Asheville Moving Company worked miracles for me! I called a dozen different companies trying to get help packing and shipping some family heirlooms from Asheville to my home in Utah, and nobody was able to help me. I almost gave up, but then I called Bruce with Asheville Moving. Even though my request was far outside of what they normally do, he took compassion on me and went above and beyond to help me pack up the heirlooms and arrange shipping for them all the way out here. The moving team was phenomenal--they independently coordinated with external companies as well as with other people at my late aunt's house to get the furniture, pack it up, take it to storage, and ultimately deliver it to the shipping company with no worries at all on my end. And they did a FANTASTIC job packing it up--not the slightest chance of a scratch on the 2,000 mile journey! And all of it done with a smile and an attitude of gratitude. I can't recommend them highly enough!

Asheville Moving Company pulled me out of a botched delivery from a local furniture store. Bruce worked with me on-and-off all day to execute the delivery of a pretty large order. They even made it happen a day earlier than what we initially thought was possible. I should mention this happened on a Sunday. As I found out in W NC, finding help on a Sunday is no easy task. But under a time crunch, I needed to get this order moved and Asheville Moving Company made it happen. A big plus in their service is the communication - knowing the plan - knowing a time frame - and knowing when your order is rolling. I salvaged a day working on my property because I wasn't tied to the house waiting on the delivery. They were fast, professional and transparent about their timeline and ability. Keep in mind that fast doesn't mean careless. They handled every article from the truck to the house with care.

We decided last minute to hire a moving company and Bruce came to our rescue. He was able to get us on the schedule in 2 days and his team showed up right on time. Even though I was obviously not completely ready for them and things were kind of disorganized on my end, these guys were very professional, kind and respectful. The best movers I have ever used. They show up on time, take care of your furniture, wrap in pads the furniture that needs padding, and carefully move each piece in and out of your home. The men are courteous and well mannered. We had them move our household to storage, and one year later move our goods into the new home. During each move, not a scratch or dent on any furniture or any walls in the house. They are very affordable. This is the second time I've used these guys! They are outstanding and don't just serve the Asheville community. They moved me from Belmont to Southport NC, in the same day! The team Bruce sent, were two very professional young men. They were polite, efficient, punctual, and Covid considerate. I was able to find Bruce Hensley on a Google search with Asheville moving company after speaking with him on the phone and doing my research, my family and I were able to contract with him on a moving job to Virginia. I gave him an advance payment 8 days ahead, and they showed up on time they were able to take care of the job extremely quickly and carefully. They were flexible allowing my parents to meet them at the new location to help orchestrate and organize the move. Despite great efforts wrapping and padding our items, there was some damage to a computer monitor. I brought this to Bruce's attention and he took care of this so quickly I did not even have time to file an insurance claim. I will definitely be recommending him to all my friends and family and my coworkers. I could not have been more satisfied. WOW! I can't say enough amazing things about this incredible company! Bruce is absolutely wonderful to work with, and every single mover that we had help us with our extremely LARGE commercial move over 2 days was extremely professional, courteous, efficient, and highly skilled. I had to pack up and move my 1,500 sq. ft. warehouse into storage while my new commercial warehouse is under construction, so it was a very large endeavor. Many large and odd-sized objects, equipment, inventory, and furniture had to be carefully packed and moved over multiple truck loads, and this team REALLY came through for me in a huge way! Needed a Uhaul unloaded and with less than a weeks notice, I found them online and within an hour they called me. When I told them what I needed they were very responsive and were able to get me scheduled for when I needed it. Plans changed due to hurricane Sally and they were able to change their scheduling and come 14 hours earlier than originally scheduled. All workers were polite and accommodating. Not only does Asheville moving company give you a one year warranty on their services but they were incredibly professional and courteous to us and our schedule. We just bought a washer and dryer off of them and when they showed up to deliver and install them They found out that the plugs were different in our house. They went out to buy the ones that out house required and came back with the correct plugs and install them at no extra charge. Outstanding is all we have to say. Not having much experience with movers I called around asking various companies for help with a fairly complicated moving situation. I needed someone to unload a piano in Weaverville, and then load my things from my apartment (on the third floor) in South Asheville, the plan was to have another moving company unload my things two hours away, up another three flights of stairs! Bruce was extremely helpful on the phone, he had lots of good advice about how to rent, and what kind of truck i needed. The day of the move the crew showed up to my apartment after unloading the piano (this is a service that most moving companies do not offer), they were friendly and completely undaunted by the size, weight, amount of all of my things. As a woman who lives alone I was nervous about having men i didn't know in my home but their demeanor immediately put me at ease. They loaded the truck quickly and amazingly efficiently. But then...potential disaster struck, the second moving company called at the very last minute and told me they wouldn't be able to come! I was completely panicked and almost in tears. Bruce overheard the phone call and not a moment passed after I hung up when he told me not to worry, he and business partner would make the (two hour drive) up to the high country and unload all of this stuff, that they had just brought down three flights of stairs back up three flights of stairs! I was amazed, they truly saved the day! After the winding drive up the mountains they again quickly and amazingly efficiently unloaded the truck. They were friendly, professional, knowledgeable and just absolutely wonderful! Six out of five stars!

