H-Town Movers Houston is amazing. From the initial quote, preparing for move date, and day of move, every step of this process was handled promptly, professionally and with a smile! My move date was on April 1st of 2023 and let me tell you there was no April Fool's day problems or issues. Movers came 10 minutes early, they hustled with no breaks and handled our belongings with care. The three man crew cleaned up after everything was done. This was by far the best move I have experienced since moving to Houston 9 years ago and moving 7 times over this period of time. Thank you H-Town Movers Houston!

I’m so glad I chose this company. They were on time, incredibly fast and efficient, and very nice. They even went above and beyond to move my bed to a different wall after they had already assembled it and moved things for me that I planned to move myself. It only took them 2.5 hours to move my small one-bedroom apt to a house 45 mins away so I was pleasantly surprised by the final pricing! Definitely recommend!

They were already the cheapest option in Houston with the best reviews. Was quoted a two hour minimum with price. The guys must have finished everything in a little over an hour and that includes the 15 minute drive to my new apartment. Granted I don't have that much stuff but they were quick and professional. I feel like the price I paid was actually less than quoted. This company is professional and efficient. No complaints.

Best moving experience ever. My brother and I were swapping houses, so the logistics were weird, but the guys were fantastic. They moved very quickly and efficiently, and made sure everything was packed safely. They even repaired the piano leg that was broken before they got here (they did not break it). If you're looking for a good deal in Houston, this is it. We swapped two houses worth of furniture in 2.5 hours. I cannot recommend these guys enough!!

PERFECT!! These guys were great!!! Exactly how moving should go!! They wrapped EVERYTHING with the blankets & plastic. They were polite, quick & efficient. I literally have nothing negative to say!! ****If I have any tips for future customers: -have your boxes taped & ready, all in one area so the less time it takes. With that said I still had about 4 “areas” with groups of boxes/furniture. And they were still out of here in record time. -be sure to have cash, if you want to tip, because unfortunately they’re bill doesn’t accommodate it and they’re so hardworking that they truly deserve it!!

The crew of 4 men that moved me for 2 days in record 108 deg. heat never slowed down. I'm not sure how they do it, but these guys are beasts! (in the best sense of the word). They didn't take breaks, but just a few minutes at lunch the entire 8+ hours they were here. They're highly organized and efficient. Not one piece of our furniture or belongings was damaged or lost. These guys know how to get things done very quickly. They're true professionals in every sense of the word. I am not planning on ever moving again, but if I were I know who I'd call. When shopping rates, consider that these guys charge what most others do, but they're worth much more considering the speed and diligence in keeping your items safe and getting the job done. Admittedly, I am very hard to impress. These 4 guys blew me away! They are awesome! Don't even think about calling someone else...they're just that good. Honestly!

Super professional crew led by Mr. Hernandez. very smooth experience, they had moved people to/from the same complexes before! No issues moving some of my heavier / oddly shaped items (large steel frame monitor arm). 0 damaged goods, and were happy to move items around after settling in a bit. They were also very flexible and patient while I was retrieving my key for my new apartment. Very great service, will be hiring them in the future. 10/10 Edit: want to add I did a self-pack and had everything prepped prior to the move. Highly recommend doing this, as it’s saved me plenty of time and headaches over the years!!

These guys were professional, thorough, efficient and so very careful. I had fragile artwork, and white antique furniture among the many items they had to move and they handled it effortlessly without any hint of an issue. From now on I will always use this company. Last but not least, they had a younger gentleman named Minor(?) Not sure of the spelling but he worked very, very hard. (All three movers did actually). If Minor is an example of the work ethic of our younger men and women, we are in great hands.

I am updating this review from one star to three as the manger reached out regarding my experience and that alone reflects better on this company. We had a team of 3 people for our 2bed/1 bath apartment on the second floor. I have moved over 20x in my life w/ 4 international moves. This was the worst move I have been through. We disassembled and boxed the majority of items prior to the crews arrival. As soon as the driver, walked in the first thing he said in Spanish was we don't move plants and we won't move anything in a bag nota great start. He refused to speak english to me! Thank god my husband speaks Spanish as the move would be an even worst disaster. Though I had previously confirmed if I wrap my plants (less than 200lbs) they can take it. One out of the 3 men were helpful. He took care with our belongings wiped shelves before wrapping them. The driver was combative and condescending the entire move telling us he had 27yrs of experience everytime we suggested a good way to move a large object. They left alot of space in the 26ft truck and drove off without even telling us. We had to make trips to remove boxes they left behind. I would not recommend this company based on my experience!

