I was advised it was due to the job before mine, the people had twice as much stuff to move than what was requested. We had the team move our stuff from a storage unit to our new house. They were puctual ariving to the storage, ask questions about items that could be fragile, gave us estimated times and started working quickly. They worked fast and completed the move safely and within the estimated timing. Furniture and boxes were placed in the areas/rooms we asked and not one item was damaged. Bobby and his crew did a superb job!

We had a house move about 125 miles away. The team that moved our things were considerate, friendly and worked hard; never wasting time. They treated all of our things with love and care and everything arrived exactly as it left. I have one small complaint that the person we booked the move through didn't communicate clearly how it would work. He told us it would take two days, but gave no more details than that. I assumed that meant they'd make a round-trip on Day 1 and then another one on Day 2. I found out the day before that they were picking everything up on Day 1 and delivering on Day 2. That left us scrambling on how to save the food from a full fridge and 2 freezers. Plus it left us with nothing to sleep on. We managed, but it would have been nice to know this further in advance.

We have used Firefighting’s Finest four times now. Three moves, and most recently we hired them to help us bring large appliances in from the garage after a big remodel. These men are great! So courteous, so prompt. If you need to move or need items moved in your home, look nowhere else. I have had the displeasure of hiring other companies previously, but now that I have found FFM&S, I won’t use anyone else. Give them a call!

They worked together like a well oiled machine and were so careful with my stuff plus very polite. This team of movers was, quite literally, the best I've ever had the pleasure of working with! Efficient, respectful, patient, pleasant, trustworthy, are just a few descriptors that come to mind. Jamail of Cypress Creek VFD led his team with the utmost competence. My mother is 72 years old and had quite an overwhelming move to make. Almost every sentence that came out of these men's mouths started with a "yes ma'am." There was never an instance in 2 days and 3 trucks worth of moving that the job wasn't going to get done with a good attitude and impeccible teamwork. It was also very apparent that this team had good energy and enjoyed working together. Each mover, equally, contributed their skills in different ways. My mother couldn't be happier and that is no small feat. Way to go, team!

I hired Firefighting's Finest to take care of a move for me and my girlfriend back on 9/23/21. That morning we had Jacob, Ian and Josue show up on time and ready to go. We didn't have too much heavy furniture, but we had A LOT of boxes. The guys were very careful with our furniture, making sure to secure and wrap and protect all of our goods. They were efficient and timely on the loading and unloading and were very good with listening to where I wanted everything to be placed in our new home. The crew even came in under the estimate, time-wise. And I was very satisfied with the rate we were given when I booked. I would definitely hire FF for my next move and had a great experience with the crew assigned to us- Jacob, Ian and Josue. Nothing damaged, nothing missing. If you're looking for a good moving company with good rates, these are your guys.

Jacob (supervisor), Derrick & Quinton were on time, communicative and professional. I had several heavy pieces and they worked together and safely and efficiently moved my possessions. Huge shout out to Luis, Roberto and Rodney. They arrived on time and got to work immediately, they moved so fast and were so courteous. We wanted our movers to be background check and people we could trust coming into our home, and also there was no lack of communication from their office before the moving date. As for price , you get what you pay for and it was worth every penny. Will definitely book them again !

At payment time, I wrote a check that Jacob quickly admitted was miscalculated. He had me void the check on the spot and write one for a lesser amount. That honesty saved me from paying more than need be!

Our team arrived promptly and they were friendly. It took them about 15/20 minutes to inventory the house then an hour or so wrapping furniture. We moved out of the first house no issues. When we got to the new house, they spent an hour trying to figure out if furniture was going to fit or not. They told us it could not fit and after they left the neighbor came over and helped us move all the furniture and it fit. I called the manager in the office to let him know about this and he removed the hour of time as a courtesy. I felt this was very professional and left me with a good impression. I would use them again for sure.

Company is friendly and fair in pricing. I was given a cash rate discount for paying with cash and or check instead of card... they definitely beat out any other moving company in quotes with that. They are nice and professional. But the reasons they lost a star: my movers showed up around 30 minutes late. It wasn't a huge issue for me because I was off of work that day. But it did set everything back a bit and if I did have to work at my normal scheduled time, I'd have had to call out or else be super late... But the move went ok once it got started. The two guys I was sent worked hard. Made friendly conversation. But my washer was damaged in the move. The chrome was scuffed/peeled off the door and on the side, and the front bottom panel was dented. This voids my ten year warranty per LG. They did help me with opening and filing a claim and paid me for the damages. But the pay out isn't really going to cover anything because it's a new front loading LG washer. If you own one of those, you know how expensive repairs can be. I did not select the higher coverage for damages because I didn't think I'd have to. So maybe get the added on coverage if you have big expensive items to move. Overall I do feel good about the company. Accidents happen and they didn't fight me on reimbursement based on the coverage I had. I'd recommend them because they were just really easy to deal with and aside from being a bit late and causing cosmetic damage to my washer, they did a really good job getting all my heavy stuff into my new upstairs apartment. Read reviews on OTHER companies. That's what I did. And a lot of what I read said they didn't get compensated for damages. Firefighting's Finest does uphold their contracts. Damages can happen with anyone. Go with someone who will own up to it. I could give the five stars but again the damages did void my warranty on my washer. So if it ever malfunctions, LG most likely will not cover it under warranty.

Stephen H, Adrian L, Roberto G, Jesus V, Desmond H, John P — This team was and has been the absolute best moving team we have ever had, which says a lot as my husband and I have moved multiple times and have had the opportunity to work with several companies. We’ve never met a more professional team who truly treated our items with as much respect as they did us. We had multiple items moved upstairs without one complaint or even a pause in work to “rest” from the efforts. The only break any of them took was at lunch, and to drink water - definitely the hardest working crew we’ve ever seen. And all had continual smiles and kindness, and sincere camaraderie towards each other, which - again - is something extremely rare with what we’ve seen in other moving teams. I obviously can’t say enough positive things about them. We will definitely be recommending them and Firefighters Finest Moving without a doubt!!

