My husband and I were so impressed with this moving company! They are extremely polite and are more than willing to help in any way that they can. When they moved us a few years ago, they were amazing! We have since recommended them to several friends and they have all been very pleased with Pauly's Movers. However, a friend that we sent to Pauly's was upset that the bill was twice the quote that was originally given due to that person adding in additional stops that Pauly's had not been advised of until they arrived at the home. When that person was given the bill, it was double what the quote was for, however, you cannot expect a company to spend a entire day on a move that was scheduled for 4 hours, then complain when they were charged additional for the stops. This is a GREAT business to deal with, they are friendly, professional and very helpful. They are an amazing company and it is a shame that some people feel they can take advantage of others! Thank you, The Hardtke's I used this moving company in 12/18. They are extremely professional and very, very polite. My husband and I were extremely happy with the way they moved our furniture. Everything was wrapped, blanketed and handled with caution. I have an antique curio cabinet and I was concerned that it may be damaged in the move, however, it was delivered with no problems at all and the moving men were amazing. Antonio and his crew were extremely professional, skilled, and expedient movers. They arrived on-time and finished the job shockingly quick without damaging everything. They were almost too polite! Only downside is company charges a minimum so despite being done in two hours I paid the 3-hour minimum. Would recommend especially for larger moves that will actually take up the minimum! Tony was easy to talk to in setting up the move-in day and the crew remained flexible while my POD delivery was in limbo. Thanks!

We had the pleasure of having Pauly's Movers move us. They arrived exactly on time. Three men and a huge truck. They were extremely polite and very hard working. They started at 9:30 am and worked straight through till 8 pm. When ever we tried to help with something they would say that's our job we've got this. How great is that. Tony was a pleasure to deal with. Nothing was ever too difficult. He always kept assuring us " Don't worry, we'll take good care of you" and they did. I would highly recommend Pauly's. Their prices were very fair, the work ethic was excellent and their movers were friendly, professional and top notch.

This is my second move using Pauly’s Movers. They were just as good if not better than the first time!!! The workers were very polite and worked extremely hard. They moved me out of state and was by far the best price I could find. They got everything done on a timely manner and were very organized. They helped me pack up a lotttt of my belongings and once everything was unloaded, they helped me assemble some of my furniture. I definitely recommend Pauly’s movers. I’ve used their services twice. Our first move was a last minute move, they were able to help when the movers i had hired originally canceled on me. Very professional and friendly staff. I didn’t have to move anything, not even my clothes out of the drawers of my dressers. Everything was wrapped, and none of my furniture was damaged. They did such a great job the first time I had to use them again. Job well done guys!!!

Fast and efficient. The movers got me out of my storage unit and into my apartment in under 4 hours (issues with the loading dock at the apartment which is no fault of theirs). This is the 2nd time I used them. I’ve never used professional movers before but believe they were fair and thorough. I’m not sure what to compare their prices to but I know they were better than 2 Men and A Truck who started around $700 for my one bedroom. I will use them again for my next move.

If you want honest, hard-working, no-nonsense movers, this is the company to call!! What an amazing bunch of guys! they were polite, courteous, professional and incredibly hard-working! We had a complex move (2 truckloads, 2 flights of stairs, lots of stuff!) They made a long day relatively stress-free and they took really good care of our new home and all of our belongings. Don’t know how they managed to get big heavy furniture up and down stairs and around corners without any damage, but they did it! Can’t say enough about this company and this crew. And they are local and affordable! We hope to never move again, but if we do, these are the guys we’ll call!! 👍 Highly recommend them!!

Daryll and a great partner (I can't remember his name...I got busy and am leaving this review three weeks after the service) provided a move of furniture and personal items from my home to the location of the owner of the items. They were near time, were incredibly nice and polite, maneuvered backing into my ally way (precarious at best) and then professionally and rapidly loaded up the items. The truck was in good shape and had a lift which no doubt helped with efficiency (kudos to Pauly's for not skimping on equipment). The were the nicest two men that I have ever worked with in context of a move. They got the stuff to the location, unloaded as instructed and sent me a picture just to wrap things up. I would use them again in the future and have recommended them to anyone I can talk to. OUTSTANDING!

I’m sad to be giving this moving company a low review, I really was hoping to add to the pile of 5 star reviews. If you are looking for a moving company to move you locally, this is probably a great company to work with. I had great customer service while booking with Tony. He assured me that this company was honest, efficient, well-qualified and fair. I was so relieved after searching for weeks and coming up short. We were booking a tricky, long distance move with some unique complications like a long hallway, far loading dock, and let’s not start on the DC traffic involved with a move from Baltimore to Virginia Beach. These are all concerns I brought to Tony’s attention and he reassured me that he thought we would be on the mark with our quote. When the emailed quote came through, it was listed as the higher end of his verbal quote range. This worried me a little, so I asked him about that and he said he thought that was worst case scenario and they weren’t looking to nickel and dime us. (Almost laughable now that I was concerned with a couple hundred bucks). Fast forward to moving day. We had the greatest crew who took excellent care of us. We were thrilled with these guys and honestly couldn’t have asked for better. However, once payment time came (while all of the belongings are still on the truck, before they can begin unloading), I was presented with a bill more than $1,000 higher than we were quoted. This is not something we were prepared for. This is not anything that we were warned about or thought would happen. It’s extremely disappointing that we were quoted so far off from the final bill (quote was $2,100-$2,300/ final bill was $3,312). It was more than 30% of an increase. We feel blindsided. I would say definitely use these guys for a local move. Definitely stress any setbacks that could complicate your move and incur added time. But for a long distance move, I’m not sure I could recommend this, because you may not have a clear picture of the cost you’re actually signing up for. I trusted this company, but their low estimate just really ended up screwing us in the end.

paul did an outstanding job. We were moving primarily boxes and totes from our new home in Gaithersburg to our storage center in Rockville Unfortunately, it was a rainy day and the guys had to make a lot of trips from our garage and inside the house to load the stuff, as we were not as organized as we should have been. When we got to the storage center, where we had two separate units, I was directing them where to put the various boxes/totes, and on several occasions after they had placed the stuff, I realized it was in the wrong unit (my fault) and they had to move it from one to the other, which they did cheerfully. The movers were terrific, in spite of the increasingly heavy rain, as were the office staff members with whom we had dealings. Highly recommend them to everyone Paul and his team are great and very hard working no matter the weather.
