Highly recommend this company, we had to change our moving date and they were able to accommodate. We had done some packing, but Tim and Josh arrived right on time the morning of our move, walked through and informed us we had more than anticipated and asked permission to bring in a 3rd mover. We agreed and Andre was called in. The 3 of them moved quickly and efficiently, they were so helpful, extremely professional, and were even really great with our toddler. By the end of the day she had warmed up to them, which she doesn’t easily do with just anyone. The buyer’s of our house were extremely difficult and at the last minute demanded things in the basement be moved, Tim and Josh went above and beyond and helped us clear out the basement and certainly didn’t have to do so. We ended up having to store the truck and finish in the morning, moved 3 hours out of state and then Josh and Tim unpacked and helped us move into our new house. Couldn’t have done it without them, we are so thankful to have had their help. Thank you Josh, Tim, and Andre Troy, Elissa, and Theo Dennis

Not exactly punctual, two hours late. But I wouldn't fault the movers themselves for the clerical error. Supervisor informed me of a few things the gentlemen doing the moving/packing would pack. He was either not well informed, or mislead on purpose. Still wasn't anything major, it's just the principle of the matter. The movers themselves were very polite, professional, and efficient. They did overlook a few things in the kitchen, and closets that I wasn't too thrilled to have to move after having hired movers. However, overall, they did a great job, were very friendly, didn't break anything, and didn't damage any of either property. I will say, I should have noticed the missed items, and brought it to their attention. I have no doubt that they would have apologized for the oversight and taken care of it immediately. Would still absolutely recommend the business and their service. Items overlooked included in the photo. P.S. They will not pack your fridge if you request packing services. Do not listen to the appraiser.

Commercial move….LOTS of items and some of them extremely heavy. The guys were polite to our employees, and worked hard. Only one thing dropped/broken in an entire warehouse full stuff, and that was because the guy missed a step and went down.

Very easy to book, responsive customer service, affordable rates, and the moving crew DJ and Jeremy were fantastic! Very friendly and extremely hard-working. They loaded quickly, asked where things needed to go, and arranged furniture nicely in the new place. They were very cautious with our furniture, walls, and doorframes and nothing is broken or scratched. We had never hired movers before but we got lucky with the best company and crew in Kentuckiana! 😁

They were almost 2 hrs late. They had only 1 truck instead of 2. They never brought the boxes to pack up the loose items as stated on the invoice and never put the beds together like was agreed upon Per the quote. Also have a statue , fountain , wheel chair and loose stuff that I now have to move myself because they never finished. Changing my review after speaking with management they are doing everything possible to make this right. I appreciate them working with me to get this resolved in a timely manner.

Edit - after posting this review the company reached out to me and worked very hard to make it right. I truly appreciated the response and effort to make it right. Definitely improved my view of them. Long and short of it - they said they would be able to disassemble and reassemble a Murphy bed. They didn't, and they will not return calls after promising they will. The crew was also late and took multiple 30 minute breaks and a 2 hour lunch. Later looked at invoice and realized we not only paid for long breaks (which is understandable) but also 1 of the 2 hours of lunch.

Wonderful. They were slightly late due to a clerical error BUT the moving team more than made up for it. They took great care to wrap all the furniture and they were fascinating to watch because of their knowledge and teamwork. Moved twice in 50 days and had the crew of Jeremy, Ray, Tone, Jacob. The guys are very professional and work really hard. The care given to furniture is exhibited throughout the process as evidenced by wrapping, securing and loading so as to provide safe transport. Well worth the investment. Booking is a breeze thru Patrick. Owner needs to give them very good year end bonuses. These guys are working 14+ days without a break and have built up quite the expertise to make the move really efficient.

Tony, our driver is an EXCEPTIONAL human being!! He made sure he protected our belongings by wrapping breakable items and handled everything with extreme care. He managed my concerns and questions by assuring me things were progressing as they should and was always courteous and polite! Tony stayed in contact with us through the 3 day process with phone calls and texts and arrived when he said he would. He managed the extra workers required at our destination and I could not have asked for a better experience!! He has been invited to our home for Christmas because we appreciate him that much. Acceptable work overall. A few things to consider, though. There are hidden charges that are not disclosed in the original estimate. Travel time is charged separately (it took much longer than normal. For a 18 miles distance it took almost an hour). Not responsive after the service is performed. Will use a different company in future.

The 5 stars are definitely geared towards Hunter - he was absolutely fantastic. He and Aaron made sure everything was loaded safely and efficiently. Where I feel Kentuckiana needs to improve (at least with out of state moves) is communication/coordination with external vendors ensuring the company they are using is reputable and dependable or just send two of their own guys instead. The additional person they identified to help unload in the out of state move ended up not showing up (after being told a few times they would be there). Overall it was a positive experience, but again, that is owed to Hunter and not only his fantastic work ethic, but very positive attitude.

