This has got to be one of the absolute best companies to come drive for. If nobody has ever told you that you are a good worker then do not waste your time applying. You work hard they will take care of you, you don't work hard and you won't get verry far :)

To be honest Sweet is a good company. They just need some loyal dispatchers to assist with corrections. Transportation, nice lodging , and I think pay; I don’t really remember but I was well taken care of. It really depends on your trainer and dispatcher to see how your success will go further. Besides everything they on time with breakdowns never neglected me when I needed help and made sure I was safe. I only left because my dispatcher changed and my money started looking funny. They have local, regional and OTR. Plenty options.

I’ve been driving for Sweet Express going on 2 years now and I couldn’t be more happy with the way things have been going for me here. I can honestly say as a driver I’ve been treated with nothing but respect and like family, everyone is really understanding and the driver managers are awesome. They always take care of me as a driver, the pay is really good, home time is great and my wheels are always turning ! I've been here almost 9 months and this is hands down the absolute best place I've ever driven for. I don't plan on ever leaving. It's actually a family more then a company. I highly recommend coming to work here for drivers idk about any other positions.

Love this place..goin on my 4th year? I think? Whenever ive had problems n needed help even if someone to talk to someones always listened whether my dm or janine in safety.. i wouldnt even have my laptop i have now if the owner didnt come out of pocket himself.. of course i paid it back but still.. anytime i wanna go somewhere different they at least try to... granted it might take awhile bc freight etc.. love these guys

4 months in now. This company overall is Great. The people are kind and understanding and willing to listen to constrictive feedback. Solid Teamwork Skills. Great hometime. The trucks are nice and well maintained. Best maintenance department I've ever worked with. My only complaint and it's really not a complaint just be nice if they had better amenities for the drivers at the two yards. That old abandoned shop could easily be renovated and remodeled into a driver lounge with showers and washer and dryer for clothes. Even have space for a couple of bunk rooms for when drivers trucks are broke down for a couple days and even possible use for orientation drivers help cut back on hotel costs. Maybe also have a small gym too. Would be great to have maybe a company car for drivers to use to get food and supplies would definitely help cut down PC use. But otherwise I am happy here. I could definitely see myself here for years to come. Also side note we need a company store with hats, shirts, hoodies, cup, the have Sweet Express logo. If I had some company swag it would be easier to recruit drivers and attract new customers. I used to hand out hats to potential new recruits when I work for a previous employer.

I’ve been with Sweet Express over a year. Hands down the best company I’ve worked for, I like to remain loyal to companies that do right by me. Respect is given both ways here. Like any place nothing is ever going to be perfect. But they treat you like a person and not a number. People in the office definitely knows you by name. I normally run at nights and they try their best to fit my needs. Whenever I need repairs or any accommodations they are quick to help. If you come here come with the intentions of working, there is work. Put out results show that you want more and it will show on your checks.They always get you home on time.This company care about your overall health as well. This industry takes a toll on you. But be open and communicate, it’s key to making the office better as well as ourselves. Plan on being here until i am truly ready to get involved in a local position.

But my Mentor was very rude guy didn’t teach me anything especially backing he was just using to get more money other than that everyone at the company was like family .but that guy should never be a Trainer because he will just you as a student to get more money never teach you how to back the Trailer.and his name is Dwayne.

When I left the company, I made SURE to park the truck on the yard AND I cleaned THAT truck AND another that I drove. After a little fuss I got my pet deposit back. Ups and downs like any place else. People are friendly. Not a bad place to work as a company driver. Idk about the lease side.

Sweet Express/Omni for myself is the best OTR experience I’ve been with, and I’ve been with several companies in my past. Trust me when I say they know my name in both good and bad situations. I’m a person who’s out here to do the job, not play games. Like other companies anyone has ever been to can relate that there’s those who are great in the business, as well as those who don’t belong in the industry. I’ve had a couple dispatchers who did me dirty, but there are professionals in there that I’ve known since I had started back in 2012/2013. There are many I call my friends and family there. For every American based companies I’ve worked for, this company is by far the best company I’ve worked for. I’m happy I’ve gotten the experience to be here and watch and be part of the growth!!!

Had a really good experience so far. The driver instructor who took me out for my driving test made me feel at ease. I was so nervous at first Cause I've drove nothing but a Volvo for the last 5 to 6 yrs. And I took the test in an International one. So different. Came back a yr later went on my 1st load back and got the call wife in hosp in medically induced coma sweet got me home asap from Denver to Tampa for her also found out my at least 4 people from sweet office contacted hosp to check on her while I was in transit to get there let me stay home for a week to make sure she was ok except for calls to see how she was I was never asked to leave her till I was ready best co.pany I've ever worked and I've been driving 22 years

If there is a company you want to work and drive for it is this one! So this is my update after a year of working for this company. This is the best company that you can work for all the miles you can drive. And one of the best companies that’s out here on the road I can’t wait until it expands even more because the driver managers are awesome I’ve had no complaints whatsoever.

I have been with Sweet express for a little over a year. In that year I was honestly a little worried because of previous experiences at other companies. I have found a very comfortable family environment at the office, everyone is so nice! the trucks here are well maintained. If i need anything on my truck I call my DM and they will make sure my truck is taken care of asap. Safety is important to this company. They never ask you to drive over your hours, and plan loads very well with the time you have available on your clock. If you want to drive they will keep you going! I average 3000 miles per week, some weeks are less some are more depending on hours, or things like maintenence, or repairs but they pay for breakdown and layovers so it doesnt doesn't hurt too much in the paycheck. If I ask for hometime the answer is always "no problem, when do you want to go home" just have to be reasonable... They'll work with you in an emergency. I can talk all day about the good things Ive experienced here, I dont have any negative things to say. Im sure other people have other experiences here but this has been my experience so far. I plan on retiring here and maybe staying after retiring if theyll let me lol Overall Im very happy to work for Sweet Express

As with most companies they have their ups and downs, but this is the most comfortable place I've ever worked at. It really saddens me that in this industry when a driver doesn't get what they want or does something wrong they refuse to take responsibility for their actions and immediately go to the internet to post a bad review about a company that did everything possible to give them a chance. I recently recruited a driver with only four months experience, he swore he could pass a driving test. I then found out that not only did he fail the driving test, but the tester had to drive the truck back to the terminal. He then went on to leave a company review of one star. On his review he made it out that it was the company's fault. He also said in his review that the company didn't follow through on their promises of home time and pay etc. My question to that person, how can you possibly review a company that you didn't even work for because you weren't even capable of passing a simple road test? anyone reading these reviews should think about things like that when they see a bad review. 90% of the time, it's a driver who didn't get their way or did something wrong and refuses to take responsibility for his or her own actions. If you're looking for companies to work for, this is one of the better ones. And again, when you see a bad review, think about the source of that review, especially from someone with only four months experience.
