Very nice facility that is very secure. The staff has consistently been courteous and professional. There are two challenges that kept me from giving 5 stars: 1. If you want a set rent rate, then lock it in on a contract. Otherwise, my rent went up 3 times at least in the past year. 2. If you need a restroom, there is not one available for public use. I recommend you find facilities before you come to do anything here.

Andre did a great job helping me today! It was the day after a major holiday and he was super responsive and got me setup easily with a new unit (I downsized from a larger one). The facility is clean and seems secure (a code has to be punched in two areas to enter which I think makes it safer). The elevators work usually and theres usually a few carts available for use (these things may sound weird but I’ve been to places that never had carts one of the elevators was always broken). The only downfall is they do not lock rates in so it’s a regular battle trying to keep it affordable and part of why I ended up downsizing. I think this is common for storage units that only offer month to month contracts but it is part of the experience you should be aware.

Friendly and Attentive staff. Good size storage units with quality. Never had an issue getting carts for assistance carrying large items except once. Only issue I had, and this happens everywhere, was they kept raising the price of the unit multiple times in a 1 yr span, the first time was right after the 1st month of moving in and signing a contract and it was $100 more per month. I had to bring it to staff attention with them on phone and they said that that happens sometimes, but they were able to reduce the additional rate slightly by $30. All in all it's a good place. I just don't care for shady money grab tactics that the company uses.

First rented my storage in September back when hurricane ida hit. The process was very smooth thanks to whomever I spoke with over the phone it wasn’t anyone from the office it was the call center vacate I had called after hours I believe. So I rented from September 2021 to July 2022 the rate I was given did change in April due to inflation which was understandable. The staff at this location was great and always helpful so I have no complaints with them. However the elevator on the side I was on was always broke and the day I moved out it gave us hell lol but needless to say I’m out and the unit and staff was great.

Unbeatable prices, clean and new, with an easy as pie reservation process online. Taylor was friendly, attentive and very helpful. There was a complication where the unit I reserved was already booked, and she sorted it right away. It was a breath of fresh air after dealing with Public Storage, whose customer service can be nonexistent, and whose units are older, smaller, and more expensive. It was a easy and simple process, did everything over the phone with a representative, all the information I needed to complete was emailed for me to complete. I was able to get to the location the same day put my numbers in the keypad and had access. It did take a lil while to locate the unit but once I looked at the layout they sent me and found myself on the layout I was able to locate the unit from the layout with no problem at all 🤗 👍👌🍻

I would heartily recommend Extra Space storage! I was able to reserve my unit online, and when I went in to finish the reservation process, Andre was incredibly helpful and professional. He answered all of my questions, showed me the unit and how the facility works (which I might add is incredibly well laid out, clean, and user-friendly), and was very kind. Storage units are not something people normally get excited about, but with Andre and Extra Space storage, you will be very happy!

Phenomenal experience; from the online inquiry to the actual rental process/transactions was absolutely easily done (nice size for a nice price too) I was welcomed upon entering the building. The space is very clean, well-lit and everything is in working order. I like the drive-up feature so you never have to unload in the wind or rain. My only wish is that the gate hours went past 10 (I’m more of a late-night person than a morning person), but everything else is great, including the price!

Best decision I ever made! We have been looking for a storage facility for our seasonal items and some small, but awkwardly-sized, furniture that doesn't fit in our closets. After checking out some other local self-storage places, we settled on Extra Space Storage. In particular, I like that it's a new building - and it feels like it - clean and secure. We've been back a couple of times since renting the unit and our things are still in good condition, no issues. Since it's climate controlled (for real, not just claiming it), it seems the unit will be free from moisture/humidity-related issues, which was a key factor when selecting a storage place. The manager, Joe, is also super friendly and accessible. He made renting the unit easy. Thanks Joe!

I was at public storage but I switched because they had better rates. The facility is nicer, they have carts available, the have multiple elevators, I don’t need to enter a code to leave, they stay open later, and I can keep a key on file for my deliveries. This facility is great!!!

Extra Space Storage on Tchoup is beyond amazing! Moving to New Orleans from eight states away during a pandemic would have felt like an impossible task if it weren't for this incredible team.
