Everyone I worked with at Dearman was great! McKenna was great answering my questions that I initially had. Amanda and Kalyn also were awesome. My movers were Robert, Sean, and Nic. They were so great to work with. Each of them were accommodating and helpful with anything I needed. They were professional and careful with everything they moved. Great experience moving from one state to another. Price was better than other companies and it was a very legit situation- our stuff was delivered promptly, nothing missing or damaged. The staff at the office was wonderful to work with - very flexible when we had to change our plans a couple of times! The guys that moved us were wonderful- thank you Schuyler and Lane! The only reason why I didn’t give a full five-star review was that they should have really sent three guys instead of two- my husband had to help unload a very heavy item.

I chose Dearman over other lower cost providers because they were the only movers who came to do an in person inventory to quote the move. Everyone I dealt with was courteous and professional. The drivers who loaded and unloaded were super hardworking guys. The reason for the 3 stars is because we are missing one of our boxes and some modular slat wall pieces that were not in a box but were taped together. Most of our belongings were on one box truck with overflow going onto a 2nd truck. The items on the 2nd truck were moved to another truck to be combined with a small load being delivered to the same state. I was assured nothing got left behind when this happened. Although everything was tagged, we never got a list of all the tag numbers and we couldn't check off tag numbers as things got unloaded. Since the tags had bar codes, I don't understand why everything wasn't scanned in and then scanned out upon delivery. That would seem to offer a better control. We'll see how the claim process goes.

We recently moved house and Dearman made it easy. From closing (and scheduling our move) to the move itself was 10 days, but they were able to accommodate our schedule. The day of the move, the crew showed up and did a walk-through then set to work - and they must be really good at Tetris because I couldn't believe how tightly they were able to pack the truck! Unloading at the new home was just as good - a quick walk-through to get familiar with the house, then asked us for directions as they unloaded. Throughout the day, the crew was unfailingly courteous, and graciously moved a couple of heavy items to the garage that were not going to the new house. We will definitely use Dearman for our next move.

The entire experience was wonderful from start to finish from the moving coordinators to the quoting process, all the way through the move itself. Noah, Riley, and Jordan were my movers. They were all polite and friendly and very efficient. All of them took great care of my boxes and furniture, even going the exrea mile to blanket wrap delicate furniture. Likewise they took notice of the labels and put everything where it went. They did such a great job and managed to expedite the moving process - affording more time for the less fun adventure of unpacking.

Our movers were Jordan, Riley, and Noah they were more than I could have ever even asked for. They were polite professional and quick! These guys moved swiftly like a well oiled machine. They moved all our stuff out of our apartment and into our house without even taking a breather and never complained once (even when I had them rearranging things a million times) I dont know that we could have gotten through our move without them! From the initial call to Dearman moving to the follow up after delivery, the service was absolutely superb. McKenna in the office was very professional, obtained all my information and forwarded it to Amanda. She in turn was prompt in making initial contact and emails. Calls were made to follow up 2 days before and on the day of delivery to confirm. Mike and Ethan were our movers. Mike called to say they were 30 minutes close to our home. Both men were extremely professional, courteous, prompt and handled our furnishings with kid gloves. They worked like a well oiled machine from wrapping, boxing, loading, unloading. I highly recommend this moving company to anyone who is relocating or moving locally. I give them 5+ STARS for a job well done!

After getting some outrageous quotes from other moving companies, Dearman gave me a reasonable one and was able to accommodate my schedule. The men who showed up to move, Lenny, Clint, Jayden, and Gavin, are very professional and good at their job. They made sure my stuff nor my home was damaged and did it all very quickly. My quote was for four people, 8 hours. They were able to get everything done in 4 hours. If I ever need to move again, I would not only hire Dearman, I would request these gentleman specifically.

We moved from Ohio to Minnesota the first week of November. I would like to give high praise to Jordan and Josh, the two gentlemen who did the actual move of our affairs into our new home in Minneapolis. It was a big move into a three story home and they were extremely pleasant, positive, polite, and efficient. We were endlessly impressed with their attitudes and abilities. I wish I could give them more than five stars. These two young men worked like four and never missed a step or a chance to smile all while making it look easy. Trust me; you want these two pros to be part of your upcoming transition.

