I had a great experience! I moved out of a second floor, one bedroom apartment into a third floor, 2 bedroom condo. Everything was professionally handled, wrapped, and padded, and no corners were cut. I did most of the small-item moving myself ahead of time and let them handle the large items (bed, dresser, sofa, etc). Total move time was about 2.5 hours. Emily was also very helpful setting everything up, getting me the forms to fill, and giving me a call before the move.

The three guys I had were GREAT. They moved me from my 1-bedroom apartment into a studio apartment down the road, and what would’ve taken me days to do on my own took them less than an hour. They were so kind, handled my items with care, and clearly knew how to be efficient. The cost of the service was also extremely reasonable. Moving is already expensive as is, so I really appreciated this. Although I don’t anticipate moving again in the near future, I will 100% use Muscle Movers if/when I do!

I had a great move with College Muscle Movers from beginning to end. They made it possible to move the very next day after I called. When they had additional time, they came early. The whole way through Collin and the other mover checked in with me, made sure everything was very carefully packed. They reassured me the things that are most valuable to me would be extremely well packed and they were. On arrival at my new place they went through extra effort to make things fit in odd spaces in an old house. I can't recommend them more and the price can't be beat. Thanks guys!!

They provide exactly what their name implies. A couple of young backs with a truck to move your boxes. Some of the one-star reviews seem to be people that expect far to much from movers (a common thing, I'm sure). That said, our guys were amazing! They were ready ahead of time, handled a lot of extra work, and damaged nothing. Maybe because we had the forethought to put our flat screen back in the box it shipped in? IDK. Would hire again.

I used College Muscle Movers (CMM) at least twice so far and both times were great experiences. The first time I used CMM was in 8/2015 to hire only movers to help me move my belongings from a freight truck into a 3rd floor apartment. They handled my belongings with care, and I recommended them to my friends after that. (Come to think of it, I think I also hired CMM before that too.) More recently, I used them again this summer 8/2022, and needed movers and a truck at LAST MINUTE. CMM was able to book me a truck and two helpers within 48 hours of an impromptu move, and they arrived on time, and were gracious and hard-working. The move was difficult because the townhome had multiple stairs or levels which was laborious but the two CMM guys never missed a beat or slowed down despite dripping with sweat. One even seemed to enjoy the physical demand because he'd skip or sing in between the lifting. I was particularly moved when I saw how careful they were with handling my belongings. They handled my things as if it was theirs - these guys had heart. Movers could easily drop heavier boxes with less care, but these two guys NEVER did that. Plus, they were kind to me the entire time. All of my belongings were in perfect condition. They helped me load my stuff, and met me at my new destination, and helped me unload my stuff just as energetic as when they first arrived. They even helped me rearrange certain heavy items so I had a pathway to walk around in my new place, and they helped me put the metal bed frame together when they didn't have to. Both times I used CMM, the price transparency is reliable, receipts/charges for labor was easy to understand, and the ability to get a hold of someone to talk to and to arrange for a move for the right size truck and number of movers was always easy. The Google reviews are not a reflection of my experiences with CMM. I would use CMM again in the future - particularly the last two CMM guys I had.

We bought a couch and realized after it was delivered to our front door that we were not going to be able to move it in ourselves. With rain in the forecast, we needed to get it inside ASAP. Called a few moving companies but most had 2 hour minimums, which was out of budget for a quick move. We found College Muscle movers and they fit us into our schedule that day and only had a 1 hour minimum for a muscle only move. The guys were punctual, friendly, and treated our new couch carefully. Great service booking on the phone as well. Highly recommend this company!

