I called looking for help. They delivered the service in less than an hour of my call. I know that's possibly atypical but I'm grateful. The guys were in contact with me and verified the items that I needed removed (I wasn't on location) and they handled it. Afterwards they sent me photographs of the site. Payment was easy and done over the phone. Great job. Highly recommend them!

We moved from Nashville to Texas. These guys were amazing. G was the lead I believe and he was so pleasant and professional. The other guys were just as good and so fun to be around. We had one issue but was resolved quickly. They didn’t get started till later then they wanted to but they arrived safe and secure. Thank you all for an amazing job. Now the unpacking begins.

They were early, they loaded the truck so perfectly, they took care of everything. I am so impressed on every level for how great the team was. More than 5 stars. I used College Hunks for moving some heavy items to different locations in my house and some out to my driveway for charity pickup. The 2 guys who came were on time and did the job without damaging anything. Every other "well known" moving company in the Nashville area I've used in my last 4 moves left a lot of damage behind. Used them again to bring the washer and drier that was at first forgotten. Dillon and Jorge were very nice and accommodating Used them again for junk removal. Very happy with the outcome. Took more expected. Very pleased The guys were great. Would definitely recommend. They did forget to haul my washer and drier though but I blame the confusion with my roommate getting involved even though the move was for myself only. I do not blame them one bit, but would also like the trip for the delayed washer and dryer expense to be discounted; especially now I will be without until the 29th. Both Blake and Kawaski, again, were at no fault. It was a very hectic move with a lot of items and they did everything to the best of their ability and were amazing.

So easy to set up online and then I got a call the day of my pickup from AL, who was 10 minutes away, right at the top of the window of time I had requested. AL was fantastic and kind to my coworker who met him at the pickup site, and I paid by credit card over the phone because I was offsite. No trouble at all.

ABSOLUTELY AWESOME. I moved from Nashville to Little Rock and their prices were BY FAR the best and they have amazing workers (this move was Jade and Tyler!) This is the second time I’ve used them, first for moving, and I have already recommended them to two or three people who are planning on moving. I never worried about them not getting my stuff to the location in one piece or stealing it like some horror stories you hear. 12/10 recommend and I’ll use them again for sure!

On several occasions during the move in phase, I needed things repositioned,which they happily did, saying "it's our job". We moved from Nashville to Florida recently and our experience with College Hunks was excellent. Taylor did our estimate and was very responsive as I added and subtracted from the inventory. I packed beforehand and about 5 of them moved a 4 bedroom house in about 4 hours on moving day. Tez and Joshua drove the VERY packed truck down and stayed in contact so we never wondered where our stuff might be. Because it was only Tez and Josh here to unload, it took a little longer to empty the truck but they were amazing. It was hot as hell and with a little assistance from us, they just kept going and we got it done in about 6 hours. They were so kind and respectful of our stuff and new space. Not one thing was damaged. I highly recommend this moving company. They were an excellent value and I felt like I had more control over the process because we weren’t at the mercy of a Semi that happened to be going south. Plus it was only OUR stuff in the truck so I didn’t have to worry about my grandmothers China getting dropped off at someone else’s house. If you’re planning a move, definitely get a quote and as about their process. It will be with your time.

The pick up men were professional and courteous and came the next day after I booked it (which was great!). I was surprised on site at the pick up time when they quoted me almost $200 higher than what I expected. When I booked it on the site it told me I'd get an advance call that I did not receive, so when the guys arrived I was a bit backed into a corner. But they got it done. Just know this up front. If they don't call, the appointment you made will likely be the "estimate" appointment and you'll have to decide right there if you want the job done. Not an ideal scenario.

Pricing is on par with other movers in Nashville. The booking process was straightforward. I called on a Tuesday for a Saturday appointment following. I had an afternoon window. The movers respectfully called on Saturday to see if they could come earlier. I didn’t have a problem with it and everything was done way before schedule allowing me to free up my Saturday. They were in and out in 1.5 hours and moved quite a few heavy appliances quickly. I would call college hunks again if I need some labor help in the future.

