Had an amazing experience moving with student movers! Mike's crew showed up on the early side of the time window I requested and were extremely quick and efficient. They were also very careful with my furniture and wrapped stuff very well for moving. We finished my whole move in less than 3 hours. Mike and the other person on the crew were extremely friendly, and I'd definitely recommend them and student movers to anyone looking to move! 10/10, great experience.

The moving service provided by Student Movers Inc. deserves five star! Highly recommend! The customer representative has been very responsive and professional. I asked some questions regarding quote, moving date and moving details and representative always answered my questions in time. They don’t overwhelm you with tons of emails and calls but you can still get the information you need from them. During moving, movers are the kindest movers I ever seen. Very polite and super professional. They moved my furniture with precaution and also protected my doors, stairs and other furnitures with soft mat. Pricewise, it is very reasonable. I would come back next time if I need to move to other place.

We used Student Movers to move some large items from my deceased mother in law's house to several different houses. When I called in to get a quote, Cathy was so very nice and easy to talk to. Quickly gave us a quote and went over expectations. They followed up with us the day before the move to confirm all of the details and ensure that we were set up for success. Our assigned crew - Mike and his associate were amazing. They called that morning to give us a firm ETA, showed up on schedule with a smile and a sense of humor. They were both VERY pleasant to work with and were extremely accommodating. Even helped me pull of a joke at one of the locations. I highly recommend Mike, his crew and Student Movers for your moving needs.

My movers were Logan and Danny. They were marvelous! They assured me that move was easy for them. I could not believe how kind they treated my son and me. They were on time and ready. Our freight elevator was not available, but quickly they came up with a plan to get our furniture down and loaded on the truck. I am still amazed at how they protected our valuable furniture and got everything moved into my new home. I am very satisfied and highly recommend their services! Thanks again, Danny and Logan!!!!!

I hired two movers to move my two bedroom apartment in Houston to Katy. The workers were friendly, fast and very helpful. The reason I’m giving 4 stars is bc my mirror was broken in transit. I have a $900 vanity mirror (45lbs) and the movers company cover less than $1 per pound by LAW!! I submitted a claim, they came out the next day to weigh my mirror and went on to do their research and try to replace/fix my mirror but wasn’t successful bc of the cost/brand. By law they didn’t have to give me anything but the cost by weight; but I explained to them how hard I worked for it and it was the one thing I owned that I wanted to keep safe. I was heartbroken for days. They did their investigation within a week (very quick) I refused their first offer and told them what would make me happy; she said she will do her very best to make it happen and that she will let me know first thing Monday morning. Today is Monday; she called and they agreed to settled with what I asked for and I truly believe they were remorseful about what happened. That really lifted some weight off my shoulders. A relief! It was really just an unfortunate situation being a $900 mirror but I would definitely recommend Student Movers but ALWAYS get insurance!! (That was my fault I didn’t) but they were very professional about it. They did what they could to make the customer happy even if that meant losing profit so bc of that I will always use them in future moves. And I recommend them to family and friends. Again, they were fast, professional, they came with all supplies, boxes, tape, wrap and blankets. They even helped me pack. This could’ve been a 5 star review. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Coco

