We decided last minute to get movers for a local move, I had no knowledge about CBM prior to reaching out to see their availability. Not only were they able to get the job done Joey, Matt M. And Carter did an amazing job. Each was kind and polite anytime they were unsure they asked. They did a walk through both upon their arrival at both locations. They also went through making sure once everything was moved into our new house it was where we had asked them to move it. The movers themselves should get a 5. The only reason I’m not giving them 5 stars is the truck broke down in our driveway fully loaded. Luckily it was able to be restarted without having to get another truck, the compensation for the inconvenience of sitting for 90 min for it to get fixed wasn’t what I thought it should have been. Additionally when I booked it with Zach some of what was to be moved was left off the inventory list which left some items unable to be moved because there wasn’t enough room in the truck. That said I would HIGHLY recommend them, the movers were excellent it was the logistical issues that had me give a 4⭐️

I would recommend College Bound Movers to anyone. They were professional and caring. From the first telephone call to set-up a visit and estimate, to the end of the move and them leaving, they were fantastic. They were careful with all our belongings and asked questions of us concerning our belongings. I called numerous times to ask questions about how we should prepare our stuff and the questions were answered to make sure everything would go smoothly. The workers were great to deal with and very professional. Absolutely no problems and, like I already stated, I would recommend them to anyone. Very reasonably priced. A bargain for the service we got.

I cannot say enough about this wonderful moving company. From the moment I called and spoke to Zach, I knew I made the right decision. On 8/30/22, the day of the move, Brian, Shaun and Jack came. Tyler, Dante, and Shawn were awesome - they moved me out of my old house with a very tricky layout and into my new house in back to back days. I’ve never used a moving company before, and I’m glad I used these guys. They were quick and understanding when we had last minute stuff to pack, and they made a difficult move with a lot of stuff seem like a breeze. I had lots of expensive equipment to move, and it all came to the new house the same way it went in. Nothing was damaged and everything went smoothly. The guys were also great to have around for a move and were very respectful. I fully recommend using them!

I used College Bond Movers for a local move. My "crew" was Sebastian and Jay. Both were phenomenal!!! So professional, helpful and respectful of my home. They were able to get a HUGE dresser up to my second floor that two delivery guys twice their size told me couldn't be done. Super guys and so good at what they do ...would absolutely recommend!!

The team got there right at 7:30 and after a tour of the items to be moved, got started right away. From that moment on they didn’t stop. The team was polite and friendly. They helped our GC move a desk, which was definitely not part of their required duties. The paperwork was explained thoroughly both at the beginning and the end of the move. The final price matched the estimate 100%. In short – they were awesome! So much so, when I got home I told my husband when we are ready to move, we’ll be reaching out to College Bound Movers for sure.

Used CBM to move houses in June (finally had a moment to write this review) and could not have picked a better company! Organizing a quote was an easy process and the moving crew themselves were AMAZING! On time, very communicative, and professional. Thank you to Sebastian, Jay and Dante! You made moving so incredibly easy and enjoyable. 10/10 would recommend this moving crew. They are funny, professional, neat and very respectful of homeowners belongings. If I had any questions about how they would move an item they would take time to explain it to me. Only 1 item in the whole 1,750 sqft house was damaged: a cheap poster frame (no issue to replace and the contents of the frame was in perfect condition so I am going to chalk to up to bad luck no fault of the crew). Everything else made it intact with no damage so I call that a major success considering the sheer size of some pieces.

I called College Bound Movers on a Tuesday about scheduling time to move a heavy wood stove from our driveway into our home, and to move a heavy couch from the first floor of our home to the second floor (a feat I wasn't entirely sure would be possible!). By the end of the day, we had a plan for first thing Thursday morning (I thought we would have had to schedule weeks out!). Dan, Dakota, Dante and Andi arrived that morning and were friendly and very enthusiastic about what was asked of them. They worked together to problem solve and were able to successfully maneuver the items I needed moved without so much as a scratch to any of my walls or doorways.

Update March 2023, used them again for another multi state move to move back to New Hampshire and this also went flawlessly, Elvis and his crew were fantastic as all my previous experiences have been with them and glad I get to continue recommending them. This was my second move with College Bound Movers and both of them have gone flawlessly, specifically this one was a move 2 states away, the crew showed up right on time at 8 am was friendly and prompt, and even with a 2.5 hour drive time had everything placed in my new apartment by 1:30 pm with nothing damaged. Highly recommend choosing these guys for your moving needs and for how far my move was it was very reasonably priced as well. A+

We used College bound movers twice in the past month while we had work Done on our house and had to store furniture during that time . Both times was excellent. We had a 2 person crew the first time who were wonderful and courteous. This time we had a three person crew , Brian , Palmer , and Andy who were also fantastic! These days it seems there is a lot of not so great work. NOT HERE . These guys were AMAZING. Nice , personable, polite , hardworking and I would highly recommend them to anyone! THANK YOU!

