WOULD 100% RECOMMEND! We moved across town and had a few very heavy pieces of furniture that needed to be safely transported to the new house (for reference, the picture attached is of a piano they moved). They sent out a team of 3 guys that knocked the entire move out in a day without a bump or bruise on anything. The office staff was easy to work with and very communicative before, during, and after the move. Do yourself a favor and use Two Men of Columbia!

What a great experience! First time I’ve EVER had superior movers…above and beyond expectations. Our movers, Justin and Louis were super fast loading, unloading, congenial, accommodating, amenable and just a joy with which to work. Five years ago, we called on Two Men and a Truck to help us move across town. Our experience then was great: the people were professional, cheerful, friendly and blindingly fast. They whisked us across town easily and left us tidily arranged. Nothing was damaged, nothing was missing. And the price was reasonable. We figured, though, that such good service might be a fluke. Nope. It wasn't a fluke. When we moved my father from Prosperity to Columbia last week, we called on Two Men and a Truck again. William and Earl showed up: professional and cheerful and friendly and amazingly efficient. They moved everything so easily and rapidly it was entertaining, and before we knew it, he was moved in with nothing damaged and nothing missing and everything in its place. It was almost fun. And STILL reasonably priced. Strongest recommendation for these folks.

I found Two Men and a Truck during online searches for movers. I decided to go with them because the prices were reasonable. The office team didn't quite get my quote correct for the price, but after the moving team completed the job the cost was a third of the office quote. The movers AJ and Vincent took great care with our furniture. They were so efficient they took what was quoted as a six hour job and completed in a little over two. I was satisfied with the service and price. Would recommend to anyone I know needing a moving company.

I have used Two Men and a Truck previously and had a positive experience, but my recent experience moving across cities really blew me away. Kwame, Elgin, and Noah were excellent! I would recommend these professionals to anyone needing moving services. They handled all of the stairs, multiple stops, various items, and tight streets exceptionally well, moving fast but with obvious care. Additionally, their logistical skills both individually and as a team were clearly reflected in their thoughtful approach to navigating the specifics of my move. They also made me feel comfortable to talk and ask questions, which I really appreciated. Kind and courteous at every moment, even when there were multiple challenges with parking infrastructure. I truly can’t imagine trying to make this move without their help. Highly satisfied and would be happy to work with them anytime!

Tyler and V did an amazing job getting my brother's belongings moved from our house to his apartment. They worked quickly and efficiently while still being able to be friendly. They took care with the items being moved making sure nothing was damaged. These guys are awesome!

Kwami and Tyleek were amazing with my out of state move. From 3 flights of stairs to a first floor, they handled everything professionally. From wrapping the large pieces to being delicate with glass , I have no complaints. They even wrapped part of the entry way door and laid a mat down to further insure furniture would not be damaged on entry and removal. The best part of my move was how I could tell they truly cared. Billy, the supervisor came for the first half to assist since it was third floor. It felt good to have a supervisor there to assist as he was clearly seasoned and earned his job title by being as safe and efficient as humanly possible. Overall, every penny spent was a penny well worth it. The truck was loaded just before 1hr 30 and was unloaded even faster. I packed majority of my boxes as I am very particular and each gentleman read each label and even put each box in the proper room. Boxes marked as fragile were treated as fragile. Heavy adjustable base broken down, wrapped and put back up. Furniture blankets secured with generous amounts of tape. There’s nothing that could have been improved upon. I am thoroughly impressed and I completely recommend Two Men and A Truck. As click I click “Post” on this review, I literally just saw another truck by this company, park to move another person in!

We are very grateful. The move would not be possible without them. It was efficient and professional. However, they did not communicate the morning they arrived and came much earlier than expected with no heads up, so we were unprepared. Also, our movers were not exceptionally careful with a lot of our boxes and many things came to us jostled, damaged, and broken inside their boxes. Nothing expensive, though, and overall our experience was positive and helpful.

Was able to call 3 weeks ahead and get a move scheduled easily - they were able to come early and asked if that was okay (versus just showing up, which I really appreciated). They made sure they asked what needed to be moved and made sure everything was clear. Movers were professional and responsible, none of my items were damaged! 10/10 would recommend.

Cambry and Darius worked for literally, not hyperbolically in any form; 12 hours straight; well after their obligated time on a Friday night with no breaks to try and finish a very big move in one day for my own benefit. Took extreme care with heavy but valuable solid wooden furniture going up a flight of stairs every time. Would recommend ten times over. Very personable and professional. Hopefully will have them back tomorrow to finish getting things straightened because at 9:30pm they had to call it quits and go see their families. All things considered they were the best movers I’ve ever had the pleasure of hiring.