They did a pretty good job and got everything moved with no major damage and only a few broken dishes (probably our fault for not packing well enough). They were working hard the entire time and it was a long day moving a 5 bedroom home. They were also in line with their cost estimate. Our two disappointments were that they nearly left half of a sectional for my basement on the main floor because they couldn’t get it apart. Luckily, after helping them with it we got it apart and moved down to the basement. The biggest bummer is that they knew we had an elliptical that needed to get moved to our new basement. Them being willing to move it was one of the reasons we hired them - it is still sitting in my garage because they decided they wouldn’t be able to get it down the stairs. I feel like there was a bit of a miss here and more of an annoyance after paying a significant amount for movers and being stuck dealing with it ourselves. Just something to be aware of, but overall did a good job and would recommend for a basic move.

Hired CMM to help me move my heavy items from one apartment to another on the other side of Minneapolis. The truck and movers showed up on time and didn't waste any time getting started. I had 14 items in total, including a couple of very large and heavy items. Door to door took just under 2 hours, much quicker than I expected. I would definitely use this company again and recommend to anyone else that is moving.Good service and a very reasonable price.

What a great moving experience! Bennet and Noah were great! They showed up ~10 minutes early.They worked efficiently and were able to finish the job in the time quoted. I had two dressers, a mirror, and a nightstand and they were wrapped real nicely and had no damage. At the end, there was an issue with the amount I owed, but Bennett and his manager were able to get it cleared up and explain to me what went wrong. I really appreciated that the manager called me later that day to make sure I understood what happened. Overall, great experience!

We had an excellent move with them. The movers were very cautious with our things and we were very impressed by how quickly and easily they moved our furniture. The one item they had to disassemble was put back together perfectly in our new house. All together the entire move was completed including travel and reassembly in 3 1/2 hours. Price was reasonable for the amount of work they did and the care they took with our furniture and boxes. The quote we received was accurate and the company was excellent at communicating with us and was exactly on time. We hired CMM to move our business to a new location. HIGHLY RECOMMEND their services!! Our experience was amazing from the moment I picked up the phone. Mackenzie was so kind and got me a super accurate quote very quickly. The booking process was easy and straightforward and they were able to accommodate us during a little bit of a time crunch. On moving day, our 3 movers were actually 15 minutes early (which I couldn't have loved more) and not only were they all super kind, they were super fast + efficient and our move was done in under the time quoted. We love this company!! I used them last year when I moved to the Twin Cities from out of state and then yesterday when we moved to a new apartment. Every time I work with them, the men are incredibly polite and kind. They make sure they have everything wrap/packed to our standards and took care with all of our belongings. Our apartment management messed up some of the time slots we had reserved things, which caused a time delay on our end. Matt and Teo were so patient and understanding about it. I had a great experience with College Muscle Movers when I moved today. The two movers that were sent out were both very polite and nice. We had a hard time getting the box spring into the bedroom and they made it work by taking off a door and doing some light shoving after I gave them the ok to shove. They made sure to wrap everything I had and asked me where they should put everything. One of my movers said he has been a mover for 5 years and was a bit "older" than college age. I could tell that the younger mover was new to doing it. He still did a great job though!

I've been a customer with CMM since 2016. They helped with a difficult move after divorce and I've been storing there for 5 years. Once I moved to a studio, they came and loaded my extra stuff on to one of their boxes on the truck for storage. EASY PEASY!! And when you need your items, they will deliver to new address. Great in an emergency, super communicative, and knowledgeable. We called these guys when All my Sons movers crapped out on us. College Muscle Movers should up on a Monday afternoon with 2 hours notice. They were able to move our whole 2 bedroom house with 2 guys. They were super polite. The lead mover was very communicative and clearly had a lot of experience moving. They were more expensive than we wanted - but we called as an emergency move so their pricing was in line with the amount of notice I gave them. One of our antique plates broke in the move but the lead mover pointed it out right away and apologized. Very professional - these things happen in a move. I would recommend College muscle movers to anyone moving in St. Paul/Minneapolis area.