Wow, I was in a serious jam. Some last minute items came up and the delivery company I planned on using bailed and canceled the job literally last minute. I was in panic mode and pretty desperate. I called everywhere and the only company, literally the only company that showed any type of compassion and willingness to help me out was Asheville Moving. That was the first phase. The second phase was wondering if they were any good. I’ve had some bad service over the years. I figured I was willing to take even the lowest level of service just to get the move done. However, not only did Asheville moving help me when I was in a pickle, they were one of the most professional and careful movers I’ve ever used. From the owner down to the driver, these guys were top notch. I really can’t even begin to tell everyone that reads this how much I appreciate working with them. We have had Bruce and his team work with us three times, most recently for a local household move within Asheville. Bruce treats his customers and team members with respect and appreciation. I don't even consider another moving company! We called them to pack our POD for an out of state move. PODS had some hiccups, so it took three trips by the teams of movers to get 1.5 PODS packed. It really did seem to be expensive when they quoted me to move a Grand Piano, but now I am very grateful to them and have whole new appreciation of what a professional mover can do. If you place any value on your piano, I would very highly recommend this company. Not one, not two, not three, but *four* able bodied and considerate young men brought the piano in the house, properly strapped to a board, and set the whole thing up. If you've never seen a Grand Piano delivered, it takes practically an hour of labor to set it up, and it was a pleasure to watch them and understand that they are skilled at this.

This was the best move we have ever had! We compared prices with several other moving companies and they offered the best price. They were able to squeeze us in...we moved a few days after contacting them! We watched in awe as these guys loaded our 1 bedroom apartment and 2 storage units into the moving truck, and then into our new house. It was like an assembly line. They were able to move very heavy items that other moving companies have had trouble with in the past. We were paying by the hour but they were SO efficient and professional. They did not waste a second! They wrapped everything with care (at lightening speed) and they did not leave a scratch anywhere! ASHEVILLE MOVING COMPANY TO THE RESCUE! I was strung along by RELIABLE STRONG MOVERS for almost four hours before finally having enough and cancelled my order. Antonio flat out LIED and wasted my time when I could have been packed and hitting the road! Do yourself a favour and spare yourself of a horrible moving experience! We frantically searched the web and prayed there were movers available ASAP. We LUCKED out with Bruce and Asheville Moving Company!!! I explained to Bruce what happened and he immediate took action. The 300$ I paid was WELL WORTH the money and time saved. It was for two hours BUT GUESS WHAT y'all?!?! They finished the job within an hour and 10 minutes!!! Bruce picked up, on the first call mind you, and stated that someone will be at my house within 15 minutes. Oh my gosh, guess what? Eric appeared at my house ON TIME and within 15 minutes!!! He introduced himself and asked which of the items are important for us to get on the UHaul. He IMMEDIATELY started loading. How many movers do you know actually does this without their co-workers? None, and I have hired five sets of movers within a one year time frame! I was so impressed!!! Clete and Matt came and started loading as well. I met Mr. Clete whilst renting a UHaul previously and we chatted up a storm. They were so effective that a two hour job took an hour and 10 minutes!!! Everything was packed tight in the UHaul and not one item was damaged during transport. I want to send the biggest THANK YOU TO BRUCE, ERIC, CLETE, and MATT for RESCUING me that day. Communication from Bruce leading up to the appointment was professional and comprehensive, the guys showed up exactly when they said they would, and they did a very professional job while here. They arrived with the equipment to move appliances, a mattress, and a large armoire correctly so that damage to my floors and my walls (and injury to them!) wouldn’t occur. They would have also charged me the same amount just to bring them up the stairs with no delivery. That seems steep to me!) . I'll look around when I'm not feeling so desperate next time!