I cannot say better things about College Hunks!! I had originally contacted Junk King Nashville and was greatly disappointed. Here is my review I left for them "Terrible customer service, all around!! I called on 9/13 to setup and appointment that was scheduled for 9/16. I was assured that if I approved the quote they would have a team there to remove the needed items same day. My service window was from 1-3pm and they were supposed to call 45 minutes in advance to their arrival. The phone call was never made and they showed up a hour late at 4pm. After arrival and giving the quote, I approved but they told me they were only there for a quote so no items would be removed that day. They then told me the earliest they could come back would be Tuesday 9/21. I called customer service and spoke with Tyler to notify them of the issue. By the time I spoke with them the earliest they could then get out there would be Thursday 9/23. With the property not being completely vacant it is costing me $200/day. I expressed this and all of the other issues to Tyler. He said he was going to reach out to his owner and would call me back. I never heard back from him and called 2 more times trying to speak with him. I did finally get him back on the phone today 9/20 and he said that there was no way for them to get there sooner than 9/23 nor was the owner willing to help out with the estimate to help offset the $200/day they are costing me due to their failure to complete the job on 9/16 as agreed upon. I highly recommend NOT using this company if you want any sort of acceptable customer service. College Hunks was able to get me a lower quote and come out within 24 hours of my call to them in order to get the items removed from the property. I would definitely recommend them and their customer service has been excellent! Junk King Nashville is just that, JUNK!" College Hunks was great and I would recommend them to anyone!

Honest review alert! I hired 4 movers to unload a 26' truck, coming from out of state. Individually, each of the movers were very hard workers and did a good job unloading and following directions. But overall, they lacked a level of professionalism that I would expect based on their cost and the service they provided. I moved into a brand new home, and after these guys left there were marks on every single wall. Not marks from moving furniture or boxes, but dirty hand prints and smears from their clothing. Once they got inside the house, their placement of boxes was pretty chaotic. I stood at the front door directing them where to place everything, but that was still a bit lost in the shuffle. In my opinion, they should be well trained to move in tight spaces, and I felt that was lacking from my experience. Maybe if they all had a uniform on, that would have also added to their professional look? Overall, I cannot stress that individually these guys were great. They were truly college aged kids, working hard to make a buck. But I will not hire these guys again.

Edit to say: I had to drop the stars since when we went to bed I had two of three beds collapse on us. Apparently they didn’t see fit to tell me they left the bolts behind so now I have the beds on the floor and no one to speak to about this.

The office customer service was great. Scheduling was easy and they were professional when confirming and following up. However, the two men who came to my house to move were not quite at the same professional level. They were on time and they did want they needed to do, but they weren’t friendly and seemed pretty tired and bummed to be there. I heard them complaining about my stairs on a few occasions (even though I stated that I was 2nd floor while scheduling). Overall this company was good, and I would likely book again, but the movers could have been a bit more professional. Also, and perhaps most bothersome, they were not masked and there seemed to be no protocols in place against covid.

The communicated the arrival time the day before, and an approx amount. On the day of the removal they called, asked if they could arrive early, which was great. They quickly assessed the junk to remove. We agreed on the price, they quickly loaded the junk and were off. Our movers were Quinn, Henry, D'Reba, and Carlos. They were overall great and worked hard. We had been expecting three movers and got four for the same price we were quoted which was perfect. They worked the whole time at a steady pace. We had some heavy stuff, our new home is three levels, and it was a hot day with an AC that couldn't keep up with the door open and they didn't complain or anything. We wouldn't have been able to get it all up those stairs without their help. All were very polite when asking for anything like using the restroom. The original phone sales person did try to upsale us to two moving trucks.. I called back and told them to just book one truck and I would haul whatever didn't fit myself. Of course, it all fit. They do charge $10 per mattress bag so if you can grab those cheaper elsewhere, do. Other items were wrapped for free. And they require you to either have your TV in the original box, haul it yourself, or buy their $50 TV box. We hauled two of our TVs but did have to pay to haul the third because of it's size. So far with the boxes we've unpacked nothing seems damaged. We had a table that I had to repair, but I think that was more because it's old and I was able to fix it myself. I was most nervous about my couch because their insurance policy isn't great, but it was well wrapped and delivered spotless. Their unofficial estimate was 5 to 5.5 hours which was accurate. The 2 movers were prompt and polite. I probably would have tipped them more if the senior mover had mentioned tipping only once, but I found twice to be too much. When they moved a sofa bed from one room to another, they forced it up ended through a doorway that was about 1” too low. The result? A 3 - 4 inch tear on an otherwise perfectly good sofa, and scrapped paint on the door trim. Still haven’t gotten a call on that yet. The rest of the move went very well. They did a good job moving a large sofa and 2 recliners up to the second floor. I will hire them again, but probably for junk removal, not moving good furniture.