I couldn't have asked for a better experience - they were prompt, efficient, and great to work with. What a pleasure it was to do business with this company. They made my move about as stress-free as possible. Everyone who works there was super helpful. Scott Chase came out to my house to estimate the cost and answer initial questions. He was very upfront about expenses and the made me fee I could trust this company. By that I mean he said they weren't the cheapest company but explained what to be wary of and why they charge a little more (and it was only a little so don't be put off). Jessica and Nichole were the move coordinators and super helpful. Nichole walked me through every step of the process and whenever I had a question or concern she was right on it and very fast to respond. I had the packing service too and it was outstanding. I think I really put the packers to the test too as I had a lot to move. I moved across country so I can tell you everything was beautifully packed and there was no damage to anything. They set me up with a United driver (who was excellent). Overall I was just enormously impressed.

I wish more than anything I could write two different reviews, one for the crew (who deserve 6 stars for how phenomenal they were) and one for the office staff (who deserve 1 star). We moved twice with Dearman, both cross country moves. The teams who packed and loaded and unloaded our trucks were incredible, true hulk like humans, who became our friends - we even asked for the same team lead on our second move and were delighted to see him again! No complaints whatsoever. The office staff however were infuriating. The right size truck was not sent for our second cross country move due to the oversights of office staff and a poor phone consultation regarding the items within our home. The crew had to play the biggest game of Tetris to get the truck loaded and I commend them, BUT several items were damaged very badly. Once we arrived in our new home, we called and submitted the necessary paperwork and photos, being assured that we could "just give a price for each item and we will make this work - we value you as repeat customers." Weeks went by. Emails and phone calls being responded to with "getting there," "next steps needed," and "we'll get back to you," comments. We were then told that someone needed to come to our house and take more pictures. After that, it was still weeks before we heard back with their prices on what they would give us for the damages, coming no where near the value of the items. They claimed humidity damage was done to our 40 year old family handmade heirloom table and refused to cover any repairs. That assumption of humidity damage is absolutely absurd because an elliptical and many other items were stacked on top of our table (we visibly saw the truck). After more time and more phone calls, we finally gave up. They don't stand by their word. They didn't do what they said: "just give us a price and we'll make it right." And they treated us like we ruined items on purpose. Our heirloom table is forever ruined and honestly we could not fight with Kaylynn anymore. We accepted their measly refund for the other items, not even coming close to replacing them, including bunk beds, a crib, and a trampoline. The crews are fantastic, but be warned, the office staff won't actually help with any damage or issues with the move if you have them.

This company is wonderful to work with. Everyone I spoke to from start to finish were very professional and friendly. The movers, Chuck and Bill, were fabulous. When they got to my house, the road crew was working on the road I’m front of my house. The guys definitely went above and beyond, taking my furniture out the front door, down a small hill to the truck at the side of the house. Great job guys! I 100% recommend this company.

Dearman was recommended by our realtor. Would highly recommend them. Nancy Holderman was well organized and detailed in estimating the cost of our move and the items requiring special attention. All of our items were transported without any breakage or other damage. The team moved furniture, a pin ball machine, refrigerator, large outdoor water fountain, and large patio furniture. Special thanks to Mitchell and Cameron for their special care in some of the large pieces and to Brodie and Anthony. Would use Dearman again.

Bethany contacted me quickly & was very efficient using a virtual survey app to determine my needs. She was quite professional & friendly. I needed her advice a couple of times prior to my moving date - always a prompt reply. Dearman utilized a United Van Lines affiliate (Peluso) in Naples to handle the loading of my furniture - also a 5-star company. On time delivery was provided by Dave & Robert. They were awesome, too. Friendly, efficient & very careful with my possessions. I can’t imagine a better experience than what I’ve experienced with Dearman! They handled my somewhat complicated move with such ease! Overall, I was pleased with my moving experience. The young men were professional and respectful of my household goods. I noticed only a couple of items scratched or broken. These items are not worth filing a claim ( wooden clothing rack) I have experienced numerous moves in the past ( USAF) so I am very realistic regarding the process. I was pleased with the staff keeping me updated on the move and what to expect. The shock involved the actual price of the move. I would recommend this company for future moves.

So my husband, son and I moved from Phoenix, AZ to Mandfield. All movers from uhaul either cancelled or didn't respond. I did a Google search and Dearman was one of the 2 listed. They were so helpful from the beginning. We were able to unload most of the truck ourselves but the washer and dryer going into the basement and a huge dresser were too much for us. The movers put those in without any issues and offered to get the rest even though that is not what we scheduled. They even did a tricky move of a table my husband said could not go upstairs for my office. They are great, they go above and beyond even for a last minute move.

