Terry and his wonderful crew helped us with our local move recently, and all I can say is I wish I could have hired them for all the other bad moves I've experience! My wife and I have moved a lot, and in my experience, I just didn't think it would ever be possible to leave a positive review for a moving company. I've been burned before pretty much every time. What a breath of fresh air it was with My Guys. From the beginning, Terry was thorough. He asked if he could come see the belongings in person so that he can give an accurate estimate. (Most didn't ask for that and just made up numbers). He then gave an estimate, and told me it would probably be less than that, but just wanted me to be prepared. Sure enough, the final charges were actually LESS than the estimate! (The total opposite happened the last time we moved). They scheduled us quickly, with flexibility to our schedules, and on moving day had a very polite and extremely hard working crew arrive for our move. They were efficient, but not so rushed that they didn't handle our items with care. In fact their handling was superb. They then delivered everything to our new home, prepping the home with floor and staircase protection first, and asking where we wanted things to set up our furniture and items just the way we wanted. They even helped repair my treadmill that the other movers damaged in storage! We had a complicated and large move (3 different pick up spots arriving into one home, with a LOT of stuff!) and they handled it well at a cost better than my last few moves. I hope we don't move again for a long time, but if I did, I would not hesitate to hire them again!

Absolutely amazing moving service from sign up with Terry Williams getting moving tips and free moving boxes and tapes to the final move . Done exceptionally with attention to detail by Manny and his crew of 6 we finished 4 bhk single family home move in 8.75 hrs. No fussing or complaints fantastic professionalism by each member in the moving team. I highly recommend my guys moving, if you deserve the best and most reasonable crew to address your moving needs look no further.

I used these guys for a local move today. They went to a property, drove to a storage unit to load more stuff then came to my house. I thought the price was fair, company is incredibly responsive, the guys were polite and professional. If you need someone to handle a move for you then you should start with MyGuys. Items had had them move were heavy and some were both heavy and delicate.

This is a wonderful company. Beginning with the initial estimate which included a very professional home visit. Mr. Williams was our first point of contact who thoroughly explained what to expect. The pre-move and follow up was reassuring. The movers were exceptional! They were professional, friendly, courteous and helpful. They did a superb job from the beginning until they finished. They made sure we were completely satisfied. This was a 5-Star Moving experience. There were No hidden surprises or unexpected fees! Excellent service!

Using this moving company was the best decision of our entire move. The sales team was very professional and responsive and there are easy online forms, and they called to confirm and offer help with packing the day before. They sent a text with a tracking link to see where the truck was, and the team leader called when they were 5 minutes away. The moving team (Donald, Kevin, and Ramon) were absolutely fantastic. They followed instructions, were very careful with the boxes and furniture to make sure nothing was damaged. At the new home, they laid out runners to protect the floor. I am so impressed and happy with our service! I will be using them in the future when we move again.

My Guys moving was very responsive and helpful throughout the entire experience. When we were pricing our move, they came in at the middle of the other quotes - price wise - but provided two trucks while others just provided the 1. The tracking of the movers was the thing that set them apart from others. The movers were excellent and had a lot of fun with helping us with our intrastate move. They placed furniture exactly how we wanted it in the room and were so fast with loading and unloading What a great experience from the beginning to end, will definitely recommend!

My experience with My Guys has been fantastic! From the initial meeting right up to the time the team arrived, packed up the house and drove out of my driveway I felt well taken care of. Everyone was professional and attentive and really listened to me, showing they cared about my thoughts and feelings. I had a great experience with My Guys Moving. Their quote was $1000 less than another company I contacted. And when I went to pay , it was even less than the quote. I had the team “RBR”, and they were fantastic. Fast. No problems. Respectful. One of them lugged an old chest full of photos up 3 flights with apparent ease. I was so worried about how I would get that chest up there. These men are fit and able and ready to work hard.

