This store had lots of moving supplies as well as a large selection of vehicles for rent. The cargo van I rented was clean and low mileage. The staff was very friendly and helpful.

Ty was amazing and so helpful. Uhaul had moved my pick up location 3 times and I was getting frustrated, but Ty made it right. Superful friendly and answered all my questions. I almost gave up on uhaul but this location and this staff made all the headaches go away. Ty went above and beyond to make it right!! Thank you

We had a terrible experience with the U-Haul U-boxes but the problems with the U-boxes were solely the fault of U-Haul Corporate. The manager of this location, Ty, went WAY above and beyond to make things right for us, even though the issues were not his fault. KJ, another employee, was also very helpful throughout the lengthy process to get our boxes in the correct location to be unloaded. Under no circumstances would I ever use U-boxes again. They are very expensive but we figured the “convenience” was worth the extra cost. We were wrong because they were extraordinarily inconvenient due to the delivery problems (again, U-Haul corporate was at fault). Not only did Ty go above and beyond to make us happy, he even came in on his day off and helped us move our belongings with his own two hands… that’s a level of customer service that is exceedingly rare. Thank you, Ty. You are our hero. I would absolutely do business with Ty and KJ again. They truly care about their customers and kept their word to us after a very unfortunate experience with U-Haul corporate.

This is the 3rd time uhaul has told my company to pick up a ubox at 3161 sweeten creek road in asheville, NC and I have arrived and been sent 3 miles away to the warehouse. If the uboxes are to be picked up at the warehouse on Gerber road then they should TELL.THE CUSTOMER the correct place to go.

This place is so much less ghetto than the East Asheville place. They manage their lines better, seem to be a lot friendlier, and smile at you rather than staring at you like you're trying to steal something from their lot

Friendly and effortless to go in and p/u some boxes for an upcoming move. I really like the buy back program. How many of us know how many boxes we need when packing up? Nice to buy extras so we don't make extra trips.

We had all appointment for 1pm. Got a call about 12pm saying they are running behind and it will be 1:15pm before they get to our truck. Okay no problem. We get there about 1:10pm and we wait & we wait & we wait. . .So about 2pm or so ww get told they don't have the part its at the other store & they have to go it. That is gonna be another half hour befoee they get to start on our truck. 😆 Finally the part gets there and they take our truck in. We finally get out of there at 4:30pm. I do have to say thank you bcuz the manager did give us a small discount for having to wait that long! Thank you!!!

This UHaul location saved our vacation! Our rental car reservation was cancelled last minute by the company, so we were unexpectedly left with no transportation. We decided to go to UHaul, as it was the only remaining place we could think of. The staff was incredibly helpful and was able to get us a vehicle that same day. Without them, we would have been stranded in our hotel or counting on the unreliable Uber’s and Lyfts in the area. Renting a Uhaul 10ft truck for our vacation will certainly be a story we tell for ages. Thank you UHaul!

Rayna did an excellent job of swapping out a smaller trailer for a larger one, and setting me up with some accessories I needed. They have a better deal on cargo straps than Harbor Freight. And their locks are reasonably priced also. Very happy.

Do yourself a favor and download the U-Haul app for pick up and return. They only had one person working on a Saturday. The supervisor was too busy to help and was interrupting the one employee that was trying to help.

Rana is the best. U cannot go wrong by going here ;-)

Rana Strivelli did an EXCELLENT job when we rented out UBox. Due to COVID, we rented it for 9-months and it worked perfectly for us reorganizing our home as extra space. My wife and I wanted Corporate and Owners to know what a great job they have done from our UBox to other rentals. Please recognize Rana and her crew.
