I just had a team from Michael Brooks Moving move my couch into my new apartment. Setting up the delivery was hassle-free, even when I scheduled the delivery around the holidays, I got a prompt response. The moving team was quick, efficient, and careful of the other furniture in my apartment when moving the couch in, unlike some other moving services I've used in the past. The team was also very friendly and interested in how I was setting up my apartment. I definitely recommend these guys if you're looking to move anything!

We highly recommend Michael Brooks Moving Company. We used them to move a commercial grade fitness machine into our basement. Chris was extremely professional and easy to work with. We were quickly able to determine an agreed upon date and time. Chris called when they were heading our way. Chris and his team were very efficient in figuring out the best way to move this 388 lb piece of equipment. We couldn't believe how quickly they got the machine down the steep bulkhead steps into our basement! If you need a big heavy piece of exercise equipment moved, save your back and call Michael Brooks Moving.

We moved from a 2300 sq ft house to a new house across the state in mid November. The experience we had with Michael Brooks was very professional and efficient from the visit for the quote to the wrap up at the new house. Michael did a great job examining our possessions to give an accurate quote (several local movers I called wouldn't even do that), and gave advice on how to pack. The team of 5 showed up on time on moving day, were extremely courteous and professional, and worked incredibly efficiently. Everything was moved quickly, with no loss or damage. I hope to not move any time soon, but if I do I would definitely use Michael Brooks Moving.

Called the folks at Michael Brooks moving from a recommendation we had - and we could not have been happier with it. Chris made a visit early on to quote the move, providing plenty of great recommendations along the way. On the day of the move Kris, Jake, and Zach were very efficient, and took the care at each step to plan so nothing gets broken. They made it look so easy; even gave us some recommendations on how to repair some old furniture we had! All in all, I wouldn't consider moving with anyone else at this stage - they have the knowledge, care, and professionalism to take care of my house any day.

This was an excellent experience! I previously used a different moving company that charged me the same amount for much fewer items. Chris and his team came to my house, took a quick assessment of where everything was and went straight to work. The guys were able to move items that the previous company had to take apart (namely my treadmill) without leaving any dings on the place. When they got to my new house, they took extra care to bring in everything with complete regard for the new paint job I had just had done. Not one mark was made! They did such a wonderful job! I've overseen more than 10 moves over 45 years, and never seen packing on this level. These guys are the best I've ever seen. You look at your stuff and wonder how it will all fit, and somehow they MAKE it fit. They spent the entire 4-hr appointment working hard, in the pouring rain, with no breaks and no personal cell phone calls like I've experienced with packers on other moves. This was a really capable crew, carefully vetted by owner Michael Brooks. I'll definitely be hiring them again for future moves.

From the time that I contacted Michael Brooks Moving for an estimate to our moving date, Michael and his assistant were professionals. Our estimate was provided at the time of our site visit which was extremely reasonable. Moving day, Brooks showed up on time and ready to work. Our office & shed were carefully packed and we were on our way to our way in no time. Unpacking the truck was done quickly and all of our office furniture was placed it their perspective offices. We recently moved to New Hampshire after being in our home for 37 years. We hired Michael & his crew after seeing their trucks on the highway, as we had no idea who to hire. It was one of the best decisions we made in regards to our move. Michael came to our house, walked around with us to see how much furniture we had, gave us suggestions about how to pack things up. He came back again right before our moving day to make sure that we were ready! His crew arrived on time & were done in 3 hours! Not bad for a 10 room house. They were all so polite & professional & friendly & worked well with each other. Michael stored our furniture overnight & moved us into our new home the next day. I have made my share of moves that were anything but a pleasant experience. MICHAEL BROOKS MOVING WAS AWESOME! The person that estimated our house for a move was friendly and professional. Moving day came and the crew showed up on time, were happy and pleasant. They loaded up our belongings and moved us to Maine without any issues and nothing was broken. They packed us up and moved us in less than 5 hours. I gave the company 5 stars because there was no option to leave more. I highly recommend this company.

These guys saved our butts and really restored our faith in moving companies. So, we had already had a popular franchise moving company booked weeks in advance for our move, but as the day approached, we heard there was supposed to be a huge Nor'easter happening on moving day. I desperately tried to get ahold of our scheduled company to talk about bumping the move up a day earlier but couldn't get ahold of *anyone*. But sheer dumb luck I happened to call Michael Brooks and explained our situation and he moved things around to help us out. But not only that, he took the initiative to call us twice later that week as the Big Day approached, with different days and times that could work better, finally settling on the morning of the day before the big storm. I fired my original moving company. The guys showed up promptly and they were very polite and personable and they *hustled*. They arrived before the scheduled 8am time and even though our new place was 40 minutes away and across state lines, we were all moved in by 10am. A short while after the move, Michael Brooks called to touch base and ask how everything went, and we couldn't be happier. We would 100% use them again and they truly go above and beyond with communication, flexibility and professionalism.

