The reservation system failed everyone in the store had to wait as the desk clerk talked with IT for 30 minutes. Only then could the people in front of me start to recieve help. I picked up the keys for a truck rental in 5 minutes on Maui. The same process is likely to take over an hour on O'ahu. UPDATE Returning the vehicle was a very easy process. The owner was more than helpful

U-Haul on Kamakee in Kakaako, is the best and #1 location in Hawaii to rent your next moving truck or van. They have a truly exceptional and friendly staff that always does their best to accommodate their renters. Just ask for Lorraine!

Best storage unit in town because they have climate control and all my stuff stays in better condition. Good rental rate for my 5x5 Realized a lot of my stuff was stolen from it month later. Wow they got me good

This is a very busy place. Which tells you something about it. They're doing something correct. Is it pricing is it customer service. Regardless I've never been there there wasn't someone new coming in for rental I'll be a storage or a vehicle. They're very polite and they are very helpful. The other way to make sure you understand everything. I think all of us have a love-hate relationship with storage places but I would recommend this.

Picked up moving supplies. Lots of useful boxes of different types. Super helpful and friendly staff. Very convenient. Lots of off street meter parking in the area. They also have a 2 spot garage.

Great Service!!! I rented a 9' van and when we got out to where we were supposed to go, found out we couldn't drop off the stuff. We could not get back in time, so they let me keep it till the next morning at no additional charge. We had to rent a storage unit and the next morning unloaded it in the bay. Everyone was very friendly and helpful. They went out of their way to help me. I cannot recommend them enough.

Reserved and rented a van. The ladies provided exceptional service even tho I looked haggard. Clean van. Clean place! Went on a Sunday, I think that helped with parking. Left my car on the street. They advised where I could park. You estimate the miles you use. If you are under when you return they refund you the difference. Fair is fair.

rented $20 per day pickup. plus $10 insurance. Plus 20 miles of mileage ($20) total = $52 for 3 hours. a tad pricey. but great location. super ease of rental.

Convenient location, but the storage unit that I reserved online was in a building that wasn't complete yet (which wasn't disclosed anywhere when I signed up). I found out when I went to the office to move in. If I wanted a unit that day in the building that was complete, I had to pay more than the monthly rate that was advertised online.

They have the truck inventory and lowest prices but watch out the invoices. Was erroneously added CDW $20 cleaning $10 and double charged deposit $79. They ended up fixing exactly with a credit but took me hours analysing and complaining to get get charges corrected.

Rented 9'cargo van. Originally rented for 4 hours, and 50miles @ $0.89mile. Sunce no one else reserved the van. She gave it to us for 24 hours. We ended up needing the extra time and went way over the miles. When we returned the van they changed the pricing to a flat rate that Included 75 miles and per extra miles was $0.59. Which saved me ~$20. So thank you very much
