I cannot recommend Soda City Movers enough! I was moving from a 3rd floor apartment to a house with a stop at a storage unit in between. These 2 guys got it done in 3.5 hours!! They protected my furniture and handled it like it was their own. The were fast and efficient and made me feel like my stuff was in the best hands. I’ve attached a few photos of how they protected my precious furniture!

This is the second time I have used Soda City Movers and I am glad to report that they did an excellent good job moving my furniture and boxes from the storage unit to my rental truck. They called me prior to showing up to let me know that they were fifteen minutes away. They wrapped my furniture to prevent damage and they packed my truck so that there would be no movement of items. I would recommend them to be your movers.

For our recent move we used Soda City Movers and they did an absolute fantastic job. Prior to their arrival Tracy, Telron and Derrick called us to let us know they are on the way and they were ready to roll as soon as they got to our home. They were so quick in wrapping up all the furniture so everything was protected and stayed clean. We could not believe how fast everything was loaded in the truck and ready to go to the new house. The reverse process was just as fast and all the furniture got unwrapped and placed exactly the way we wanted. The guys were professional, courteous and respectful of our property. We had no damage, no problems at all and we could not be more pleased. I can highly recommend Soda City Movers.

I was on a short time frame, called Soda City Movers, they were able to get a crew out the following day. These guys were awesome! They were easy to work with, had great personalities, and were FAST! Soda City Movers were highly recommended to us by my son who had used their service past. We were not disappointed on bit. The three man crew called prior to arriving and were present on time. The crew took good care of our personal property, taping and wrapping "everything" prior to loading in the truck. Our move from our home started at 9am and they were finished unloading at our new residence by 2:45pm. Great prices and great service. This is the best moving experience I have ever had. I was able to get moved within two days of contact with Soda City Movers. They were on time, quick, professional, fun to talk to and the price was very reasonable. I was able to move from one side of town to the other within about 2 hours. Lindsay was a great help. I got a quick response to my request for a quote. This company charges half what other charge for gas/transport. The movers came within their window (which was great because i had to go back to work). Timothy was my driver. This is actually my husband and I 4th time using Soda City to move. We cannot be more satisfied with the quality of service and professionalism that we recieved from the workers sent to us. Crinshaul, Luis, and forgive me but the other name escaped me provided quick, efficient, and top notch service. They handled our furniture with care and was done in 2 hrs flat -and we moved from a 4 bedroom home to a 3 bedroom townhome! So I will always trust and rely on Soda City for our moving needs. I highly recommend Soda City Movers for all your moving needs they have wonderful customer service and very friendly movers I used them on 01-6-23 and they had all my stuff loaded from my one bedroom studio apartment in about 45 mins to an hour so it took them about hour an half to load and unload but I didn't have much and I had a 2 hour window with 2 movers and they are great in what they do and really fast you want be disappointed trust me I will used to anytime before any other moving company oh and they are on time as well you don't have to call to look for them they will give you a courtesy call letting you know there on the way to you seriously 🙋‍♂️

First of all, I’d just like to say that I truly appreciate this moving company. Prior to me moving, after I paid for a scheduled slot, I had a mishap regarding my move in date. When I called and spoke with the lady in the office and Dispatcher Eric, they reassured me that everything would work out and rearranged my appointment. When the movers arrived, I noticed how respectful and kind they were. They made me feel like family. While moving, they notified me of several things that I was not aware of. They also suggested things, when I had questions. I would suggest this moving company any day, especially from the professionalism and dedication from the team of movers that were displayed. They went above and beyond, especially with my more fragile, boxed items. I was very pleased 😀. My overall experience was great !!!

