Joe is the real deal if you need help moving. He has lots of knowledge on the efficient way to load a POD. He took care of everything during my move, he was right on time with the tools and a hard worker helper. Definitely an excellent value for the money. Thank you for all your help.

Joe and his team are amazing! He packed my 3 bedroom cape and all our tool shed contents into one 26ft Uhaul. We moved long distance so making it all fit was a necessity. Not one item was damaged in the move. They were all professional, courteous and careful with our items- and listened when we had a concern. I would recommend Joe and his team to anyone who needs a great moving company!

Thanks for helping us with unloading our truck! The dad and son duo worked really fast and efficiently. They showed up on time and got straight to work. When I called around for quotes, they gave me one of the lower quotes ($290 per 2 hours) for a labor only unloading (bundled with their great reviews) it was a no brainer. I did have some lack of communication with them prior to my move (I did not get any confirmation to lock in my time). But I was able to get a hold of them via phone call a few day before.

Erik and Julius were excellent in packing my moving pod for a cross-country move. They were courteous, professional, and efficient. Came prepared with door stops, moving dollys, and tools. They first assessed the boxes and furniture that needed to be packed. They wrapped furniture effectively with moving blankets/tape (that I provided) and disassembled the bulkier furniture (with tools they provided). With an injured back, I felt completely at ease taking a hands-off approach. They did take a bit more time than the quoted 2 hours for a 1 bedroom apartment, but I never felt that they were not working efficiently, and they did have to wrap up some bulky items. Highly recommend using this company for future moves!

Joe was great to deal with, arrived in the 30 min window he provided us, and the team was a joy to deal with. I was initially VERY hesitant about hiring help, but in retrospect we would not have moved w/out them. There was never any downtime w/ the move, all four movers worked hard the entire time, and nothing was damaged. They even took the time to have my five yr old son feel like he was part of the team, and move some of his own stuff. He said after it helped him feel right at home in the new house, since "he" moved us in. Big shout out to Eric, Ron, Julius and Ronin.

After facing several hiccups with our closing date and some renovations we were finally able to move. The guys at this company were prompt (actually early), efficient and very professional. My husband and I were relieved to make this move easier than it has been. We were to thankful for this companies patience before and during the move. We had a lot of heavy furniture to be moved and they did a very good job at making sure nothing got damaged. I'm impressed with how much they were able to get done within the two-hour window. Absolutely a great moving experience. Called Joe at 5:00 pm and told him that I needed to move two large pieces of furniture from 2nd floor to garage. They were at my house 2 hours later! No scratches etc. Would highly recommend.

I reached out to Heavy Foot Movers via email late Saturday night. I received a call from Joe early Monday morning. All I needed done was to have my Hydrow moved from the first floor to the third floor. It was still in the box. He said they could fit me in before their first move that day. They arrived within 15-20 minutes, had the box broken down, and my Hydrow upstairs in less than 10 minutes. They were very professional and quick. I would recommend and use their services again.

This company is excellent. They moved an antique dining room set for us that we bought on FB Marketplace. The buffet and china cabinet were very heavy and big. The move went great! They were prompt, careful, and friendly. Last but not least, they were about half the price of the quotes I got from three other companies. We will use them again!

Joe and Shawn showed up right on time and did a great job loading my pods. They were courteous and professional. Joe walked thru the house to see what needed to be loaded into the pods. He formulated his plan on how to load the pods and kept me informed thru the whole process. He used the moving blankets and plastic wrap to protect all of the furniture. He also had special tools to make moving the heavy items down the stairs much easier. My husband and I could NEVER have done what Joe and Shawn did in a short couple of hours. They were very focused and were working the entire time. It was 97 degrees outside with a heat index of 102 degrees and they just kept working through it. We had no idea how long it would take and we only booked them for 2 hours, which would maybe be adequate for less items. But we have a lot of stuff and 2 pods. Thankfully they had a buffer of free time before their next appointment and they helped get EVERYTHING loaded into the pods. They went the extra mile with helping us load our pods. Heavy foot movers are top notch and I would use them again in a heartbeat!

