard and diligently. In this heat I expected a slow down as they got tired but that NEVER happened! I watched them handle every item with care. Every crew member was respectful and cheerful with me even though I know they were hot and tired. I expected a lunch break and it never happened. They spent hours loading my household up and immediately drove to the drop off and unloaded. I am making another move long distance in a month and have personally asked for the same exact crew. THESE GUYS ARE THE BEST!!

Great value and great service!! Everything from the first phone call to final payment was smooth and as expected. They moved us from Omaha NE into a second floor condo in Chicago IL. 20 minutes before they arrived in Chicago to unload, the elevator quit in our building. Without one complaint they carried the first half of our things up the stairs. Fortunately the elevator got fixed about two hours in and they didn't have to carry the piano up the stairs. Even with the added time due to the elevator, the final price came in under the estimate. These are great guys to work with. Highly recommend them if you're moving across town or across country.

We spent the day with Levi, Mike, and Baruch. They drove to Sioux City and loaded us up in great time and drove our 2 trucks of “stuff” to Omaha. They even brought Baruch when the order didn’t request a third man. ( obviously a miscommunication and they took the initiative and did the right thing for us.) They were unloaded and on their way by 6:45 pm. We will be moving another home on August and will request these hard working, polite men. Moving sucks! These guys made it better.
