Fast, friendly, efficient, professional, and affordable! I have nothing but great things to say about Atlanta Home Movers. I hired them for our local move from a three bedroom house to a four bedroom house in the city, and they were wonderful to work with. All four movers were very kind, quick, and handled all our big furniture and boxes with care. It went a lot easier and faster than I thought it would! They definitely take the stress out of moving. Please don’t hesitate to hire them for your moving needs!

Among the best movers I have seen during my 30 years and 13 moves in the military. Atlanta Home Movers employees were courteous and professional from the time I called to job completion. I hired them to help move large items... they did a wonderful job under the quoted required time (based on items' description and location). The employees worked diligently and with care. I was an early client of Atlanta Home Movers 8 years ago, so when it came time to move again, I didn't even consider any other moving company. These guys work hard - they barely stopped for a drink. But they're also super efficient. Five team members packed our home in about 5 hours one day, then six moved our belongings the next day in about 6 hours. And we had 3 truckloads! It's not inexpensive to move, but for the exceptional service and labor these guys provided, I feel it was an incredible value. Everyone was very friendly and seemed to love what they do. I won't get every name correct here, but a big thanks and shout out to Antonio, Logan, Kevin, Chris, along with the moving day crew, and to Eric, who accurately estimated everything in advance so that the move went smoothly. Go with this team...you will not be disappointed.

My family has moved a few times over the last few years and have had a range of experiences with movers. Atlanta Home Movers was hands down the beta experienced we’ve had. Eric was super responsive to any and all questions via phone or email. He walked us through the process and gave us a very reasonable quote. On moving day Chris and his team showed up exactly on time and got straight to work. We had done the packing and they prepped and loaded everything with extreme care and efficiency. They were very professional and made this move so much less stressful on us, especially since we have three little kids. I very highly recommend using Atlanta Home Movers. If anyone needs reliable movers that are going above beyond, I highly recommend Atlanta Home Movers. I almost chose a cheaper option but had horrible experiences with movers in the past. Having worked in the moving industry, I know that it's a shady business and price shouldn't be a deciding factor. A friend had just used Atlanta Home Movers and spoke very highly of the crew. I'm so glad I booked with them. The crew was extremely professional and really went above and beyond! My sofa didn't fit in the elevator in my old building and they pushed it down 5 floors in the parking garage to load it. At Destination, the stairs and walkway were too narrow, even for my small sofa. They actually lifted it up to the second floor and tried for a long time to get it in my door but there was just no way. I asked them to take it away for me and they reached out to the owner and found a solution for me. The crew worked tirelessly and efficiently and stayed late without complaining. Every time they saw a problem they immediately went into problem solving mode and solved it or worked around it. From start to finish, I'm blown away with the level of service I received. It's so rare to find a great moving crew that shows up on time, is professional, efficient, and works tirelessly to accommodate the customer. Thank you!

Josh and his team were fast, efficient, and very careful with all our furniture and other items. The whole move was completed in 4 hours. The actual price was $300 less than the quote. Atlanta Home Moves charged me much less than what other moving companies were quoting. Great service at a great price!

The booking process was super easy and straight forward and I felt confident that I was getting all the best information. On moving day, our team of movers (Jermaine, Demetrius, & Lavardo) were excellent - super communicative, very professional, and clearly experts in their field. Everything was wrapped and protected and moved with care to the highest degree. When I commented that they were taking better care of our furniture than we do, they were quick to admit that they hold themselves to a high standard so that we feel great about their work. The reservation process was easy and straightforward. The crew arrived later than I expected, which caused some initial worry, but they apologized and got right to work. More than 5 stars if possible. I don’t even know where to start. From arrival to finish these guys were impeccably efficient and gracious with my belongings. They cared about my stuff like it was theirs. I’ve move three times so I was a little weary of this move. This was, by far, was the best moved ever. 2.5 stars. I used Atlanta Home Movers in July 2020 based on their positive reviews on Yelp and Google. The movers arrived on time and began working. They were polite and professional, and worked efficiently. The total for my move was just over $1,100 and I left a generous tip to the three movers. My total ended up being approx. $1,200. These were the issues that I faced from this company: -Immediately after the team left, I noticed a very deep scratch in the hardwood floors of my brand-new home. Additionally, there were surface scratches that had been made. None of the movers notified me of the scratches. You should know that this company does not put down any floor protection at all. The company resolved this issue immediately – they sent out a professional company to repair the floors, which were completely repaired within just a few days. -The team did not ask how I wanted my furniture set up. They left one bedroom in complete disarray (see attached picture). I immediately reached out to the company and informed them that I would need help with moving the heavy furniture in that room. One week later, the furniture still remains how they left it. After $1,200 I am disappointed that the furniture was left this way and remains this way after an entire week. -The team left my couch wrapped in plastic wrap. Not a huge issue, as I was able to remove this myself and set up the couch, but still, after $1,200 spent with a company with so many five-star reviews this should not have happened. -I understand that in a tight staircase scratches will be made on the walls. Again, the movers did not notify me that there were scratches made on the walls. Additionally, one nick was made in the wall that I was not notified about. I’ve had several items delivered in the past week, and some who left scratches notified me of the scratches and/or removed them before they left. As previously stated, I contacted the moving company immediately after I noticed the issues. They were quick to respond, but only addressed some of the issues. My requests were: repair the floor (done), arrange the furniture (not done one week later), and provide a refund for a portion of what I paid for the time I’ve had to spend trying to resolve the issues (was told this was not available). I guess they think their time is more valuable than their customers time. I take responsibility for not checking everything before I paid and provided a tip, but I guess I trusted all of the reviews posted for this company. Maybe it was just a bad day, but I definitely did not have the positive experience described by so many others.