Michael and Dennis are amazing! I called 6 companies for quotes and Student Movers absolutely had the best deal. My team was punctual, super fast, very professional, extremely polite, and had a great sense of humor, even when they were dealing with a very slow elevator. Oh, Ted and Carlos were strategic movers. They looked at all. We had to move the space in our U-Haul and they were able to make everything fit like a perfect puzzle. I’ve used Student Movers three times and I’ve had Ted and Juan each time. They’re both quick and professional and I don’t trust anyone else with moving me. I moved this past weekend and when Ted and Juan pulled up to my apartment, they remembered me from when they moved me there THREE YEARS AGO. The fact that they remembered me shows how much they care, and the fact that they’re still working there three years later (I think Ted told me they’d been with the company almost five years) shows that the company takes great care of their employees. Ted and Juan have shown up on time every time I’ve booked them and go above and beyond to make sure my move goes a smooth as possible. Moving mostly Bankers Boxes and some miscellaneous items : vintage spinning wheel x2, vintage butter churns x2, large Armoire and more!!!! I’d like to take a second to give a shoutout to the two movers from Student Movers that helped me out today! Luis and Beto you guys rock! I’m so appreciative of y’all’s help. The two arrived right on time with the truck and were incredibly respectful. They made sure to double check what to take and even took the time to disassemble and reassemble my ridiculously complicated IKEA bed frame. To take it one step further, they placed boxes in the correct places in my apartment thanks to proper labeling. Both men were fast working, efficient and cognizant of all corners never hitting a wall! They drove incredibly well even in nasty rain and Houston traffic, and arrived at a timely manner to the new location. They did great with our big dog, kept the doors closed for the cats, and wiped their feet before coming inside the house each time. Finally, they used a towel on the carpeted floor to protect it from the rain and wet shoes. These men did a phenomenal job. I HIGHLY recommend Student Movers and I ABSOLUTELY recommend Luis and Beto for anyone wanting a timely, stress free move. Thanks Luis and Beto! And thanks Student Movers for the amazing price, discount and flexibility with scheduling :)

This review is for a personal move where MICHAEL and his partner overcame many obstacles such as my apartment roommate moving on the same day with limited truck parking, going to a storage as a 2nd stop, and helping me, a 60+ lady who wasn't as organized and ready as I would have liked to be upon their arrival. Israel and his crew were great. They texted to confirm they were on their way and arrived right at the beginning of the appointment window on July 7, 2022. They went straight to work and loaded the truck within the 3 hour loading time. This was a long distance, one day move, and the crew arrived at the new location with no issues. They unloaded the truck within the 3 hour unloading window and placed all items in the home as directed. This is my second time using Student Movers and I am satisfied with the front office and crews. Their professionalism and customer service is wonderful. Highly recommend!

Antonio's crew was fantastic. This is the second time I have used this company for my move, and I got the same guys as the first time! Both times, they have been punctual, had good communication, prepared with the right tools, worked with me on where to park the big moving truck, asked where I wanted things as they were coming in, helped rearrange to make more space, & accommodated some of those little requests that you never think of until moving day. They wrapped breakables up nicely and let me know what items could not go in the truck (there are some restrictions for liability reasons) but they still helped get them into my vehicle. When we were almost done unloading, they went back out to the truck & actually found ALL the little rubber feet that came off some items in transit. I haven't unpacked most of my boxes yet, but based on what I've seen so far I don't expect I'll find anything broken or damaged. They even managed to get my 4x4 IKEA Kallax bookshelf up a narrow L staircase (where you go up halfway, then turn 180 degrees to continue up) with no damage whatsoever... If you know what I'm talking about, then you can imagine the skill required to pull this off. I hope not to move again anytime soon, but if I do I'm calling Student Movers and requesting Antonio & crew again. P.S. Gentle reminder to tip well, and crank up the AC and buy your movers a cold beverage if you move on a hot day!

Fantastic experience. Ted and associate (sorry I don't remember his name) were awesome. Texted with him multiple times on the morning of my move. They were actually a bit earlier than he expected. They got straight to work and didn't stop. They dismantled my bed and boxed my TV which was a tremendous relief to me. Drove about 55 miles to my new place, unloaded everything reassembled bed and mounted TV back on stand and still finished in the 3 hour window. I am very pleased.