No one likes to move, but CBM does a great job at a very reasonable price. Honestly its the best money you will ever spend. Saves time and your back. I have used them several times over the years and they are always fantastic. I just moved this weekend and Sebastian, Jay & Dante were tremendous. Its was 95 degrees out and these guys worked hard without complaint. They helped take a door off to get a huge desk up a flight of stairs and were never complained once. Noah in the front office is always great to work with as well. You wont regret hiring CBM.

When moving day came we were understandably nervous but from the moment the team showed up we felt at ease. They were experts on how to pack things, what should be packed first and were so personable. We were moving three hours away and they were with us every step of the way. Once we got to our new home they offered suggestions of where to place things, helped me move furniture after I had changed my mind of where to place things, and made the whole experience lighthearted. Everything was explained to us at each step of the process and there were no surprises including extra charges. If you need a mover, I would highly recommend CBM. They showed up early in the morning at 7:30am, came into my apartment and evaluated the situation. The three men made my move go verily easily and they were very careful with all my furniture and handled everything including all the boxes I had packed. This is my 3rd move with College Bound Movers. Nick and David were excellent. Arriving within the time window, they were down a team member due to illness, it didn't matter. They handled my items with care and were very efficient. The loading took about an hour, from the second floor bedroom where everything was stored to the drive way 3 stories down (2nd floor>1st floor>driveway level with basement floor). The unloading was into a 1st floor storage unit which took about a half hour. Including the travel time, the move fit into the window they estimated with a half hour to spare. Thank You! Thank You! Thank You! If I ever have to move again you are first on my list! And I will always recommend College Bound Movers as a first choice in moving.

Hello, I just used College Bound Movers for a local move. The crew was Sebastian, Dante, and Jay. Now just to put it in its right focus, I have moved dozens of times over the past years, so this is not something that I am unfamiliar with. I am not one to throw around unwarranted praise. Having said this, these 3 guys were absolutely fantastic. They were friendly, they were professional, and they were very fast and efficient, in getting the job done. They even called me about 45 minutes before they arrived, to give me an exact arrival time. I estimated the job would take between 8-9 hours. They were done in a little over 3. To get to the new apartment, they had to walk up 20 stairs and then walk down a long corridor. And watching them was amazing. They were each carrying 3 large boxes at a time, heavy couches, bureaus as if they were weightless. They didn't even stop for water, they just on going and going. Watching them made me tired. These 3 are easily the best movers I have ever dealt with. Next Year I am planning to move again, and I already told Sebastian that I want to definitely use him, Dante, and Jay for that move. Thank You again, guys, A very satisfied customer.

We actually had a really small move (daughter moving out and moving 5 minutes away). So we asked them to help us with moving some furniture within the house for us and they were GREAT!!!! I can not thank College Bound Movers enough. In July we needed them to move our house into storage while our new house was being built. Kyle, Palmer and Joey did an incredible job. We had heavy, large furniture and a curved staircase to the first floor. No damage to any walls or my hardwood floors. January 14th we hired them again and Sebastian, Kyle and Jay cleared the storage unit and brought it all to our new house with incredible efficiency and care. They were so polite and professional. WE hired College Bound Movers to load our furniture and boxes into the UPack containers. Jack and David were AWESOME! They arrived on time, were professional and personable. They had to play Tetris with our furniture (2 bedroom apartment), but they got it all to fit and had room to add some boxes we thought we would have to put in our vehicles. College Bound Movers came highly recommended to me by a coworker, so I thought I would give them a try. Noah and all the people at College Bound Movers were helpful from day 1, when I contacted them for an estimate a couple months before my move. When details of my move date and address were still up in the air, they continued to be patient and responsive to questions. On the day of the move, I had 3 movers come with a big truck to move me from a 2 bedroom apartment to a 1 bedroom apartment. Even though I wasn't fully packed, they worked around me packing in the middle of my living room. All of the workers were diligent, friendly, and professional. They worked quickly and efficiently, and it was clear that they were experienced and careful moving heavy furniture. They made my move as smooth as it could possibly be. We hired College Bound Movers to move a lot of office furniture, and they were polite, professional, and quick. It's obvious that they really know their trade, (e.g. how to get around tight corners, efficiently packing a shipping container, moving heavy rickety furniture without it falling apart...) Also, we called at 3pm when they were scheduled to come at 7:30 the next morning and asked them to reschedule. They were able to accommodate our last minute request, and give us the two extra days we needed to prepare. Overall, we are very satisfied with the job.