We recently had a pretty good size move. I have had great experiences with other companies so it was hard to try someone else. I met with Mike Brooks a few times and based on pier recommendations and his presentations, we decided to go with Mike Brooks. In the end we were very satisfied and very happy with Mike Brooks and his crew. I believe his foreman was Chris. He made everything run smooth and without incident. What set Mike Brooks and Chris aside was the organization of the move. We separated it into to 2 separate moves. A basement move with the "get to later stuff", and then the furniture and clothes move for the rest of the house. Very efficient. I have no hesitation recommending Mike Brooks moving company. Great company! They arrived early and started working immediately and got all my items in the truck within an hour. I searched a long time to find a reliable and affordable moving company. I paid $675 for 4 hours of moving which is much more affordable than other places that were quoting me for $1500 (which I cant afford). Michael personally assisted in planning and coordinating the move to my destination, delivering both to a house and storage unit. Victor was able to get everything organized and between them both were able to PACK the storage unit so we didnt need to rent another. This is a big buckle on their belt. Did our second move with Michael Brooks Moving today and it went perfectly. Jim, Jimmy, and Alex helped us move from a 2-bedroom apartment on the third floor to a single family home. They were punctual (15 minutes early, actually!), polite, fast, and careful - everything you'd want. They disassembled and reassembled some of our furniture for us. Not a single scratch on any of our stuff and we even moved in the winter with snow on the ground. The owner, Michael, was prompt at returning phone calls, was pleasant to work with, and gave us a confirmation call prior to our move. The price was also by far the most affordable in the area and there were no extra, hidden fees. The price Michael quoted me was the exact price I paid. I used Michael Brook’s Moving twice: once to move my house-hold belongings and the other a valued musical instrument. In both cases did I find the movers professional, skilled at their jobs, and responsive to my requirements. They took care of my belongings in the best way possible, and were able to move furniture beyond tight corners and difficult spaces without marking the wall or furniture. We used Michael Brooks Moving on 12/04/2020. The whole moving experience with them was flawless. We had to cancel 2 weeks prior due to a scheduling change. We were scheduled right back in when we needed. They arrived promptly in Salem, NH to load. They were polite and efficient and friendly (nice guys). Drove to East Hampstead, NH and got us unloaded without a hitch. I have used them before and would not hesitate to use them again.

Absolutely amazing! Not only were the movers fast and officiant, they were extremely friendly and funny! My fiance and I just purchased our first house and Mr. Brooks made the transition into our new home so easy. He requested that upon his arrival that all small things be boxed up already to save time, which i thought was a very simple request. He explained that having everything boxed would help make the process move quicker and possibly bring down the cost of the move, which was true! Once we arrived at our new home, mr. Brooks and his two other movers made sure to handle our furniture with care and made sure everything went in the correct room. The owner calls 24 hours in advance to confirm everything & when he says the crew will be there at 7:45 they are there. Michael and his staff were very professional and I appreciated working with them. Mike came to our house and gave me a quote. once his team showed up, we did a walk through and they were very nice and friendly. The day ended up taking much longer than I was quoted and they were not able to get all of our stuff on both trucks. Michael contacted me after his team left and told me that he felt bad that he was so far off on his quote and he told me that he would come out the next morning and get the rest of our stuff and deliver it to our new home. I thought this was a great show of character and I respected it a lot. I would definitely use them again and recommend everyone use him.

I can't say enough good things about this company. With all the horror stories you hear out there about moving companies, I was hesitant about who I chose to move my family. Michael came to my house to look at what I needed moved and gave me the estimate. He was very nice and straight to the point to what he thought I would need for the move. I had three guys come move me and I can't say enough good things about them. When they got there they all introduced themselves and we did a walk around to see what they were moving. Then they jumped in and just got to it. I am horrible with names but the main guy was very respectful and did an excellent job packing all of my stuff in the truck. The other two guys just kept working and even though on the unload it was raining really hard they kept plugging away at it. I have nothing but good things to say about them. Very hard workers and moved all my stuff from a three bedroom apartment in six hours start to finish. If you are moving call Michael.

Michael Brooks Moving is as good as it gets. Hand on heart, I have moved 28 times in my lifetime - so I think I have a good baseline for what makes a moving company great: reliability, talent and professionalism. First of all, Michael Brooks is a rockstar. He could not have been more reliable. First of all, Michael met with us twice before our move, to map out the plan and make packaging arrangements - and he was there when he said he'd be there! Not to mention the day of pickup, as well as the day of delivery (we were an out of state move). As far as talent goes, his team was top notch! They were not just your average Joes, looking to make an extra buck. You could tell from the get go that the crew Michael assembled had been moving for years. And boy did they look good doing it! Uniforms and all. All in all, a very professional outfit that did what they committed to do, for the money we agreed upon, at the time it needed to be done. I would recommend Michael Brooks Moving to anyone for any size move! And I would use them again without a second thought.

Mike and his team were spot on! I commissioned them to move my 800 pound large safe from the sea coast to my new home in the Manchester area.the first time i spoke to mike on the phone to set up the appointment he was very knowledgeable about how these types of moves go and I knew he was the guy for the job. On the day of the appointment he kept me informed of the time he was leaving and the time he would arrive ,matter of fact he was at the pick up address before I was! He and his team carefully extracted the safe from the first residence with ease and had all the proper equipment to safely work with such a heavy object. upon arrival at my new residence they already had a game plane about how to get it down the stairs into the lower level of my house exactly where I wanted it. He took two doors off of the hinges to help with clearance due to the safe being so large to make the move inside of the house and when he was done getting it into the basement he carefully put both the doors back on. Thesafe and both houses didn’t have a scratch on them what so ever. I would highly recommend mike and his team to do any moving needs I have in the future!

This moving company has been great. They fit us in on a tight schedule and packing everything moved it to our storage unit. A few months later they moved us back in the apartment. Everything was packed and stored with care and nothing was broken. They do charge a 3% markup if you use a credit card but they are up front about that. I would highly recommend these movers

The team was timely, curteous, and obviously experienced. The job was moving from a large apartment in Andover MA to a house in Hollis NH. They arrived at 8:00, and moved our heavy furniture (including an 8" Grandfather clock) and personal belongings down a long hall to a small elevator, to the truck. Everything arrived in perfect condition, and they were efficient in the unloading processes. The team was pleasant to work with, well trained, and I highly recommend the company. And. .the price was very good as well!