Moving is rarely fun, add in moving in MN around the holidays in winter and you have a recipe for a potentially horrible experience. Then you contact College Muscle Movers and suddenly it's not the nightmare you expected! Wowza! Amazing young professionals! Great energy, organized, and very good at communicating everything from start to finish! They are under appreciated! I love the youthful energy and the love and care they have for us, themselves and our stuff and property! We had a local move. I have moved with a moving company before and this by far has been the best experience for me and my family. I can’t stress how much better it is for myself to do my side of the work in terms of moving preparation, which can be tedious but worth it: list a complete inventory of items, make a schedule for yourself, packing and labeling items before the move, labeling items even if they don’t have a box, decluttering beforehand, emptying out freezer chests and dressers (don’t make a dresser or furniture item heavy for your movers), check in with apartments and reserve or get parking spots approved (so important), and budget a grand or hundred dollars more just in case things don’t work out! From trial and error from our previous move, this time, we made sure to plan better from our part! My 17 month old took a nap between 12:30pm to 2:30pm and our muscle movers were so quiet, she slept through the entire move! We live in a thin wall apartment so I was shocked! We are so grateful and blessed by our movers. We learned their stories and their aspirations for their future. We pray and hope the best for them. Great communication, put care into our furniture, on time, start time: 12:45pm Done: a little before 4:45pm, followed Covid 19 rules, quick and efficient. I would hire them again!

Called in advance to move a 1 bedroom apartment. Movers were great. Both times. Not everything happened according to plan (on both sides). It ended up taking more than 1 move, but in the end, we were moved out on time and these guys didnt leave us hanging, even when I wasnt the nicest guy to the office staff. I've chosen College Muscle Movers as our commercial movers of choice for 3 moves in the last 5 years. I've found their team to be trusted partners in strategizing around the most cost-efficient ways to take on complicated multi-step relocations, including not only the "typical" movement of office furniture and boxes but also the disassembly/reassembly of warehouse racking and shelves as well as split shipments between multiple end-points. We've consistently come in at or under our budget and haven't had a damaged piece along the way! Whether it's a single mover helping out with couriering pallets or a team of ten with a couple trucks making a big push to get things done, I've been impressed with the hard work and professionalism they exhibit. Additionally, we've used College Muscle's warehouse as long-term storage for some of our pallets that we don't need to regularly access. Their monthly/daily pricing is fair and accessibility in the St. Paul Midway area can't be beat. Having their operations team available to pull a pallet for us and have it ready and waiting when we need it (or loaded on one of their trucks and delivered) meets a need we have with limited staff and warehouse space and feels like an extension of our team.

My experience was absolutely amazing. Jesus Soto and Matt B were miracle workers. I dont typically leave reviews for companies, but College Movers wow'ed me so much that I feel I need to, so that others can share in the same experience. Moving is stressful to begin with, and we were moving from another state, which made it even more hectic. I reached out for a quote on Yelp and received a response the same night. I was a little busy with my new job and failed to respond, so they politely reached out again a few days later to see if I had an questions. It was at that time that I knew I wanted to work with them. I got in touch with Mackenzie in their scheduling department who could not have been quicker to respond, more knowledgable, or more kind. I will include that she had me complete a quote worksheet asking me to list the items and boxes that we had to move which I found a little tedious and, quite frankly, an annoying task, at first, but it turned out it didnt take that long as was extremely beneficial in developing an accurate quote. On the day of the move, Dan and his crew met my husband at the POD storage site where they could not have been more patient (as we were having some issues getting our PODS). Once we got them, they were extremely fast, delicate and kind throughout the whole process. We had our stuff wrapped but they went the extra mile by using some of their own furniture pads for additional protection. I was so incredibly anxious and nervous for using my first moving company but College Movers literally could not have done anything better. Thank you all sooooo much!!