We had a bad experience with My guys Moving. All of the clothing they packed in their garment boxes was thrown to the bottom of the box and not properly placed on a hanger. The items didn’t fall off of a hanger in shipment, there was no hanger in the box to begin with. We contacted My Guys with photographs and asked that they reimburse us for the dry cleaning. They were unresponsive. Update: My Guys Moving contacted me and reimbursed us for the dry cleaning cost.

Excellent experience! All 3 movers were very nice, responsive, and personable. Everything was explained well..all bulk items properly wrapped..they helped finish packing ..and took great care with my personal belongings. Very friendly and easy going. They checked in multiple times to ensure everything was collected from where I was moving to everything was in place at my destination. I would recommend to all my friends and family!

The team was great! We live in a 4 story house and the hallways are somewhat narrow with lots of turns. I had couches delivered that were going all the way to the basement and I can honestly say they provided the best service possible. I was getting a little nervous the whole time because doors had to be removed from the frame, washing machines moved, etc. I heard one of the guys say "I'm not a quitter" which made me feel relived! I highly recommend and I will be using this company in the future!

Manny and his crew, Ruben and Mario were terrific! They showed up on time, set up protective padding for the carpet, then got to work quickly and carefully loading all my stuff into their truck. Everyone was happy with the way they took care not to damage the floors or furniture. Once we got to my new place, they unloaded just as efficiently, and reassembled furniture as needed. I would use them for a future move in a heartbeat!

My Guys moving had a big and tough job with us. Long distance move with three trucks. First they gave us the closest estimate to our weight of any other company. We thought we had an excellent price for the job. They confirmed our move, showed up (I hear this is a big issue sometimes) on time and delivered when they said they would. We had no damage! They worked very hard. It was a LOT of stuff and hard work and the crew was great-they even smiled through it all. I would highly recommend them!!!!

Truly an exceptional moving company! I requested a long-distance move to another state, and the team was responsive when it came to estimating my quote accurately and providing a competitive cost. They even assessed my belongings during the quoting phase to confirm that the services I selected made sense for me. The team loaded my belongings (including prepping furniture and taking apart beds), drove 6 hours to the new location, and unloaded my items the next day. When the crew noticed that I didn't use one of the services listed in the quote, they removed it before I completed payment. What a stress-free experience! Definitely worth the price!

I used them for an apartment move within the NOVA area. They were fair with the quoting process, and matched quotes from other movers in the area. The day of the move went phenomenally. The movers arrived within the provided window, and were efficient at loading the truck and were careful with all the furniture. They met us at the new place and again we’re efficient at unloading and setting up the furniture in the new place. I had a complicated bed frame that I was worried about but they expertly handled it. Nothing was broken or damaged on the move. Couldn’t be happier with the service and I will use them again in the future.

10/10! Best movers I have ever worked with and they are professional at what they do! The two guys and woman moved with haste and was quoted for 4-5 hours but they were done in 2. Absolutely great as it saves us time and money and their rates are very affordable. The service was top notch and have nothing to complain about. For real, there is NOONE better than My Guys! This is the 3rd time I’ve used them, including a cross country (well only half way) move and getting us back after a catastrophic experience. Coordination from the beginning was very easy. Ballpark estimates over the phone were pretty close to the actual. Pricing breakdown was clear and transparent. In house walkthrough for the real estimate was easy and convenient. Movers were polite, cautious and took the time to wrap and protect everything. Shocker here...but the final price was cheaper than the estimates (that never happens). Don't forget to tip your movers! Recommended.

