Jose R. and his team were great! They were quick and professional. They packed our home with care. We were in our new home in record time and all our items arrived in perfect condition. Each member of Zip Moving were exceptional including Beth, Dean Joel and David. I had a few adjustments to the initial estimate and they made my move easy and stress free.

Hi All, I moved July 2022 and it was beyond stressful but Zip Moving was EXCELLENT and took off a lot of the stress. From the start Martin - Daria - my sales reps were professional & excellent with quotes & scheduling. The actual movers Joel & Orlando- called me about arrival time - came on time - did an EXCELLENT job. They both listened to my needs and concerns; assessed the job; moved my belongings with care & were professional and fun:) We then went to my new place - which was hectic because of many things - but they were calm and cool. They moved me into my new place with the same care. During the move in the manager called me to find out about my experience - that was NICE! I assured him of the great care I was in with Joel & Orlando! They did the job in a wonderful timeframe -quick and pleasant. Joel ended services professionally, accurately, showing me details on what I was paying for and why & with the process of payment! I actually had a smile on my face during this move in and Joel & Orlando assisted with that smile. I would highly recommend ZIP Moving & Storage if you are moving. Zip did a wonderful job from start to finish. Weeks prior to the move, my moving coordinator Dean walked me through the estimate and helped me set up my inventory. On the day of, Joel and his partner showed up right on time and were friendly and quick, and were supportive of a last minute increase in travel distance due to a car parking in our reserved spot in front of the new building. At the end there was no attempt to upsell on anything and the price was well within the estimate range. Overall I have no complaints, they performed well on every aspect you want from a moving company. I definitely plan to use them again next time I move.

Zip Moving was fantastic. Our coordinator did an excellent job of communicating with us throughout the process. Fernando and his time arrived at the tail end of the arrival window and worked quickly to pack and load our apartment. We then stopped at our storage unit before arriving at our new home. They worked quickly but carefully and were very professional. I would highly recommend them for your moving needs!

Zip Moving and Storage is a first class moving and storage company. Everyone we dealt with was professional. The estimated prices discussed at the onset were very reasonable and the overall cost turned out to be less when all was said and done. Zip stored our property for two months while we waited for our new home to be completed. The moving crews (2) supervised by Martinez Fernan were professional and courteous throughout the moves taking great care not to damage anything. We would highly recommend using their services.

I recently had a short distance move with Zip. Everything was easy to setup, website was straight forward and helpful. The team was constantly in touch and easy to reach if needed. The movers arrived on time, got straight to work and finished under their estimated time. The price was comparable to other moving companies. The delicate items were wrapped and well secured. Zip is not a middle man company, you work with Zip and Zip movers are who arrive. They are insured and were able to provide a COI to my apartment complex as required. Hopefully I don't need a moving company anytime soon, but if so it will be Zip!

Heard back from Zip pretty quickly after sending in my request for a quote on moving, helped me to fill out the inventory sheet and schedule a day to move. Kept in contact with me about when they would be there. Once the guys were here they confirmed with me everything that i wanted them to take then they wrapped all of my furniture up really well and took it into the truck. Once at my house they checked where i wanted everything, asking as they went to make sure. Even putting back together the furniture they had to take apart to move it. Very satisfied with Zip moving definitely very worth the price for the job that they did. the guys were very nice and fairly quick moving me out and then in.

This was the easiest move I’ve done, Jorge and his nephew carefully packed & moved all my furniture and were very kind. They made sure everything was getting placed in the right room in the new place too. Even the customer service when I called to get an estimate was great. Fairly priced and so efficient. Fernando and his team did an excellent job in carefully wrapping and moving our furniture from the late 1700s and the early 1800s. Everything was incredibly fragile and priceless! Their attention to detail and caution where needed was greatly appreciated. We cannot say anything more than that they were far beyond our expectations! We had no damage whatsoever! And they were willing to wrap anything that we requested. I would highly recommend them again for future use.

