My expierence with penske roadside assistance was Less than mediocre. Just Don't purchase the optional insurance and expect the roadside assistance to help for no extra cost. Got our moving truck stuck in the soft sand in the driveway and they deemed it "reckless driving" and said the cost of a wrecker would be my responsibility. Even with the "better" $400 insurance option I purchased. The local Penske in Albuquerque was friendly when I talked to them on the phone. It was no hassle dropping off after hours. The 26' truck drove well and was in good condition. Clean. Also had a car tow trailer. Was a gas hog but that was expected. My complaint is directed towards Penske as a company, not the local places I rented and dropped off.

This place has been very accommodating & more than understanding, after having a medical emergency happen which resulted in having accidentally not being able to return the rented boxtruck, they of course retrieved the truck, then went above & beyond forgiving the charges, then giving me a month in letting me get my possessions from the truck, today was the last day, but I couldn't make it in to get the last couple items from the truck, again their stellar service shined through when the manager Luis gave me till tomorrow morning. Easily one of the best, most gracious moving companies I've ever had the pleasure of working with! Jose in ABQ

My mom and I rented the Penske in another state and we’re having problems so we came to this shop. They got us in and out of there in less than 30 minutes and let my mom and me sit in their break room with two dogs. They were the nicest people and extremely accommodating. Thank you so much for fixing our truck so fast!

We hired a moving company to help us move again and they tried to rip us off. So after kicking them off the property they freaked out saying we couldn't get anything. So we went where we have been treated good. Penske. And guess what, we got a truck and had no problems. They are much cheaper, and took care of us right away. Thank you for rescuing us Penske! 8 yrs ago: The only company who understands that New Mexico is part of the US, and the only company that has made it right if there was a fault in the vehicle.

Everything was ready at the promised time per my reservation. The price quoted was exactly the price on the contract, try that at the competition. My rental, a Ford Transit high van was clean, fueled and in good shape. This vehicle is perfect for an apartment move where parking is at a premium as it fits in a standard space. At least this part of my move was pleasant!

Very Helpful Staff, the truck we used was very nice and clean (also had under 35,000 miles on it), no problems with our reservation what so ever. I also rented a car carrier through this location and they attached to the truck and even helped me (verbally only, due to liability reasons) load my car onto it. I would definitely rent Penske again, and especially from this location!

I work as a contractor using a Penske truck and went to fill up just after Penske opened on a Sunday, and when I pulled up I didn't see anyone, so I honked my horn. Brandon the Penske employee walked up and advised me in the upmost professional way that blowing the horn was not necessary and that he was the only one there opening up shop. He also advised me that I pulled in a bit too fast and said that he's noticed many of the drivers of the company I'm contracting with were pulling in kinda fast as well. I apologized and told him "it will never happen again". I also informed him that last time I came I had to wait 10 minutes before I got out of the truck to find a Penske associate to fuel me and once I did find someone there were 2 guys not working and seemed to be having small talk, which is why I made the decision to honk the horn. I also informed Brandon that I didnt believe I was going too fast, but next time I'll be more conscious of my speed when driving into the yard of Penske and that home and I are on the same accord. He acknowledged what i said and apologized for on behalf of Penske for my last experience, showed understanding and thanked me for my respect and consideration, since there has been times where he's delt with other drivers with similar concerns and they gave him a really hard time. We both agreed that this world needs more people who are more considerate and less selfish. We both gave one another a fist bump and thanked one another for the respectful interaction and for seeing eye to eye and empathizing with each others perspectives.

Great customer service. They threw in free mattress covers. at my destination; I thought I topped off the tank but accidentally missed a few gallons. They waved the fuel charge fee; even though I was in the wrong. I will use Penske for life when I move in the future.

Had a great experience with this loacation. Pick up and drop off was smooth. There was a discrepancy with mileage on one paper compared to what they handed me with my rental agreement. The guy checking me out quickly cleared it up to make sure I wasn't being overcharged. Will use again!

332418 They said they could not find a coolant leak so they filled it up. Ofc, I asked 'where did all the oil and coolant go then?' They said they'll look again. Update, back again... coolant cap wasn't on tight was all and had added a lot a water to get back. Over heating stopped. Update, overheated again. Power wash radiator, bug cake in the intake.

Penske is the way to go, I'll use them for every move. The company is accommodating and always willing to help. At this location, Josh was outstanding. He helped me locate a bigger truck when I realized the one I ordered was too small. With no extra charge he found another truck during a very busy summer week. This location was at a Cube Smart location at 11801 Montgomery Blvd N E Albuquerque New Mexico. My point of contact was Lisa Pribble she helped with getting a truck at last minute. I drive for Allied Van Lines there were no way to get semi truck into stg unit. Nit only did she help my customer get stg unit but got me a truck both done at last minute. Thank you to Penske and to cube smart as well as Lisa Pribble. 5 stars for all parties!

Very attentive, knolageable and friendly. Was there bc in rout to my destination. The truck I rented 5 states away malfunctioned 28 miles outside of their location. They sent a tow truck to bring the truck and I in. When I got to the office it was 12 minutes to close. The associate I dealt with stayed there four extra hours after closing time. He ensure I was given a working truck. A moving company was brought in to transfer my belongings from the disabled truck to the new rental and that I was on the road before leaving for the day. They offered to put me up in a motel for the night, bc of time constraints only as a last resort woukd I have utilized that option. They definitely got what I think any company should do for a customer in my situation but don't think many would. Thank you penske of Albuquerque.

More flexible with us than I anticipated. The 26' diesel lacked torque in high altitude but was better as we neared Austin. Always clean and well maintained vehicles.