We used My Guys Moving for our move from Northern VA to North Carolina. We had never used movers before so we were nervous picking a company to trust with all of our belongings. We looked at another local moving company and a more nationwide company and My Guys beat out the competition! Austin was great to work with and super informative about what all the move would include. He came to our house to give an estimate for the move and went over the details of our move. I never felt pressured to use the company at any point. He gave us his cell phone number and said we could text him with any questions which we really appreciated since texting is generally easier than emailing or calling. Everyone that we worked with between Austin and the movers to organize the move were all very nice. One of the things that pushed us to use them rather than their competition was that they had tracking for the truck so we knew where the movers and our belongings were on their way to NC. This was so nice and gave us a food piece of mind! The morning of the move, the movers showed up and we’re so kind. I have never seen people work so hard, carry so many belongings at one time, and make it all look so easy!!!! Santo, Orlando and Ricardo were amazing! They had everything loaded and unloaded in a couple hours, we couldn’t believe it! I can’t recommend My Guys Moving enough. Their price was more than fair. This is the second move with the company. Before the move, the representative spoke to me via telephone, and I was given an estimate that was very reasonable. Since my move was on a weekend, a representative reached out two days before just to make sure I didn't need any packing materials. The morning of the move I was sent forth a moving tracker to track the move progress. As the first move, they arrived on time, and noted the items needed to pack. The employees were very professional and answered any questions I had. The movers were professional and covered the floors where needed. My final cost was exactly what was quoted from the beginning. I couldn't think they could top my first move, but they did! You'll be happy if you choose them for your moving needs.

These guys are very careful, enthusiastic, and energetic movers. Their team comes to your house and builds a cost estimate based on the weight of your stuff. They weigh it in transit, and for us, their estimate was accurate within 500 lbs. We don't plan on moving for a long time, but if we do, it will be with My Guys.

I was very impressed with the movers they were knowledgeable and when my bedroom set could not make it up the stairs inside the house they devise a plan to take from the outside and up the balcony from the outside of the home and also a lot of my furniture was very heavy to see the workers wear it like a backpack like it weighed 5 pounds was very impressive. I can’t say enough about how easy My Guys Moving made a process I was dreading. From my first contact with Manny and then Mike, our project manager, they answered every question and gave us confidence it was going to be alright. The guys moving our furniture were amazing. Solid, professional, friendly and helpful. They worked their butts off to make our move happen. The office Managment however was very disappointing. They were supposed to send a crew at 8am and gave the crew a wrong phone number. The guys never showed up in the morning as they were supposed to. They were calling the wrong cell. I called the office and they realized they were calling the wrong cell. 7 hours later they finally sent me a crew. They started at 3pm and finished a midnight. Terrible timing. No one wants to finish a move at midnight. We have a toddler and this was a HUGE inconvenience for us. I called the office and asked for a discount and they refused. I couldn’t believe they took 7 hours to send me a different crew. It sounds like my original crew was dispatched to another job and left me hanging. Once my guys showed up they were amazing . It wasn’t their fault the office screw up my cell number. 5 stars to my guys 2 starts to the Managment.

The crew I had for my move the day after Thanksgiving worked their butts off. It was a long day and they kept after it and after it. I moved from a 2 BR apartment and from a large storage unit into a new house--these guys had a "Can Do" attitude all day long. Despite the hard work, they maintained a fun working environment and were a pleasure to be around and interact with. And they were extremely kind and polite to my family. Will himself is an excellent leader - I seriously considered offering him a position with my company having nothing to do with moving. He is a huge asset ; that kind of leadership, resulting in a team composed of loyal, hard-working, kind, and fun people, is a blessing. And is brother, Louis, is just as much of an asset. Everything I said about Will applies to Louis too. The others: Tito, Loanis, Christian, and Eric, were likewise a pleasure to be around. The perfect mix of hard work, humor, and kindness. I plan to use My Guys again in one year - and he main reason I would come back tinstead of opening it up for another evaluation in a year is Will and his crew.

