Bellhop first cancelled on us due to weather though we still received other deliveries on the same day. Then, they rescheduled us on a day their truck lot was closed, so they couldn’t move our possessions the second scheduled day. Third scheduled day was a charm with a discount since the second scheduled day was their error. Our moving team however, was great (aside from the driver). Eddie was very polite and helpful. Joel seemed very experienced and just ready to work. Eddie and Joel did a great job helping to coach Abraham on things. Abraham was quiet, but very helpful and never stopped working. Would recommend all of these three guys. Our driver just sat in the truck the entire time. Maybe that is their business model that the driver doesn’t actually help move things?

This company is awesome to work with and the actual movers done an excellent job. I usually move every two to three years and this is the best company I have ever worked with on a move, The Best! They are beyond professional and their communications is spot on. I never felt like I was guessing or didn't know something. Highly recommend above other moving companies I Promise

Our three man crew for our move were FANTASTIC!! They were prompt, communicative, courteous, and very careful with our belongings. We hired Bellhops based on a word of close recommendation, and are SO glad we did. We would also highly recommend them to anybody/anyone needing a high quality professional moving company! If I could give it more than 5 stars I would. This company is outstanding from the moment I booked online our reservations, up until the moving day. We had 3 excellent movers that explained everything in detail. All 3 guys were extremely hard workers. Very friendly, professional and well mannered. They wrapped all my furniture so perfectly. Overall I was very impressed with Bellhop... They arrived at my house exactly on time despite it being rush hour on a Monday morning, and no power in the entire county including traffic lights. Traffic was backed up for miles, I have no idea how they possibly made it on time but they did. My move was right in between needing one or two trucks. The guys did such a great job packing it that I ended up only needing 1 truck, saved me ~$4,000. They also arrived right on time to my new home across the country and had the truck unloaded in less than hour. My rep Jesse was very communicative. In a post Covid world is feels like all customer service has been a disaster. Nice to see a company take pride in proper communication and customer service. I also got quotes from a number of other companies and Bellhop was the cheapest. Highly recommend using these guys. Great service and fair price.

They were an outstanding team and Eddie was a very communicative lead. They shared advice pre move and showed up early. They would have finished early if not for my uhaul issues and need to upgrade to a larger trailer. Eddie, Jordan and Nick were compassionate and stay around for 2-3 hours to finish packing.

These guys came in ready to go. They moved in a 2800 sq foot 4 story townhouse in 2 hours…. That included getting some heavy stuff on the top floor and a 200lb 92 inch dining room table on the 2nd floor (thing is no joke). Not only did they get it all in with no issues, they were fun to work with. They cracked jokes, had high energy and made it stress free. Moving 2000 miles with a baby could have been hard but it was really what Bellhop is about, a stress free moving experience.

In fact, they got us all loaded up so quickly that we had to wait a bit before we could move into our new place because we couldn't get the keys from the leasing office until 12p! Definitely would recommend Bellhop if you need friendly, efficient, careful movers.

They took great care with our items and their extensive experience showed with how they were able to fit everything into our uHaul van!! Used them again for the 2nd time for my move this weekend. Matthew and Kevin were my bellhops and they were quick and very efficient. They are really hard working guys. Even if I kept adding more stuff as they were loading, it wasn't a problem for them. I packed all my stuff except for the couch, but they were nice enough to wrap it in plastic to protect it. Would highly recommend these guys. Pretty good experience both times. They finished 1 hour early before the estimated 3 hours. Price was really fair and affordable too!

Super awesome movers. Had a ton of boxes and a mish mesh of furniture. The guys were super nice and fast. Moved a whole house out and into the next in a little more than 2 hours! Even got my giant couch into my new basement even though the stair well was small. They figured it out! Definitely recommend!

I've just used Bellhops for the first time for two subsequent days of moving. First, I love how Bellhops communicates with you before your move so you know you're taken care of. They send you photos of your Bellhops in advance and the lead will message you directly the day before to check in and confirm your time and see if you have questions. Day 1 was Dustin D. and Edgar R. Day 2 was Justin D. and Chris W. All four were excellent! Punctual, polite, careful, efficient, friendly, and great communicators. Both pairs had the challenge of getting heavy and bulky furniture down a 100-year old flight of narrow and steep stairs. Dustin and Edgar got my couch down and Justin and Chris got the washer and dryer. (The washer is crazy heavy, but those guys were super strong!) I will definitely use Bellhops again for other jobs! Thanks guys!