Alex and his team from H-Town movers really saved the day! I went to Houston on a Wednesday night to meet my movers that were from town moving to on Thursday - they blew a rod on way on Wednesday and notified me less than 45 minutes until their arrival that they would not be able to get to me before 7pm that night meaning we'd be unloading close to midnight...uh, NO. So I looked up local movers and at the top of the list based on reviews was H-Town Movers. I thought I'd have to drive back down on a future date but they were able to be there the next morning. Arrived 10 minutes early, worked so fast I was out of breath keeping up. They were polite, efficient, QUICK, and so accommodating. Our end location required items moved from a barn, a garage and another home next door to final destination. They did it all without a moment's pause. AND - here's the kicker...they saved me $600 over my original mover's estimate! What a happy accident in my favor! Thanks Alex and your team for doing such a great job! Thanks H-Town for completing a complicated move for me! I will use you again for the second leg of this move.

Miguel & his crew (3 men total) got right to work and had the entire place cleared out right away within an hour. They were careful, professional, organized, and incredibly efficient. Had to move my brother out of his flooded home of 43 years. Difficult move made so much easier by a great team of packers and movers. Pleasant, professional, and hard working from start to finish. The Team Leader did not seem comfortable speaking English but that certainly didn't slow him down. And, during delivery, he knew exactly which room each piece of furniture came from. Incredibly helpful since there was a lot of furniture, it was not my furniture, and my brother was not there to help. I highly recommend H-Town Movers, especially this 5* team.

Mike and his team did an AMAZING job moving my furniture, especially my late grandmother's precious china cabinet and dining table to my new home. They had to navigate tight corners up the stairs and they successfully got the furniture up to the second floor. The team did a very careful job of wrapping everything to make sure nothing was damaged. They were super professional, very nice and worked hard during the whole time. I was worried at first about the China cabinet being moved upstairs, but Mike and the team said "Oh that's easy"...and they made it happen! I would highly recommend Mike and his team. This was the 4th moving for me and my family members during the last 2 years. I am so happy to select H-Town this time. This was the toughest of all movings as it was from 2nd floor (19 stairs) downwards to 3rd floor (39 stairs with 2 turns) upwards, and they’ve to move a heavy marble-top dresser as well. But, Kevin and his team (Marlin and Geovani) made it a very smooth, professional, and stress free job. They started moving right away without wasting any time with a consistent and appreciable speed and completed the job without any damage. Thanks H-Town and thanks Kevin and his team. My family ended up getting stuck and having our move delayed by a week because of the winter storm in Texas. Andrew and his crew were understanding and we didn't have to submit another deposit! They took such hrate care in moving all of the heavy things. They also put our kid's double bunk together and handled our heavy framed bed perfectly. They even wrapped up storage units and pieces that had unbreakable items in them so we would not have to take them out. For example, they wrapped up the small book cabinet for us with the books still inside so we could just unwrap and go - the same for my coffee buffet table. I have never had movers before but if we move again there is no one else I'm going to trust. Thank you so much Andrew and the 3 guys you sent over. I’ve used this moving company before and had a great experience. I used them again yesterday and I had Mike and his team and they were great and patient. The only concerning thing I didn’t like was as one worker was assembling my bed he didn’t have all the screws and I went to find them in my car. When I returned Mike had moved some screws from the bed and readjusted them and told me he went and got screws from his truck and put them in and I could clearly see missing holes as they tried to put down my mattress. I didn’t like being lied to. At that moment I located my bed screws and handed them to him and he said he only needed four and I told him he needed all 8. I said you’re trying to not do this correctly, it’s 4 missing screws on both sides of the frame. He then said, okay okay sorry. Then started speaking in Spanish to the other worker because I guess he realized I caught them. I really disliked being lied to about my stuff and there is a rip on my sofa but no one said anything me and I didn’t see it fully until the movers left so I couldn’t report it. I will say, they forgot something came back to get it and tightened the legs on a chair they moved after they returned. That was nice. But still lying and covering up things to customers is not good service or demonstration of trust.