Where to begin. From the first interaction, until the last, My Guys Moving & Storage was the epitome of professionalism and customer service. From Averie conducting the pre-move estimate, to Manny and his team working tirelessly to ensure our move went as smoothly as possible, the team at My Guys made this typically difficult process much easier. Manny and his team don’t know the words “can’t” or “won’t”. I know we weren’t the easiest customers they’ve ever had but they responded to each and every request with a “no problem” and a smile! Really positive experience and I’ve had bad ones over the years. The move took 11 plus hours and I don’t know how the crew does it. The group of 4 worked so hard with nary a break. I have used this company on three occasions and each time the service has been excellent. Santos carefully wrapped and covered my furniture so that it was well protected. Santos crew carefully packed my furniture and boxes on the truck for transport. When it was unloaded, the furniture was in excellent shape. Honestly, I’ve moved a handful of times in my life and this was by far the easiest experience ever. We asked for a team that would be patient at we had to sort through a very large storage unit of our stuff to move into a temporary apartment. They gave us the BEST. These men were incredible. Not one thing was broken, they kept up communication, and they had the best price. No regrets choosing them and would do it again. One tip - count your moving crates when they are dropped off (and count again when you return them so you can be on the same page w/ how many crates you have). Love these guys!! Super nice guys, but showed up in a compact car with no dollies. We had two and offered them for their use. That saved them at least an hour of time. I know we had to pay for four hours minimum, but I feel that was expensive and we should have gotten some credit for the use of our dollies. Hands down the best moving experience I've had. The management made scheduling very easy and let me know what to expect and kept in communication during the move, despite a snowstorm at the origin point. They worked with me to deliver on a Sunday. The price estimated was the price I paid, and it was extremely reasonable - it cost less than a UHaul plus gas plus towing a car would have. The guys were professional, polite, and handled my things carefully. It is hard to find good movers and I will 100% use My Guys again if I ever need to move. 10/10.

4 ppl showed up on time and ready to work. Made short work of my move. Everyone was kind and cordial, and highly skilled. Edwin led his crew masterfully and respected my new house and my belongings. The final price was slightly less than the estimate. The only thing keeping them away from 5 stars in my mind was the truck looked a little dilapidated. The logos had all since fallen off and the truck was just a mash of white paint and grey primer. The moving truck is your first opportunity to make a first impression on a new street, and that truck didn't do it. Everything else was great.

Other than the craziness of my apartment management’s logistics of a very challenging loading dock and a freight elevator down, my guys stepped up the notch and we were able to move out of my apartment juggling through the smaller leasing elevator and use the courtyard after I complained and belly ached on the negative outcome at the overloaded loading dock and non-working elevator. Anyways, My Guys you really stepped up and made my move a synch after we got out of my apartment building. I really wanted to thank you for being able to share the main elevator and nicely set the runners through the apartment leasing lobby entrance to ensure a smooth move out!! Kudos to you!! Moving into my new place was so easy and close that they were able to get all my furniture in and reset my bed within a 2hr window and drop all my boxes in the proper spaces. I have used My Guys Moving & Storage for several moves over the years. At this point, I don't even bother reaching out to other providers as the service and price can't be beat. Moving can be stressful enough as it is, but by using My Guys the actual move doesn't have to be one of them. They are always reliable and attentive to your needs and schedule. My most recent experience, and the reason for this review, is no exception. This move was scheduled for a friend whose buddies backed out on him two days before the move was to take place and couldn't afford movers on his own. A quick call with My Guys and Joe had everything all set. On moving day, the guys were on time (a little early), courteous, and attentive to my friends needs as he had never used professional movers before. They handled his furniture and boxes as if it were their own. They finished well ahead of what I had anticipated. Since you pay by the hour, after the two hour minimum, the move was nearly half of what I had budgeted for. These guys certainly are there to do the work and not eat up the clock. That has not been my experience with others who have a three hour minimum and higher hourly rate after that. I can't recommend My Guys Moving & Storage highly enough. These guys are the best in the area.

I have mixed feelings about my move with MyGuys Moving. The movers were courteous and worked hard for my single family home move. I did have an issue where the movers were not prepared to move a large glass tank because lack of proper equipment. That was understandable so I took it upon myself to purchase expensive suction cups and rescheduled MyGuys Moving for a follow up visit -- I paid them to come back at a later date to make a second attempt. Despite a successful move the second time, the tank was damaged. I figured it would be an easy claims process to resolve the damage because I purchased insurance. Unfortunately I was sorely disappointed. Their customer service/claims representative basically highlighted the fine print that moving large unboxed items was not covered by insurance and offered me a $50 token of appreciation despite the damage being over $1000. My advice to others who are considering a move is to do not initial and sign off on any documents unless your move was flawless without damage. If there is any damage, refuse to sign any documents and take up the issue with claims immediately. Whether the fine print stipulates a high deductible that customer is responsible for, little gotchas about unboxed items, etc, you have to be careful because despite paying $600 for insurance that was suppose to cover up to $120,000 in damages, all I got for my damaged tank was an offer of $50.

