This storage facility is outstanding! I’ve rented quite a few over the years, and this is one of the cleanest I’ve ever used. LaSondra, the manager, is super. She is totally in tune to what is going on in the facility and takes pride in keeping things clean and in order. The unit I rented is spotless and a great value for the size. I highly recommend storing at this Dino’s location.

LaSondra is amazing. I have rented from here for 3 months now and literally haven’t seen her in 3 months, I walk in and she remembered my name and everything. Great customer service. I always felt safe with my stuff there and she runs a great business. Definitely suggest using this storage unit.

Dino's is the only storage in Des Moines Iowa I would trust. There climate controlled storage units are nice and clean. LaSondra is absolutely amazing and does her job with excellence! She made our experience plesant and she was always patient and willing to take the time to ensure we understood their policies which were fair. The manager at Dino's is awesome!! She's very helpful and the process of getting a storage unit was very easy. She always answered the phone right away if I had any questions or issues. I've kept my items at Dino's for 9 months and I'm very glad I chose them over other storage facilities. Would give 10 stars if I could!

I am a repeat customer of this business and this location. There has been some management changes for the better! I was able to look at the units available and the pricing online and promptly received a follow up call from LaSondra at the 2nd Avenue location here in Des Moines, IA. She was very professional, and suggested sizes based on my needs. She sent me all the documents electronically and within an hour, I had everything in place for my rental! I am very pleased with her service and professionalism.

Staff in Des Moines was nice and helpful. Pricing was competitive, the unit was clean, and moving in and out was easy. They do require more paperwork than other places and billing is a bit less than transparent, I believe corporate is to blame for both of those - but the people here were helpful in working through all of it.

I couldn't have found a better storage facility for my Drake University graduate's belonging! LaSondra at the 2nd Avenue facility rocks!!! She made the entire rental experience, from beginning to end and everything in between, easy peazy! Communication, whether it was in person, via phone or e-mail, was prompt, courteous and never seemed a bother. LaSondra runs a tight ship, all to the benefit of her customers. If you're looking for storage in the metro area - LaSondra at Dino's on 2nd Avenue is the BEST!

Positive experience. Had two storage units for nearly 3 years. I had access to my units at any time I wished. Having auto payments I never had to worry about whether I was paid or not. There was a turnover of staff there but everyone I dealt with was helpful and friendly. They made my move out experience as stress free as possible. Dino's at 2nd Ave, Des Moines. The place to store your belongings. Thank you especially to Dave and La Sandra. 5 Stars from me.

Great experience and a great storage location. Excellent customer service, easy to access 24/7, and most importantly getting to our stuff was a breeze with the available carts and elevators. My last storage experience at a U-Haul site, had all of the units up on a 6 stair riser for some reason, which made packing and unpacking it way too difficult. That wasn't a problem here at Dino's and I would highly recommend this business to anyone looking for a great spot close to downtown Des Moines.

I moved in with my Mother to take care of her and had to put all my belongings from my 1200 sq ft house in the storage unit. I went to the one on 2nd Ave that had climate control. It was secure and I would check on it every now and then and things were just fine. I'm in the process of moving out of the storage unit now and they are very kind and all of my stuff appears just fine. I saw a few mouse droppings but nothing like I have seen in prior storage companies. I would rent from Dino's again if I had to.

Great storage place!! Mary was truly heaven-sent as she worked with me after I unexpectedly went into labor the day I was supposed to sign papers for my storage unit. Everything from emailing me my documents to helping my mom and step dad find my unit to get my and my new baby girl's things unloaded. I'll never forget the how friendly and patient she was with me!

I've never used them (I dont have enough stuff to store somewhere other than my basement). However, my sister and BIL have used them a couple of times and keep going back when they need a storage space (usually when they move). They seem to like the service they receive and the price is pretty fair. The storage units range in size and they've got a couple different locations in DSM so you may not have to drive across town to access your stuff.

The owners of Dino Storage are providing the local neighborhood association with a free storage unit to help their efforts with hosting events and making the area a better place. Their units are clean, and larger than one would expect looking at the building from the outside.

This was a great place, the customer service was great, they even offer a free moving truck to use, and pricing was affordable. The only thing I didnt like was that they dont pro-rate out, they will pro-rate in. So I ended up paying a month on a unit that was emptied on the 2nd day of the month. But all in all I had no problems and I would recommend them

Dino's Storage is the best storage company I have used. Their customer service is just that, geared towards the customer. The facility is clean, well lighted, climate controlled, and easy to get in out of.

The new people who work the counter need some customer service training. She had me locked out while she was helping another customer and didn't even have the courtesy to open the door during business hours let me in and tell me how long it was going to be so that I could leave and come back she just stared at me while I was out there. Forty-five min later after I leave and come back she still has the door locked and is still ignoring that I'm out there.

Nice and clean, but be careful if you're one day late on your payments! They slap an exorbitant late fee on your bill and lock up your unit so you can't have access to it.

Was helping someone move. It was a huge pain since individual units do not have lights. Made it near impossible to see in large units.They do provide trollies to move things from units to the truck or vehicle which was nice.