I recommend Zip Moving and Storage over any other moving service. Javier and his team arrived at the promised time, were careful and quick, and made sure to ask all the right questions in order to get my items exactly where I wanted them. They were professional and treated my belongings with care. They even offered their own blankets and boxes to extra wrap my fragile items to make sure everything was secure. I couldn’t have done this on my own, and they saved the day on my last minute move. By the way; I live on the third floor of an apartment complex and they managed to complete the job perfectly. If you have the option of asking for Javier and his guys, you won’t regret it! 10/10

Please note that this is an updated review. I had a bad moving experience with this company but I’ve never seen a company work harder to rectify the mistakes which occurred. It was strange as the move began well but midway the crew simply went off plan, leaving me in a lurch. My representative Nathan, after I have been in my home a week (swimming in boxes of dumped drawer items and unassembled furniture due to the movers change of practice with no hope because I’m disabled and unemployed) continued communicating with me finally offering to refund the cost of the move. I really hope that it comes to pass so that I can finally transition into my home.

5 star team! Had to move a 2 room apartment to a new house with 3 floors in the next county over. These guys are fast! They called 30 minutes before they arrived, and were very prompt and professional. Three gentlemen did a walkthrough of the apartment to understand the best route for moving my belongings. Most of my items were packed and ready, but they had to re-pack a few items to ensure their safety. Notably, they moved a couch, two beds, and carefully handled my tv and the credenza. All this, within a matter of two hours. From there, we walked through the apartment to ensure they got everything, and we even got a surprise visit from the manager to make sure we were being taken care of. When we got to the new house, they delivered all of our items in their rightful places, and asking us where each item goes. By the time I finished lunch, my furniture was in place. Moving in only took about an hour and a half, and after a final walkthrough, we paid a very reasonable amount for their work. Decided to write this a couple weeks after the moving day, and happy to say all of our items are intact and undamaged. If you need to move, look no further than Zip Moving!

Everything about our experience was excellent! I chose Zip because of all the companies that I received quotes from, I felt like they really understood the scope of what we needed to move the best. The move team arrived on time, were easy to communicate with and took great care of all of our things. When unloading they were so nice to make sure that they placed everything exactly where we wanted it to go and set up our furniture so we were set for our first night in our new house.

Given that this is not the first time I use Zip Moving and Storage, I can honestly say they continue to excel with their customer and overall amazing services. When I gave them a call a little over two months ago, I instantly remembered why I had previously chosen Zip for my other moves. David Novak, my Moving Coordinator, was very attentive to all my needs, and very understanding about the importance of my move (and my mental sanity). In less than 30 minutes, I had a quote, a confirmed date, and a full description of all the things I needed to know prior to my move. Their website was also extremely user-friendly, and it answered all of my questions prior to initially contacting Zip. I even decided to got for the full packing service… what a lifesaver and timesaver!!!! I was assured once again that everything will be handled for me without any stress — and they were definitely right!!! With just a few weeks before my move date, David answered all my emails and was very helpful providing with other options, in the case that my original move date could change. Fast forward to a week and a half before my move, I received a call from Peter Bozic (my other Moving Coordinator). He wanted to confirm my move date, answer any questions I might have had, and provide me with more specific details about the movers and the move itself. Peter was extremely friendly, helpful, reassuring and understanding of my accommodations, regarding PPE. This was extremely important for me, as I am part of the vulnerable population that can’t be exposed. The day before the move and the day of the move, Peter called me to assure me that he’s been in contact with the movers and that I’d be receiving a call from them with an estimate time of arrival. As promised, the movers called me 30 minutes before arrival to let me know they were on their way. When they arrived, they were already wearing masks and gloves. Aside from the great customer service by both David and Peter, I have to rave about my movers, Jorge and Nemanja. They disassemble and assemble, pack, and move everything for me - I didn’t even have to lift a finger! It was a huge weight lifted off my shoulders. They were so, so, so careful when handling all of my stuff (making me aware of the things that were already damaged), and packing the plates, glasses, artwork, amongst other valuables. Nothing was broken, nor scratched. My new address has a very complicated entrance for moving trucks. I was convinced the truck wouldn’t fit in the back alley. Surprise, surprise… Jorge maneuvered that truck like a pro and was able to successfully park it. Another huge hurdle was the size of the elevator compared to the size of my 3-piece sectional sofa, let’s just say I was worried. I decided to wait upstairs, and in less than 20 minutes, my sofa was assemble. Jorge and Nemanja were fast, clean, and polite. Incredible! Peter called me a few hours into the move to ask how things were going, and once again after the movers were done to ask how things went. I honestly can’t emphasize how amazing Zip Moving and Storage is! I’m so grateful. From months before my move up until well after the last piece of furniture was assemble in my new place, Zip’s customer service and attention to detail truly exceeded all my expectations (once again!). NO damages, NO tears, NO anything. I would recommend it to anyone and everyone! Thank you for everything, and thank you for making my move stress free and just great!