Two Men and a Truck is hands down the way to move. This is my second time using them and I could not have had a better experience. The office staff was polite and got me set up efficiently but the real proof in the pudding was my moving team. Keith, Barkley and Darrius was the team that moved me and my kids and I'm still in awe of their services. They were professional and courteous, and they moved everything so efficiently and quickly. Please understand, I don't say that lightly because these guys moved heavy things, odd shaped things, and all my belongings in and out up flights of stairs with literally no complaints and no breaks and still asked was there anything else they could get for me. They were very respectful of time through everything and I appreciate them so much. On top of everything, Two Men and a Truck has the most reasonable prices. More so than the other companies b/c I've checked around. I will forever use this company for my moving needs. Thank you guys! Update: Third time using Two Men & A Truck to move and they are still as awesome as always. My movers were Keith (again :)), Vidal, and Elgen. My job was pretty small - just moving a couple of pieces of furniture that were just too big for me to handle myself. The guys did a great job. They finished up their first job early and called to ask if it was convenient for me if they came early, which was fine in my case. They finished the job quickly and helped my mom move some furniture around in her house that was not strictly part of the job. The office staff was a pleasure to speak with and returned calls promptly. I would definitely recommend.

We used the Two Men team for a move of furniture from Augusta to Columbia. While it wasn’t a ton of items, it was too much for me to handle on my own. To them it was likely a small job but that didn’t mean they used any less care for our belongings. They were on time, called ahead like they said they would with an accurate ETA, handled each item with care, acknowledged the items that needed extra care and placed each item in the house without issue. While the job was going on, members of management showed up to ensure our move was being handled to our standards and made sure we were pleased with the work that was being done. This move was fantastic! The office and moving crew were top notch. They were professional and worked very well with me. I've moved quite a bit over the years and roughly knew what to expect. I've even used this location before when we arrived in the area for unloading our transport trailer. This move is one of the very best in my life, even though I was moving alone this time. Not only did everyone work hard and safely, they got the job done in less time and UNDER the estimate. They even looked for an item that was missing, found it and brought it by personally. Moving at age 78 after living in the same place for nearly 30 yrs was scary, esp after hearing horror stories from "friends" about their experiences with movers. But my experience was wonderful starting with the phone estimate which was the lowest price I was quoted. Since I had a piano I required 3 movers and Kenneth, Leon and Tyler were fantastic. They were efficient and very careful with my furniture and other household items. I moved 2 1/2 hrs away and the entire move was done in one day - at a cost $200 LESS than the estimate.

I would have given a 5 but when I walked in one room after the move there was still plastic around it. There were scuff marks in a few walls that were not there previously. I divided boxes from our storage to come inside and what to be put in the garage. All boxes were placed in the garage. By the time I notices all of this with so many distractions on moving day, I’d already paid them and gave each one with a bonus $50 tip each. All the movers were very well mannered. One did walk around with head phones on talking with someone that I assumed was by phone. Overall, I was pleased.

The good experience started from the very first call. The office staff was incredibly helpful and answered all the questions I had. Then on moving day, the three guys who came out to do our move did a great job. We moved from a third story apartment to a one story house and the packing up took about 2/3 of the total time just because of all the stairs. But the unloading was extremely quick and they were very, very careful with all of our belongings and careful not to make scuffs on our new walls. We were estimated that it would take about 5.5 hours but they beat their time by about an hour/hour and a half so we paid much less than we thought we would have to. I'd highly recommend this company for your move!

Excellent service from Keith and Miguel. I can’t say enough great things about this team. Highly efficient and professional with great communication. We encountered issues with my daughter’s new apartment, requiring changing units, after already unloading many items. Keith and Miguel quickly, reloaded and moved to the new apartment. I needed to move after a leak began to grow mold in my apartment and they made a difficult situation much easier. I highly recommend them for your moving needs! As someone who used to be a manager, I hope that the management at Two Men and a Truck actually pitch in and do some of the moving instead of checking up on their employees and bringing them Gatorade.

I moved from NC a to Blythewood SC area DeMarcu Cooks and David Martin were the two movers that unloaded my U-Haul. They both were very professional and worked at a great pace to get the U-Haul unloaded quickly. They had to move most of my things up a flight of stairs and they did a great job not hitting the walls or dinging my furniture. They unloaded my U-Haul which furnished a 3 bedroom home in about 1.5 hours. I had most of my boxes labeled and when they did not see a label they asked so the item was not placed in the wrong area. They also did a great job asking where I wanted the furniture placed so I did not have to move it a second time. I would high recommend these two works and this company.

This was my second time using Two Men and a Truck, and this was the second time I had a great experience. We moved two apartments to a single house, and Two Men and a Truck made the big stuff easy. They were on time, got started quickly and asked for relevant information right off the bat (what would the move consist of, etc). They speedily loaded the truck, finishing our two apartments in just 2 hours. This included two large couches, a treadmill, beds and more. When we arrived at the new house, they unloaded even faster and did some impressive work carrying large furniture upstairs. My total bill came out to much less than expected because they worked so diligently. They also made some good conversation chatting with me between lifting, which made the morning go by faster. Would definitely recommend.