Atlanta Home Movers is a first class business. I recently moved from Atlanta to Chapel Hill, North Carolina. They gave me a very well outlined moving quote and stuck to that quote after my move. They made special arrangements in order for me to move one day earlier than I had initially requested. I was blessed to have the team of Neil and Dell helping me with my move. They were such hard workers, kind, courteous and caring. They went above and beyond helping me, knowing that I had recently had surgery. This was by far the EASIEST move I have ever experienced. We had a three level 2800 Sq ft home with basement and garage that needed to be packed and moved. Atlanta Home did a fantastic job on both ends. All the folks they sent were the friendliest and hardest workers and the people doing the packing were truly pleasant and took such great care with our belongings the packing was done perfectly over a two day period. The movers worked for a solid 8 hours and got it loaded, moved, and unloaded. They were smiling and friendly the entire time though I know they had to be exhausted by the end of the day. I could not be more pleased with this move. We are still unpacking but so far only a couple of items had very minor damage, which considering the amount of items moved is amazing. Their rates were very competitive too. I highly recommend them for your next move.

I've moved quite a few times and have had some bad experiences with movers being slow and sloppy. Atlanta Home Movers was the total opposite of that. Reid, Lovato, and Demetrius moved fast the whole time but also managed to carefully wrap our large and fragile items. Nothing broke in the process and I never felt the need to supervise or try to keep things moving along. They were super friendly and professional. The office support was great as well. You definitely get your money's worth from Atlanta Home Movers and I've already recommended to a friend.

Literally the best movers we have ever had!! We had a very large move, and I have more clothes than humanly possible. They sent 4 people to pack us on Friday and 6 guys with 3 trucks to move us on Saturday. We moved into a 3 story house up a steep hill, and the guys were fabulous - positive attitudes all day long even though I’m sure they were ready to kill us! Antonio and the nicest team of guys who were super professional and hustled all day long. Our new house had floor to ceiling glass around both staircases, and they were super careful with everything as well! Couldn’t be happier with the service we received and would definitely recommend them to anyone!!

Reed, DJ, Dre, and Grant are a great team that provided exceptional service. They were on time and made quick work of the items we needed to be moved. We had some extremely heavy items and they moved them with ease and without any damage. I would highly recommend AHM and this team. We have needed to use a lot of movers of the past 4 or 5 years and AHM is without a doubt the best from start to finish. Eric was not only great during the initial set up, but was also available before, during and after the move. Anybody who has used professional movers knows that after the contract is signed, you usually never speak to the same person again. This is the first rental experience we have ever had where the final price was less than the quoted price. This is due to the team working efficiently on both ends of the move.

AHM was recommended to me because the first company I called did not service the area I was moving to. And I have nothing but great things to say. The crew called in advance, arrived on time, and worked so effortlessly and efficiently to move us out of our 3rd story apartment with no elevator in 90 degree weather. I had to call several times with changes to my reservation, including rescheduling and adding stops, and even that was easy. I expected the move to take so much longer than it actually did. Almost nothing broke, no damage to my new home. The actual final cost was much less than my estimate. Reid, Lavardo, and one other gentlemen who’s name escapes me (started with a D) were very friendly, kind, and helpful. They went above and beyond in helping me with things that were not part of their job. I was dreading moving because everyone knows how stressful it can be, but this team made it so easy. Will definitely use them if I move again!

Very professional group. Josh was our team lead as we moved our furniture and household goods to storage. He was so professional and knowledgeable that we requested him for the move from storage to our new home. I highly recommend this company. They moved a very large glass front teak cabinet and were very careful with it. There were no damaged or broken item on either of our moves, including antique crystal. I can't say enough good things about Atlanta Home Movers. I had hired a different company initially, but 3 days before my move, they called and cancelled. Within 20 minutes, I had scheduled a time on that same chosen moving date with Atlanta Home Movers. Honestly it worked out for the best and I should have just hired them in the first place. My team called right before the scheduled window to give me a more precise estimate, they came right in and quickly assessed the furniture to move and got to work. The whole process was done in just under 2 hours, with great care taken with all of my furniture both in loading and unloading. The price was better than expected and they finished well under the time estimate. I can't recommend them enough and will definitely use them any time I have to move in the future.