After calling around looking for movers, I was definitely getting frustrated because it seemed that everyone had hidden fees (some that I wouldn't have known about until the work was done had I not asked). I'm not one for leaving a review (even though I read them when I'm doing research !) but a great job done by Soda City Movers requires taking out time to let everyone know about a job well done. Due to a promotion with my employer, I was required to move out of state (sadly on my own dime). I started doing research on local moving companies and ran across Soda City Movers. I emailed the company one evening and by the next morning I had a response from Eric on the estimated costs. The cost was affordable and I felt it was something I could handle. Since I've moved a couple of times I didn't feel like I was hemorrhaging money with Soda City Movers. When I called to finalize the move date, I spoke with a very nice young lady (unfortunately I didn't get her name) and we got everything scheduled. Because I'm a little over the top with my planning and organizing plus adding in a little bit of anxiety, into the mix, I spoke with Eric the Friday before my scheduled move on Monday just to confirm we were still ago (even though I had confirmed via email the night before). He assured me the movers would be arriving on Monday. On Monday, sure enough Tracy and Don arrived at 8:30 am, did a walk through and got right to work. They took great care of my items as they were moving me from an upstairs apartment to their truck and than from their truck to a POD at another location. They worked straight through until 1:30pm with no breaks or lunch. I can't say enough good things about the folks with Soda City Movers. They were reliable, caring, were indulgent with my anxiety over this particular move, and the most important thing were reasonably priced. Would I recommend them? Absolutely, without a doubt. Even though I am out of state, if I ever have to move back to Lexington/Columbia, South Carolina, Soda City Movers will be my first phone call that I make to handle all of my moving needs.

I contacted Soda City Movers fairly last minute looking for a small crew to help unload a U-Pack Trailer. Soda City Movers was very responsive and was able to get a crew of 3 to come to my new residence on short notice to help unload our trailer. Did I say held, they would not let me carry anything and gave me a "hard time" if I tried. They were a very friendly, professional and hard working crew and was able to unload and put in the right room our household of items that filled 26 of a 28 ft trailer in about 2 1/2 hours. This trailer took 6 adults over 7 hours to load. I would not hesitate to use Soda City Movers again!

I originally rated them as a 5 when they moved me out of my house into a storage unit. But then they moved me out of my storage unit into a new house and it was totally different. The second time around I had different guys that moved me. They damaged SEVERAL walls in my brand new house. I called the company for them to repair. They told me they would repair them and they never did. If it wasn't for this I would have rated them as a 5 again.

I’ve used them for multiple moves and they are excellent. One for the entire move and it was quick and only two hours for a one bedroom apartment. The second time was for labor only as I was moving out of state and had gotten a truck that wasn’t quite large enough. Despite that, they packed it as tightly and safely as possible. My out of state movers even commented how well it was packed and how much they had gotten to fit in!

I highly recommend Soda City. We used for a local move across town and they were really accommodating and managed to get us on the schedule with less than 2 weeks notice. The moving team, James, Josh, and Jacob, were great. They showed up on time, were all very nice, and were quick and thorough. Another family member used Soda City back in October when they realized the day before the move that the other company they hired had scheduled the wrong day, and they were able to get them on the schedule and moved the next morning.

after needed a moving company for a very recent move, my wife and I shopped around for a good price. Soda City had the best price for the move of a 3 bedroom home to another home that would be a 5 bedroom. The staff over the phone were kind and very informative upfront about cost and recommendation for our move. On the Day of the move the team called ahead about 30 minutes or so to let us know that they were on the way in which they arrived on time and started immediately after doing a quick walkthrough of the home. The whole team were very professional and always asked about which items were needing to be loaded. The were finished packing our whole house in 2hours flat and after arriving to the new home unpack just as quick, thus completing the job in about 4 hours. very Impressive, and that is even though we did not have that many boxes I think they still would have packed everything up in just as much time if not a little more. We have already told about 4 sets of people if they have a move coming up please use them and ask for Tracy, Ron, and Gabe as your movers.

The latter being the absolute worst outfit I've ever encountered. My experience with Two Men and a Truck made me seriously want to find out if there is a statute of limitations on suing a moving company for damages. Edit: Exactly one year later, I used Soda City Movers again. Excellent move and neat placement of my furniture. The furniture was packed with pads and shrink wrap. James, Terrence and Tracy carefully unwrapped everything to be placed in my house. Due to a very recent surgery, I am seriously thinking about getting my moving team back from Soda City to unpack and place my belongings. They are THAT good. These gentlemen are very polite, friendly and professional. I'd recommend them any day.

