We had a GREAT experience with STI movers. We had our items in storage with them for over a year and they were always professional and responsive when it came to billing and communication. Our items arrived in great shape. The delivery was flawless and within the guaranteed timeline which is not my experience with other cross country moving companies. The driver, Wander, was incredibly communicative and just overall lovely to work with. His support, Javier, was also a dream. These guys hustle and couldn’t be nicer. 10/10 would recommend them to anyone.

I have so many good things to say about my experience with STI Moving that I don't know where to begin. I'll start with my initial call to the business to get a quote for a small out-of-state move.. I contacted a total of four moving companies. I knew that I had entered another level of professionalism when Nick walked me through the process and educated me on aspects of the move I hadn't considered. I chose STI over other national brands because I felt as if STI was going to be a partner in my move, and not a vendor. I no longer felt that my move was small and insignificant. Thank you Nick. The ease in contracting and payment was super easy. THE PACKING: I was taking items from two locations - a storage facility and my home. I received a confirmation call the previous day and the packers arrived within the promised window -- Yah! The speed at which they packed both locations has to be a record! They were in and out of my life so quickly, it left time for me to do a few other things on my list of to-do's I hadn't planned. I was thrilled when I got a call from the office that my items had a deliver date window of two days -- a lot sooner than we had anticipated -- Yeah! The day before delivery, Wander and Francisco called to share an estimated time of arrival for the next day within a 30 minute window. And yes, they arrived within that window. At this writing, I have unpacked everything, including 30 pieces of framed art, 100 pieces of china and glassware, etc. Not one piece was broken. I have had several cross country moves in my lifetime and have helped my daughter with Chicago to San Francisco and San Francisco to NY moves. I consider myself a professional mover. This company has surpassed all others by far. I'm hoping I'll have another move soon, just so I can experience this high level of professionalism, care and kindness.

We relied on STI for a BIG move from Santa Fe, NM to Duluth, MN. When we miscalculated the size of our shipment, STI was quickly able to provide a larger truck at a very competitive and reasonable rate. The guys who loaded, drove and unloaded our goods were professional, friendly and competent. They obviously really wanted the best for our belongings and for us as folks. Hired STI movers for a cross country move from Chicago. They provided the best rate available, had a professional crew to package and pickup my furniture items to transport in a combined sprint. The dispatch and sales team were very communicative by providing updates and taking my calls to answer questions. My furniture delivery was delayed by two weeks past the delivery due date, but they compensated through a discount on the final delivery charge. No items were delivered broken. I would recommend STI Movers and use them again.

They called before coming to give me a good idea on when they would arrive, they wrapped all my stuff up nicely and were careful. I thought they were super helpful with letting me know if some stuff wouldn't travel nicely the way it was and helped to secure my belonging so that wouldn't get damaged. It was a long move from Chicago, IL to Florida and it was all delivered on time, in good shape, and everything arrived together. I couldn't be any happier! I was super stressed with it being a shared load and all but it was the best experience I could ask for!!! Highly highly recommend. I did a lot of research before picking a moving company and it was well worth it.

These guys are the best. If you want to work with authentic people who aren't looking to nickel and dime you at every corner, this is the company. Nick in the office was great, walked me through the process, and his pricing was straight forward. Significantly less than a lot of the bigger companies (watch out for the add on prices, like $500 + for official Peloton movers, its not a car) and competitive with some of the smaller shops that compete on price. The huge difference was the day of the move. I'd tried to self pack most of the property but fell far short. Their team was reactive, understanding, and the price increase was more than fair. I was shocked. Then to top it off, they got our stuff from Chicago to San Diego quicker than expected! Three days for a four bedroom house! This is the perfect sweet spot of a moving company. Big enough to be professional, reputable, and trustworthy but small enough for you to feel like they are family. I give them my highest recommendation.