Best. Move. Ever. Albert and his hard-working two man crew moved me from an historic high-rise in downtown Houston to Covington, La. They navigated the narrow halls and the old freight elevator to get the truck loaded in no time. The crew was experienced and wrapped and protected my furniture well. Even after a much longer drive due to accidents on the way, they showed up ready to get the job done and unloaded the truck in just an hour! Albert and crew were professional and courteous. My experience with Student Movers’s was easy and seamless. I inquired about a quote and Kathy got back to me right away. I didn’t schedule for same day but I called the next day and was able to get service with Gonzalo’s crew for 3 hours. They finished the job with about 45 minutes to spare. They moved quickly and even dismounted my tv and disassembled my bed. They also were very careful and used materials to protect my furniture. I did provide blankets for my TV and Mirror so if you are moving items like that have some extra blankets they can use to protect your item(s). They also were very good with putting my items in the storage the way I wanted. Will definitely be using them again when my place is ready after the New Year!

I had a big move last Sunday while not having family and friends around. First of all, Student Movers had provided the most economical option but they have been very responsible and responsive. I had asked for a two man crew and when the original crew couldn’t arrive due to the mover’s wife going into labor, the office provided a solution by sending a secondary group my way in less than two hours. This team had three movers, I asked for help by two and the driver stayed in which was a blessing as someone was watching the items when we were at the destination which was a storage. Miguel and Luis, the movers despite having already worked other jobs went above and beyond, carefully and quickly wrapping my furniture and moving boxes. They were careful, kind and with a lot of conscience. I had to ask them to take a break. The job was long and hard yet they carried an air of kindness and resilience, no lcomplaint. I felt I was amongst friends and family except nobody could so efficiently and safely move all my stuff in that amount of time. The way they packed the storage left me with much extra space. At 8:30 am on the day of the move, she called to say there had been a mistake, and the company needed to make it for the next afternoon. I rated Ted's crew with 5 stars because of the excellence of our move. This crew was challenged by the fact that they had to pack everything and separate the move into 2 parts. My wife was going into memory care and I into independent living, both at the same facility. Both Ted and Juan set about doing this task with the care and professionalism expected. During the move they discovered a piece of furniture which had a leg broken off; however, still functional. Investigation determined that it could be easily repaired with super glue and would cure while in transient. Upon arrival at the destination it was learned that my wife would be unable to move into her unit. This complicated the delivery; however, Ted's crew managed it well and all items were placed where they needed to be. The goods arrived undamaged, the repaired item fully functional, and 10 hours after starting the move was completed. All in all it was a quality, professional, and great move. I highly recommend Student Movers and especially Ted's outstanding crew.

We moved from a 2 story house with a curved staircase (making moving the furniture down the stairs more difficult) to a one story home. Our furniture is all large and very heavy. They also used great care in protecting both our home in Cypress and our new home in Belton as they moved our furniture from one home to the other. UPDATE: I received a call from Kathy at Student Movers and she Apologized for my experience and offered to refund the money I was charged for the 15 minutes extra. I appreciate them reaching out to me and I as I told her, I would recommend this company to friends and family. I was moving from a 1.5 bedroom apartment into a three bedroom one story house. The movers moved my things fairly quickly but on the way to the house, I noticed that they were driving really slowly. The speed limit on Westheimer is 35 mph then it increases to 50 mph but they were driving at 20 mph. They very seldomly speed up once they began getting lost in traffic but then slowed down again when they caught up. They didn't have an easy tag. Once we got to the house and they unloaded my things, I got charged an additional fee for being over the 2 hours by 15 minutes. I had organized my things to make sure the job was done within 2hrs. I'm sure that the slow driving was intentional. I had planned to tip them even thought there is a mandatory $80 tip charge within the moving fee. I think that was a bit unfair but you can be the judge should you try this company. They didnt break anything but there was a piece missing from my bed post

Had these guys move some heavy items. The movers worked very quickly and wrapped/secured the items very well. A minor/understandable setback was the movers were about an hour and a half late from the “appointment.” I had to call the office for an update since the driver hadn’t called me, but they got in contact and informed me of an update within 10 minutes. If you had a free schedule like I did then its not such a big deal. I would use them again. Best price around Houston IMO.