Joe is the hardest working and professional mover I’ve used! He was thoughtful about how to move our 50 year old heavy, oversized professional range - not an easy task. With help from his son, they used the right vehicle (trailer with a low ramp) and were knowledgeable about how to angle and maneuver the range loading and unloading. I so appreciate that I got a call back within the week (only one other mover called back) and that Joe made sure we understood the process. We hired Heavy Foot Movers to move an office into storage units. They showed up on time and worked hard. They knew how to efficiently pack the moving truck to fit everything and were equally adept on packing it into storage units while maintaining access down the center. The job was more involved than estimated and they handled it very professionally and still got the job done. Despite a shortage of moving blankets nothing was damaged, and Joe was very upfront explaining the dangers associated with moving some fragile and excessively heavy items. I highly recommend contacting them for your moving needs.

Joe at Heavy Foot and his team were total lifesavers! Our house sold faster than anticipated and due to 1) the ongoing pandemic 2) living out of state from where we were selling, we needed movers who were competent, trustworthy, and able to coordinate with us from a long distance. Needless to say, moving can be a challenge in the best of times - and being out of state in a pandemic with 30 days to close was far from an easy situation. Joe and his men went above and beyond for us! They were able to maximize the space in our pod, handle changes on the fly, and were super responsive. The value they provided was tremendous and knowing how hard is it to find good movers, we’ll be recommending Joe without reservation to everyone we can!

These guys are fabulous. They show up on time. Work quickly and take the utmost care of your stuff. Not a single item damaged or wall marked. They are friendly and helpful. We have hired them 3 times and have been very pleased with each one. We had three full sized PODs moved from out of state to our new home. There is no way my wife and I could have unloaded them in less than a week. These guys did it in two hours. Not only that, they had to take the stuff to a basement, which would have taken us another week. We highly recommend Joe and Heavy Foot. One thing I must say, I did not observe any of the bad behavior or crew smoking Tyler C described during the three times Heavy Foot helped us. Anyone reading the reviews should be HIGHLY SUSPICIOUS of the review by Tyler C as it is not consistent with what we and others have observed on multiple occasions.

Heavy Foot Movers were very helpful and responsive. We had two 16 foot PODS containers and they unloaded both within two hours. They took care with the furniture and our ney painted walls. We would definitely use them again.

They helped us load up a 16 ft POD. I was sure everything wasnt going to fit but they made it work with room to spare. They also were conscious of delicate items and were easy to work with. Would use again if we were staying in the area.

Nothing but good things to say! Prompt, polite, professional, and clearly a well-oiled machine. They unloaded my 16’ PODS container within the timeframe originally estimated with no difficulty. I was working remotely on several conference and training calls while they were moving my belongings into a 2nd floor apartment and, beyond a few directional questions, my ability to do my job while they did theirs was never interrupted. After a massive cross country trip, this took loads of stress off my plate and I would work with them again IN A HEARTBEAT.

We used Heavy Foot Movers the last week in July to load two trucks, a 26' and a 16'. Prior to the move, we spoke with the owner, Joe, on the phone several times to confirm the schedule and what our inventory was. The loaders arrived on time. I had booked them for 3 hours but they stayed almost 6....my fault. I totally underestimated how much we had to pack, specifically boxes. They didn't leave until everything was completed, past 9pm. They were extremely careful of our belongings, very friendly and respectful and did an absolutely amazing job of packing. Nothing moved or was damaged in the trip. The team of 4 worked well together, lead by Joe. DO NOT HESITATE TO USE HEAVY FOOT...we're extremely happy we moved this way...it saved our backs and saved us thousands of dollars.

Wow! Joe and team did a great job in moving our stuff. They arrived exactly on time and are focused professionals. Very friendly and helpful. Heavy Foot has a light touch, :) and they were very careful l with all of our belongings. They moved heavy, cumbersome pieces up turning staircases and through tight door frames, measuring beforehand to ensure the item could be safely moved. They took the time to confirm all furniture placements and rearranged as needed. They assembled items with all of the right tools. I am amazed by how much they accomplished despite blistering heat! This was the second time I have hired Joe and would definitely call him again.
