The team of movers, Ryan, Matt, and Sean, were incredibly friendly and made me feel comfortable from the moment they arrived. They were very efficient in packing my belongings and made sure everything was loaded onto the truck with care. The move went smoothly and I was impressed with their attention to detail and hard-working attitudes. If you are moving in or to the greater Nashville area, look no further! Master Movers was the single best moving experience we’ve ever had. We just had brand new hardwood floors installed and the work ran over schedule - so the floors were only 4 days done when we did the move. Brian, Matt, Luis, Rod and Justin laid down neoprene everywhere where furniture was going. They took off their shoes to get stuff around the house and took extra care with everything. If you need a professional move, this is the best company you’re going to find.

I spent several hours researching moving companies and ultimately I decided to go with Master Movers because I noticed while reading all the reviews, that they actually responded to each one in a meaningful way. For this reason I decided to go with them. When I made the reservation I spoke with a gal named Mercedes. She was pleasant and professional. I am only giving three stars because when I made the reservation I specifically requested a third man for the move because I needed to ensure I was not stressed about time and I did not want to push myself physically during the move. I had just traveled 5 days across country by car to arrive in Nashville from California and I was tired and emotional. When the truck arrived there was NO third person. The two men who did show up worked their tails off all day and when I asked them where the third guy was, they said he did not have child care and could not come to work. As a business operator I know full well about the staffing challenges of our time. They were bad before Covid and now post Covid it is even worse. However, that is not my problem. I had read a few reviews where this happened. I was upset but needed to keep moving forward. I called the main office that day and left a message for Mercedes and I never heard back. I had hoped I would at a minimum get a call back from her acknowledging my frustration, yet nothing. I was not looking for a deal. Just the recognition from the management that it happened. Had I gotten a call back and someone put in the effort to hear me out, I would have added another star to the review. At the end of the day, we did complete the move in 6 hours but I had to work very hard to make up the difference. While both of the men who helped me that day were willing to work very hard and had good attitudes, they lacked organization and their loading of the truck was sloppy. I had to ask to them to tie things down as they tented to stack items in an unsecured way. I am always asking people from different industries about their training programs to see how well employers are setting up their people to win. When I asked these men about what type of training they received, they just looked at me and laughed. Enough said. I know there were doing their best. They said these kinds of things happened often and it is really hard to find reliable people. When these employees do not know when and where they need to be until the night before, it makes it very difficult to plan your life when you are on call. Not sure if I would use them again. Had I known there was a high possibility that the third man wasn't going to show, I would have gone with another company for peace of mind.

Mike and his crew were efficient, protected all of our belongings, and were super nice, too! This was not an easy move, as our new location is down a steep narrow hill, but they maneuvered it like a champ. A friend recommended you to us and we will now do the same.

Great experience and super friendly. They were even able to make adjustments on the fly and didn't have an issue with adding a run to our storage unit to clear it out after moving in the first load. Mo, Bubba, and Cody were hard working and unbelievably strong. Items i was certain they would use a furniture dolly to carry up stairs they just scooped up and hand carried them up. Amazing. And best of all, no door or wall dings anywhere. A++++ service. Would use again without question.

I was thoroughly impressed with the services by Master Movers. Mike, Carlos and Preston were exceptionally courteous and extremely careful with all of our belongings. We moved locally into a new build, and not one item was damaged in the process. I have moved 8 times in the last 10 years, and this is the first time I've ever hired a moving company that did not break or damage either the items they were moving or the dwelling to which I was moving into. They arrived timely at 9 a.m. just as Jennifer said they would, and they left right at 12 p.m. We chose the option of having a three-man crew, which helped tremendously. Two of them loaded up the dollies while the other one packed the truck, so the time efficiency was impeccable. They worked the entire time and took no breaks. Jennifer was also extremely helpful and knowledgeable about exactly what size truck we needed and the size of the crew she thought would be beneficial for our type of move. We will definitely use Master Movers again and will recommend them to all of our friends and family.

We used Master Movers for moving a storage unit as well as unloading 2 Pods (on separate occasions). We worked with 3 different teams on these moves. All of the moves went smoothly, our belongings were treated with care, and everything was done with expediency as well. Some movers drag their feet when they are being paid by the hour, but not the employees at Master Movers. They worked like the professionals they are! We hired Master Movers for our move over Memorial Day weekend 2020 and they were awesome. We were moving from apartments within Nashville (2 bed to 1 bed). It was easy to schedule the move with Jennifer. We had Mike, Tanner, and Stephan as our crew and they were all great. Courteous, professional, and extremely efficient. They worked at a fast pace and got us moved all in about 2 hours, which was really nice for our schedule as well as for keeping the budget down! They treated our stuff with care, and we didn't have any pieces get damaged during the move. We were really nervous about hiring movers for the first time, but we had a great experience and we're planning to hire the same crew whenever we move again. We would recommend them to anyone looking to move in the Nashville area!

They arrived, loaded and had me moved and set up in 5 hours (its 4 hours road time) total of 9 hours with the best moving crew I have had the pleasure of doing business with. From start to finish, this is by far the very best moving company that I have ever used!!! I have moved many times and have fragile items. They were very careful and considerate! Master Movers was a great experience with professional results. I had a three man crew with Cody, Tanner, and Devin who all made quick work on the few items I had ready for them. If I asked something of them, they didn't question it, they just did it, that's what I like to see from a reputable company. While I only had a few large items and moved a relatively short distance away, I would still highly recommend Master Movers for any size move. I will certainly use this company again in the future. We had the best experience with Master Movers! Dre and Cody were our movers and they were so kind and helpful. I had heavy furniture in an upstairs storage unit (with no elevator) and they had the furniture down in no time with no scratches or damage to the furniture. They know what they are doing! We had two locations to move furniture out of and it barely took over two hours. I highly recommend Master Movers.