Well, They were available when all the other movers were not! Their prices are really fair and also their services. We had Mr. Rudy and his helper (can't recall the name. Sorry) for moving, he is a very polite gentlemen. Even though, they charge based on time, they tried their best to finish the job as fast as possible. They really took care of all the details and I was really amazed by their energy and honesty. Their truck may seem a little bit old but the job quality isn't affected. I'd really recommend them over and over. They are the most honest and direct movers to hire. Every time my family and I move to a new place, we break our own backs and do it ourselves. This time, I chose to hire movers. Jesse and Danilo were THE BEST!!!!! Originally, I’d hired another company to move my things (Pack It Movers) and they stood me up. When I called for an update, they casually told me, “someone didn’t show up to work, so we’re just gonna move you tomorrow.” Absolutely no consideration for my time and money. Do not use them!! I called Student Movers and explained to them that I needed same day service and they were at my apartment less than 4hrs later! Completely mind blown! As I stated before, Jesse and Danilo were my movers. Along with their awesome sense of humor, they worked diligently to get my belongings moved and kept it within the 2hr minimum. I recently moved from Houston, TX to Arlington, TX this past Friday. I booked my movers two weeks in advance with Kathy and she was very helpful and patient in answering all of my questions. She was honest and thorough about pricing and quite frankly this company had fair prices in comparison to other companies I quoted, since they do not charge for drive time between locations. My movers, TRIPLE C (Charles, Charles, and Daniel C) arrived on time and set up expectations for the move. Unlike other company's that I've used in the past, they made no complaints while moving my furniture up and down 2 flights of steps. They focused on getting the job done and did not take breaks as I was on the clock to pay the company. That consideration was shown again when they arrived to my apartment in Arlington and unloaded EVERYTHING in under 30 min! They spent another 20 min, taking off the wrappings and putting everything together just as I wanted it. I was really happy with this company from when I first called all the way until the movers left my new house. If you are in the Houston area I would highly recommend this company and if it were me I would definitely request to have Triple C as my moving crew!

We had a wonderful experience Thursday with the two men sent to us to help us move out of our apartment to a storage unit 4 miles up the road. They called to give us an estimated time or arrival and were on time. The bill and details were explained before any work began and payment was completed, the same quoted amount from Taylor, who helped me book our appointment. The movers were efficient in taking our items to the truck and wrapping our furniture as well to prevent damage, as well as efficient in unloading at our storage unit and putting thing in properly and utilizing space in a good manner. Called at 10:00am, within 30 mins they had located a crew, and the crew arrived sharply at 1:00pm! Even though the drive time from Apt A to Apt B was 20 miles they were able to move us in two hours despite the fact that we were moving from a second story apartment to a third story apartment (without an elevator!) in Houston's summer 100 degree heat. Experience was not the very best. For a house move to storage they only sent 2 men to move me which took more than 4 hours which was horrible. They damaged my appliances and furniture and had no remorse. They didn't have the right tools to disassemble my furniture. This was the most expensive move that I have ever had the pleasure of spending. When I called into the company, there was no sympathy towards what I was experiencing.- Update the manager called and apologized for the issues that I experienced and issued a credit towards my move and promised to make the necessary corrections to his staff.