My wife and I used Atlanta Home Movers for our move today. We were originally scheduled for a 2-man crew but the job after ours called for 3 men, so we were able to leverage 3 workers on the job. We moved from a condo to a house, and they arrived at 10:15, loaded up 50 boxes, mattress, entertainment center, sofa, 2 chairs, ottoman, 2 bikes, lots of gardening equipment...they moved us 8.9 miles away to a house and had everything unloaded and drove away by 12:30. The 3 guys on the job were super speedy and took care to wrap up everything that could be damaged. I spoke with Chris Latour on the phone several times before the move, and he was reassuring that everything would go as planned, and it did. I would absolutely recommend Atlanta Home Movers to anyone if time and expense are a concern. I'm glad we hired them!

Let's face it - moving is stressful and odds are, friends and family aren't very likely to help you move. Which is why I believe Atlanta Home Movers is essential to making moving easier. I've hired Atlanta Home Movers three times for three moves. Each time was absolutely great. Setting up the move online or via phone is super easy. The movers are quick, efficient, kind, and thorough (shoutout to Antonio, Victor, and Manny!). They come prepared with all the necessary materials to move big/fragile items. We used Atlanta Home movers twice in the last month. And let me preface this by saying we have lots of experience with movers having done so more than 10 times in various cities. The first was moving our condo furniture from Buckhead to Druid Hills and the second from a storage facility. Both moves were on time, professional and fast. Everything was handled with care and performed as promised, including wrapping furniture, dismantling our bed frames and putting everthing back together. The quoted price, which is by the hour, was very accurate and in fact, substantially less than several other local quotes we received. Unlike some other local movers, they don't start charging until they actually begin the work, and there is no transportation charge to your home. I highly recommend Atlanta Home Movers (and Chris was always responsive to scheduling and answering questions) for any local move, it was by far the best experience we have had with movers.

I changed my move date, how many boxes, added extra items at the last minute and they adapted. Plus, I even added an extra stop and the movers had no problem adjusting. ABSOLUTELY STELLAR MOVING COMPANY! Over the last 2 years, we have used Atlanta Home Movers for 4 separate moves. When we sold our Roswell home in October 2018, Atlanta Home Movers moved everything to our new home in the same area of town. Move #2 - a small portion of furniture from our previous home to help with staging was then moved into our new home. Move #3 - Then in May of this year, in order to refinish all the hardwoods on the main level and most of upstairs, they moved 90% of our home’s contents into the garage, the basement, and into an extra room upstairs. Move #4 - Then this past week it was time to move everything back into the house and get each piece positioned into place. Based on the size of each move, the numbers of each crew varied from 6 for the first massive move, 4 in the second move, and then 2 in this most recent move. For each move, each man worked quickly, carefully, professionally, courteously, and treated our contents with total respect. The system was the same each time, with a call about 30 minutes before arrival, notation with us of the time the work started and when it was completed. Then as if all this wasn’t enough, the rate is absolutely reasonable and extremely competitive. My husband and I cannot recommend this company enough. We have heard so many terrible stories about other people’s moving experiences, so we feel extremely fortunate that we had such wonderful experiences - not once, but three times with this company. Atlanta. Home Movers is THE BEST, and we are more than happy to share this recommendation.

After a bad experience with my previous movers (took 7 hours to move my 1 br/1ba worth of stuff), I asked for recommendations for movers and really paid attention to reviews before I started calling moving services. We asked these guys to move stuff from my 3rd floor apartment (with loft) to a new unit. We also asked them to move my girlfriend's stuff from the unit next door. Chris provided our estimate/quote, which was 3-4 hours. Josh and his team arrived with high energy and maintained that energy throughout the move. They wrapped my furniture and moved it quickly, efficiently, and with care. They finished in just under 3 hours. Everyone I worked with was motivated, personable, and professional. I did contact them, multiple times, about missing couch screws that attach the back cushion/frame to the base, but no follow-through on that. That's not worth deducting a star, though . Still 5 solid stars for these guys. They were incredible and I would love to hire them again.