I don't remember the names of the two guys we had, but they were very nice and friendly. And didn't complain once about the mountain of stairs they had to repeatedly climb. I know it's their job and everything, but it really was A LOT of stairs. They were quick and efficient. And handled our antique furniture with great care. My only complaint about the movers is that one of the guys clogged up our toilet before he left. They're moving all day, so I really don't mind that they used our restroom, but a curtesy flush or two would have been nice. No one wants to have to take care of someone else's clog... The quality of the move itself was exactly what we were hoping for. If we move again within the service area of Master Movers, we will mostly likely use them again.

I arrived in Nashville, TN on Tuesday afternoon from North Carolina. Master Movers unloaded my van/truck Wednesday morning.They placed my furniture in requested rooms, they assembled my mattress and box spring and headboard, setting up the bedroom completely. They unpackaged my ironing board and set it up. They reassured me to relax, they had this; and, indeed they did! I had a restful night's sleep in my bed and up for a new position on Thursday morning at the firm as a new lawyer, clothes pressed :) I felt like I was working with "Special Forces" as their command of the operation was impeccable.

My husband & I used Master Movers back in August for our move from Hermitage to East Nashville. In my search for moving quotes, they were among the most reasonable in price. The movers showed up on time and were great to deal with. The entire move took about 3 1/2 hours, which is much less than we expected for a 3 bedroom house. Pros: the 2 guys, Mike and Austin, worked hard and fast and took good care of the furniture. They were very friendly also and I was very happy with their work. Great workers. Con: I had ordered a 3 man crew and 26 ft truck, and they sent me a 2 man crew and 20ft truck. While the crew still did a good job, I wasn't able to get everything on the truck and therefore have to go back tomorrow to get the rest myself. It would've been nice if they would've sent what I was promised. I was also still charged $119/hr, which was the rate I was quoted on the phone and in my confirmation email for a 3 man crew.

The entire experience, even the heaviest items seemed effortless for them and they answered all of my questions and were pleasant to talk with throughout the process. On the unloading end, items were placed carefully and checked for any damage in transit. As someone who has moved multiple times over the past few years these guys were worth every penny. Moving is stressful enough but when you have a honest and thoughtful leader like Dustin handling your needs it made the whole process fly by. I would recommend them to anyone!

Our previous movers canceled on us less than three hours before they were supposed to come, so I went to thumbstack and found Master Movers. They promptly sent me what I deemed as a fair quote, and Jessica, their office manager, was friendly and helpful in setting up this last minute move out. She gave me a thirty minute window of when the two movers would arrive, and then informed me that they would call with a more precise time later, and they did. Amar (not sure on the spelling) and Mike were right on time, and they got all of our furniture (we did the boxes ourselves) out of our 1 bedroom apartment in 30 mins! Plus, they were super nice guys and very professional. Overall, Master Movers is effective at their communication, prepared, and efficient. I would highly recommend them.

The three guys worked their butts off to get us out of a 1900 sq ft condo plus about 2000 sq ft storage unit over the course of a two day move. They worked together professionally and were great. One thing to mention is that the estimator should have realized that their 26 ft truck could not handle the 2000 sq ft storage unit part of the move. But that was not the fault of the three guys. I read some of the other negative reviews and am always amazed that people put themselves in bad positions and want to find someone to blame. Seriously, allowing strangers access to jewelry is difficult to understand. Not sure of the slowness or cost over runs, but in my case these guys moved fast and coordinated - my cost was about $200 less than their estimate. Our move from Chattanooga to Nashville using Sanders Moving and Storage in 2010 was a total disaster from the standpoint of cost and schedule and items missing. Our move from Knoxville to Chattanooga using United was a flop as well with guys who did not want to do work. This move from Nashville to McEwen was superb!. Master Movers truly was great. When you plan your move you should consider them but be accountable for your own actions, don't trust strangers! Any small business like MM has a chance of hiring people who have bad days, poor ethics, but MM certainly did a good job on our move.

Michael M and Tyler did a great job of moving furniture, boxes, etc. to a storage unit in prep for work on our house. I only needed them for an hour but had to comply with the 2 hour minimum. That's ok cause it's pretty standard for all movers I think. They got right to the job, were careful and very fast as well as being very polite. I'll call them when we're ready to move back in and hope I get the same 2 movers.

These guys were very professional, friendly and helpful! We were helped by Mike and Ameer. They came on time and Mike unhooked appliances we didn't have ready. Ameer helped tighten screws in a table that were loose, I was about to trash it! Mike also helped us figure out the best way to set up our furniture in the new apartment. These dudes were so great this is the first time i've written a review. I had enough stuff to fill up the majority of a 20ft truck and they had it loaded in a little over 30 minutes. Weather was awful and it pushed us into rush hour, so the move itself took longer than I hoped, but they made it as FAST as possible. When moving in, times when I didn't have the elevator ready for them, they were still making trips form the truck and moving it to the elevator. There was no standing around whatsoever. I think we got my stuff unloaded and up to the 5th floor in a little under an hour. Can not recommend these guys enough. If I ever move in the state again, I will not hesitate to use them again.