I received confirmation emails and a phone call the week of in preparation. On the day of my move, the 3-man moving crew arrived early, in a clean, well-maintained and spacious truck. My movers rocked! DILLON, CHAD, and JOSH were SO personable and friendly! They got to wrapping furniture and moving boxes efficiently and without hesitation. They never wasted a minute of time on the clock, making SURE to finish the job ON TIME, just as they had originally quoted me! Thanks to the outstanding service of Firefighting's Finest, my move last week was not only less stressful than expected, but was actually enjoyable. The week before my move, my closing date (and moving date) changed, and office personnel worked really hard to rearrange the schedule and accommodate my move during a very busy week. My movers (Justin Lowe, Joe and David B) were helpful, polite, reassuring and resourceful. Even when faced with challenges, they were cheerful and pleasant, and they overcame every obstacle. My things arrived at my new home intact and on time. Even though the former owners of my new home had not completely moved out (which could have been a big problem), Justin, Joe and David never complained, and they managed to get everything in the house even though it was a tight fit. The movers did way more than I had expected. They are trained to handle your items with care. I had a Hibiy dress or and piano moved. They padded and wrapped the items and padded the door frames so that neither would get scratched. They were on time and friendly. Asked if anything else was needed and knew what to do. The office staff is friendly and informative. They follow up to make sure everything is quoted correctly. Will continue using their services in the future.

They wraped everything including the enrtrance doors and none of our antiques were scratched in the move. They were done about 3 hours earlier than estimated which saved money. Outstanding job by this team! They gave me a call at pickup to let me know they were going to be 5 minutes late :-). I had 2 storage units (stacked to the ceiling) and was moving to a house. They started loading the first truck and didn't stop until the second was full! No breaks, no slow moving, just constant go go go. After a brief lunch they met me at the house and started the unload. It was all I could do to keep up with how fast and efficient they were, to let them know where stuff went. Bed assembly and some other assembly went perfectly. I cannot stress how highly I recommend these guys! They were on time, professional, yet personable, friendly, even funny and had great manners. This made a normally extremely stressful day, quite a bit more fun and easy. As for their moving abilities, they are strong, capable, careful and even made me feel that they genuinely cared about our stuff. There is not one single dent, scuff or evidence of any damage whatsoever. This was a humongous difference from our previous move. That was another company, of course, and it was a literal nightmare. Overall the crew who moved us were very professional and polite. I do understand our bed was a bit difficult to dismantle and reassemble. In retrospect I wish I realized the 3 hour minimum work time did not include the 1 hour of drive time needed to transport our bedroom set from a townhouse to our house. The bed was not perfectly assembled. There are drawers that are not aligned and so will have to be moved along with there slides and realigned. I was pleased with the crew's attempt and do not hold it against them that they were unable to perfectly reassemble this bed. Addendum I was contacted by the GM Lance Potter within hours of this initial post. He showed genuine concern that there were aspects of our move that I was not a 100 percent pleased with. This company went out of their way to correct these areas, even going so far as to send the crew back out to adjust the parts of the bed drawers that needed adjustment. The customer service exhibited is unmatched and I would definitely use them in the future.

If you are reading this, you are likely shopping for a moving service. Make sure to keep Firefighting's Finest in mind. I have used a number of moving services over the decades, and these guys were the real deal. The Negatives: The price. They are not the cheapest, but I wouldn't say they are overpriced. You get what you pay for... The Positives: Communication: It did take a bit to get someone on the phone initially, but I was moving in the middle of summer, a peak moving period. So, I left a message and they returned the call. At another point I called and got the VM but didn't leave a message and they still returned the missed call. Had a manager call me day before the move to quickly go over what to expect and answer any last minute questions. Day of, the manager texted from a direct number so that I could contact him with any concerns or complaints immediately. Preparedness: They came ready. The truck was clean and organized. Stocked with any items they could need. Pads, stretch wrap, tie downs, tools, etc. After a quick walkthrough of what was being moved, they were able to grab what was needed and got to work. Even cleanup after unloading was almost choreographed. Professionalism: All 3 of the guys were polite and focused. When they took a small stop to hydrate, it was just for that. No messing with phones or other distractions. They knew the job, well trained, and efficient. Price part 2: Coming back around to the price. While yes, it was not the cheapest rate, the efficiency they maintained cut the time down to bring that cost back in line with others. This was easily the quickest move I have done including a longer drive than any other in-town move. I would estimate it took other companies about 33% longer to do the same work. Summary: Ask your friends about their mover experiences and it is usually, "Avoid NotReal Movers, they broke mystuff" or "Fake Movers tried to charge me more at the end." Rare to hear about standout movers. Now you have. This is the first time I have ever said, "I will use these movers again."

The managers are very professional and courteous. The crews are very nice and mostly hard-working. A few things to work on: crew needs to eat breakfast before arriving at site and they need to use the restroom before departing the shop. It’s understood that nature will call, but 2 out of 5 cannot have to use the restroom upon arrival. Also, proper supplies need to be in the trucks: boxes, bubble wrap, markers, mattress boxes, tv boxes and a table to wrap goods. We were asked for markers, a table and even a way to play their music. It should be discussed with the customer ahead of time what they would like to have wrapped instead of assuming that something has no value because it’s perceived not to. While we would recommend this service, they could still tighten up a bit.

Lance came out and attempted to repair the door. I opted not to have him come and duct tape my new box springs as a means of repairing those. Adding one star for at least coming out to look.