From start to finish, this was the best moving experience we’ve ever had (and we’ve had many). The quote was pretty much spot on. And you might pay a little bit more for Zip, but it is definitely worth it. The team showed up on time, and they took GREAT care of our furniture. We did the full packing, which was extra but worth it. The three gentlemen, Esau, Dennis, and Pablo, worked unbelievably hard, but they were kind and polite throughout. At the end of the day our furniture was reassembled and ready to go. I highly recommend them, and we will definitely be using them again.

The crew was professional and courteous and took great care packing my items. They did not damage my walls in any significant way and I was overall very happy with the way they handled our belongings. Only complaint was that it took a very long time. Having done several military moves now I have a good feel for how long things should take and this move took twice the time it normally would have. Booking was easy. I will say that my final payment did jump up about $1000 from my initial estimate, which I believe is due to not actually having someone come out and provide a quote based on what they see. They just kind of ask you what you have and give an estimate from that + the extra hours it took the moving team, in the end the cost of my move almost doubled. I would use this company again because of how well they handled our stuff, but would definitely budget extra time and money for the move.

I had a great experience with Zip. Before moving day, I worked with two members of their team, Andrew and Nathan, to handle the service estimate and account for my needs. Then, on moving day I worked with Milos and Orlando. Since it was a local move I decided to pack and move the smaller items myself, and have Zip assist with the larger furniture. They wrapped and protected about 22 large furniture pieces, brought them over, and placed them to my preference at my new place. Even during the move they continued to communicate and keep me updated with any questions. The guys were friendly and considerate. I would definitely move with them again and I felt that the cost of their service was fair. Just make sure you be as detailed as possible when presenting your needs and what items are being moved so that they can give you an accurate estimate. I gave them as much info as I could and my estimate was very accurate compared to the final cost.

The three person crew was right on time and extremely efficient but safely handled and transported my furniture to my new home and also some to storage. I had some very large and heavy pieces, and they padded and wrapped them well, so no glass broke and everything arrived fine. The initial call to arrange was relatively easy, the company was responsive, professional, and on time. The cost was reasonable comparative to other area movers. The movers were quite good, careful, and worked non-stop with no issues or problems. I knocked 1 star off because the initial company representative that provided me with a quote of 7 to 8 hours to complete the move said that was an estimate on the very high end and it would likely take less time. It turned out that it took 8-1/2 hours and the cost was a bit more than what was quoted.

We’re super lucky we got Milos and his team. Showed up on time, packed our belongings way better and more secure than other movers we’ve had, and got them to our new location in record time. I couldn’t believe how meticulous and carefully all of our pieces of furniture were delivered. Super friendly from the very beginning right through to the end. I was called a few hours after making a request for a quote by a very professional rep from Zip (David). He walked me through every room of the house to capture all the pieces that needed to be moved. I was then called approximately 7 days prior to the move to confirm everything. The 3 movers showed up on time and very super quick packing up my furniture. They were also very careful and everything was put into blankets or padding. The unpacking was just as fast and professional. Best money spent!!!