Could've Been A Horrible Experience.... We hired this company (AHM) for a labor only job - moving items from an attic to the garage in the same house. While the 3 guys who showed-up were seemingly kind and efficient, we discovered two items missing when we were able to go through all the items a couple of days later. Needless to say, we felt violated. We contacted AHM and worked with Chris (the operations manager) to figure out how they would handle the situation before we decided to express our extreme disappointment via social media and file a police report (yes, we had an eyewitness seeing one of the employees placing one of the items on their truck). Chris and the owner, John, handled this situation with professionalism, grace, and integrity. Unfortunately, they had to lose a couple of employees in the process but their commitment to trust is incredibly admirable. Chris and John understand that trust is a key element in this industry and for their company's success. In a time when it's hard to be encouraged because it seems like so much is wrong with the world (there's no customer service or integrity anymore), our experience with AHM gave us new hope. Not only did they "do the right thing" internally and refund us, they were even able to find and return one of the two items. Thank you AHM!

My wife and I were thrilled with ATL Home Movers. Admin side was quick with the quote, straight forward via phone, and didn’t skip a beat with the needs assessment and scheduling. We have a ton of stuff so we needed two trucks (one large, one less large) and four guys. Quote was for 5.5 hours and we went a little over because of construction traffic and my insistence that the movers take a few breaks while letting us feed them breakfast and lunch. The movers called ahead to confirm and were right on time. They carried themselves in a polite and respectful manner throughout the process. They seemed ready to let me play boss for the day and micro-manage them if I wanted to, but I chose to give them space instead and they proved that to be the correct choice. They treated my things with more care than I would have if I were hauling it. Moving blankets tightly plastic wrapped on all the furniture. Doors disassembled and reassembled to make things fit through without scraping. When I got to my new place I notice they had partially disassembled some of the heavier and/of bulkier pieces and felt panic over having to figure out where the nuts and bolts might have run off to. Nope! They consistently left a neat, wrapped package of hardware bits in the plastic wrapping right where you couldn’t miss it. On top of everything I mention above, these guys were also FAST. They kept a non-stop pace consistently in the sweet spot well above “paid by the hour and it shows” and comfortably below “whoa, Geddy Lee! Why the RUSH?” In the end, everything got to its destination without a single item damaged or lost, my bill was right on target with the expectations set by the quote and admins, and my overall experience can honestly be described as pretty much perfect. Each mover got a $50 tip which is less than they deserved but more than double the average according to the admin. As far as pandemic precautions go, they were all willing to wear masks but I did not require them to opting instead to stay out of their hair while still being present enough if they had questions. That wasn’t an issue as they proved they didn’t need to be micro-managed at all.

Overall experience with the movers was great again, with the team of three working diligently to get us moved out of our apartment and back in to another home. I am taking one star off for this particular move, as while the bulk of the furniture was well packed into the truck for the move, there were some miscellaneous items that would not be boxed normally, and were not well secured in the truck (tall lamps, tall speakers, etc..which could have been wrapped and secured in some manner). Upon arrival to the new home, they had fallen over in the truck over the 2 mile trip. Nothing of tremendous value, but would like to point out for possible training purposes going forward. Would I use again...ABSOLUTELY!!!

Things that could be improved: communicate that the movers don’t wear masks (understandable), that they don’t put down floor protection (could be an assumption), and get all forms signed ahead of time rather than using a phone at the time of the move (I really didn’t know the details of what I signed, nor did I know about insurance options). All that said, they did the important stuff right and quickly did right by me when my TV was damaged during the move.

These guys are awesome! Second time they have helped me move and both times they were great. They disassemble and reassemble furniture. They move everything very quickly and efficiently. They’ve also been very friendly both times and booking with Chris both times was a breeze. Their prices are great as well. Highly recommend!

BEST DECISION YOU WILL EVER MAKE! I was skeptical on getting movers since i only had 500 sq ft of apartment stuff to move. I expected them to take at least 3-4 hours, when i tell you these guys do not mess around, they don't. They came in at 9:45am and were done loading everything within 25min and i am on the THIRD FLOOR w NO elevator. They even disassembled a bed for me in what i believed to be record speed LOL I had Sean and Quinton come to help me and they were professional, friendly, and fast! I cannot say more good things about this company. They even made it over to my new location faster than me haha SERIOUSLY AMAZING. I was planning to spend $300-$400 and ended up at around $260 and i tipped them well over 25% cause they deserved it and more! THANK YOU THANK YOU THANK YOU!

We had a very large very complicated move and the team did an amazing job. Moved 6000 sq ft of furnishings to a 4000 sq ft space with lots of stairs on both ends. What a group of hard workers! We had a few minor damages which were promptly addressed. I give the team 5 stars

We had them pack a 45' container for our transpacific move and they took great care getting it packed tightly. They answered questions and the communication was clear and timely. The crew that arrived on time (with a courtesy call to let me know their ETA) could not have been more courteous and professional. They set to work quickly and professionally. they took care wrapping furniture for the move. After loading the trucks, we arrived at my residence and they were respectful of the house and took care not to damage any walls or flooring.
