We were in incredibly pleased with the first part of our move with Baileys! They’ll be holding my father’s belongings for two months, then moving everything from CO to AZ when he has his new home. The packers came the day before the move and were very efficient, friendly and professional! They did a great job of packing up prints and artwork that we didn’t want to pack on our own. The movers came the next morning, exactly on time, and did an amazing job! They were professional, neat and respectful of my dad’s belongings. They carefully packed our piano and curio cabinets - taking their time to do it properly. They finished up exactly when we thought they would and we were able to get on the road and head to AZ that day. We’re very pleased with this part of our move!!

Bailey's have gone above and beyond to exceed my expectations. They're team is fantastic! Awesome communication. The packers were wonderful and still can't believe they packed up our large house in 1 day! The movers were top notch and handled all our antiques and possessions with the upmost care. Our driver, Trace, who moved our load to Florida, stayed in touch with us the entire way, and even had to navigate a category 4 hurricane on route. I can't sing enough praise for this amazing moving company. Too often you hear horror stories about people's moves.... not with Bailey's - they set the bar high!!!

I was nervous about working with movers because of the stories I’ve heard but Bailey’s shows you how moving SHOULD be. Easy. Organized. Nice people. I would recommend this company to anyone!! The first part of the process you work with a project manager who coordinates all of your move. This was so helpful because our plans changed a few times and they were right there to help. The actual move is done by a team of professionals who are SO good at their jobs. Everything is packed with care and we loved how nice all the movers and packers were. It really felt like they cared about making it an easy process. They have multiple well thought out systems that keep you organized and up to date. They made moving sooooooo much easier and we can’t thank them enough!!

The guys that were doing our move were fantastic. Very professional but were also very friendly and really seemed to enjoy their jobs. We had two trucks a few weeks apart and both teams were great. They were very helpful in placing the items where we needed them and dealing with the difficult driveway and garage were no issue for them. My experience with Bailey's has been great! The original estimate was almost spot on. The coordination and actual move out went well and the moving guys were respectful, professional and awesome. We temporarily stored furniture with Bailey's and when we asked if we could come in and take furniture out that we didn't want to move to our new location, they went above and beyond to help us with that. Bailey's was always responsive to my requests. When my plans changed, they were able to change with me. Their cost quote was accurate. I had only one damaged item, and haven't claimed yet. They provided claim forms quickly, but otherwise I don't know how that will go. The only issue I had was with the unloading. The driver wanted to pile all the boxes in the garage and not take them to the appropriate rooms. The unloading crew on site overruled the driver and placed the boxes where they belonged.

The movers did an excellent job in moving our furniture especially considering we had a number of tough, heavy items that needed to go both up stairs and then downstairs for the move. They worked quickly and were extremely professional. The price was very fair and we would use them again if the need arose.

Bottom Line: A bit disappointing. We had never used professional movers before. We thought we were getting the best—and paid accordingly. They packed the fragile stuff and appeared careful in loading. Nevertheless, we ended up with some small dings on our cherry furniture and one destroyed dining-set chair. The latter cost us $500—the insurance deductible—to replace. We received a "binding estimate" that included up to 90 days of "in transit storage" while we searched for a new home. We were able to arrange delivery after a month. We have yet to unpack and examine all items in the cartons packed by Bailey’s, but those we have opened were well-packed and the contents undamaged. Our current home is temporary and we will be moving again within a year. When I contacted Bailey's/Allied to deal with the damaged chair, I was informed there is a 9-month window for claims, but that a claim must be made prior to another move. Thus, we will be opening all of the cartons in the weeks ahead. A check from Allied for the remainder of the cost to replace the broken chair arrived within a few weeks of the delivery. Our final cost for the move—excluding the $500 deductible we had to pay when ordering a replacement chair—was $1000 less than the binding estimate, presumably due to the greatly reduced time in storage. Still, I find it disheartening to pay $15,300 for an 1100-mile move that might have been accomplished equally well for several thousand dollars less using one 26-foot truck, which both the loaders and unloaders told us would have been able to hold all our belongings.