Booking was an easy process, and the gentleman I spoke to on the phone was extremely informative and wanted to make sure I had every bit of info I needed. Come move day, the movers (Alex, and I didn’t catch the other gentleman’s name) arrived within the specified window, assessed my apartment and went right to work. Excellent work ethic and attention to detail. Everything was wrapped properly and with care, total move from my 1BR apartment to a storage unit took 3 hours. I was extremely impressed with the promptness of their work, and how friendly they were. Everything arrived at my storage unit in excellent condition, and they quickly unloaded the truck and placed everything in the unit with care. I chose them because I had seen them moving one of our neighbors just weeks before. I liked how they were handling our neighbors move. There was another moving company at our complex moving a different tenant at the exact same time, so it took a little longer than expected to move with just one elevator and flight of stairs. They put together all our household good in their truck as if they were playing Tetris. Everything fit! They may not be the cheapest movers, but as the saying goes "you get what you pay for". We moved from a two bedroom apartment on the third story to a two story house. We have a lot of stuff and several display cases that are all glass and very heavy. Eric, Tony and John did a fantastic job. They wrapped/padded all the furniture very well and the result was no damage to our belongings. We didn't estimate the amount of stuff well but they did a great job of making everything fit in the truck. They were good about putting everything where we wanted at the new location and assembled everything we needed. The manager, Mike, checked in during the move as well as later that night to make sure everything had gone as planned. Great experience for a good price. I received reminder emails up until the day of that contained all of my move information; it let me know they were prepared. They showed up within their arrival window and gave me a call. From there on they quickly packed my stuff into the truck and went to the next place where they efficiently unpacked it all. It only took 3 hours from start to finish, and I had 7+ big furniture items plus boxes for them to move. The whole time they were nice, courteous, and worked hard. There is always a concern with hourly services that they will move at a snails pace to maximize the number of hours paid...but rest assured, that is NOT the case with H-Town Movers. The guys working on my move busted their tails from the minute they arrived (on time), to the minute they placed the last box down. They cleared out a jammed packed 10x30 storage unit, picked up furniture from an additional unit and a house, and unloaded it all in 5 hours. They also did a great job of making sure my bigger furniture pieces were wrapped, paintings, and big pictures were wrapped and stored in an open box that they had on the truck. Overall they did a great job, did it quickly, efficiently, and did a great job of communicating with me before, during, and after. I have another move in a month and will definitely be using H-Town Movers again.

Great experience with H-town movers. Very courteous and respectful, and they did a great job. It took a long time to load because our apartment building management lost the key to the elevator and we had to share it with the whole building since it wasn't locked. On the day of the move I was contacted by Michael and Felix letting me know exactly what time they would arrive (which was on time). They were absolutely GREAT! They moved all my items from a high rise apartment, including taking apart furniture, wrapping furniture, etc... Then moved all my items to my 2-story home 45 min away. While they were there they put all the furniture back together and moved other items to a different location that again was about an hour away. I used Htown movers this week to move my family of four. Lena in the office/reservations was fantastic getting the right size trucks and men in order for us. We had some changes closer to the move date which she handled perfectly and with ease. My crew, Emerson and Moses and the rest of their men helped pack what I didn’t get finished without hesitation and packed the trucks so quickly and effortlessly, all the while making sure I was not stressed . Upon delivery they were excellent at putting things where I wanted. I highly recommend that crew, although I would imagine how great things went, great crews are company wide! I had water, gatorades and lunch for them, you would have thought they won the lotto, to me it was the least I could do, but to them it meant a lot. Excellent experience!

I determine the time and called it after 4 hours. The 3 of them did an outstanding job. The best movers I've had in a long time!!! As soon as a they came they looked at my stuff and let me know how much time it would take then got to work. I will say that they were very careful with my wall mirrors (I have a lot of them) and took care of packing all of the small things that I didn't have time to pack. They also packed my shoe boxes in my closet that I was going to move the next day. I mean they took care of everything then finished earlier than they estimated. I would definitely recommend Manuel and his guys if you are moving and you don't have to worry about them being lazy and combative. I am totally happy with the whole process!!!!

