These guys were great! They came out in advance to see our larger items and make sure our estimate was accurate, and they were able to move our 3 bedroom home in the 8 hours they quoted including our hot tub and appliances. We hired three men and they were nothing but pleasant and respectful the entire time. Absolutely worth it!

UPDATE: They are the best! Not cheap, but so worth it. Tina should do classes on customer service! She's responsive, personable, listens, and gets things right. The movers are professional, courteous and most efficient! They have all materials to protect furniture and are prepared, and also ask questions and listen. This is my third move with them. I also love the text notifications throughout so I always know what's going on. Highly recommend!

Very diligent in following up to confirm the appointment time. Three gentlemen showed up as planned, texted 20ish minutes in advance of arrival. Lucky us it snowed the night before, but they were very considerate in helping minimize snow/dirt tracking in. Very professional, very respectful of our property, furnishings, walls and floors. Quick to unpack one 16ft pod. Friendly, considerate, willing to offer additional assistance with assembling furniture. GREAT JOB!!

My parents had recommended them after they had used them to move into their house 22 years ago. Called them up and we got an appointment scheduled in minutes. I got a verification call 2 days before the move. I wasn’t able to be there to let them into my apartment so I had help from some friends but they accommodated that perfectly. They called to let me know when they were on their way, when they got to my house, and when they finished. Overall, I am extremely impressed by this business. They were so thorough when placing my items into my house. They took care of my items and that was huge for me. And they were quick! Moving my items from a 3rd story apartment all the way to my house, they were in and out in 3 hours! Great price for great work!

I had a great experience with ABQ Discount Movers right from the very start. Tina, who took my initial call, explained all options and pricing in a very clear, concise manner. And she didn't leave anything out, down to the $14 fuel surcharge. I knew exactly what to expect on my bill at the end of the move, no surprise charges. All the information I provided was taken down correctly and noted, she called to give me the 30 minute heads up on arrival time as I requested, and the driver sent a text shortly after to follow up and confirm. Joseph, Christian and Santiago worked efficiently and took care with moving furniture and fragile items. No damages noted in handling or transport. I expected a 5-6 hour total time frame, and they had everything wrapped up in under 5 hours. And they were able to take payment by credit card on site at the end of the job. Very happy with this team, I wouldn't hesitate to recommend them to anyone.

The movers were really good. The only downside is that the company charges a 2.5 hour minimum. If you need movers for longer than that, then it's no problem. They're very professional and good. If you need only a few things moved though, it kinda sucks to have to pay for 2.5 hours. It costs about $300 for the 2.5 hours by the way. I think it was $274 to be exact. All in all, I would use the company again if I needed a lot of things moved.

Would hire these folks again! The scheduling process was quick and responsive. It's a good value. The movers worked quick. I only gave 4 stars as opposed to 5 because a little more care could have been put into moving - ie a few items for dinged/scratched the floors were chipped. Albuquerque discount movers were very professional. They confirmed the day before and the driver texted me the morning of the move. The quote and what I paid for were the same. I paid $430 for a 3-hour move but that included the travel time, the fuel and taxes. They were very fast and very efficient. I was just transferring to another unit in my apartment complex, but they had to move me out of a 3rd floor unit into a 2nd floor unit - SO many stairs! I was amazed at how fast and efficient they were, and they were very careful with my furniture as well. This is the best moving company I have ever had experience with! Tina was so nice and helpful! I booked about 3 weeks in advance and I moved on a Friday. They were there at 8:30am and they were done by 11:45am. And I even moved into a 3rd floor apartment on the other side of town! They were so efficient! The price was also very good! This is our third cross country move, and I have to say that the three guys from ABQ discount movers gave us the best moving experience we've ever had. They were able to somehow squeeze all of our belongings from a 1300sq ft house into a 8x8x16 PODs unit that was probably undersized for what we needed. There was obvious expertise in the way Joseph was able to fit and secure everything neatly and completely to the top of the trailer. They also disassembled furniture/bed frames and properly padded wood furniture to keep safe from damage. I honestly cannot recommend these guys enough. The three of them were incredibly nice and professional, and finished the job in just over 2 hours - a feat I didn't think would be possible. Be sure to tip your movers!!! I did a quick google search for movers in ABQ for a move. My move was a little different because I was moving from Florida to ABQ & needed movers to unload a pod. I was quoted for $120 a hour (3 person crew) with a minimum of two hours. No deposit required or anything. There was a slight mixup regarding when they would be coming but it was easily smoothed over after a few calls. The move itself only took one hour and that included putting my furniture in the rooms I wanted. I was very impressed! All furniture was handled carefully and nothing damaged. Would highly recommend!