We just made our first move in 35 years and had over 3000 sq.ft. of over whelming accumulation. Our scheduled packer and mover cancelled on us just one week before our scheduled cross country move, so we were left scrambling to find a new mover. Bailey Moving really saved us from a horrible situation. They responded to our situation immediately. The crew of both packers and loaders were friendly, efficient and professional and we were only 10 days behind our original schedule. Everyone from Kara in the office and Dan who orchestrated the loading and unloading at our new home, deserve huge accolades for making our situation as painless as possible. My husband and I feel that the cancellation of our first mover was the best thing that could have happened because we were having doubts and some anxiety over him, and Bailey Moving took all of that away. This was my first time using a professional full service move. It was so much better than trying to do it all by myself. The packers came on one day for all the small items in my apartment and they had everything boxed up within 2 hours. The driver and a loading crew came the next day to do the large furniture and put everything on the truck, they were done in about 3 hours. For a long distance move this is the way to go. Let professionals handle it and save yourself the stress. The only cons I can say I experienced are the cost, which is well worth the service provided, but it is a significant increase over a DIY move. There was some sticker shock at first. The other thing is that I didn’t really have definitive dates on things until really last minute. I gave them a loading window of 3 days and found out that it would be on the last day of my window and then delivery had an initial window of nearly two weeks. While delivery was ultimately confirmed for about 3 days after loading, I also didn’t know that until the day before. Just made it a little difficult in deciding what to take myself to make sure I had clothes, toiletries, etc. for that in between time. I had everything they packed out into storage while I find a new place to live, so I cannot yet vouch for the way my stuff was handled or packed, but from what I did see everything was taken care of. I was informed of a 90-day window to file claims just in case, but hopefully I don’t have to. Overall, I recommend using Bailey’s if you can afford that type of move.

Great company. They were able to accommodate a delayed closing date by storing our things on the truck for a couple of days before getting in to the new location. Jamie was super helpful with this. I have to say this was one of the best moves I have ever had! I was VERY pleased with my movers (Jaun and Oscar Ponce, Juan R., Cain A., and Franco, and ZZ1). They were exceptional from start to finish on both sides of the move. They came in and assessed what they needed to do and without much guidance everyone had their assigned tasks and got to work. It was not a small task either, they had to move a 5200 sq ft home. But they took great care not just with my items but with my home (both move out and move in). They covered the floors, carpeting, stair railings, and even the stair walls. (I wish they could have trained the subcontractors that built my new home). They were efficient and worked so well together. This was a team that liked each other and their job. They were also patient with me when I was indecisive on where to put furniture and even went back and recovered my carpeting on the stairs when they saw I had an appliance being delivered. I have to give a special thanks to Barb (Customer Service Manager). There were some over charges on the bill and when it was brought to her attention, she made sure that everything was corrected quickly and to my satisfaction. I have to say overall, Bailey's Moving and Storage is a rare find in today's world. I definitely will be recommending them and using them again on my next move!

Bailey's just helped me move from Colorado to Michigan. I was very worried when choosing a company because all of the bad reviews that are out there. We ended up selecting Bailey's/Allied because their delivery window was 9 days and all others were roughly 30 days. They were not the least expensive option but services were less expensive than I had expected they would be. We had their team pack, load and move and everything from beginning to end was done extremely well. The packing, loading and driving staff were all very pleasant and efficient. When my items arrived we didn't have anything that was broken during the move. Everything was delivered on day 3 of the 9 day delivery window. Bailey's also refunded us the delta from the estimated costs without us even having to ask. I couldn't be happier that we chose bailey's.