My best move experience yet. I have moved a LOT! Mostly local moves plus two longer distance moves. This was my first time using My Guys and I was super impressed. I looked on Yelp for reviews and received quotes from 5 different companies. My Guys insisted on coming out to provide their quote so that it would be accurate. Even with the pandemic, I agreed since my history with moving is that it's always more than they estimate. (And infuriating watching teams move slowly and take long breaks when you're paying a high hourly fee.) So Joe came out, wearing a mask, being very polite and professional. Took a tour of the place and gave me a quote. There was no hard push to buy the extras (like insurance, packing, boxes, etc.) but made me aware they were available. They absolutely were NOT the cheapest quote. However, I assumed at least theirs was accurate so if they came in higher it was probably what the others were going to end up at anyway. Also, I want companies to pay their staff better wages so if their guys are better paid than others, I'm in. They did not disappoint. Team REUBEN showed up on time. Got their truck situated at my apartment so as not to annoy other tenants. Offered to wrap the apartment so they didn't bump into walls, etc which I told him was not necessary. These guys worked hard -- constantly moving, quickly and efficiently. They seemed to be respectful of the fact that I was paying hourly. They wrapped all furniture in blankets and then plastic wrap. I probably didn't do a great packing job so there were many random things around that still needed to get thrown in a box and they took care of that. Wrapped TVs, mirrors, etc. perfectly so there would be no damage. At the new house they literally rolled out the red carpet to protect my rugs and floors and continued at a good steady pace, situating furniture to perfection. Ruben's ideas of where to place furniture were better than mine as he also works on a team that stages houses. The actually cost came out LESS than the estimate which has NEVER happened to me before. I did bring quite a few odds and ends to the new place previously so I'm sure that was part of the reason. But bottom line is that you won't find anyone that does it better ... and the estimates are clearly right on and reasonable, but won't be the lowest you'll get.

They were good. Two issues, first you do pay by the hour and my quote was for 8 hours. They took 9.5…you pay for the time they are eating lunch so that factors in. The price difference was over 500 more. Also, my 60” TV was crushed in the moving truck and it was in a TV box with all the proper packaging so that was super inconvenient. My wife and I just moved from Ashburn to Savannah Ga. This was a 600 mile move. Alex and his crew loaded up two trucks with care and were extremely careful to wrap all of the furniture, bannisters in the house and placed protective coverings on the floor. We had a local move and two other companies said they could not move us 7.1 miles in one day. My Guys said they could and they did. The crew of seven were on-time and ready to work. We have a couple fragile antiques and they handled them with care and respect. They knew what they were doing, took care to cover, wrap, ad carefully treat even the smallest piece of furniture with care. I have a special bed but when I got to my new home the guys put it together for me and that was such a relief for me. Definitely the whole moving experience couldn't have been easier. When I moved 1.5 years ago, I used My Guys Moving. When I needed to move again, they were one of the first companies I contacted. One of their sales reps, Terry, had been recommended to me by my realtor. He came out for the walk through and was very polite and did a quick but thorough walk-through. Their hourly rate was the same as I paid 1.5 years ago, but I had gotten a lower quote from another company (Starting with a P and based out of Fairfax, look for my review of them!), so even though I had liked My Guys, I decided to go with the cheaper company, because hey, why not save where I can. BAD IDEA. Only 3 days - THREE DAYS - before my scheduled AND CONFIRMED move, they told me they couldn't move me on Saturday, they were already fully booked, and that they needed to come out on Sunday. Huh?! I had been scheduled for over a week! And I couldn't move on Sunday. I had made plans for that day based on the ALREADY CONFIRMED move for Saturday. Not to mention, if they can't keep their first appointment, how can I be sure that they'd keep the second? No way. I cancelled my move with them and immediately called Terry with My Guys back. He. Was. Awesome. He reassured me that they could still do the move, and they would honor their same price. Whoa. Way cool. They totally could've gouged me. And, he'd even make sure I had the same crew as last time, since I liked them before. On Saturday morning, 4 guys came out exactly on time, led by crew chief Anibal. All the men introduced themselves, were polite, efficient, and gentle with both my home and belongings. I have a mixture of delicate Ikea and antique furniture, as well as big, sturdy, and HEAVY solid wood furniture but Anibal's crew handled all of it with the same attention to detail. They blanketed and plastic wrapped everything. They worked together as a team to move the heavier items and did everything so fast! If/When I move again, I'm not bothering with any other company. Moving is stressful enough on it's own, there's no need to bother with second rate companies who cause only additional stress. From now on, I'm calling My Guys only and requesting Anibal and his crew again.

