Amazing move experience! Thank you VS team for all the wonderful job that you did to make my move as pleasant as possible! It was easy to schedule the move, I got multiple reminders about the upcoming move from the system, the coordinator called the day before the move to confirm all the details. Movers came on time, packed all items, wrapped everything, loaded and unloaded, put everything in proper places. They worked very professionally. I didn't have to worry about a single thing. I most certainly will recommend this company & team to my friends and will call them again if I ever have to move.

Our moving consultant was honest and nice to us during the whole move. The truck arrived without delays. The driver made sure that the items were in good shape. They were very clear that small moves delivery takes 2 to 3 days since the beginning and they delivered in 3 days as promised. The cost was only 50 dollars above the quote, which is fair according to their great job. I would recommend them as a reliable company.

I had to move a lot of things that I had been packing up for over two weeks. I could not pack all the things and they helped me pack the last items, they were helpful and kind! they sent to my house the best crew they had. They even had to get my sofa up over the balcony because it would not fit though my door. They did everything with a great proactive attitude, I was so amazed with their work that I even gave them a tip when they finished loading. Fortunately the delivery was right on time and their help was also great when unloading and placing everything in my new house. These movers showed up exactly on time even though the pickup was programmed in the very early morning. It was four of them, they were all respectful and helpful with our belongings, they listened to all our instructions and even gave us some advices that were pretty handful. We really liked their way of packing and wrapping everything and their packaging fees seemed pretty fair to us. I would recommend this company for a solid, predictable experience with your move.

I had a smooth move with these guys. First off the sales man sent me a quote quickly, he was nice on the phone and answered to all my questions. I liked that he treated me like a person and not like a sale. I called back again to make my reservation. I liked they made my requirements their priority and not the other way around. Our movers, Ron and Alex, did a great job. They moved as quickly as possible and only started charging us once the work actually started (not for the prep time). They wrapped everything well before moving it and loaded things in a way that would be most efficient. There was one very small, barely noticeable scratch on our bed frame due to the moving process, but nothing was damaged and everything looked great at the end. Affordable movers is great and will make your move easier!

I would give 6 stars if I could. I've moved over 20 times in my life and Affordable movers are at the top of my list of best movers. From the beginning the quote given was accurate and came down when the two movers, Nick and Sam, completed the move within the estimated time frame. Nick and Sam were very professional and worked non stop from the outset. They wrapped everything in blankets and tape so nothing was damaged. I liked getting email reminders of my move and confirmation when they were on their way. Again a great company to use for your next move.

I was worried about moving because of my motorcycle. I needed to find a company that could move it and take it to my new home without a single scratch. I called 5 companies and one of those were these guys who guaranteed that nothing would happen to my bike and offered me good insurance. I decided to hire them and I don’t regret my decision. The day of pickup they came with a big crate to pack my bike. Their expertise was impressive. They also loaded the rest of my things and left. The loading team was smart and very easy to communicate with. It was raining on the move day but amazingly the movers instead of making excuses, they disassembled chairs, tables and beds and loaded everything quickly. Anthony & Naim were very careful and great! We needed to have lots of items moved because we were getting new carpet. We had a huge heavy corner desk with a matching hutch along with other items. Affordable & Assertive Moving & Storage LLC were able to accommodate us the very next day. Anthony & Naim showed up ready to help and were able to figure out how to take apart the desk and move it carefully out to the garage. We will be asking for them to help us move it back into the house and reassemble it. Being a Realtor I am always looking for great movers to refer to my clients.

Then I found the smaller companies had pickup and delivery times that were not convenient for me. But when I spoke to these guys I was given a better price and delivery window. During the move, the crew handled the furniture very carefully, in order to prevent any kind of damage; for mattresses, they used special bags to prevent rips and keep them clean; other items like glassware were protected with bubble wraps and thanks to that all of them arrived safe and sound, I was really amazed about their packing and moving skills everything was a complete success.

It's a short distance move but it's not an easy job because we have a lot of stuff, boxes, and big furnitures. They showed up on time in the morning and started working very quickly. They helped us to wrap our furniture nicely with blankets, and moved them without a scratch. Our biggest problem is the big treadmill. They help us to disassemble it and reassemble it quickly. We have some challenges, from the impossible parking situations in New York City, to road construction in Delaware ..the city decided to pave the street outside our door on the day of unloading, despite the fact that we had contacted them to have the curb blocked off for us. But Felix and his Assertive crew were terrific ... patient, careful, flexible but efficient, and very responsive to every request. They solved problems and made things easy for us. We had a lot of difficult furniture (e.g. heavy glass-fronted cabinets) but everything was delivered in good shape and good time. My job has me and my family relocate every few years. I got a quote from a company online and they sent this company. I had a few extra boxes and items so I needed an additional 300 cubic feet. Showed me exactly how much space I needed. But the thing I'm most impressed with is how well my furniture was packed. My furniture was covered head to toe with moving blankets and pads. They shrink wrapped my couches for free and also waived 3 flights of stairs. Recommended a few of my co-workers to them. This industry is filled with fly by night companies. Finding a reputable and reliable mover is like finding a needle in a haystack. Luckily a friend recommended Affordable & Assertive from her son's move to Cleveland, Ohio (they did an excellent job there as well). Sal took care of my 80 year old mom's move from Middletown, NY to Portland, Oregon from start to finish. We packed our own boxes but the movers (who were on time) took care of everything from pickup to dropoff including an upright piano (the only negative from the move was that a piano wheel was lost but can easily be replaced). Unlike the horror stories I've heard about, the quote was the price that she paid. There was a little confusion on the day of the move as my mom is hard of hearing but Sal was always available to clear things up for us and the moving crew. We were pretty flexible with the delivery date and so Sal suggested some ways we could save $ and still get a first rate move. HUGE thanks to Sal and his crew. My mom and I could not have done it without them.