My entire experience was great! Bailey's moving was able to help me same day when my original movers canceled last minute. They walked me through the process and sent a quote within an hour. I received calls from the appropriate members of the team throughout the process. The moving crew was great. They were incredibly friendly and communicative. The crew used floor protection, wrapped all my belongings that were not in a box, and carefully checked the inventory before having me double check. Once my items were shipped, I received updates from the office of where my items left from, as well as, where they were being sent to. Once my shipment arrived (within the provided window), I was notified day of and the crew showed up later that afternoon. They made sure to be careful with all my belongings, offered to unwrap anything I wanted, and went through the inventory list to ensure everything was there and accounted for. I even received a call from the office where my belongings came from to ensure everything went well. I would HIGHLY recommend Bailey's Moving & Storage - they were worth every penny and I will be a repeat customer!

The service I received was top notch at each end of the relocation and i'm so thankful the level of quality and service improves with each move. I've used Baileys over 8 times across the country now and been lucky to have the same Relocation Coordinator Sherry who understands the importance of getting my family settled quickly along with taking care of any issues that might be minor to some but huge to getting comfortable in your new location. Overall, the customer service provided by Bailey's was very very good. The estimate process was thorough and complete, the pickup and delivery scheduling was within timeframes we were given, and the driver handling our load had a great deal of experience, was friendly, and well organized. The pickup process went extremely well. The driver even had the shuttle truck go to our storage space and load the stuff we had stored, at the same time the house was being loaded. This saved us a couple of hours on loading day, which was great. Also, the crew working on moving our belongings into the trucks were hard working, respectful, and communicated well with us throughout the process. Our driver called ahead the night before the delivery to let us know where he was and what time he expected to be at our new place the next morning. He was even a little early when he showed up. Overall, the delivery process went well, but not without some problems. A bunch of boxes got moved into the wrong rooms in the house, resulting in uncertainty while we were unpacking during the following week. I also saw several mishaps in the truck and when the workers were coming off the truck. They dropped several boxes and one of our plastic bins completely burst open on the ground. Thankfully no damage from that, except to the plastic bin. We also had some concealed damage, which we could not identify until later when we were opening boxes. Glass stemware was broken, a small metal table was bent out of shape, and similar things did not fare well, even though we packed everything really well in tons and tons of bubble wrap. Most disappointing was that a pane of glass in the grandfather clock my mother's uncle built was broken. I can't directly fault the mover or the workers though, since the clock was wrapped with blankets and in storage for the last 2 years. Overall, the moving experience was positive, with a few disappointing highlights. However, I don't expect perfection from movers and I always assume that some things will get broken. Fortunately, such incidents were few not expensive, and they can be fixed now that we are settled. Plus, there were no surprise cost overages when the truck arrived to make the delivery. Everything was done professionally and I was glad to have that part of the moving process over and done with. I would recommend Bailey's and Allied to anyone who asks.

This is the fifth time we have moved with Baileys. Four of our moves have been across country, but the last one was local. All phases of the move was well coordinated, from packing to loading, to unloading and follow-up. When we discovered that a tool chest had been left in our garage of our new home rather than taken to the basement , with one phone call our move coordinator sent out two people to move the tool chest to the proper location. If we ever need to move again, we will definitely use Bailey's. It is a excellent, dependable, company.

I worried that we would not receive very much money back because it can be tough to trust a company these days, especially when the card has already been run for a certain amount. Thanks so much for providing great customer service with honesty. Hard to come by these days! And I still give 5 stars even though there were a few broken picture frames. I think the young movers need a bit more guidance with that aspect of packing.

Baileys did a great job on my recent move. Anne’s crew of packers were friendly and efficient and Christian was the best driver ever; and his crew was phenomenal. Just sucks Tom didn’t quote for reassembly of some large pieces of Rogue Fitness equipment at my new place. They figured in reassembly by a third party specialty mover of a few pieces but apparently not the pieces that are difficult for one person to reassemble. It makes no sense why he had them completely disassemble everything at origin but not think I wanted it reassembled at the new house. 🤦🏻‍♂️ Also the packers were nice enough to have extra boxes on their van and also used some of mine that I had from Home Depot because he fell short on the box estimate. Other then that I wouldn’t hesitate to use Baileys Allied again.