I hired Zips Moving and Storage company to move furniture from Bethesda, MD to Ocean View, Delaware. In return, they brought back furniture from Ocean View to my condo in Bethesda. There were several pieces that needed GREAT care as they had been in our family for over 45 years and Milan made sure they were wrapped properly and safely put into the moving truck. The other movers that came with Milan were very good too. They all came masked which made me feel more comfortable as well. There pricing was fair and their communication was amazing. I had a hand made, one of a kind entertainment center/wall unit moved. This unit is solid wood, 8 ft long and extremely heavy! My moving team took such good care of it! They wrapped it up so that it wouldn't get damaged in the move and took extra care to put it in and take it out of the truck. I would definitely use them again and would recommend them to my friends. We contracted with Colonial Van Lines for a move from Washington DC to Nashville TN and they partnered with Zip who is a local DC affiliate. Alex and Benigno were great movers - arrived exactly when expected, contacted us ahead, carefully wrapped all of the furniture and answered all of our questions. Having helped many friends move over the last few years, I was set on hiring movers so that I didn't need to ask my friends to help me, and I'm so glad I did. Milos and Jeffry were fantastic movers, and moved quickly, and responsibly. The whole move fit very neatly in the time estimate provided. Once the movers showed up we did a walk through and I explained what was going, and what wasn't. Once done, we went over the paperwork then they got started. I was only moving 1 bedroom, but it still surprised me how quick everything was loaded up. We met at the destination, and while there was a problem with another moving truck being in the way for a while, we were able to sort it out quickly and got everything off the truck just as quickly. Everything from the first call looking for an estimate to when we finished the paperwork at the end was handled really well, and I will definitely be a repeat customer when I need to move again.

We finished moving an hour less of the projected time even with the unexpected broken elevator (apartment was at 4th floor). Sergio and his partner was professional throughout the whole move. Zip Moving really went above the call for me. Kat (admin office) was phenomenal to work with. I had a tough situation and needed to move quickly - they were extremely accommodating on the logistics. I didn’t even have a place to live when I booked! As things continued to change they always had a solution. Mike (my moving coordinator) arrived and they moved everything efficiently even though things had changed again the morning that they arrived. My husband and I moved from DC to Boston. This was our first time hiring movers, and the service was outstanding and we would absolutely use Zip Moving and Storage again. Everyone was very professional and courteous. The moving consultant was thorough in answering our questions about inventory and booking, which gave us great comfort from the very start. We did purchase moving insurance because we had a very large and expensive TV, but ended up not needing it because the movers were so cautious. The movers were amazingly fast and very efficient in wrapping and moving our furniture. They were also able to deliver it on the first day of their original estimated delivery window, so we had our furniture immediately after moving in. They also gave us plenty of advanced notice on estimated arrivals, we were impressed by the level of communication. Overall very happy with the service and speed, and we felt the pricing was more than fair for such a stress free experience. I don’t think we’ll ever want to move furniture ourselves again.

The only complaint I have is that I was not told I would be charged extra for anything that needed to be shrink-wrapped (which is highly recommended for the bigger pieces of furniture) however, maybe I just missed it in our initial conversation. I also opted in for a "mattress cover" for $25 but instead the mattress was just shrink-wrapped, so again, maybe I just misunderstood. However, neither of these things would deter me from using Zip Moving again. They were simply amazing!

