Gasperson took great care of all my furniture while it was in their storage. It was kept secure and dry. And, I received an itemized list showing each piece of furniture. The delivery was made exactly on the day and time it was scheduled. They were very careful about unloading and placing each piece for me, removing all packaging materials, and even helping me put on the felt pads! They were always professional to communicate with and made the whole experience very positive. I highly recommend Gasperson Moving and Storage!

I recently relocated from Asheville. GM&S was recommend by our realtor. If you're planning on a move, I highly recommend GM&S. The three movers did an excellent job. Antique furniture and oil paintings were wrapped and carefully loaded into the truck. All the other furniture and most importantly my stereo equipment were treated with the same care as the antiques. The next day the movers provided the same care when the furniture was unloaded. The end result was no damage to any of the furniture. GM&S is an excellent company and without reservation I recommend this company to anyone needing the service they provide.

This was an excellent experience for us. Everyone moving our things was considerate, friendly, and personable. Our move was barely within the 500 mile limitation for using only their staff and trucks, so we also had the same staff unloading our belongings. Love using local!

Gasperson moved me from Chapel Hill to Washington, DC in August of 2016. They did a phenomenal job packing and moving my furniture. They were extremely easy to work with and gave me a very reasonable and fair price. I used Gasperson again in 2018 when I moved from DC to Durham. Again, they were helpful and did an excellent job moving my furniture. No furniture was damaged and they were really nice to work with. Will definitely use them again in future moves.

They were very willing to do what needed to be done in order to help us get the job done and did whatever they could to make our timeline work. They are certainly on the pricier side but we were happy to pay for the service!

We hired Gasperson Moving to help us move our office across town. I called several movers before we decided on Gasperson and the combination of professionalism and their long time presence in Asheville helped me make my decision. The staff was helpful prior to the move (bringing crates and other items to help us with the move, telling us how to pack to help the move go quicker, etc.) and during the move. They were also pleasant and quick. We would use Gasperson again.

Highly Recommend! They were able to accommodate my short notice request (24 hours) and the two men they sent were outstanding! Not only were they cheerful but helpful and problem solving - my belongings were in a POD, the load had shifted and they confidently figured out how to maneuver the contents to open the door and access the load with absolutely no damage! They even emptied my SUV for me (I had moved from WA state to NC)! Will definitely call them again when I move from my apartment to my next home :-)

The moving team of Brandon and Cody were top notch: polite, hard working, very careful, and Brandon navigated a tricky, very steep driveway with switchback turns like a pro. The moving experience and storage of my belongings was great, but in the last month, I was charged the monthly storage fee 4 times (should have been once a month) ...... or an excess of $1176.90. Fortunately, I happened to look at my bank statement and found it. I called and was promptly reimbursed. The movers were great, but keep a close eye on charges!!

Great customer service from beginning to end! Guys worked as a team to get things done quickly and efficiently. Definitely the most professional moving company I have ever worked with. I also love how they provide plastic bins and rolling carts to pack instead of having to worry about getting boxes and hurting your back.

3 1/2 stars. This company was recommended to me by a friend that used them 3x. She was happy with all three moves and how they handled her important furniture pieces. The crew was very nice and so was customer service. I appreciated them coming to view for an estimate. Which is what I ended up paying at the end. I didn't have much furniture but much of what I had was heavy and they had some steps to deal with. It was a long day and as it wore on (after about 8 hours) the guys were very tired and panting. I felt sorry for them cause that is hard work. And I was tired too. But you could tell they were ready to go and got much more slack in taking care of the furniture towards the end and in more of a hurry. One piece had a big gouge in it which couldn't be fixed and I didn't get extra insurance but it wasn't a real expensive piece so I didn't say anything. I ended up donating it. Couldn't be fixed. Also places on wall.... paint was rubbed off from bringing in pieces. Not sure I would use again. But I tipped the guys for all their hard work. They were very nice.

I just had the best and easiest move of my life! Billy, Kyle, and Cody treated all of our things and us with the utmost care and respect. They were efficient, yet patient with us and funny! Diane in the office has been a joy to work with. This company gets it all right, we're thrilled!

Hired Gasperson for we did not want just work force people moving our heavy furniture from the truck into our new home in Waynesville. I called about two weeks ahead of time and set up the dates, times and price. I fully explained our location and specifics of what we needed. I was concerned about hiring a company about 45 mins from our home and this was also discussed before a price was given. The price was a little high but we thought fair due to being professional movers. Everything was perfect, time, workers and job done, until time to leave and pay the bill. Surprise, all the sudden the two hours that we hired for services went to 3 and a half hours. Big price change. Now all the sudden they tell us that their time also includes driving time. Even though calls were made back to the office and the fault was in the person that we originally scheduled with, no price adjustment was made or even offered. Felt a little scammed.

Gasperson excelled in every respect. We had an unusual situation. Gasperson went to a college campus 100+ miles away, picked up several heavy items of instutional furniture and delivered them for temporary storage into our basement. The furniture included a HEAVY Baldwin organ and speakers and the Gasperson Crew handled it all with great skill and took every precaution to ensure that nothing was damaged.

I have moved from state to state several times and none of those moves can match my experience with Gasperson. I was treated so well begining at the top with Tom Hunnicutt . He was accomodating and supportive through the whole process. Adam and Marvin packed me up in Asheville and delivered my belongings to Summerville and were incredible and treated me with respect and again were supportive and accomodating. The even helped decide where several pieces of furniture should be placed in my new home. Thanks y'all!

Emrick's Allied in OKC is one of the very best. I had several very hard to move broadcast parts that had to be moved from OKC back to the factory. Keeping the equipment in great shape was my only option. They not only met but exceeded our expectations on accomplishing the prep and transport of the equipment. I can only imagine how good of a job they would do with a simple home content move, which is their primary business. I wouldn't think of using anyone else. They are the very best!