They helped me finally empty out a storage unit I'd had in Denver for 8 years. I met the crew in Denver promptly at 8AM in the morning and they quickly loaded up all my stuff. While that isn’t a common and customary practice (usually over the road drivers pick them up and deliver them for interstate transactions which I believe would have been done perfectly, regardless!) I was blessed to have the same guys on both ends, just as is if my move was a local. Of course Andrew prevailed in his usual calm and professional way to keep me informed and on track for when they would arrive. Matthew and Juan showed up on time as expected and effected a very efficient delivery in spite of upheaval at the delivery point due to remodel construction going on. They were flexible and very accommodating and got the job done quickly and to my specifications. Baileys is a class act all the way around and I hope you will choose them. I would use them again and again based on the whole experience!

We used Bailey’s for a cross county move of our vacation home contents back to our permanent residence in Texas. Overall, it was a good experience, but it was not without a few hiccups. First, I prepared a detailed inventory of items that needed to be moved well over a month before the actual move. I was never informed that certain items, such as our mattresses, needed to be packed. So, on the day of our move, we had about an hour of panic as we scrambled to find packing materials. The crew was a little understaffed. We had a total crew of three, moving heavy items down three flights of stairs at 9000 feet altitude. At our unload back in Texas, they failed to follow my frequent instructions to move our items into our storage unit and attempted to unload at our house. This again caused about an hour of panic until I got them redirected. Again, this crew was understaffed. We had a total crew of two, which is inadequate for moving heavy items. The driver/foremen and his helper worked their butts off, but needed a third hand. The good news is that, at least so far, most of our items arrived in good shape. The driver/foremen, Leo, was a real hoot and great to talk to. He was part curmudgeon, part delightful, and 100 percent pro.

This was an internal move, doing a remodel to our house, so had baileys come and pack glassware etc. and then they came and moved all the boxes, 22 dish packs, plus all our first floor furniture into our garage. Three weeks later we had it all moved back into the house. Everything went well. The packing was great. I think it could have been put on a cargo ship to China and nothing would have been broken. After a lot of back and forth and wasted time with a couple of local Denver area movers (with them randomly adding 20 items to my estimate and not able to determine cubic feet without an in-person visit), I decided it would be worth it to pay for the pricier moving company. Bailey's (Allied) determined the cost for my out-of-state move from Colorado to Arizona based on weight, not cubic feet. The cost also included better insurance coverage vs. the 60 cent a pound BS I was quoted from others. Due to Covid-19, Josh was able to at least FaceTime me and see the amount of stuff I needed moved and provide a fast estimate. My two movers were on time and worked fast to get everything out of my 3rd floor apartment that didn't have an elevator. Movers were early on delivery day in Phoenix five days later and worked in high temperature unloading the truck. (Fast delivery considering the Fourth of July holiday fell in between pick up and delivery.) Andrew M. was easy to work with and was able to provide me 24 hours notice prior to movers arriving. This company is definitely higher priced, but all of my stuff arrived and nothing was broken or damaged. (If you pack your own things, use a lot of bubble wrap and packing paper and make sure bins and boxes are taped well. Make sure you give them any special instructions.) No claims here, so I highly recommend.

BEST MOVING EXPERIENCE EVER!!! I want to personally thank and recognize James Welker and Juan Reyes for the outstanding job they did! They put the PRO in professional movers and were amazing. Your moving experience is determined by who shows up and these guys exceeded all expectations and absolutely deserve a raise. I shopped every local moving company and baileys was in line with a pretty competitive market, but with out various additional fees others had. Beyond their reviews, what made me chose them was the lady I spoke to on the phone. The interaction was more pleasant and professional. We had to move the day after Thanksgiving and a record amount of snow. I hired baileys to move larger items, but ended up having them take a lot more than originally planned. James and Juan didnt mind and worked their absolute hardest to get the job done in the quoted time. Juan and James were so fast, efficient and careful that it was mind blowing. They had entire couches tightly wrapped in a protective layer of plastic in 30 seconds and on the truck before I knew what happened. They properly protected and moved all of our fragile furniture with real care. They both moved with pep in their step and didnt stop unless one of us had a question. They followed all instructions, met all request and had wonderful customer service every step of the way. There were times we couldn't understand how they each were able to lift and move so much. All of our items and both houses were undamaged in the move. They navigated all difficult areas with ease. They provided all moving supplies and put down thick cardboard on the hardwood floors and plastic on the carpets protecting from the move and snowy weather. We had 10 inches of snow a day before and it didn't slow them down a bit. They arrived on time and wasted no time. This was the best moving experience I have ever had. Every member of my household said the same thing. I would highly recommend bailey's and will be asking for James and Juan on the next one. Thanks!