My husband and I were scheduled to move on Saturday 11/20/21. The College Bound Movers team of four arrived first thing in the morning with two trucks, and immediately got to work. They were efficient and extremely careful with our furniture especially fragile items such as our piano. We were most impressed with how they handled our Storage bed. It was too big to go through the door way. One of the crewmembers literally took the bed apart to pieces and built it back together perfectly. We recommend CBM highly.

The movers had the estimate and the job was easier than the estimate so they stretched it out and took a lot of breaks. I’m disabled but my wife would bring boxes out when they were goofing off to motivate them to work. My daughters queen bed was set up and we thought they would put it back together at our new place which they did not. I called to complain about it, spoke to a sales rep who said he would have the general manager call us the next day which never happened. We put the bed together ourselves. We have used College Movers in the past with 5 star treatment. Not the case this time.

Generally speaking, moving is a stressful, difficult and unenjoyable experience. Our recent move was all of those things, but made easier by the College Bound Movers "Dream Team" of Joey, Nick, Cody and Marco. Huge kudos to these guys for their professionalism and just getting the job done on what was a difficult move, made even more challenging bc the relocation specialist did a lousy job of estimating the move, leaving the moving team with far more work than what was expected (that relocation specialist no longer works for the company). As soon as Joey recognized the extent of the move, he immediately called in reinforcements and despite my doubts, through it all these guys were fantastic. Within the first hour it was clear they had it handled. They were able to pivot and change course when necessary and every item was safely moved into our new home. They kept our furniture well-protected and navigated some tight spaces with skill making sure our items didn't get damaged. I do feel the main office should have better communication and follow-through since there were times I still felt in the dark about what was going on and what to expect, but despite that, I would still recommend College Bound Movers, especially the "Dream Team".

I had requested quotes from more than 15 local companies but decided to go with College Bound because they returned my call promptly and provided a quote the first time we spoke without giving me the runaround, and it came to less than every single other quote I had received to that point. On the day of the move, I was assisted by Elvis and John. They showed up on time, were very professional and extremely nice. I was impressed by how they immediately got down to business when they got to my apartment and moved everything into the truck a lot quicker than I had expected. For a company that charges by the hour, I’ll be honest I was expecting them to maybe drag their feet a little bit for some extra dough, but I couldn’t have been more wrong. They did the job so fast, and they both had smiles on their faces the entire time, even though it was 97 degrees outside. It was unbearably hot, even in the shade but it didn’t seem to even slow these dudes down. I will be recommending this company in the future to anyone moving but beyond that, I will tell them to ask for both Elvis and John. These guys absolutely rocked! They were professional and safe with all my furniture. The office was friendly and well managed up through most of the transaction. However, the movers never put down a 'time left office' or a 'time returned to office' on my receipt. I didn't do the math at the time, trusting them to charge me appropriately. Instead I was charged 4 hours for a 2.5 hour job (3 hours min, which I understood). While I understand there's travel time, that's obviously not right. After several emails and a call, I was refunded half an hour (charged for 3.5 hours), implying that it took a whole hour to drive from the office (in Nashua) to my house (also in Nashua) and from the storage unit (Nashua) back to their office. A quick google search shows the total driving time from my locations to their office to be about 15 minutes. Maybe there was some additional travel time, but I doubt it was half an hour. However, I can't really contest this because the movers didn't put any times down on my bill. I took the half-hour refund because clearly they need the money more than I do, but don't trust them to properly charge you. Make sure they put those numbers down and verify the travel times with the team. At a rate of 140/hour, that can be a pricey 'mistake'.