From the estimators arrival at my home through the movers sign-off, my interactions with all parties was pleasant, courteous, and patient. The estimator Scott represents the company well, providing clients with a brief history and mission statement. Scott was articulate, with a good sense of humor. It was evident that the company values all of its employees and therefore values its customers and their goods. I felt I could trust them with my interstate move. A competitor who also came to my home to give an estimate was not congenial, by contrast, and did not engender trust. The survey and estimate were sent via email. They were clear and precise, very straightforward. A period of uncertainty about my destination and seesawing demands always found Nichole accommodating and patient. When my situation finally gained traction, the changes were graciously addressed in a revised list and estimate. Nichole sent a secure link so I could set up payment via credit card prior to moving day. Throughout the process, I received pleasant reminders of where we were and next steps! Very practical and much appreciated! The movers, Colton and Chuck, arrived ahead of schedule on moving day, which worked out quite well. Family members were home to let them in. When I returned about 30 minutes later from running essential errands, the work was proceeding smoothly. The men worked well as a team and were always courteous in answering questions. They were diligent and paid attention to details. They were also nice to our cats. This was a small interstate move of one 250 cu ft container. We utilized United Van Lines (UVL) twice before and had great service and responsiveness to our moving needs, so we thought of UVL again. The previous two moves were both in-state and this was our first out-of-state move. The entire experience could not have gone any better than as detailed and explained to us. Needing extra help, they found resources to help finish our packing and on the day of moving, the team of Cameron Pugh, Colton and Cody Henderson we’re professional, timely, and actually seemed to enjoy helping us relocate. Additionally, we had two vehicles shipped to our final destination and that process, too, was flawless. Once at our new home, the guys expedited an efficient and very clean process to get our household goods inside and in place. After unpacking the majority of our freight, we can report nothing is broken, damaged, or missing. Overall, this was the most stressful move we’ve made; however, with support from Nichole Lang during planning and “the guys,” this experience was less stressful and very efficient. 5 stars... thanks to the Dearman team for the great work.

We used Dearman Moving and Storage to move from Galion, OH to Paw Paw, MI, a distance of slightly less than 300 miles. We could not have been more impressed and satisfied with our experience. Dearman was the only moving company we contacted that was willing to come out and do an in home estimate. They were also the only company that didn't want some sort of down payment first. Basically they were the only company of many that we contacted that didn't seem sketchy in some way. Bonnie in the office was wonderful and very reassuring every step of the way. We had to change the items that we wanted on the truck several times and each time Bonnie made the adjustments with absolutely no issue. Our moving crew leader was Hayden and on the day we moved out of our former home he was working with Ryan. We were told they would arrive between 8:30 and 9:30 AM and at around 8:20 Hayden called to let us know they would be there at around 8:45 and they arrived at exactly that time. Both were very polite and professional and moved things at a very efficient pace despite the fact that it was very hot that day. They were careful not to cause any damage to the items we were moving or to the house. They even offered to wrap some items we were moving on our own to protect them. We also ended up needing to add some items we thought we would move on our own to their truck at the last minute and Hayden immediately called the office to get permission to do so and it was not an issue at all. Hayden kept us updated the whole time as to his estimate as to how much weight he thought we were adding with the extra items. Before they departed Hayden told us the exact plan for our items, explaining that he would be driving them up to Michigan the next day in the later afternoon with a different partner and that they would deliver the items to our new home between 9:00 and 10:00 AM the day after the drive up. The day the items were to be delivered Hayden called us promptly at 8:45 AM and asked if it was okay if they arrived at 9:00. The delivery day Hayden was working with Ethan who was also very polite and engaging. All items were efficiently moved off of the truck and placed in the house exactly where we requested. The home we moved into is an old Victorian with doorways that are noticeably narrower than in more modern homes and we were concerned some items may not fit through the doorways, particularly a very large couch that we have. The staircases are also rather steep. Hayden and Ethan moved everything into and through the home wonderfully. They were even able to get the huge couch in exactly where we wanted it. They did not damage any furniture or woodwork. We were very impressed with the entire experience. I had read so many moving horror stories in reviews online and was very nervous, as we have always moved ourselves in the past. Eveything took place exactly when we were told it would in a very professional manner. The final positive in this great experience was that the bill actually came in under the estimate even with the last minute items we added that weren't included in the actual estimate. Dearman did an excellent job with our inter-state move, and I would recommend them to everyone. We honestly could not be more pleased with our moving experience thanks to Dearman.