“I very much appreciated Dan's assistance when we were in kind of a bind. We came to DC in a rental truck from Kansas. It first appeared that we would need to store the items for a few days before my daughter could move into her apartment. Although this was an unusual request, My Guys was willing to accommodate it. Then, when we unexpectedly got word that she could move in sooner, Dan arranged for us to get two guys to help with unloading the contents of the truck into the apartment. Dennis and Juan did a great job with this. I would only have two quibbles: Dan said he would email a receipt to me for the deposit charged to my credit card and I never received that. I did go check my credit card account online to make sure the charge had gone through, but it would have been nice to get the receipt to make sure we were on track for the next day. Also, the guys were going to call when they were on their way to the apartment and I didn't get the call until they were already there. This wasn't a big problem, but if they had called ahead I could have directed them on where to come and we could have connected sooner. All in all, however, I was very pleased with everything. Jose, Luis, and Jose from My Guys helped my husband and I move from Northern Virginia to D.C. It was our first time using movers, and moving can be very stressful. Jose, Luis, and Jose were hardworking and efficient, rapidly and carefully loading our belongings into their truck. They followed our car to the new house, driving carefully and safely the whole way. Upon arrival, they made sure that the boxes and furniture were put in the rooms where we wanted them, and they even moved two bookcases from one floor to another when we realized that they wouldn't fit in the space that we had originally intended to put them. I was also impressed by Tony, one of the dispatchers at My Guys. I had forgotten to print out a copy of a coupon and give it to Jose onsite, so Jose was not able to give me the discount that I was hoping for. He told me to follow up with Tony. When I called Tony on Monday, he said that he had already applied the discount before billing us. It was a great experience all around. I would definitely recommend My Guys to others in the future.

I recently moved from VA to WV using "My Guys Moving and Storage," and I have to commend them and one of their employees for the excellent service provided and received. I've moved across the DMV twice before, and I used different companies each time, thus, making "My Guys" my 3rd selection for my 3rd move. I chose not to use the other two companies due to (1) the exorbitant cost, and (2) the lack of care and concern for one's property from the other. Since I was moving to another state and not just across the region, I wanted to avoid any late hiccups, cost overruns, or convenient coincidences. I found "My Guys" after going through some reviews, and I have to iterate that I am beyond pleased with the service they provided for my interstate move. From the beginning, my moving coordinator Anthony made sure I had a reasonable estimate that fit my budget by the end of the first phone call, available dates that were fluid if need be for my constantly changing schedule, and a good inventory listing for the supplies the packers would need to package my items. The packers/movers arrived on-time; were professional, courteous, and kind; attended to my goods with care and diligence; and ensured that this level of expectation was resolute upon delivery. The final cost ended up being below my estimate, which is always lovely, and they didn't utilize an exorbitantly large amount of supplies to nickel and dime me as some companies may have. In retrospect, I wish I had used them for my first two moves, considering the first two were evenly disastrous from a price point and customer service perspective. In the end, if I ever decide to return to the area, I'll be reaching out to Anthony again as my go-to point of contact. Anthony conducted not only his duties competently to ensure the products and services provided were exceptional, but that his presentation and continuing customer engagement throughout the process was flawless from start to end and not overbearing. He fulfilled a massive task with such supremacy that it will be hard to match for any future movers I come into contact with due to Anthony's ability to have made my move seamless, headache-free, and satisfying.