Just used CMM again for the third time in three years (once for my mom, once for my stepmom and now for my husband and me) and, once again, they knocked it out of the park. The two previous times we used them were child's play compared to this service. Two months before our move, we had scheduled them for a same day move out/move in (moving from a townhouse to a house we are remodeling). Two DAYS before the move, I called to see if they could store our stuff for a few days because some major things weren't going to be done in time. They rolled with it, gave me an estimate (much less than I fretted it would be) and couldn't have been more helpful and calm (which was exactly what I needed in my panicked state). Then, two days before they were supposed to deliver, I had to again call them to ask them to store our stuff even longer because our contractors STILL didn't have our kitchen and bathroom ready. Once again, they calmed my fears and let me know that we could postpone again. Finally, this past Sunday, we had everything delivered. Believe me, the place we moved into was far from an ideal place to bring the TWO trucks full of stuff into because we still have a ton of construction equipment and stuff in the basement, but they got it all in and did it with great, friendly attitudes. I felt bad because there was so much to bring in and so much chaos, but they just rolled with it. The whole crew was great - on both ends of the move. Better yet, they came in under budget! Not just under the revised budget that included storing our stuff, but under the ORIGINAL budget that didn't include storage (even though they had stored our stuff for over two weeks AND we were less than organized for this move!). I just can't say enough good things about this company. Great estimator, great leads and great crews! I have recommended them to several people and the ones that did end up using them were just as happy as we've been with them. Thanks, guys, for making a stressful situation as easy as you could have!

Just saw their truck 2 years after we moved into our house and were reminded what a phenomenal experience we had. Prompt, professional and very fast and efficient. We had them unload a rental truck that we packed and drove from out of state. It took us about 3 days to pack. We got here and it was 100 degrees and humid. With two movers joining me and my wife, we unloaded it in 1:45. They were very careful, but also so fast that they beat the time quoted and lowered the price accordingly! Who does that!? They were more affordable than competitors due to no multiple hour time requirement (we had a large item we needed to be moved a short distance) and their straightforward fees. CMM saved us!!! My husband and I recently moved out of state. We had to be out of our apartment a couple weeks before we hit the road for our big move. I'm a penny pincher, so our original plan was to rent a trailer and move our stuff into a storage unit temporarily. We had a pretty tight timeline the day of and I am sooooo glad we looked into CMM because I don't think we would have made it otherwise! It saved us so much time and energy and ended up breaking even financially with our original DIY plan. Rather than getting a trailer, loading it ourselves, making multiple trips, and returning the trailer, our stuff was efficiently loaded into 2 vaults in one swoop. Those guys (well, one guy and one gal...girl power!) hustled. It was the best feeling to wave goodbye to the truck knowing everything was taken care of. Now just the thought of a storage unit makes me cringe (carts, elevators, long hallways, back-and-forth to car, multiple trips between the apartment, stacking everything just right, minimum of 1 month rent, etc.) CMM's service was fast, efficient affordable, and professional. I cannot recommend them enough!!!

I am the new owner of my family’s glass-front antique hutch & drop-leaf dining room table, 4 chairs, & 2 additional table leaves.Two young gentlemen packed it carefully at my Aunts home, carrying it down a tight flight of stairs, placed it where I was storing it until ready for use-before transporting the set they removed and wrapped the glass front from the cabinet-also wrapped was the top part of the hutch (which was removed for transport), the top of the hutch base & the tabletop. On one chair was a drawing of how it was needing to be repaired (I was aware of this, but this artwork is thoughtful and very detailed!! As a Mom, I appreciated it!!) These young men were courteous, quick, on time and speedy!!! I will use them again in the future, and recommend them to anyone who asks!!

I have never used a moving company before and was nervous about the whole process based on some horror stories I have heard from different people. After reading some reviews online about College Muscle Movers and speaking to a friend in the moving business I felt comfortable enough to try CMM to see how it goes. The initial move out from my old apartment went very well, but to my surprise my new apartment wasn't ready and I had to see about having my stuff stored in the moving truck overnight and re-delivered the next day. With it being the holiday weekend and the last weekend of the month, CMM was booked solid. Sherlock and Alex volunteered to unload my stuff after hours! Customer service is so important these days and the guys really went above and beyond! The whole move went so very well and I have nothing but good things to say! Sherlock and Alex did such a GREAT job! They were both very professional and friendly! I would highly recommend CMM and will definitely use them in the future!