I called Dearman about moving a couple of giant boxes from where they were unloaded under my carport up to my third floor apartment. In under 20 minutes two guys were bringing the first box up the steps. It took them under 10 minutes and both boxes were on my kitchen floor. We were majorly downsizing and moving several states away. I had been working for over 9 months to be organized and stage our home. I had "storage 1" for things in storage for a long time, "storage 2 or house", stored for staging but wanted at our new place, "storage 3" for things going to storage that I wanted easy access too, these guys "got it" and and were able to accommodate me with no problem. From the beginning, the guy that came out to do our estimate was great! They really get you are stressed and offer solutions. They were by far the most reasonable. The guys showed up to pack and had all the supplies, asked questions, if they were unsure. They came from Mansfield Ohio. Be sure to ask for Dakota ( very polite) , Cameron ( worked fast) and Jordon (funny). They were lead by Kevin M, who can not say enough about! This guy works his butt off and performs miracles!, packed us up, went to our storage unit, loaded all that on the truck. Came back the next day, worked in record high temps ( in fact the schools were closed due to heat), did not take a break, due to our buyers realtor standing in our front yard for hours and loaded us. Kevin M, kept in contact with us. He arrived in the mountains. All the local helpers said there was no way the moving truck was going up our driveway ( I can barely get my car up!) Kevin did it!! I believe he is the only one as of date. After unloading, he then took our storage items to our storage unit. Then headed to my daughters where he dropped items off to her. They were professional, very understanding of a stressful situation, polite and offered advice and ideas when I was clueless. All I can say is, United is lucky to have these guys, I hope the company takes care of them. Most movers we have had in the past, just did their job, these guys went above and beyond! This is the second time we have used Dearman to move items for the Crestline Historical Society. The first time was in April of 2019 they moved our entire museum from our old location to our new location. it was a two day move with four crew members & a box truck. it went absolutely flawless. They exceeded our expectations in taking time & care to make sure these priceless artifacts & antiques were not damaged in the move. The crew & office personal were fantastic to work with. The most recent job they did for us was to go to Cleveland and bring back a antique apothecary store cases and displays that were originally located in our town that eventually ened up at the Cedar Point Town Hall Museum. The items went up for auction in November 2019 and were purchased by a private individual and donated back to the Historical Society. The display was massive at 9 feet tall and 36 feet long. In addition to these large units there were antique stained glass panels and four separate glass & oak display cases that also went with it. We literally had only days to organize this move after we found out the pieces were coming back to Crestline. Nichole & the team at Dearman were exceptional and flexible to work with and again they rose to the challenge & exceeded our expectations. It all made it back without damage and the crew was outstanding along with doing a awesome job packing and protecting these items. I highly recommend Dearman for all your moving needs. They have litetally moved PRICELESS artifacts and antiques twice for us without incident. I can not say enough positive things about them.

The move from start to finish was a pleasurable and well organized and executed experience. Nathan, the team leader, is a born leader, and he had assembled a skillful and dedicated work force and trained them to be methodical, diligent and coordinated in their efforts to work steadily and competently, and be ever mindful they were charged with the responsibility of handling my and my wife's personal treasures. They treated every item with respect. As they worked they focused only on the task. Occasionally as I watched they would briefly explain why they chose to over wrap and double band to assure every item has the likelihood of safe transport. Also, they explained why they further disassembled certain items to prevent scratching and weakening of joints and protruding bolts etc, and would reassemble at the other end. Their knowledge of their job was boundless. Throughout the process they were polite and cordial to me and to one another. During the few work breaks they, when prompted, shared briefly their life experiences (military experiences, life on the road often away from families,etc). Then back to work with renewed energy and the eye of the team on the goal. This focus was continually modelled and encouraged by the team leader. The team respected him without question. The accountability of items was thorough, complete, accurate, and inspection for damage was serious, transparent, and performed with candor and a sense that illustrated they had accepted the responsibility for the moving task they had accomplished. This is a professional extremely capable team. I was most highly pleased with the encounter. Through their pride in their work they instilled great confidence in me (their customer). I give them the highest rating possible for customer satisfaction. They deserve it.
