She even gave specific directions on how to get to my unit and helpful information about how to use the gate and key for my unit. After speaking to a Representative about what I should do with my ever-growing storage situation, I contemplated leaving Extra Space and giving another company a chance with my business. This was because I was made to feel as if my questions about how to resolve my particular situation were burdensome to the Rep on the other end of the phone. That all changed when it was suggested that I call another location and speak with Misty. Which I did. And that lady is top-notch. Right person for that job, no doubt. Easily retained a customer and resolved my situation. If it wasn’t against social norms…I would probably call with other non-storage related problems I may encounter in an attempt to remedy those just as easily.

Our experience was amazing. I called the number online and the regional office then sent a request to my local Extra Space Storage rep. Within minutes I got a call from Misty who set me up with an appointment within a few hours. Went and saw the facility and was impressed. I have used this facility for 8 years. 2 units 1 climate controlled and 1 regular. Yesterday I went to check on one of my units and discovered I could not find keys. Pat was working and was amazing in attempting to cut out old locks to replace with new. Her tools weren’t doing their job, so I ran home to get mine. 5 minutes from returning to storage units, she called and her husband had come and gotten them both off. Thank you so much! Very friendly staff, secure storage area that is also climate controlled if that is needed. Gated with the security code at the entrance. You’ll need to buy a lot from them that fits their particular kind of door if you don’t already have your own. Automatic payment can be set up and canceling was super easy. Highly recommended.

Required insurance, admin fees, and lock fees were frustrating. Expect your first payment to be at least $50 more than the unit price you see online. Also insurance is required so additional monthly fees will be applied as well.

With all the stress going on in the world I find it especially important to make it known when someone goes above and beyond in their jobs. I have spent the better half of a month trying to facilitate a move for my mother. I have talked to countless movers, storage places, and people I need to make this all possible. My stress level is unbelievable, so when I find a kind and patient person in all this craziness, I like to let others know. I had the pleasure of working with Misty from your company, and am grateful for the experience. She was knowledgeable, patient, and kind. Haven't been with them long but I will say sign up and check in was a easy as well. They were in constant contact with me till I was moved in. Only reason I gave it 4 stars is bc the layout is a little funky and some of the spots can be tricky to get in. Only time will tell if the stars go up or down.

Misty has been very helpful from the get-go. We selected our first site then discovered we were uncomfortable with how our motorhome fit in the space. Misty immediately helped us secure a longer space while also keeping us on the waiting list for a covered space. As soon as a covered space became available Misty contacted us to give us first chance at it. I had rented from another storage facility a few years back and found this one to be better in price, quality, and staff professionalism. Stella, the manager was great at making sure that everything was closed out when I vacated the property and got me a timely refund for the prorated amount without any questions. It was a busy day for them but they stopped to make sure I had a lightbulb because I had to work late into the night. Corey explained all of the options since I was a walk in, and presented both rate structures, which i did not know about, ultimately giving me a much lower monthly rate than I was aware of. But more than that, he was friendly, and helped me move my stuff into the unit. If you need storage space you could not ask for better people or service.

Assistant Store Managers Corey Booker and Bryan Carroll at the Blankenbaker Access Road location in Louisville were extremely helpful and courteou. The website was easy to navigate and helped me find an affordable and accessible location and just the right amount of storage space for my needs. Corey made the in-store new customer onboarding experience quick, easy and friendly. This facility is very clean and well maintained! A deal breaker for me at many storage facilities is water leakage from the roof, and poor site locations that have a high likelihood for potential flooding in the units. This location appears to be dry and well-constructed. The property is located near popular industrial park with nearby access to residential areas and I-64 in East Louisville. In addition to excellent security, Corey and his team are watchful of visitors and vehicles accessing the property, and on the lookout for unfamiliar visitors and vehicles, which greatly increased my comfort level. I would recommend this well-constructed facility in a convenient location, along with a friendly and professional staff, and reasonable rental rates, to anyone in the market for storage!