Bailey's did a good job of getting me moved out of my mountain home. Brian came out on a Saturday to do an in home inspection for a quote after my Friday appointment was cancelled for an emergency. They took extreme care of both houses and all of my belongings, including some big furniture pieces and a piano. All of the boxes even ended up in the right rooms! Denver to Atlanta! I'm happy to share my stress free, hassle free, headache free moving experience provided by Bailey Moving/Allied Van Lines. First my at home visit with Brian L. provided the peace of mind I needed to ensure my moving estimate didn't fluctuate. What he quoted was what I paid and it was exceptionally competitive. The walk through was quick and seamless. I used Bailey's packing team and while there was an initial hiccup, I called Brian and informed him of the situation and it was resolved while they were onsite. My belongings were picked up the following day and the team that moved the boxes and packed the truck were timely, pleasant and professional. Did I mention Bailey's/Allied has their OWN trucks so there was NO question about who was picking up and transporting my household goods. My assigned project mgr/dispatcher, Lucy, was proactive with phone calls keeping me informed about the transport of my goods every step of the way which increased my confidence confirming that out of the 20+ brokers and 4+ major van line competitors, I chose the right relo partner. My goods were delivered on the agreed upon date and Lucy was amazing with following up a couple of days after delivery to see how thing's arrived. While there were a couple of casualties with goods during the move, the claims process was simple, quick and I received a claim check within a week of the investigation being completed. (Helpful Tip: Take multiple pictures of any goods that did not make it and do research on the cost of those items to expedite the claims investigation process) Overall I give Bailey's Moving/Allied Van Lines 5 out of 5 stars. -Sam P.

Bailey’s did a great job communicating throughout the process as well.

I paid an additional $998 for "full coverage" insurance on our contents during a move from Erie, CO to Gulf Shores, AL in September 2019 (Reg#129535 Claim#10038-0 Quinn). Our furniture was in storage in Pensacola, FL for about 9 months. When it was delivered and unpacked, we discovered that a number of items were either damaged or missing, including a modular office desk, an electric drill, an electric mixer, a stepladder, and a wine decanter. After claims were filed, the insurance carrier agreed to pay for repairs to the desk, but denied all other claims. We have $1,150 of unpaid claims resulting from the denials. The designated "claims contact" has failed to return four calls. In an effort to resolve the dispute, I have asked Bailey's Moving and Storage for a full refund of the $998 I paid for the insurance. This request has been denied. Bottom line: don't waste your money on insurance. it is worthless, and if the sales person tries to convince you that your contents are "fully covered," it is pure fraud.

Brian came out and gave us an estimate (which was very similar to the estimate we had gotten online when we checked ourselves). The movers were on-time (early even) for both pickup and delivery and very professional. They covered all of our floors so they wouldn't leave boot prints and there isn't a scratch on any of our walls. They were also very flexible when we had to change the delivery time. Our move from Idaho to Nebraska was fantastic. The driver (Allan Bird) was polite, professional, took great care in handling our belongings, and he arrived earlier than expected at our final destination. Our coordinator Sherry Sadler was amazing. She had everything lined out perfectly and she kept us informed during the whole process. If we move again I will be making a request to use Sherry and Allan again.