Wonderful service!!!! I hired 3 men for 3 hours and they moved my entire house with ease. They were very mindful of my furniture and professional. I have nothing but great things to say about them. When they arrived at my house we all stood together and came up with a "game plan" a few minutes later the magic began. Highly recommend. The professionally dressed and polite moving crew arrived on time and worked quickly and efficiently throughout the day. Not one minute of wasted time. They were careful both with my household goods and my home. When an unexpected event occurred (my storage unit was too small), they made the adjustment to move the truck and start unloading into a second unit (one I rented on the spot) without reservation or complaint. The owner/estimator who came to my home initially gave me great advice about how to prepare to make the move go as smoothly as possible and came well prepared for what I had. This week I used Albuquerque Discount Movers to move all my possessions locally. I could not have been happier! I received texts telling me who was assigned to my job, then one telling me when they would be here. Then Joe 1 (both are named Joe) texted me that he was enroute. They arrived exactly when they said they would be here. Then they assessed the situation and immediately got to work. Joe 2 made some great recommendations about "wrapping" my furniture. I really appreciated that. They worked quickly and efficiently. When we got to the storage unit I didn't think it would all fit. But they are professionals and they got it all in with room to spare. All of this at a very fair price! I highly recommend them for moving.

When I realized I would be moving during the COVID-19 pandemic, I decided I would enlist the help of professionals rather than cashing in on favors owed by friends. I called Two Men and a Truck, but the quote they gave me was far above my budget. I called Albuquerque Discount Movers and spoke to Tina, who gave me a reasonable quote. Tina was friendly, professional, and kept me updated via text messages and phone calls throughout the process. When moving day came, the movers were friendly, fast, and professional. At the end of the move, I was charged less than what Tina quoted me! My move was pretty speedy, but I appreciate that the cost was less than anticipated. I don't plan to move for a while, but I will definitely recommend Albuquerque Discount Movers to friends and family.

I used Albuquerque Discount Movers twice, once to unload my moving truck in March 2017 and once to load a POD in December 2017. Both experiences went really well. Tina is very helpful and professional and she explained all the fees upfront so there were no surprises when it came time to pay the bill. Both teams arrived on time and worked quickly. My 2 bedroom apartment was loaded into a 16 ft POD in 3 hours by 3 workers (and that's going up and down 3 flights of stairs). None of my belongings were ever damaged during the unload or load and the POD was packed expertly. I highly recommend ABQ Discount Movers.

Our situation was a little complicated because we were not moving the whole house and we have two drop off locations. The elder Kevin was able to walk through the house and remember everything I told him about which items were going and which were staying. They took great care of the precious items and antiques. The easiest move ever. Arnoldo met me at my storage unit and loaded everything up with Mario and Luis. They were speedy, friendly, super respectful, and careful. Somehow the unloading part seemed even easier than the loading part even though we moved to an upstairs unit in the far back of the complex. They made sure to put things in the appropriate rooms and always asked for direction on things that weren't well-labled. These were great movers and scheduling the move was super easy too. When I move again, I will call these guys first without a doubt. I will recommend them to everyone!