When they arrived, they were very professional and super careful with items that I had marked as fragile. The entire door to door move (including a 40 min drive) took exactly 3 hours. As context, I was in a 1 bedroom 1 bath apartment and only had bedroom furniture. The key to a speedy move is having everything boxed and consolidated in one area so the team can quickly load the truck. Overall, I am very happy with the move. The move for the most part was great! Andrew was AMAZING and very responsive. The movers called 30 min before arriving. Rescheduling due to rain was a breeze. They were prompt. Didn’t really slow down. Just for a quick water break. They did bump the wall and a small piece was damaged. But I mean that’s to be expected with moving and the damage was not that serious. My only issue was when it was time to pay. The movers had one quote (About a $150 difference) than the quote that was given to us and the deposit was left off. This was not the movers fault they only ask for the price of the quote that was given to them. After a few calls the quote was fixed. The movers were patient. We did have a discrepancy about time we felt an extra 15 min was added when the quote was corrected. We didn’t bring it up considering they went up 3 flights of stairs. All in all...I would recommend and use again. Simply for the customer service and the movers not slowing down.

I had a Long Distance moved planned from Texas to California and like most of us, I was really scared about selecting the moving company. I have used this moving company for in-town moves several times in the last three years, most recently a couple of days ago, and i highly recommend them. They not only take care with items being moved, but they are also careful not to damage other property in the move, such as walls, stairs, and floors. The movers are fast and efficient and do not complain while meeting challenging tasks, such as moving heavy exercise equipment three floors by stairs or watching out for wallpaper and sconces in a very small and tight stairwell. They also listen well--moving items that should be moved, not moving items that should not be moved, and placing items where they belong or where I want them to go. While moving can be stressful, at least using these folks alleviates some of that inevitable stress.

I had a very good experience with these movers. They arrived on time and called me thirty minutes ahead to let me know they were on the way. They carefully wrapped my furniture with moving blankets and cling film. Upon arriving at my new home they unloaded and unwrapped the furniture, arranged it according to my plan, and assembled my bed. If I had a complaint it would be that I was repeatedly asked to complete signature boxes on a tablet managed by one of the movers but was never show or told what I was acknowledging. It's entirely possible that I might have sold my soul away but it was worth it to get my move done as quickly and affordably as it turned out to me.

We had an across-town move, only six miles away from our old location in Midtown Houston, but we had many heavy items, which were hard to move. The team of three showed up a little earlier and hot straight to work. All the inventories were moved in one big load, only those heavy items were taken not so easily but very quick although. Replied fast for my inquiry here at Yelp. Reservation went smoothly too and I got accommodated for a next-day schedule. The lady who did the reservation is very thorough with all the details as to time, price per hour and its excess, and the addresses of both origin and destination. Scheduled my move 4 days ahead of time. Estimated arrival time: 8 - 9AM, Actual arrival time: 9AM sharp unloaded my 10' X 10' storage unit, which was very full, in less than an hour. Unloaded the truck into my new *second floor* apartment (with tight stairs) in around 1.5 - 2 hours hrs. The guys were courteous, careful, and attentive to what I asked them to do. Total cost: $337 to move all of my stuff from a storage unit to 1 bedroom apartment. Absolutely worth it!

This was my first real big move and hiring of a professional moving company. The move could not have gone more perfectly. Thomas and his crew did a quick and professional job. They were prompt, courteous, and honest. Amazing overall. They started the clock when they were in my unit and even skipped lunch to get the move done more quickly. Saul, Moises, Rudy and Emerson all took part in a Sunday morning move for us from one side of Houston to Spring Branch. Moises was the team lead and he was absolutely fantastic! They were fast quick friendly helpful and respectful. Not one bit of eye rolling or look of exhaustion when nearly impossible tasks were asked of them. All of the guys were young and fit and each had varying strengths that lent to a perfect move from a large house to a small house. I would use these guys again and again and again no question.

The only reason for not getting the 5th star is because I think the administration folks (ppl setting up the move when you call in) could make some adjustments. When I called, I gave all the information about the from and to addresses as well as requested arrival time. Then, I received an email that required me to fill out all this information from scratch. It made me wonder that, if I had not done so in time, I would have lost the 8 - 9 AM timeframe and we would all be suffering in the Houston heat. Not to mention, I didnt understand why I had spent all that time giving information over the phone, to only then give the same information online. Maybe they dont need someone answering the phone if you can just set up and book online.

Worked fast but not smart. I moved from Houston to Spring and was only able to unpack a few things at a time as I was renovating. I finally found my television and was thrilled to get that setup. They wrapped it but disconnected the power cord and no clue where they put it! So now I don't even know which box to look in to find it. Why wouldn't you at least twist tie it in with the TV? Many other things were not packed well and just thrown together with tape wrapped around them, unlabeled. I appreciated the hustle but it made my move-in a hassle. Still can't use my TV.
