Our movers from Charleston were great! We had no issues! They loaded up our items in PA and met us in IL in under 48 hours! Very convenient and efficient. Not a single item was damaged or broken. They were very professional and I would use them again!!

My husband and I had never hired a professional moving company before, and didn’t know the first thing about how to do it. The staff at Central Van Line are very knowledgeable, kind, and courteous. They took their time to answer all our questions and concerns. The drivers were on time and very efficient, they too answered any questions we had. They were very kind, friendly, and very respectful. They took the utmost care with our things when loading and unloading. They are a great couple of guys. If we ever need a moving service again, they will be our first call. I was very nervous on moving day as I had not moved in almost 25 years. These guys put me at ease by showing up 20 minutes early and doing their job very professionally. It took about 3 hour’s total from arrival at our old place to their departure from our new place. They worked well together and everything went very smoothly. Our moving day went as smoothly as I had hoped it would!

They were quick to get Todd out to the house for the estimate and he explained the entire process and got us on their schedule for the dates we requested. Matt and his team arrived on time to pack and load. This included 2 days of packing and 2 days of loading. Because our move was under 450 miles (420) we had Matt and his team as the transport and unloading guys too. It all went smoothly and nothing got lost or broken. I would definitely recommend Central Van Lines part of Allied for your moving needs.

They helped me out of a bind in regards to scheduling an out of state move, from Ohio to Florida, with just 5 days notice. I was almost scammed by another moving broker, with less than 6 days to go before we had to be out of our place. Allied and Central Van Lines came to the rescue! Everyone from the estimator, the coordinator, and the drivers and delivery crew, did an outstanding job! Delivery went down on a steamy, hot day in Florida without a hitch. Everyone was courteous and professional. We hope we never have to move again, but if we do we'll be using Central Van Lines!

We had an excellent experience moving from Charleston, WV to Falls Church, Virginia. Central Van and Storage packed up our home, stored our furniture and boxes for several weeks and then moved us into our new home. They worked with me on a convenient delivery date , the movers were professional and took care of all of our belongings. We highly recommend this company.

We were generally pleased by the services. The paperwork and services were provided on time, the employees were courteous and pleasant, and the move was handled expeditiously and completed as and when promised. In a move of this magnitude, it was unlikely that nothing would be marred or damaged, but all in all we were pleased by the move and the movers. We had several minor matters which we will pursue, but all in all we were quite satisfied.

I may have lucked out with this moving company. After extensive searching and seeing mostly negative expierences across the board I called Allied which connected me with their local partnered moving company. Allied is not a broker who randomly contracts with local companies. Their local affiliates are trained and associated directly with Allied. I found there are only a few national moving companies that do that. Most are brokers who just farm put your move which explained a wide range of reviews and complaints on last minute charges. From the onset, Central Van and Storage was fantastic. From booking the in-person inspection/inventory to delivery. They were able to accomidate my schedule. Todd who conducted the inspection was through and explained the process to me. I could not be there so we talked over the phone. Once I contracted with them, I was turned over to Donna my movment coordinator. She kept in touch with me during the inital process to make sure connected with the packers. I requested a partial pack and for vehcile transport. The entire expierence was excellent. The packers who came a day before the move were courteous and professional. Not to mention funny. The did a fantastic job packing up my breakable (not a single issue when I unpacked at my destination) and the remaing things I was unable to pack. To make things quick for the loading crew the next day they packed what they could in the truck. It was a long day but worth it. The loading crew the next day was equally great and were in and out in under 4 hours. The Allied hauler, Rick from Central Van out of Pittsburg, was also great! He contacted me well before delivery to confirm approximate dates and if I had any constraints. He called me once he could confirm the date and gave me a time window. He called me the night before delivery and then again when he was in route. The unloading process was smooth. The local guys allied used to offload were efficient and also funny. They even offered to help move things around for me since I was by myself. Finally my vehicle delivery was also smooth. The vehicle hauling company that was contracted by Central Van, McCollister’s Auto Logistics, continued with the great service. Their communication was excellent from pick up to delivery and the driver met the drop off window as promised. This process was truly painless and well worth the money in time saved and less stress. Allied has an excellent partner in Central Van & Storage, Poca WV.

Representative who came to the house was very personable and informative, answering all my questions. The lady I spoke with on the phone was friendly and professional and helped me through the process Loading crew was also very nice and handled my belongings with care. Although I would have liked an earlier delivery I understood the schedule. The only complaint I have is that I have not received my refund of over $1,000.00 and it has been over 2 weeks since delivery!

We had the best experience with our moving company. At first it was doubtful because of the weather, but they did come and loaded us without a problem. We drove to North Carolina in the snow, and closed on our house on a Thursday, our household goods were delivered to us Saturday morning as promised. I would recommend this company to anyone making an out of state move. Great job and they were very professional

I enjoyed working with Allied for my move from Chalreston, West Virginia to New Orleans, Louisiana. They were personable, attentive and friendly. The local packers (Beth, Marquita, and Jessie) were courteous, professional, and VERY helpful. Jessie was very hard working and did an wonderful job of anticipating and preparing me for the move to make sure it went smoothly. Rich the driver along with AJ and Chris helped me feel comfortable and at ease that they would be careful with my belongings and that they would be on-time. They did a great job on both the loading and unloading activities. I would use them again without hesitation!

I had an excellent experience with Central Van & Storage, from the time their estimator Todd came out to the time I was unloaded at my new place. Everybody arrived on time, did what they said they were going to do, and the price I was quoted was locked in when I agreed to it. No extra charges or any nonsense like that. None of pay but people that you work with are hard workers and There’s no overtime which is a red flag but if you help your friend or family move out of the house or into a house then you can really help them on how to stack because that’s what happened today I had to stack very very high into U-Haul in order to get everything from the house

Quick response to request for move. Kept in touch regarding change of date we requested. Prompt arrival times and due to unforeseen circumstance were a day late delivering but completed within three hours after arriving. All large items were in place before they left.
