This is by far the absolute best company to help you with your move. They do everything for you! They will come pack up all your things VERY neat, safe, and labeled. They will unload everything for you and even put furniture back together for you! And they do it all so quickly and professionally!! Justin is amazing & does it all! Including making sure everything is labeled, in the correct boxes, and before a box can leave the house he writes it down so they know where everything is. Such an organized and great system!! 100% recommend this team, next time I move I will definitely be using Carey Moving again!! Thank you all, especially Justin!!!

Carey Moving and Storage moved us from North Carolina to Pennsylvania. Everyone we dealt with was helpful and considerate. Joyce and Traci, in the office, we’re always helpful and willing to answer any questions we had about the move. Nick, the driver and supervisor of the men who loaded the truck, was terrific. He kept us apprised of the progress in loading and let us know when he would be arriving at the destination - and he was there. All in all, it was a great move and we have been very pleased with whole Carey organization. We would recommend them ….highly!

I recently moved from a home in North Carolina to a new home in South Carolina. The move was a special challenge as my NC home was nestled on the side of a mountain with winding narrow roads and very steep driveway. From the moving estimate to physical execution of the move, Carey Moving and Storage of Asheville personnel were extremely professional and performed a difficult move job in a manner that far exceeded my expectations on both the pickup and delivery. Outstanding job by all, but a special kudos to Justin who led the move teams in NC and SC. Highly recommend for any moving needs.

They were great! David and his team came and moved all of our heavy furniture and appliances and boxes out of our 3rd floor apartment and into a house this morning. Picked this company cause they were close by and had national affiliation with Allied Van Lines. Tracie the agent, was warm and informative, she quickly set up my move and gave me a reasonable quote. I spoke with her multiple times before the move and she was quick to get back with me with answers to my worries. The day of the move the guys were prompt and courteous. They moved us efficiently and professionally looking out for my valuable furniture. They did not take a break and had us loaded ahead of schedule. They skipped lunch and almost beat us to our storage spot 40 miles away. I would highly recommend this company to anyone moving in the Asheville area.

This team accommodated a super long day with two pickup locations in two different states and still helped move furniture for later junk removal as well. Very professional and helpful! We packed ourselves, but they still helped where we were insufficient with extra packing materials to ensure everything would arrive undamaged. Really appreciated them today!

Neal did a great job with the initial interview and household goods assessment and the crew at pick up and delivery were very friendly and professional. Chuck is an outstanding foreman and driver. Carey Moving and Storage handled our move very well. I did not give it 5 stars only because there were a lot of gouges and rubs on our furniture. The movers and drivers were excellent and did a good job protecting our floors and walls from damage. They were friendly and attentive.

We first had estimates for the move, and Carey was the most reasonable. They were on time both for pickup and delivery. Both crews were courteous and professional. One thing in particular we were impressed with was the determination on the part of one of the movers involving a refrigerator. It was scheduled to go in the utility room, which had room enough, but maneuvering it through the hallways to get it there was another matter. It just seemed impossible, and I was nearly in tears, when one of them decided to take the doors off. Even after that, there was about 1/4" of clearance - but by gosh, he got it in there! I was so grateful. With employees who go the extra length, and won't try to take the easy way out - this is a good company.

We first received an estimate by a very friendly and knowledgeable representative. Pointed out tips for a more efficient move and ways to save in costs. Afterwards, we made the appointment for the move and as we wanted to pack a few things ourselves the staff had boxes and packing materials ready for us at the warehouse. Come moving day, the truck arrived on time and the crew introduced themselves, promptly going to work. Immediately, you recognize their skill and organization. All was taken care of and very little effort on our part. Moved from Asheville, NC to Reunion, FL. We were kept informed of the truck travel and upon arrival to Florida we made the plans for the move into the new house. Again, all done with care and had absolutely no problem. If I ever have to move again, I will not hesitate to call Carey again. One thing I will not do is to waste mine time in packing "a few things" on my own. They do a much better job!

These folks were a pleasure to work with from the first point of contact until the truck left after it's final delivery. Our move involved one pick-up and two deliveries 700 miles away. The move coordinators were professional, responsive and very cooperative. The movers were on time at all three locations and also friendly, professional and efficient. Their estimate was competitive and the final bill came in under their estimate.

I have used the Cary moving comp to move from Asheville NC to NW Indiana. They were recommended by Allied Van Lines agent. I can not just tell you how wonderful their estimate and coordinating the move. The movers came and packed all the things so well that not a single glass broke and no dents or any damages to any thing. Lori, the coordinator is just sweet as can be. This is my first move in last 17 years. I am more than pleased.

Justin and his crew did an outstanding job. We have 3 motorcycles, they took the time to make sure our HD baggers were strapped in tight and padded to perfection. Having a job where I moved every two years for 12 years, I have had alot of experience dealing with Moving Companies. Both large national chains to local Mom & Pop movers alike. Using Carey was especially easy and hassle free. Alot of times the folks you deal with to schedule the move are ALOT nicer than the ones who show up at your house. Carey Movers were top notch top to bottom. We moved into a house and had the movers re-arrange a couple of things, they kept a smile on thier face and were extremely understanding. No items missing, a few things broke but that is to be expected. They were very accomodating and I did not even file a claim as the items broken had little value and the service was outstanding.

Justin Schott from Cary Moving and Storage did what all the drivers from Charlotte (Berger Transfer and Storage with Allied) were afraid to do - drive up a mountain road to deliver our furnishing. Three times the Berger driver, Gary Hamlin, and his associates sent from Charlotte to help him shuttle the goods up the hill said they would do the delivery only to change their story each time and decline to go up the hill. They were obviously afraid of the road. Thank God for Justin Schott who saved us from Berger and Gary Hamlin's inability to keep his word even after specifically being asked multiple times "Are you going to back out again this time Gary?" to which Gary said " Oh no, I am the kind of guy who likes to finish what I start". And then, he backed out the next morning and would NOT deliver. Stay away from Berger and Gary Hamlin. Always depend on Justin Schott from Cary Moving and Storage to follow through and deliver when all the other "professional drivers" sent from elsewhere cannot negotiate a mountain road or keep their word.