Initially I was using a different moving company, who were incredibly unprofessional and cancelled my move less than 24 hours from pick-up time. I am a 2-time customer of STI and very much recommend them. Overall they are excellent, if not exceptional, among moving companies. I used STI once for a local Chicago move and an across the US move from Chicago to Houston. I will undoubtedly be a 3-time customer when I move again. When it comes to moving, I am decent at best. Nick was a really awesome consultant and truly helped me grasp how much stuff I had, materials I would need, how much space it would take (STI prices by space rather than weight), time I needed for elevator reservation (moved studio and convertible apartments in high rise buildings), etc. I found their pricing to be great and way better (up to thousands cheaper for the Chicago to Houston move) compared to other companies. I did pack boxes myself beforehand as opposed to they pack for me. Andrey and the team were pretty much perfect on moving day. They showed up early and more than prepared for everything. I even messed up things a little bit and had extra stuff beyond my quote (my decent self did not estimate correctly). They handled things flexibly and efficiently, finished moving well within elevator time allotment. Andrey and the team took care of my stuff gently, wrapped and packed the big items way better than I could have, and left my apartment in great shape. No worries on move-out fees or surprise damages. Andrey and the team were also very polite and great representatives of their company. Andrey wrapped up the move by going over everything with me very professionally and walked me through the contract, crossing state line forms, etc. I would recommend STI to everyone. I am a doctor with a busy day/night schedule, and I trusted STI to take care of me (cause I truly needed them to) when going through the stressful process of relocating one's life. They delivered above expectations.

Custom service team follows through the whole process, great with providing update 4. I did have a broken floor lamp at delivery. I was referred to STI contracted insurance company. The process is not difficult though take some time. And STI refunded me more than the weight based amount from their good will! In general, working with STI even for long distance is with minimal anxiety. I highly recommend them!

Excellent. STI handled my move from Illinois to California. Furniture disassembly and assembly was quick. I was easily able to get the status of my move with a phone call without waiting. Pickup was and delivery was fast and professional, they come with moving supplies to quickly wrap up packing. . Total price of move was ~$2700 which was a little over what I was quoted(~$2400) since they were some additional charges at pickup and delivery, but I would say they are all fair charges (moving supplies, shuttle service, walking distance over 150ft). Shoutout to Wilberto and Walter.

Oscar and his crew called at least 30 minutes prior to their arrival just as I was told they would. They arrived between the project time I was given. They arrived ready to work. They were very cordial, focused, and professional. They carefully loaded/off loaded the truck with my possessions arranging everything neatly in my unit. I had no stress at all because they "handled" their business. Excellent service!!! Thank you STI as well as Oscar and his crew for such a great job!!! We used STI Moving & Storage TWICE in the last 4 years (we are done moving now - ha) They are reasonable and charge you by the hour for an "in-town" move. I did all the research the first time we moved and they were the most reasonable with good ratings. They were SO great. The movers were polite, quick and helpful. It was a no-brainer when we were moving again to call them right up. They are very good at working with you on your inventory and giving you an estimate. They nailed the estimated time both moves. I was so pleased on our second move, they had to go back to the old house for a small second load - 2 of the movers stayed at the new house to reassemble furniture while 2 went to get the rest of the items. They divided and conquered and SAVED time doing it - in turn saving me money since it's all on an hourly charge. FIVE stars from us! We don't plan on moving again EVER, but I have given referrals multiple times. :-)