My Guys moved my mother's furniture and belongings from a one bedroom apartment to a smaller one bedroom apartment across town. Movers also made stops at another location to pick up additional items and stopped at storage unit to unload some of the items before unloading my mother's furniture and belongings at new apartment. Overall excellent experience. Both packers and moving crew (Anibal, Julio, Pedro, Wilton, Herbert, Joey) were very helpful and calming. Some "wish I had known" items - both sales and scheduling advised that we could leave clothes in dressers. However both packers and movers determined the dressers were too heavy and removed clothing into boxes. I would have preferred to do this myself had I known. Color coding boxes as to which floors they needed to go onto was extremely helpful. I should have also done for the furniture.

However, the local Leesburg crew that moved our contents from the storage unit in Leesburg to Broadlands was not careful and damaged several pieces. It was one of our best moves ever!! From Terry Williams who provided our initial quote, to his coordinator Renee, to Michelle Merin the interstate coordinator they were always friendly, helpful and very knowledgeable. They were all very professional and went out of their way to answer my questions and provide me with the information I needed in a very friendly and timely manner. But the superstar of the show was Rodrigo Molina the supervisor/coordinator of our move-out and move-in process. From the time he walked into our door in Boston to the time he walked out of our home in Virginia he and his crew treated our furniture like it was their own and nothing was too much trouble. I even made a huge mistake and mixed up 2 bedrooms during the move-in. The smaller one was to be used as the unpacking room and the larger one was the one the bed was supposed to be set up in. When I came upstairs and realized my mistake Rodrigo did not even hesitate to say it would be no trouble to move things around in the 2 rooms. It would have been very easy at the end of a long day to let his frustration show. If he or any of his crew were frustrated with my mistake I never noticed. Also my husband could not be there at the move-out so when it came time to the move-in we had some miscommunications about where things should be and when any of the crew were asked to remove the boxes it was always “ of course, no trouble.” Like everyone, we have some pieces of furniture that are special to us...2 sideboards (that belonged to my husband’s family and were shipped to us from Ireland), a stacking glass bookcase, an antique sewing machine, a jam cupboard.... and we were delighted when everything arrived safely and without a scratch as promised. We will definitely be recommending My Guys to our circle of friends and acquaintances and using them again when we leave Virginia.

Solisi was the supervisor; he was pleasant, friendly and very informative. My furniture was well wrapped, carefully moved and strategically placed into a storage unit in Maryland. They even put things in the front of the unit that they thought I’d want easy access to (my bike, artwork, etc.)—and I didn’t even ask them to. I am writing a review on "My Guys Moving & Storage". I had to move my daughter to NC in a short amount of time. I called "My Guys", they gave me an estimate lower than any other moving company. I had two pick ups, one at a storage lot and home. The movers were on time and worked quickly. They reviewed all the paperwork with me and explain that the cost was an estimate until they weigh the truck. The truck was weighed and the cost was even lower! The following day, the house goods were delivered at the appointment time. The workers had to carry the house hold goods up to the 3rd floor, 18 steps per floor. I felt sorry for them. We kept asking them to slow down but they continued their pace. All the boxes and furniture was delivered with no damage. If you need items packed up and moved or just moved "My Guys Moving and Storage" is the company to use.

