Very clean and well-maintained facility, I also was glad to have my stuff in an indoor, temperature-controlled unit since I used it longer than I'd planned. Variably sized units to choose from, and even though mine was on the 2nd floor it wasn't too much of a hassle to bring things in bc the elevator was large and they provided gurneys. BUT during move-out both elevators were down (one had been for weeks apparently, which I must say is a pretty critical fault for a storage facility). Got one working ourselves bc when we called they didn't have an emergency person to send to repair it and basically said we'd have to use the stairs or wait. Also, my rent took a bigger hike than I'd expected after my promotional discount ended. Other than those 2 things, a great experience overall, facility feels very secure and I had trust that my stuff would be in good condition when I got it back.

On a few different occasions I was not able to get into the building during business hours and no one answered my calls either. Very hard to actually talk to someone at that particular location when you call. Otherwise clean building.

Nice facility. Easy back in spot for inside unload. 1 elevator out of service. 1 unload bay out of service. Narrow doorway (36") inside facility. You would think a wider doorway could have been installed in a facility where you are moving goods on carts.

I received amazing fast customer support and a upgrade to a larger unit instantly on the spot of unit inspection, was pleased the rep knew each available unit without having to go back to her computer. The check in was fast, which I appreciated due to being in a hurry. My unit was extremely clean and the move in was easy due to the supplies provided and my first month was free. Overall 5 star experience. The woman that assisted me, Leila,very was kind, knowledgeable and understanding of my time schedule, I was in and out after viewing two units, paperwork signed at the end of her work shift. I highly recommend Extra Space storage. Abdul was so friendly and helpful! He took the time to listen and understand my needs for the storage space. Even to the point of being able to recommend a better storage unit for a small additional monthly charge that was both larger and more easily accessible. I was running around taking care of a lot of errands so it was nice to have someone helping to make sure I had the best setup. I also appreciated the time he took to explain all of my option regarding billing, insurance, etc. The storage space is also nice and clean.

Gave a thorough overview of how the facility worked, and tips on best spots to unload your car. Easy process for moving out. Was able to give a 24 hour notification online when I was ready to empty everything out.

This Extra Space Storage location is the absolute best! I was able to call and Chris set me up with a reservation over the phone. I walked into the building 5 minutes before closing and Abdul was so kind and patient and walked me through the process. He showed me where my unit was and the best way to get in and out the building. The price was also much more affordable than competitors. I'm so glad I chose to store my stuff here! They will be the only place I store with whenever I need storage.

I've never rented a storage space, but working with Abdul so far has been everything I could've wished for! He was informative, kind, and bonus: so much fun to talk to. He made sure, especially as a first timer, that I knew what to do, where to go, and all the important details. He even made sure that I was comfortable using the keypads and locks that I was previously unfamiliar with so I wouldn't have any issues - I really appreciated that! The facility itself is newer, very clean, very easy to find, and is taking all the proper steps to stay safe during a pandemic. I wouldn't hesitate to refer anyone to this location! I've had a unit with this location for almost a year now and I have nothing but great things to say about Extraspace. From my first phone call to today's phone call about my needs for an additional unit Leila has been amazing! Very professional, easy to work with, and upbeat (which is rare and refreshing these days). The facility is right off the Broadway/Washington exit off I-94 (North of the Twins Stadium). The facility is new, it is clean, it is bright, and best of all it has 3 garage bays and one 'Dock Truck' bay ('HEATED' & Air Conditioned) for easy loading and unloading out of the elements, which I love because I use my storage unit to load and unload my tools for remodeling projects. For the money, it beats the local competition hands down. I've lived in Minneapolis for 9+ years now (In an apartment, hence the storage unit for my tools) and wish I would have rented this space a long time ago for my tools it would have save me a lot of headache...and perhaps prevented my truck from being stolen out of the parking lot for all my tools. I got my truck back thankfully but it cost me $2000.00+ plus to replace my tools. I'm a carpenter/remodeler (Commercial and Residential). At the end of the day, this facility has been a huge blessing for me, it has given me peace of mind, I actually enjoy swinging in and out when I need to and the staff is great to work with. I would definitely recommend, Two Thumbs Up!

Clean, new, secure, safe, heated storage facility in the heart of downtown Minneapolis. The employees are super friendly. What I really like about this facility is that there's two spots to drive right into the building. It's heated, so it makes it nice in the winter time. The prices are pretty reasonable for all that they offer. There are two bathrooms right inside the door next to the office. They are closed at this time due to COVID, but it was really convenient when the bathrooms were open.

Amazing service. Carifest organization needed last minute storage for an Annual festival. Layla went above and beyond to accommodate our many needs. I was impressed with the customer service as soon as I walked in I was greeted by a friendly guy whose name I won't mention but you know who he is. it was such a nice experience the facility was clean and i loved that my unit in particular was on the main floor which is what I wanted, the guy was very helpful he walk me through the process he showed me patiently how to use the codes and everything and also assisted me with my door and gave me an overall tour of the facility. my experience was top-notch in every way. Easiest move ever! Love this brand new space with a pull-in, enclosed loading area. The whole experience was fast, easy and friendly. I reserved online in advance and met with Brad who showed me multiple options to make sure I got the right size. He also gave me some moving tips and great orientation. He even stopped over to see how things were going when I started moving in. GREAT customer service--I was actually excited to move in.

I had a great experience organizing my move. It was a huge relief that I could contact them on the phone beforehand and set up a time to set up my space with the office. This location is brand new, I was their first customer, it's even got two indoor carports for warm moving during the winter.