These guys were amazing!!! We had to move out of the house we sold 3 weeks before we were getting out next home, so everything but a suitcase was going into storage. The guys arrived early in the morning and finished packing what was still not done, loaded everything and moved all into two storage units. Quick very helpful and courteous. My experience was great from start to finish. The crew arrived right on time, did a walk through of my home to evaluate all items that needed to be moved and began work right away. They did a great job of working efficiently and quickly while also making sure to appropriately wrap all my belongings and move them with care. They arrived to my new apartment right on time and swiftly began moving items in, making sure to ask where I wanted each box and item. Actually STI showed up at my home to move to me to Arkansas without my knowledge because American Van Lines failed to notify me that they hired them as a third party mover. I was very apprehensive but Jimmy reassured me that they would do a good job and to my surprise that did an outstanding job packing. When goods arrived I had Roberto and Miguel and again was presently surprised as to how courteous and efficient they were in unloading and found no damage to my furniture and all items were accounted for. I must admit I was scared and even skeptical. I often think with so many good reviews it’s a possibility that it could be fake. Well, I’m real and so is this review. I had a small one bedroom move from San Diego, CA to Round Lake, IL. There are A LOT of scam movers and I even experienced one with charter van lines. I would recommend to not do brokers because you get what you pay for! I decided against moving with Charter and chose STI. I’m glad I did. They were a bit more expensive but I decided my things were worth it. On the day of arrival they did come earlier than expected on the second day of the 3 day window which was fine with me. My mover was Jimmy and Mondo. They did an excellent job with securing everything and packing it up into the truck perfectly. No damage was done to the furniture or home on the way out and I was very impressed. The dispatcher said they had a 14 business days window for delivery since it was such a long move. That was to be expected and every moving company pretty much said the same. However, they had my things to me within 4 business days (6 days total) which is amazing. They arrived Thursday afternoon on time as scheduled and allowed me to do a complete inventory as they move my things into my new home. I examined everything closely as they moved it inside. Not a box damaged!!! I can’t believe it. Everything was accounted for. Jimmy was at the drop off with a young man that I didn’t get a chance to get his name but both were great! This move was nothing less than perfect. I have not started unpacking and I will update as soon as I do!

My lease end date was not at the end of the month and my move date was not set in stone. They were flexible with me (during peak moving season) to ensure there was a team available when I needed. This was my first time hiring movers and I was very impressed with the level of care they took with my stuff. They wrapped things and disassembled furniture as though it belonged to them. I expected some things to get scuffed, at least - not at all. I had two stops. One to a storage unit and the other to my new apartment. They made sure everything got to the right place and they were really friendly the entire time. I ended up spending more than I'd planned, but that was entirely my fault for underestimating how much stuff I had and how much time it would take to drive through Chicago traffic. I'd definitely hire them again.

I hired STI to move a heavy bedroom set from a second floor, down a curved staircase. I just had new white carpeting installed in the bedroom and I was concerned about the carpeting getting dirty. Edmundo, Thomas and Freddie were fantastic to work with. They carefully protected the carpeting and wrapped the furniture to protect it during transit. All three were extremely hard working, worked quickly, and were extremely polite. One of the best moving experiences I have had. I would definitely hire STI again and would highly recommend.

Tony and his crew were great. They were on time and efficient. When our larger item did not fit into the elevator, they hiked it up 17 flights! Just be prepared when they come because they start packing items right away and if you haven't set things aside or are ready to label them, then they will get lost in the frenzy. The only reason I didn't give them 5 stars is because our coordinator underestimated how much packing supplies we would need and the final quote was a few hundred bucks more than anticipated. But overall, I used them and so did my parents for a cross-country move last year and no complaints.

Donny and Phil and lady at the front desk (so sorry, can't remember her name!) did a great job of helping me plan and schedule and accommodated two date changes. Best of all, the cost came in under estimate! Thank you for rescuing one frazzled customer! Would highly recommend STI Movers and will use in the future.

I have used this company twice for local moves in the Chicago area. LOVE THEM! They are affordable, punctual, thorough, and quick with the move. One thing I loved the most was that the guys possess the perfect balance of being careful with your items, but getting the move done quickly. This is huge since the move is charged based on time to complete the job. I will definitely use them again!

I can't say enough great things about our experience with STI. From the beginning, they worked hard to earn our business and our trust. I contacted four other big name reputable movers - their quotes were thousands more than STI and their customer service skills were seriously lacking. STI stayed in touch during the months it took us to sell and honestly was the only company who seemed to want my business. We moved a six bedroom from Chicago to Atlanta and not one thing was broken. Our family has moved several times and always had things broken on arrival. The crew was incredibly quick and thorough packing. Efi and Solana were on site to make sure things were running smoothly. Tony our driver and foreman was fantastic and his crew unpacked so efficiently. Our new driveway was no picnic but it was no problem for them. This is our 6th move in 8 years and this has hands down been the smoothest we have ever had. We haven't had our stuff delivered yet, so I will update if something goes wrong, but move out day and prep for it could have not gone smoother. Sasha did a quick perfect but estimation, and the movers got to our place early with a full and respectful team and did a full pack and move of our large 2b2b in 6 hours.
