Used them for moving and have had the rest of my furniture in storage. They've been great, Ellen makes the process easy and answers all your questions. Needed to get a few things out of storage and they were easy to work with and quick to schedule. Its been a great experience thus far. Movers were on time, careful and super nice, on a sub zero day last year.

We used Greene Moving & Storage for an in-town move on fairly short notice. They were able to coordinate a smooth move to get everything out of an apartment (a third floor walkup) and a storage locker into our new house on one truck. Robert & Troy were friendly and professional, and they handled everything really well. They were able to get everything on the right floors and in the right areas, leaving plenty of space for making our way through all the boxes and furniture after they left. Hopefully we won't need to move again any time soon, but I'd definitely recommend them to a friend!

Greene Moving is fantastic and so easy to work with. Chaunsey, Troy, and Luke all helped moved us from Norwich to Vernon and were professional, courtesy, polite, and efficient every step of the way. We also had to move our moving dates a few times and Ted and the office staff were always very accommodating. Highly recommend.

Great experience. The guys were on time, handled my stuff with care, with a ton of fun to have around the house, were great with my dog, and then moved my stuff out and in with no problems. Courteous, efficient, responsible. And the total cost came in right at the estimate. I would definitely use them again.

I got “ghosted” by a smaller moving company prior to booking with Greene. I went with Greene because of the reputation, and even the person I kept talking to on the phone was so good, pleasant and knowledgeable. My movers - Ted and Abdul, we’re excellent!! So professional, very fast, and kept all of my belongings safe. I would definitely use Greene again, especially if it was these 2 guys! Great experience.

Greene was fantastic. They showed up at 8:30 on the dot as scheduled, and worked efficiently and quickly. Everything made it into the van, across town and into the new house with no damage to a single item we own. They were friendly, accommodating and professional. The played great music (and checked to make sure the music didn’t bother us) and were super upbeat and cheerful. Moving is so stressful and these guys definitely helped alleviate some of that stress. I couldn’t be happier with their service. I highly recommend them to anyone moving locally.

Everyone at the firm are true professionals, very responsive and very reasonably priced. Moving is rarely easy, but the team at Greene made the entire process from beginning to end the best that it could possibly be. For our most recent move, the estimator showed up for our appointment on time, was a pleasure to work with and promptly provided a reasonable and accurate estimate. Scheduling the move was easy and on the day of the move the movers were a team of true professionals who took pride in their work, were responsive to our requests, showed care and attention to every detail, demonstrated fantastic work ethic, did not waste a minute of time, and throughout the move were friendly and engaging with each other and with us. I do want to make clear that I did not hire their services personally, but rather had the good fortune to meet one of their crews while moving items into a storage facility in Groton CT. The entire team was very friendly and professional. And talk about fast and efficient! They unloaded an entire moving truck in the time it took my sons and I to empty a small 10' U-Haul! If I was ever to use pros for a move, I'd consider them first. Top notch!

Great company, Competitive Pricing! My company hired Greene moving for an office move in May 2017. They were able to schedule us on short notice before a holiday weekend. The team was professional and efficient. Exceeded our expectations. They were worth every penny to make our move easier. I hired Greene to move my 2 Bedroom household from CT to PA. The service from Greene Moving was very professional. They showed up exactly at the time we agreed on, packed all my stuff and left. Everything was packed perfectly and loaded with care. They again delivered my stuff next day at Philly exactly on the agreed time. They unloaded with care and setup almost everything ( except the stuff we asked not to unpack). I am still unpacking all our staff and had not find any broken or damaged goods yet. The price was very reasonable, I had inquired with a lot of packers-movers and I have received different quotation varying the amount by a lot. My quote with Greene was a median quote but the service I received was exceptional. For the future customers, one more thing I would like to mention, you often hear about movers charge extra after you pack and move your staff and that sort of, but Greene came to inspect beforehand and provided me a quotation which was not changed by a penny. I certainly recommend this company to my family and friends.

Just had a local move done and had a great experience from start to finish.I am a professional in an area where customer relations and satisfaction are critical, and consider myself knowledgeable in this area. So I was even more impressed by the high quality of the whole experience, beginning with Patrick Greene's estimate process- he is extremely personable and professional- very easy to like. Moving day came with Mitch,Larry and Josh, each more friendly and respectful than the next. We had some very heavy pieces of furniture that had to go up two flights of stairs, twisting and turning a lot of very awkward weight, but they got it done. They worked efficiently and quickly, and actually came in under the estimate. Couldn't have been more impressed! I heartily recommend them to anyone considering a move.

We used Greene for our office move and they did an excellent job and were reasonably priced. They disassembled and reassembled our office cubicles, a conference room table, and a reception desk. They also moved our copier and a large plotter along with everything else in our office. Joe was very professional and knowledgeable and was very accommodating of all our requests. Hired Greene Moving & Storage for our recent move. Following the move my husband put it perfectly, "It was like moving with friends!" From the moment Mitchell visited our home to provide a quote, I knew Greene would be the company we chose. Not only were they local, but their customer service was top notch. Throughout the quoting process we were provided tips/tricks to not only make our move smooth, but to save us money! All my questions following the quote were answered quickly and clearly. On the day of the move our crew showed up on time, were extremely professional (but very friendly and down-to-earth), and ensured that everything was moved/loaded as we desired. They did a FABULOUS job and made quick work loading/unloading 14 years of "stuff". Hiring Greene was one of the best decisions of our home buying process. Not only were they wonderful across the board, but they were the cheapest of 3 places quoted! I would 100% recommend Greene!

They flawlessly executed the very difficult move of a large copier on the 3rd floor of a historic home with a narrow stairwell, and were very accommodating during the move. I am a Realtor in Ct and I look for great business owners all the time. I was looking for a Moving & Storage company and didn't know these guys. However, I asked two BNI members, one being my husband, and they both came up with this company. Both of them raved about the customer service. I am posting this because I believe the reviews are inaccurate. However, I am referring them to a client of mine now and will post an update as soon as they're done. I will also ask my client to post a review when done.

I recommend looking at better business bureau and other review sources before taking to heart the negative reviews on this company. I've used Greene in the past to move and they were very professional, fast, courteous and reasonably priced. I will be moving again in the next month and intend to use them. I can only suspect that the extremely poor reviews are either mistaking Greene for a different company, or possibly local competition looking to undermine.

Edit to add this was in January 2017 and my stuff did make it, nothing was broken. The guys doing the packing definitely seemed like they didn’t want to be there. Then, they ran out of tape and stood around waiting for someone to bring them more instead of continuing to work. Thankfully I didn’t have too much stuff so I’m I only used their minimum amount of time. If I had a bigger move there definitely would have been issues.

I've use these guys 2x and they're amazing. They've moved my antique dressers flawlessly both times, it's really an artwork. They also use their own thick blankets and equipment to cover glass and Televisions. Always on time and friendly too, definitely recommend