On the other end they moved it into a very tight and challenging hallway/ door/room combination. Good to see folks not afraid of hard work!!!!! We had a 26 ft long rental truck filled with our household furniture and miscellaneous items. Kyle H and Cody E, were the 2 movers who were assigned to load the truck and put it in a storage unit. We rented a 10X20 ft unit and I honestly did not think that it would fit all the pieces we had. When I expressed my concern to Kyle, he said "not to worry", that it would all fit. And he was correct. It did all fit with about 10 inches to spare. Both Kyle and Cody were very professional, and very efficient and took a lot of care to gently move fragile items. Based on my experience, we will now hire them to load the contents when our new home is ready to move into at the end of April Would highly recommend them to anyone. I could not say enough great things about our experience with the company. My wife and I used these guys to move into our first home, and from the first call to the last box unloaded, everything was smooth like jazz. Paul was extremely friendly and incredibly helpful on the phone. He answered all my questions and sold me on exactly the level of services required. Even after we booked the date and paid the deposit, any question or concern I emailed to Paul was answered promptly. On moving day, we watched as 3 absolute machines, named Sebastian, Chris and Chris, emptied the apartment, drove to the new house, and unloaded everything to where we asked for it in about 3 hours total. If it turned out they were cybernetically enhanced or had been experimented on by aliens to reach such levels of skill and work ethic, I would t be surprised. I only hope no scientists see this review and try to kidnap them for experiments. Good luck trying that though, as these guys are quick, careful, and clearly enjoy what they are doing. They had a fantastic attitude and banter throughout the entire progress. Well worth the money to have the entire moving process be an absolute breeze for myself and my wife. We just moved my mother from a single family home to a condo. The morning of the move things were still a little hectic at the house, not everything organized and ready, but EZ, Julio and Joey were patient, kind and very professional. They had everything safely in the truck in a little over an hour. Transferring from the truck to the condo was much harder as the elevator would not accommodate most furniture and the new condo was on the second floor. I had called around to a few moving companies and had a hard time getting a hold of a few, while others were not very friendly or were over priced. College Bound was by far the most professional and thorough right from the start. Mike was helpful and prompt with his estimate. On the day of the move, Oakley, Burrus and Joslin were friendly and focused right from the start. They were very respectful of the home, belongings and all of the family members that were around to help me out. I had expected to have more of the move done ahead of time but was not able to get it done. They worked so efficiently that they were able to keep the cost at the original estimate. The three men who packed our moving van did a great job. My only complaint was that they were supposed to arrive between 11 and 1 and they did not show up until 4. UPDATE: Shortly after posting this review, I received a call from the president of the company. He apologized and explained the individual I had called and emailed has been on military leave during those dates and my messages have not been received. He offered to refund the coverage plan and cover the cost of fixing our equipment. This has warranted a change in review from a previous 2-star to a 4-star. I have used CBM on two occasions for work-related in-office moves. The first move was fine, no issues to report. The second move, on June 9 was simple, one item. I informed them ahead of time that the item was VERY heavy and they would need a dolly of sorts to move it, even though it was only going from one exam room to another down the hall. They did NOT follow this recommendation, instead lifting the item by hand and when setting it down, snapped off a critical piece, rendering the equipment inoperable. They gave us the option to add accident coverage at that time and now, after the 3 hour minimum, the cost of the coverage which I'm told was $179 but isn't written down anywhere and the $250 deductible we will have to pay to use this coverage to fix the item, we will now be out over $800. $800 to move ONE piece of equipment. I have contacted the company by phone and email and it has been over two weeks with no response. Very poor customer service, would not recommend.

I have used CBM the last few times I have moved. Office staff is professional and responsive. Bryce, the sales mgr always responded quickly to any questions I had. The only reason I'm giving them 4 stars instead of 5, is because the "closer", the guy who finalizes the deal, his name was Chris, was quite rude to me, when I couldn't give him a yes or no immediately. There were 3 guys who came to move me. all were vey polite and introduced themselves. They were a few minutes late, based on the timeframe given to me. But they immediately got to work. They were very quick and had everything loaded up in about 35 mins. They drove straight to the new place and got right to work. There was some furniture left by the previous owner and they moved all of that furniture out of the way and put some out in the shed. But the MOST IMPRESSIVE thing was that they managed to get an oversized chair, through a very small doorway, with no damage to the chair or door jam. I would definitely recommend.

This is the second time in one year that I’ve used Collegebound. This years crew was much better than last years. They were friendly, polite and attentive. Last years crew chief was stressed from the word go, constantly worried about getting back before a certain time, forgot the washer /dryer at the house, really upset when they had to go back, etc. This year, significantly better. With that said, my intake person at the end of the phone arranging my move grossly misunderstood or misrepresented, and I was undercharged for my move. I was NOT sent an inventory list, nor was there a home visit to verify how much was to be moved. Only two movers were sent and none of the boxes I asked them to bring were on the truck. They had to call to get another body, as well as to say this is more than was quoted and I was informed that I would have to pay more. I then spoke to the field agent who was LESS than customer focused and even went so far as to say that, “ if they got every detail of what was being moved, they would screen themselves out of business because the price was too high.” And there it was! The person over him DID work with me, and I agreed to pay a bit more because I knew well that I was grossly misquoted to begin with. The guys showed up at 8 AM and didn’t pull out of the new address until 9 PM! Long day. I was not informed ahead of time that they could take certain things like flower planters or cleaning liquids. So I had to go back for those the next day. I will say too that they were not as careful with boxes as other moving companies I’ve used like Gentle Giant. Things that I packed well, came through broken. I haven’t unpacked everything so I don’t know to what extent... but I’ve found a few things broken already. I can only anticipate more. They also left both handtrucks here by mistake, and must know that since they’re clearly missing from their truck, but haven’t come back for them! I know of an expensive large cutting mat that never made it off their truck... maybe it’s an even trade! Not sure if I’d use them again. I’d really have to ponder that.