Daniel and Lucito helped me move today, they were FANTASTIC!! They helped me move all of my fragile and heavy items down 3 flights of steps (no elevator) into my uhaul truck and were so helpful the whole time! They moved my 1 bedroom fully furnish apartment within the 2 hour time limit so I was not charged extra for more time, and they meticulously packed my truck to make sure everything was protected and we utilized all the space in the truck. They also came with their tools to disassemble my desk, Saran Wrap to protect my fragile furniture and couch, and dollies to bring down all of my boxes. EDIT: I had a bookcase stolen during the move, when it was left unattended outside of my new apartment unit. Hands down the best moving company in Houston. We moved a couple of times and used other moving companies that were slow and cost us a lot of money. We moved from a two bedroom apartment in the Braeswood Area located on the third floor with steep stairs no elevator to a town home in Midtown located on the 7th floor with an elevator. Clint & Crew arrived at 9:55AM by 10:25AM everything was in the truck ready to go! Unbelievable!! They had all the tools needed to make this move as smooth as possible and their attitude was awesome. By 12:15PM everything was in our new home not only that but they even placed every item where is should be (upstairs/downstairs). So YES! In 2 hours and 25 minutes we were done. I used Student movers Houston and I was VERY impressed- they were professional and experienced, they were careful with my breakables and wrapped blankets around everything with plastic wrap and not one thing got broken - they didn’t bang up the furniture or the walls - I was stressing over moving and Marcileno said you relax no problem we got this!!!! the company rates were reasonable and fair - my movers were MARCILENO, JUAN and JUAN they were very hard workers and definitely know their business - THANKS GUYS😎 Also a big thanks to Kathy in the office she was awesome😃 I will definitely refer them to any friends or family that are moving in the future!!!! On 02/25/2016 at 1:45 p.m. I contacted STUDENT MOVERS and requested an "EMERGENCY MOVE SERVICE" My window to move was from 3:00 p.m. - 5:00 p.m. the dispatcher quoted me the price of the move and immediately connected me to my moving crew. Mr. Israel was very prompt in responding, he offered great communication skills, he was courteous and very well versed with packing & moving! The team arrived earlier than scheduled (2:40 P.M.) They immediately went to work loading the packed items and moving the furniture and appliances. I moved from an apartment; stopped and unloaded at a offsite storage facility and arrived at the new location! My goal of being out of the 1st apartment had been met!! I had a deadline to meet & beat and was able to do so with time to spare. My items were handled with care and concern they acted as if they were moving they're own personal items and I appreciated the work effort that they implemented and used to get the job done. I am and was very pleased with the services that I received from STUDENT MOVERS I will be using them again and referring them to family members and friends

I thought they did a good job over all. It wasn't the best that I have had but they did do the job with 2 guys within 2 hours. I have had movers on 3 different occasions with the same amount of stuff and this has been the lowest apt floor that I have lived on so i had high expectations going in. These guys were slower than I was used to and didn't wrap/secure all the items like they usually do. Over all nothing broke that couldn't be reattached and just had minor paint chips on the walls. Now i didn't like the fact that i was the first move of the morning and 30 mins into moving me one of the guys asked to use the bathroom so let him. He was in there for 5 mins and God did he BLOW it up. I was gagging for 10 mins straight afterwards not to mention I had to pee because I'm 7 months pregnant. Besides those 2 negatives everything else went smooth. They did call me prior to getting there to make sure that i was ready for them and to made sure they did come to the right place.

Marcial and Miguel did a fantastic job today moving bedroom furniture between two houses clear across town from each other. They were quick, conscientious and courteous throughout the process. There was a lot of driving to do between houses (about an hour's worth each way, in terrible traffic), but they didn't dawdle. They could have easily taken advantage of the long drive time, but they made sure the move was efficient and true to the estimate. They called 30 minutes prior to arrival and showed up a little after 9 a.m. during the given 9-10 a.m. time frame. Punctuality means a lot to me, considering that most service professionals usually arrive at the end of the promised window. I certainly recommend these guys!

The movers were nice and efficient. The only 2 things I didn't like is that they almost left some Property, like core hangers, mop bucket, a bag of clothes, my lamp. I had to tell them that they left my items which was odd, like HOW CAN YOU NOT SEE! Also it appears that my Cable Cord was RIPPED out of the back of my TV and now I can't even use the TV. Hopefully they will do the right thing and REPLACE my DAMAGED property. I'm so furious!!!!! IF NOT I'M FILING A CLAIM ON THEY ASSESS