We did a long distance move from Chicago, IL to Denver, CO. Bellhops was in contact with me from the time we made the arrangements until after the last box was moved. We had a few hiccups, which set us back some. First, the moving truck was 2 hours late in Chicago. So our movers, who got there at noon, didn't have a ton to do until the truck got there at 2. I was not changed extra for them, and my move coordinator credited me some money back. Charles, Joshua, Esteban, and Allan were fantastic in Chicago. They were all very communicative, friendly, and careful with all our stuff. On the other end in Denver, we were not able to get there in time to explain to the movers where everything had to go. So I talked to the lead mover, Haydn, and explained where to put a few items. The only major thing was that our food pantry, which is heavy, got put in our downstairs bedroom, although I asked for it to be put outside of the kitchen. So my tiny girlfriend and I had to get it upstairs before we could put our bedroom together. Although I did not meet Haydn, Connor, or Kyle in person, they did a great job of putting most everything where it belonged and worked very quickly. Bellhops overall was a terrific experience. I think a long distance move like this went about as good as it can go! Thanks Bellhops

They moved the packed boxes which we had already packed but did no unpacking just carried it over some pieces literally up two floors to my new apartment the one man was replaced by another man only Eli was there and he was very nice so that's why I did tip him someone else replace the other guy who told me he had to leave a little early to pick up his girlfriend and he never came back and left Eli there to do it with me because the man that I had to help had to leave at 4 it was all a little bit unusual but he'll I did the best you could buy himself with me at the end thank him for saying that he would help me but I couldn't carry any heavy furniture but I filled my own carts that I had when he helped fill them up and I pushed some of the carts as the other guy was gone all together it was just do the best we could with what happened and they didn't unpack anything in the new place they just helped move it around I've had some good ideas about where to place it. And they had some good ideas about where to place some of the other furniture that did help me out but did not unpack anything Eli was very nice and that's why I tipped him thank you very much for what you did do but it was also very unusual

This group of guys were amazing to work with. Everything was unloaded and moved into our place with no damage, quickly and efficiently. Everyone worked well together, communicating with each other and myself, when questions arose. I would rehire Griffin, Maurice, and Daniel over and over again. If you're looking for a local move this is the team for you! Liked Bellhop so much I used them again: The guys were very quick and efficient and worked together to get things done quickly but to our liking. They explained certain things they were doing and kept us in the loop the entire time. They were fantastic.

My bellhop guys were awesome! Matthew H and Ian were super friendly and polite and got the job done. Our driver and one bellhop were late due to another move running behind, but the other guys were super speedy. I was also informed that they were running late and was told I wouldn’t be charged for the delay. Once the driver and third bellhop arrived the move went quickly. My dresser did get a little banged up, I wish they would have wrapped it before it was moved. That being said, with it being only 15° outside I think they did a great job and I will definitely use Bellhops again!

Once we arrived at the new apartment, they were amazing when getting everything into my new place. Everything went very smooth - everyone we worked with was incredibly professional and kind and the price was amazing for the quality of the move. Nothing broken, and the movers were in contact the whole time and very prompt. First things first: Bellhop is a facilitator; they just hook you up with random local movers. Be aware. They were pretty good: Matthew, the lead, was good at communicating to see what I needed. Unfortunately, they were *supposed* to have the driver, lead, "muscle," and a recruit to complete my move, but the "recruit" didn't show up. Because of that, it took them an hour longer than quoted, which meant more $$ than they said it would be. The driver can't do any work: he has to stay with the truck. They were very respectful, and listened to where I wanted them to put things on the back end. They did crush the corner of my boxspring, but claimed they didn't drop it. All in all, I would say: better than Two Guys& a Truck, but I don't know that I would use them again.

They successfully moved all of our items within the time we paid for, they were friendly, and were mindful of our property, taking care of everything. We also appreciate the fact that they were both Marines. My husband and I are also Marine veterans so once we heard they were, we knew the job would get done, and get done the right way.

Our whole team of Bellhops were very polite, efficient and took great care of our belongings. Dustin D. took very special care of my garden gnome by driving him to our new house in his personal car and not the moving truck to ensure his safety. Our move went great thanks to these 5 guys! Andrew, Rob, Geo, Brandon, and William all worked SO hard!! They had great attitudes, were very helpful, friendly, communicative, and efficient. They were so helpful that at multiple times when I was carrying myself they would offer to take it from me so I didn't have to lift a thing. They got done very quickly. I was pretty disappointed in this moving service. While the movers were very nice and seemed to be doing their best, they were extremely slow. It took them 1hr to assemble a simple bed frame, and over 4 hours to move only large items in a 900 sq ft apartment, 4 minutes down the road to our new home. Some items were damaged in the move. They tried to charge us over $700 for the move. We received a small discount, but not nearly as much as we feel we should have.