Three strong, gentle men and a large truck showed up and efficiently moved my household from VA to MA. I have some extra heavy pieces, a rosewood bar that weighs 250 lbs or so, an antique china closet 7 feet wide by 7 feet tall, an enormous hardwood dining table, a large, heavy, glass-topped table, another all glass table, plus the usual chairs, beds, tables, and more than 80 boxes. I moved from DC to Chicago and had a very good experience overall. The coordination was thorough - David and Peter helped me put together an inventory for pricing and update it a few days before the move with a few changes. The movers packed our belongings and did a great job protecting everything. The only damage we had was to one couch that scraped against a doorway when it was being delivered. The movers all wore masks and were very friendly and professional. The only disappointment from the move was the schedule for pick up and delivery. We had requested a Monday pick up, but it ended up being Tuesday. Peter did let me know that the pick up would be Monday or Tuesday (they always hold a two day window until they can confirm availability of the truck and crew), but we really wanted pick up to be Monday. I had taken the week off work for the move with the intent to have time at the new house to get some projects done before going back to work. Losing the extra day at the new house was really disappointing. The delivery window is longer (up to 10 days after the furniture is picked up). Again, we were hoping to receive our belongings sooner but ended up getting it on the very last day of the delivery window. Both the pick up and delivery fit into the timelines that were provided so it wasn't anything that Zip did wrong or miscommunicated, it was just not what we were hoping for. All in all, the move went about as smoothly as could be expected and Zip did a great job.

Then I had a personal moving consultant follow up - Peter Bosic who was in touch frequently to lock down the box count as close as possible and make sure if anything needed to be added or removed from my list. They aim to get your estimate/quote as spot on as possible based on what you are taking - so be thorough! Move day - the crew was on time and FAST. My crew was led by Sergio and my team were all polite, professional and went above and beyond. I think they put in the incorrect address. The lead guy in this crew was a bit rude upon arrival but eased up after a while. The entire process was pretty seamless. My moving coordinator was awesome. I was very skeptical at first as I had a bad experience with another moving company that charged me double, didn’t complete setting up the furniture and damaged the walls and doors in our house. But These guys were excellent. They arrived in a timely fashion and were very courteous! They were careful not to scratch or damage walls and doors as well as Furniture. Zip Moving and Storage was very responsive from the first exchange. They have a website where you have a personal page, and you can list your inventory. Also, they are able to do a virtual tour of your house/apt to help you with your inventory list. It is important to be careful with the estimate, because it is based on weight, and most likely the price will be higher than what is stated. Overall the pickup went smoothly. They were able to get everything out in a timely matter, and packed our furniture, t.v., and artwork. These are extra charges and not part of the estimate. The delivery date was changed which created a little bit of a problem, but Zip Moving and Storage was very responsive with my issues, and we were able to resolve them, and come to an agreed solution. Moving is stressful, and there are always bumps in the road. Zip Moving and Storage strives to have satisfied customers, and is willing to work to help them out.

I stumbled upon Zip Moving and Storage based on their 5 star rating across Google and Yelp. I was skeptical at first since I thought a perfect rating for a moving company was too good to be true - however I went ahead with them and am so glad I did. Right from the process of getting the quote, to getting the booking confirmed and the actual pickup and delivery things could not have been more perfect. Novak and Igor did a great job in going through the inventory and keeping the estimate as realistic as possible. All the charges and clauses where explained right up front - no cost was hidden. The entire process was very transparent and there were multiple courtesy calls just to ensure everything was in order. The move was seamless – Danijel, Jamie and team were very professional. All appointments were honored, the items packed, stored and delivered with utmost care. Since I went for the full pack option I did not have to lift a finger. Overall extremely pleased with the experience. And, to top it all there was not even a dink in anything - every single piece was delivered intact and they delivered way ahead of the average time. Would be using them in all future moves. I definitely recommend them - you will not be disappointed!

I was extra cautious with Zip and bought insurance, but frankly while it gave me piece of mind, it was a waste of money as ZIP did the job wonderfully, met 6 guys at pickup and delivery who were all professionals, talked to Igor in billing and man I am impressed, Zip is competitive in pricing and is the BEST moving service nationwide, I would suggest get on their schedule if you can, it is all worth the money. Small details are taken care of. At pickup there was no rain, but at delivery their was, what i saw was incredible, where they saw the weather forecast and already wrapped everything, so it doesn't affect while they are delivering! 1000% Top-Notch Service!