Our move day started off very well when our crew of 4 fellows, lead by Santos, showed up early. Despite it being a long distant move to our new home, two hours away, they were pleasant and smiling all day. Movers arrived early on the day of the move and started prepping my apartment since the loading dock wouldn't open for another 30 minutes to them. This is at least the fourth time I've used My Guys over the last 15 years...and the service has always been excellent, the pricing always reasonable, and the process simple. If I'm moving it will always be with My Guys! I really cannot imagine a better more cost-effective moving service existing. Btw, if you are getting quotes be careful about relying too much on the per-hour price. This particular move took 6 hours because the move-out location had a long walk-way. With a less professional - meaning less well equipped and trained - company that could easily have been 8-9 hours, meaning a company with a 20% lower hourly rate would have been the same price but spent two more hours of my time. I've had friends get the "lowest price" moving company only to regret it when the hours rack up, the truck isn't big enough, they don't have shrink wrap and moving blankets for all the furniture, they don't have enough dollys, etc. Stick with My Guys and you'll always be satisfied!

tdlr; My movers were great! They were jovial, punctual, and paid keen attention to details. I definitely recommend them! My movers arrived right on the dot for an 8am start and moved quickly to pack up my girlfriend's place (in Arlington) before driving over to my place in Herndon. They packed up my things (furniture and big items, no boxes) and proceeded to Reston to unload. Both my girlfriend and I only had to point out what to load and where it went once which we really appreciated as it showed that our movers were paying attention to details. There were a lot of stairs at both my old place in Herndon (3 story townhouse) and the new place in Reston (2 flights to the main floor, 1 more to get to the bedrooms) and it was quite hot (got up into the 90s) and humid that day. The movers were polite and jovial the whole time and worked at a solid pace. I was impressed that they wore their masks a vast majority of the time and only took them off to drink water, eat a snack, or catch their breath[1] (all of these being outside a 6ft distance from us). Despite the intense heat and stairs, they still finished within the estimated time. [1] I ran some boxes up the stairs at the new place with a mask on that day and those stairs and heat were no joke. I'm in good shape and I still needed to stop at the top of the stairs to catch my breath after each run. Wearing a mask definitely made it tougher and I was drenched in sweat after only a few runs. Big kudos to the movers for their pace, being diligent with wearing masks, and maintaining a good attitude the whole time.

We used MGM for a single office move (locally). They were very professional to deal with UNTIL the day of the move. They were supposed to arrive between 8:00-9:00 am. I called their office and emailed their VP of commercial sales around 9:40 a.m. to get an ETA. No one answered the phone or responded to my email. The receptionist finally returned my call around 10:30 , assuming that their crew was already at our location.(she was very apologetic, which I appreciated) Then another person called and said that there was a mix up and that they'd be arriving in about 45 minutes. After multiple back and forth, I started the packing myself. Finally, they showed up after 1:00pm and finished the packing. It's unfortunate how this move all unfolded. *UPDATE- Spoke with VP of Commercial Sales and was refunded $ for the inconvenience.

What is even more spectacular is how he and the company serve, volunteer and give to the community. I scheduled this move with Gustavo and he assured me that his workers knew how to remove the window in order for my Sofa to be removed. I called Gustavo to inform him of this situation and he showed no concern now I'm forced to pay this bill to my previous landlord as though I had broken it myself. I will be filling a claim not sure how that's going to turn out. While I'm on a fixed income this has become a major financial burden. Good workers until something breaks.

In fact, they packed so fast that by the time I looked for items that were not going, it was already packed. The start load was from 9:30am to 1:30pm a three bedroom and living room apartment. It was four flights of stairs with four movers and a heck of a lot of work. There was a lunch break and travel miles to destination was 13 miles with start time to unload EST 2:15pm with finish at 4:15pm. They prep both places because it was raining and very wet all day. Kudos to these people and I would definitely recommend and refer them to others to use again. By the way, they were a referral for me to use. The irony is that the sellers of this house that I just purchased recommended them to me at our home closing; therefore, they were already familiar with this house. Now, that is awesome

I was living on the fourth floor of an apartment complex with no elevator and there was no way I could carry everything to the bottom floor. They moved me and my boyfriend from a one bedroom apartment in Ashburn to a one bedroom apartment in Leesburg in 3 hours! Very Very fast.. I couldn't have done it with out them. I give these guys 10/10! I will use them in the future that is for sure