Long story short, these guys unloaded and placed the furniture upstairs in no time at all, even took furniture back to the truck that I changed my mind on with no hesitation. Very good guys, and going to call them back in November to empty the apartment, and load our truck back so we can move into our house. I just moved back to Columbia and had the best team of young men helping me move items from a storage unit and a house to another home. It was exceptionally hot outside, but these two young men never took a break. They never used a hand truck and carried each item like it was their own. They carried a heavy couch and a futon into my new home carefully avoiding contact with walls and doors even in the tightest of spaces. I had a great move with Two Men and a Truck. The movers arrived on time and took excellent care of my belongings on both ends of the trip. Theodore and Grayson were personable and polite, and I feel I received great service. The only downside I experienced was that my move was estimated to take 4-5 hours (including the drive time from their office to my old place and from my new place back to the office). They ended up being closer to 8 hours from arriving at my old place to leaving my new place. I only got charged for 6 hours total and got some packing supplies (mattress protector and big TV box) thrown in for nothing, so my total wasn't much above the estimate. Theodore and Grayson seemed to work at a reasonable pace to me, so I'm not sure if other movers would have been any faster or if the estimate was just mistaken. Either way, I feel I got a good deal financially, it just threw off my timing for some other stuff I had going on. All said, it was still a positive experience and I'd still recommend Two Men and a Truck.

We moved from South Carolina to Kentucky with the help of Two Men and a Truck. We actually needed four men and two trucks for our 3000 sq.fl. home. This was no small task. My husband and I had packed each room and were able to leave the boxes in place for the movers. Our trucks arrived before 9am. We did a walk through and completed the paperwork with the team lead while the rest of the team got to work. Let me tell you. These guys are so fast and careful with everything. (We had three glass items break due to my husbands packing method on that particular box).I should also say we have a glass figure collection worth a lot and that was all fine. The whole team was polite and accommodating. They finished around 4pm and we all took off for Ky. It's a long drive and my husband and I drove to Lexington and spent the night. The trucks did as well. The following day the trucks ran into a bit of trouble with a flat tire and had to wait several hours for repair. To be honest I was a little apprehensive because it had been a long few days. I was ready for the team to be a little off and uptight. When the team arrived they were up beat , smiling and ready to get the job done. I am so glad we choose Two Men and a Truck. They are some of the nicest hardest working people we have ever met. I would absolutely use them again.

I wish that I had the option to have used Two Men & a Truck for the long distance move instead of United/Mayflower/Nilson Van & storage. This was my second local move with Two Men and a Truck. Even though they are locally owned and operated (part of the reason I use them), they consistently provide a good experience. They are priced well and their team works very hard and fast. My movers finished well within the window of time quoted to me (so more $ for me!). They did damage one very nice piece of furniture. However, the team at TMT have been quick to respond and get it fixed. That's probably par for the course when moving. Overall, I highly recommend the company and would use them again if/when we move next time.

The office staff made everything easy. Their quote was 600.00 less than the nearest competitor. On moving day both gentleman were on time and made the process (relatively) stress less. Same process in Atlanta. My only suggestion is that the movers have tools them to help with the inevitable situations that arise when moving. Very happy with them though out the process.

The movers that were sent out did great I did have an issue with the company not being honest about the prices!, they charge you for the mileage from their company to your home and for the mileage from your home to the new spot and from your new spot to their company that sounds really ridiculous and they say it's an estimate you have both addresses so why the estimate isn't accurate when you had the information from start and after the move its more charges so I have no problem with the movers job they do a great job but it's the office the guy there who is the manager he did all my information and never explained that just so eager to get customers Instead of admitting you didn't say that in beginning people Make mistakes but be honest and up front with people to avoid the miscommunication

I was in a pickle. A very large box had been delivered two days before and I needed to get it upstairs. I chanced a call to TMAAT. Nikki answered and made magic happen. Jimmy and Larry were at my door within an hour. After accessing the situation and trying THREE times the 200 pound box made it to the bedroom on the second floor. These guys were not only strong but also incredibly smart and professional. They didn't give up and figured out how not to damage the freshly painted walls and get the awkward heavy box upstairs. This was a very unusual moving request and another five-star company had already turned me down on the phone. She said they would not be able to get such a heavy box over the bannister. TMAAT DID IT!!!!!! Cudos to you entire team. It takes teamwork.

This is totally unrelated to the actual moving services they provide, but I was in the middle of nowhere in Elgin, SC and three guys from Two Men and a Truck pulled up, hopped out, and spent about 15-20 minutes of their time to tow me out. They were so cool and professional and did it out of the kindness of their hearts and anyone who goes out of their way to help others when no one is looking is exactly the type of person I'd want to do business with on any level. I wish I could remember their names, but all three were black guys. One had some gold teeth and braideddreads, one just had dreads, and the other was a big guy with short hair. If I ever need a moving service, I won't think twice about this company, because they obviously know how to hire quality employees.