I highly recommend Soda City Movers. I had reserved them for a two hour move time frame, but then had to add another stop to my house to pick up boxes and night stands that we had moved ourselves from previous residence of father in law. Not only did they accommodate the extra stop, they still got everthing moved from the storage unit, my house and set up in the new residence in the two hour time frame. The crew of Adam, Joe, and Dillon were fantastic, they were very coordinated in the wrapping and moving of the furniture. I had prepaid for a 2 man crew but a trainee was along for training at no extra charge. The trainee worked like a professional. I recently moved downtown from Irmo. Soda City movers was able to schedule me with about three weeks of lead time. They called a few days ahead to confirm truck size and any special items. On moving day, the team of movers walked through the house to understand what was getting moved and immediately got to work. I used their services for my move this past June. They mostly did the job and for that I give three stars. HOWEVER, I was not impressed with the moving guys. Any and all requests and instructions were met with attitude and "clarifications" about how they move stuff. I blame the office staff for not setting expectations about what can and cannot be moved. They mention waivers for moving certain things but these never materialized. For all their confidence about packing the truck efficiently they sure managed to leave a lot of stuff for me and my partner to move ourselves. As someone who was pregnant AND temporarily disabled with not much help this posed a problem. ALSO, they scuffed my doorways and hallway. They offered to let me file a claim but it was such a hassle and I didn't want more people in my house during this pandemic so we fixed it. Finally, they took a rather long lunch break and I didn't feel like fighting them on paying for that extra time they did not work. I can't say I'd recommend their services to my friends.

We just used Soda City movers for the third time, and the experience was superb. We needed our dining room cleared, in order to repaint. Soda City movers came to remove from the room the massive china cabinet and heavy sideboard. They moved both pieces to the foyer, being careful not to hit the overhead door frame or foyer chandelier. After painting was completed, they returned to move the pieces back into the dining room. They were extraordinarily careful of our furniture, walls, and hardwood floors. They patiently worked with us to center the pieces perfectly--down to the eighth of an inch. As always, the two gentlemen listened to our requests and worked carefully and patiently. One of the movers said, "When I handle other people's furniture, I don't know the history of that piece--whether it was handed down to them through many generations or how precious that piece may be to the owner. I treat their furniture with great care." Their careful work reflects that philosophy. We will continue to use Soda City movers whenever we need to move heavy things. This is one of the truly great companies out there available to anyone who wants professional, reliable, friendly help with moving.

I have to be honest, Ive heard the horror stories of furniture getting damaged during a move, but thankfully my antiques were handled with care. No issues! No damages! My husband and I could not have been more happy with these guys! Brian, Chris & Johnny arrived on time and ready to work. They were efficient, courteous and very professional. Not only did they treat our stuff as if it were their own, they moved us from a 2 story apartment very quickly with no issues. They packed our 2700 sq feet house into one uhaul truck and still had space left, all while other companies insisted it was impossible. Second review: Once again, great experience with Soda City Movers! Chris and Antoine, who came before came to take our last load and Laura made the arrangements (important!) They did our original big stuff weeks ago and had 4 men, we did not need so many this time for a small load. Our reason for the second load delay was us. we were not ready for them to move it yet. By the way, we had other movers recommended to us as cheaper, so I checked the price just for fun. The price for us BETTER by 100s for Soda City Movers once you count everything, so if you think you someone has a better price, be sure to ask about charges for trips, mileage, the truck, when and where they start counting hours etc. There is more there than you might think of for accurate comparison. Soda City is very straightforward with pricing AND a good price. As with the first large load previously, this was done in one day, BOTH the loading and unloading. That is huge. And on a holiday weekend! Thanks so much! Very happy! Original review Fantastic!! They saved me from a huge mistake I made, getting Pods. Great, professional like I have never seen in my life! I only regret not getting SODA CITY MOVERS to do the whole thing to start with. I made the terrible mistake of getting PODS thinking I could load some myself and have Soda City help with the big stuff. I did not however, know until moving day, that PODS will take your filled pod and keep it who knows where for DAYS. I cannot get PODS on the phone and I think my pods are going to who knows where for storage. Their phones were down and their online app did not work! USE LOCAL PEOPLE Y'ALL!!! Soda City saved the day and my peace of mind by unloading the pods to two trucks (there was a lot) and taking it to another city (Aiken) and unloading the SAME DAY!! They did a quick and great job despite the last minute changes. I love SODA CITY MOVERS!!