We uset them twice. The first time they were fantastic. The second time was plagued with problems. One guy quit halfway through the move so there was a delay trying to find a replacement. Then when we got to the new house, the supervisor informed me that he had been double booked and had to leave the job with one of the crew members for 2 hours. They sent 2 new crew members but they didn't ask where to put things and just unloaded the truck as fast as they could. It took us weeks to find everything, boxes labeled kitchen in the garage etc. They also damaged some of our furniture and while they were very apologetic, they referred me to a local company Nashville Refinishing who are very hard to get ahold of

Our experience with this company was remarkable. From the ease of setting up the movers to paying them at the end, everything went as planned. The crew called 30 minutes prior to arrival as they promised. They immediately surveyed the contents of the home and began to setup padding and wall protection. They then proceeded to move, no standing around, no dragging behind, all three movers moved as if they had done it before. They stopped for one minute to grab a swig of water and went back to it. However, on the phone, the price was tentatively stated as being $129, and when the guys came to the house the reiterated $129. I said yes. They loaded my "junk" and then one of the guys said his manager had changed the price to $189. That's not ok. Not only does it make your employees uncomfortable, it irritates your customer. I could have flatly refused to pay, and have the guys take the now torn up box and its contents and put it back. That would have made it very difficult for me to pick up and throw away. So I met in the middle and gave $150. Don't do that. It's NOT a good business habit! By the way, I will put this on Google.

I used these guys over the weekend and Austin and Carter exceeded all of my expectations. First off, I rescheduled my time 2 days before and they did not charge an extra fee or make a fuss. The guys called to let me know when they were on their way and showed up exactly at the beginning of my windowed time. They neatly wrapped every piece of glass and mirror. They did not mind disassembling and reassembling my bed nor did they complain about all of the stairs. They both had smiles on their faces the entire time even though it was 8 AM on a Saturday. I highly recommend these guys for all of your moving needs! (Plus they were cheaper than anywhere else I got a quote from)

I've never used a service like this before and wanted to clean out a garage with lots of old furniture and a refrigerator. First, I went online to schedule an appointment for a quote but didn't see an option for that so I called. They send a truck out and quote it while there. If I want them to do the job, they do but if not, there's no obligation. A 2 man crew came, gave me an estimate and hauled all the stuff away. The crew was polite, and cleaned up after themselves (they broke the furniture up using sledgehammers and there was a lot of debris, which they picked up). The only reason for 4 stars instead of 5 is that I was told they would call 30 minutes before coming, which didn't happen and to quote the work, I had to get most of the furniture out of the garage into the open with their help. I would have preferred for them to have done it. Other than those points, I was very pleased and now have much more space in my garage!

This was a short distance move so the 5 extra trips we made moving the rest in our cars wasn't horrible, but wasn't something we had accounted for in time off and we lost a day of planned unpacking.

We moved from Colorado with a 27' semi trailer being delivered to our eventual home. The first moving company was late and stated the load had shifted and was unsafe. So they just left and any boxes or items they pulled were just left in the yard. Thank goodness for College hunks! Under two hours they had everything unloaded and in my house for half the price the original company charged me. I hope I never have to move again but if i do I'm calling these guys first.

Chris and his crew worked very hard and consistently. No telephones, no smoke breaks, they didn't even eat. What a change from most services nowadays. Our 4 hour job turned into a 7.5 hr job do to some storage hiccups. They did not complain and kept working and packed the truck very well and efficiently. There was some small damage to the walls , but all in all they were pretty smooth since we had some pretty heavy furniture going down a curvy staircase. I would recommend these guys for any move.

When they arrived, they immediately began working, careful to lay down fabric to protect the carpet while walking in and out of the apartment. I don't write reviews but when the work is exceptional I have to. After being diagnosed with a hernia strain I had to call for help (College Hunks) and they sent Dre and Jasse who moved 50 boxes from the first floor to 3rd floor attic. It took them less than an hour to do something that would have taken me 5 hours to do by myself. Do not think that you can save money by doing it yourself, your time and health is more important. Dre and Jasse were unbelievable and awesome to work with. Highly recommend!

I'd recommend College Hunks Moving to anyone. We moved from Nashville to New Orleans and they were the only company that could promise a date to deliver our stuff. They assigned a lead person who was there from the initial walkthrough all the way to when our stuff was delivered which gave us real peace of mind. I inquired as to why an individual was picking up a heavy item and was told a dolly takes too long. The end result was several items that were bumped and wood was chipped.
