Reece was very responsive and kept in contact with me until the job was complete. The helpers who came out were extremely professional and hard workers! The moving truck was not able to make it up my steep hill and the two helpers actually walked my heavy couch up a long steep driveway without any complaint. Reece and his team were wonderful and made a big move a good one! The guys were friendly, polite, respectful, patient and very hard workers!! The packing they did for us was great! They moved LOTS of boxes and furniture onto the trucks and unpacked everything when we arrived at our new home. A friend recommended I call Reece with Illuminated Moving and Packing and I can’t say enough good things about our move and experience with them! We moved 1 1/2 hours away from NC to SC and they were the best and they are know how to pack! The reason I say that -is because it took 2 of the same size truck for our last movers with less stuff and only 1 of the same size truck with Illuminated Moving and Packing ! I was blown away! They were consummate professionals and a pure pleasure to work with. They alleviated a lot of stress that comes with moving. The were polite, respectful, easy to work with and they showed up on time and got the job done and was careful with all our belongings and didn’t break or destroy anything! If there were 100 stars I will give it all to them without reservation! You will not go wrong with Illuminated Moving and Packing!

Reece and his crew did a great job with my move. I had a large house full of furniture half of which was in a basement that wasn’t easy to get items out of. The new house has a huge outside staircase where a good amount of my belongings had to be carried up including a huge washer/dryer. He and his crew worked tirelessly. They were extremely careful and handled everything with utmost care. There was nothing broken and no mishaps. I was very impressed with their hard work and diligence. This team loaded a U-Haul for us on two separate days. Both days they were very professional. They did an outstanding job of packing the U-Haul. Making sure we could get as much as we could in one U-Haul. Their packing skills were fantastic. They were very good at their jobs we would definitely hire them again. I really appreciated their help. They stayed a little late on the backside to help out and make sure we got everything on the U-Haul. Just a great team to work with.

Reece and his team were fantastic in helping us with a very difficult move. We have a very steep driveway and we’re moving some heavy woodworking equipment and furniture which required some creative problem solving which included but they really went above and beyond to help us out. They were quick and very careful with our belongings and made sure to strap our more fragile items so they wouldn’t be damaged while going up the steep driveway. Very responsive and accommodating as we worked to adjust the time and date of the move due to closing issues. Would absolutely use them again!

This company is top-notch! Cade and John unloaded a 26' UHaul truck for us and did an amazing job. Not only did they handle our belongings with care, they were both great at strategizing getting some larger items around tricky twists and turns inside the house. Not a single scratch, smudge or dent on any of our walls, doors or trim. Will definitely be calling them again for any moving needs we may have in the future!

These two guys were amazingly awesome!! They came and moved our furniture from the house to the truck and then from the truck to the storage facility. They were friendly, fast and efficient. They were also concerned about our furniture and were persistent about using furniture pads, blankets, you name it. They were very kind and patient with us after we arrived late to the house. I highly recommend this moving crew. They were the most affordable and were worth every penny and then some!

Bradford, Thomas, Will and Andrew were fantastic. They moved my 10x20 unit out of one storage unit almost 2 hrs away into a local unit. They were timely and well organized. All my furniture and heavy items were wrapped and covered in moving blankets, and all my fragile items were well cared for. I will be using them again. I highly recommend this moving company. They arrived as scheduled and walked the house developing a loading plan. They were attentive to fragile furnishings and worked tirelessly - yet not in a rush or unsafe. These two gentlemen are clearly experts in their field. In the middle of our move the elevators stopped working and they didn’t even question climbing up 5 flights of stairs to get all of our heavy furniture up for us! I would recommend them to anyone! Given last-minute changes in our cross-country move, Reece was quick to respond and provide assurance his team would be ready to help us unload the day after we arrived. Will and Cat showed up early and dove right in, unloading an entire 26ft truck in just 3 hours - even with two flights of stairs! They were efficient while being careful with our furniture, and did a great job of unloading in the house based on our labeling which made unpacking easy for us. Amazing attitudes, hard workers, and incredibly well priced! Trust Illuminated for your move and you won’t be disappointed! 11 out of 10, would definitely recommend.

The fellows who helped us -- Will and Ace -- were not only professional, they seemed to really care about our possessions. Illuminated was a little delayed, but when Reece (the owner) saw that it was going to cause us a hardship if they couldn't make it he came himself. Tricky corners on stairs with heavy items were approached carefully with zero damage to walls or furnishings, everything reassembled Accurately. If you need hard-working, dependable movers, Illuminated Moving & Packing is a great choice! Reece and Will loaded packed boxes (and a few unpacked items) and drove the truck across the state to then unload all of the boxes - and nothing was broken! I recently used Illuminated Moving to help unload a 15-ft U-Haul moving from SC to NC. Though I had family scheduled to help with my move, the contents of the U-Haul had to be moved to the third floor, quite a task. So to be on a safe side I scheduled more help. I found Illuminated Moving's listing on the U-Haul website and read a lot of fantastic reviews. This made me feel more comfortable, since lining up help in a different state doesn't always work out well! I was worried that no one would show up. My worries were for nothing. The two young men that unloaded the U-Haul were right on time and they hustled! They unloaded the U-Haul quickly and efficiently and worked well with my family members who helped them. They were personable and polite. I couldn't have been happier with the result and I will definitely use Illuminated Moving again.

Aldon and Mike did a great job. Carried a ~500 pound piano up the stairs for me. We would have taken that piano to good will if it weren’t for them. Very polite, and got a whole two bedroom apartment unloaded in about an hour and a half, highly recommended. No marks on our walls, and no back pain for me!

He made sure delicate items were wrapped and/or tied to the wall so they wouldn't get damaged and then moved me right in to my new house! He was on time and very professional.