Moving day got started a little late (truck problems...stuff happens), but the guys still showed up pretty soon after the scheduled time. Even though I had two guys scheduled to help me, they ended up sending out a third guy in the middle of the move at no additional cost which helped speed things up. Excellent service from start to finish. So, I wasn’t aware that there would be three guys instead of two helping me move, I guess I must’ve forgot them mentioning that, but no worries. (I just wished I brought more cash to give them each a bigger tip). The team showed up right on time, asked what was to be moved, and got it done. I was quoted for a 6 hour job based on the size of my house and number of items mentioned, they did it in 4!! I cannot say enough about the crew at Soda City Movers. We used Soda City Movers to load and unload mobile storage units from our old house to our new house. Kevin Hunter and his team (Arnold, Crinshaul, Kenny) were the absolute best. The group worked fast and with efficiency. They packed everything extremely well into the units and were super nice to me as well as my wife and kids. They were easy going, nice and funny. After loading our unit on Wednesday, we made sure to call and request them for Friday and they did not disappoint. The unloading was even faster than the load. Never took a break. They communicated really well on when they would arrive and Kevin was great about covering the exact details of the billing in both cases. Showed me all of the options and the full breakdown of the charges. He was just fantastic. As a side note, Laura at the office was also great about communicating and making sure everything was lined up for our move. It is stressful to move, and these guys made it so there was one less thing to think about.

Let's face it, moving is no fun but Soda City Movers did a fantastic job making my first experience with them excellent. I arranged to move 2 houses ( my moms and mine) with Eric and Lindsay with no problems. Eric was quick to realize that I would need 3 men for the jobs, not two for both moves which was a blessing. The first move has been completed, and they did everything they said they would do right down to the phone call on the morning of my move and they arrived on time! My mom's house had a lot of antique furniture and glass items. Sherrod, St. Joseph and Tommy were careful and respectful of our things. They did a great job wrapping all the furniture so nothing was damaged. They worked hard all day with no wasted time, kept the mood pleasant and light. These guys are a super team and I have requested that they do our second move if they are available. I'm no longer worried about the next move. So happy I went with Soda City Movers! I was moving from Columbia to Myrtle Beach and didn't have a lot of time to prepare but I got it done. Big Chris, Little Chris (they're a father son duo) and Jordan did an amazing job with my move! They arrived on time, prepared and ready to work. There was no BS'ing around, they had a job to do and they made sure it was done right. They were very polite, held good conversation but still worked. I've moved 6X's in the past 2 years and have always done it myself or with friends/family to help but this time I have a lot more stuff and needed professionals. I was worried about my glass top breaking during the move but they assured me it would be double wrapped and placed neatly which it was and no breaks. Everything arrived just the way it left, they worked vigorously but efficiently to make sure there were no damages. Everything I asked to be placed in specific spots in my new place was done with no hesitation and I couldn't have asked for better movers. If I had to move again I would specifically request them if possible. It's hard finding people to do the job right or not try and scam you with extra fees and charges. Everything was laid out for me perfectly by the company and the movers. They give you receipts on the spot showing what you paid already and what is owed and they also make sure you sign to show what time they arrive and what time the job is complete. I had an excellent experience with the safe movement performed by Soda City movers. Arnold and Crinshaul were great! They arrived on time on a very hot and humid morning and were very courteous and professional. They removed doors as needed and everything went very smooth. I would have no problems asking Soda City for help if/when I need help.

The movers called to let us know they were on the way and were there as scheduled. They arrived, introduced themselves and explained their plan of operation, which I must say went off perfectly. The movers were very methodical in quilting and wrapping furniture to prevent any damage. The move flowed like a very well machine and the furniture was unpacked and set-up as requested. This day in time you never get what you hope to get. However, I could not write enough positives in the services received.