I'm an incredibly shy and anxious person, but meeting Kyle and Brandon on my doorstep after I had just returned from getting their tip somehow told me everything was going to be fine. The entire time, the guys were careful with the furniture (despite my assurances that I didn't care what condition it came in, as long as it was in the house), and Brandon was keen on cracking jokes or making comments in order to get me to laugh or crack a joke right back. He was charming, kind, and seemed to light up anytime I smiled- which is pretty endearing if you ask me. Like most people, moving is an event I dread and loathe. In the past I've moved everything myself and at times convinced a few good friends to help me, in return for pizza and good beer! After many moves and life changes, I will no longer move without the services of professional movers! With moving companies, I highly recommend doing your homework. In the past I went with the cheapest rates I could find. Keep in mind that I am not correlating cost of service with quality of service, but some companies should not be in business. That was a horrible experience to say the least, but I digress. So while doing some research I came across Bellhops. They employ college students, and having been there, done that myself I totally empathized how challenging it can be to work and go to school simultaneously. So I kind of had a soft spot for them, which played a huge part in my decision. They weren't the most expensive, nor were they the cheapest. Coincidentally, they had a Groupon for a good deal. They had some solid reviews and the price with the Groupon was definitely within my budget. My previous experience with movers made me quite hesitant to move forward (no pun intended). Prior to purchasing the Groupon, I called Bellhops to see what they were about and how they would handle the Groupon purchase. The young woman I spoke with was very nice and helpful, and asked all the appropriate questions which made me confident in my choice to hire Bellhops. The appointment setup was a breeze since I scheduled 3 weeks in advanced. I received a confirmation email the same day. The week prior to the move, I called Bellhops to confirm the appointment. The young woman confirmed my appointment in their system and informed me that the movers would call me the day before to confirm the appointment once more. She even told me who was scheduled to move me. The day before the move I received an email confirming my appointment with pictures and bios of the two guys scheduled. I also received a call from Jack the same day to confirm the appointment. The morning of my move, Jack and Felipe arrived 5 minutes early and introduced themselves to me with a smile and a handshake (cool headbands and all). We discussed the items to be moved prior to start so that they had a good idea of what to expect and if any items needed special attention. One item in particular was my girlfriend's dresser. It was her grandma's and it meant a lot to her. They moved it from our apartment, down the stairs, and in to the truck with the utmost care (and fairly quick too)! All of our things from our one bedroom apartment were loaded in to the truck within an about hour. Once we arrived to the new place, they took the same amount of care of our belongings and made sure that we took it easy to let them do all the heavy lifting. All we had to do was hang-out in the new apartment and rest our feet! In all, we had a great experience with Bellhops. Jack and Felipe were friendly, courteous, upbeat, and professional! Even though we went over the expected time, not once did they complain or display any signs of frustration. I'm not sure if they had any other appointments, because the entire time they made us feel like priority one! If you are comparing moving services, I highly recommend going with Bellhops! We last minute had to add a third Bellhop to accommodate the move in the middle of a particularly hot Colorado summer. Haydn & Travis (and I am sorry I don't remember the 3rd young man's name!) were all wonderful to work with. It was like a well-oiled machine between the three of them. I kept asking them to take breathers & drink water (It was seriously 104 degrees the day of our move...)! If you're lucky enough to have Haydn leading the crew on your move, count your lucky stars as he's very professional & efficient. Would definitely recommend using them mostly for the great workers they have to handle your move.

The movers themselves were fine. However, I asked for movers for 2 hours and was told I’d be scheduled for 3 hours just in case more time was needed but wouldn’t have to pay for what I didn’t use. Sure enough, the move was under 3 hours (even with the truck driver getting lost for over 15 minutes on a 10 minute drive) and I still got charged for all 3 hours. I called about the extra charges and heard nothing back from anyone, they just went ahead and charged my card. Next time I’m going with someone else. UPDATE: After seeing my Google review my refund was quickly issued back to my credit card for the time unused, so I changed my rating from 1 star to 4 stars. Thank you, BellHops!

So I totally owe my Bellhops an apology. First, we were unable to nail down a move date until the Weds before our move - which was suddenly scheduled for Saturday. Do you have any idea how hard it is to find movers for the ever-popular weekend move, let alone with 3 days notice?!? It's fairly impossible, yet Bellhops figured it out and scheduled 2 guys who could assist us in unloading a 26' truck full of furniture from our home across the country. Here's where the problem came in. The day before our move, we got the email introducing our new Bellhops and one of them was (gasp!) a GIRL! From the photo she looked about my height, weight, and build and I immediately became concerned. I knew there were some super-heavy items on that truck - including a very large, bulky headboard, a tall, heavy cupboard, and a 400-lb dining table (no joke). Plus a zillion other not-so-heavy-but-definitely-not-fun-things to try and manipulate down the narrow stairway of our new home. A GIRL couldn't possible have the muscle to lift those things! I called Bellhops to ensure they understood our needs involved some seriously heavy lifting and, while they assured me both crew members had passed strength tests, I silently panicked. How could I find another big, burly guy with less than 24 hours notice? We started calling around and Bellhops also agreed to try and find a 3rd crew member (at their expense) to ease my concerns. In the end, we were out of luck - we were "stuck" with just MacKenzie (the GIRL!) and Erik. Long story short, we couldn't have been more pleased with those two! Erik was built like Popeye and MacKenzie had NO PROBLEM with any of the heavy lifting. More importantly, they were on time, polite, professional and they worked their tails off! They never once complained, nor did they want to take any breaks. It wasn't until the end of our time that I learned our move was Erik's 3rd of the day and MacKenzie's 2nd!!! Bottom line, MacKenzie and Erik were AWESOME, my husband and I ate crow for dinner, and Bellhops should be your next phone call. Do it.