Update: I just hired Kentuckiana Moving again for my move. Hunter and David did a great job with moving me into a very old building. Tight corners and hallways made the move challenging. Throw in a dungeon-like basement with bugs (picture Indiana Jones) to put a wash and dryer in, and a huge couch that (ultimately) just couldn't fit, then you add a long day that was hot and humid; but, they did a wonderful job. They didn't try to force the sofa, made calls and decisions, and measured things to make sure they would fit. Great job, fellas! Thank you! Matt and Jacob were wonderful! I didn't have a lot of stuff, but what I had was heavy. They took care with my things, didn't waste time, made sure I knew what to expect, and were extremely friendly and courteous. Their customer care and the cost of the move was impeccable compared to other companies in the area I looked at. Thank you so much!

The job ended up being much bigger than anticipated (clearing out and moving a basement to storage for renovation) but they were able to get the job done in a timely and professional manner. Pros: Ray, Dee and "Frenchie" were so professional!! They handled our items with kit gloves. They were on time, courteous, and their customer service was on spot! They were quick in loading yet very careful. Friendly!! Cons: The walk through during the free estimate to see how long it would take, how many trucks it would take, and manpower was WAY OFF. There was only 3 workers and 1 truck (26'). Should have been 2 trucks and 4 men, as we have a lot of items (4 br, 2 car garage). I do not blame the workers as they were there to move us. Since it took way longer than it should and they did not get all our items, I give 4 stars. Had they gotten the estimate correct, I would have given 5 stars. In saying that, they did give me a 5% discount on the price, which we thought should have been more, because now, we have to rent a U-Haul to move the rest of our stuff. I would recommend them for sure, just make sure the walk through estimate is going to be more realistic.

Hired Kentuckiana to offload a DITY military move. They could get on post no problem! Worked hard and took care in unloading our custom made furniture. We had to make a separate trip to a storage unit which was included in the labor cost because it was close by. Highly recommend this team of pros. We will use them again when we leave Ft Knox.

Kentuckiana Moving managed our move from Louisville KY to Kansas City. I wasn't sure about not going with the bigger name companies for a cross-country move. When I vetted them, they assured me that they would have the same people who managed the move in Louisville, to unload us in Kansas City. The team, lead by John, was very professional. He communicated ahead of time, and answered all my questions. AJ was such a hard worker and had all the skills needed to safely unload. Ray also helped and could carry a huge amount of weight, and knew how to pivot furniture to get it into tight spaces. The day definitely started rough. My roommates and I scheduled the movers to arrive between 9 and 10. after being notified that one of our movers had been injured that morning, at 10:15 were told that it would be another hour before someone could get to us, okay no big deal things happen, right? it wasn’t until about 6 and half hours and 3 different times told to us later that our movers finally showed up at 4:21 pm. while i will say Jon was in contact with us for much of this waiting process and things happen ( I totally understand) it was still a pretty big inconvenience. It just felt very unorganized which is the last thing you want to be when running a business like this. Patrick and Jacob did a really good job moving us quickly, i will say. and i definitely appreciated the discount given to us. however i probably wouldn’t suggest this company to anyone based on how unorganized it seemed on their end. I will say however this discount and the quick pace of the movers when they finally got there definitely saved the day and the review from being 1 star. decent, but not the greatest is how i would sum up my experience. and who knows, maybe it was just a fluke and an off day, it happens.

Their quote was the most reasonable of all the quotes we got, and since we stayed organized each move, we came in under their estimate in time and by a couple hundred dollars in price both times — you can’t beat that! Had I not ran after them after immediately leaving, they would have left without putting up my TV that they packed. I understood that everyone was tired. But I had expectations that whatever they disassembled, they would reassemble. So the fact that the desk parts weren't at least packed together, or that the washing machine couldn't be hooked up because those important parts were left behind, it adds more time on me than what I already have. Granted it was a long move with a lot of stuff for a family of 5, they were able to get the job done in about 8 hrs (minus the travel time) I just wish we had everything at least brought all in one trip.

We used this company at the beginning of November to empty a large/full storage unit and move it into our new home. The three young gentlemen that helped us were Anthony, Keaton and Patrick and they were very polite, professional and efficient. I appreciated their non-stop work for over five hours and their careful packing and handling of our belongings. After the truck was emptied and many boxes and totes that were not labeled I initially just had them put them in my garage because I did not know at the time where they belonged. They offered to move this stuff to their proper locations in our home if I wanted to check to decide before they left. That was EXTREMELY helpful and I was thankful that they took the time to check before leaving to ensure all the moving of things was taken care of...it saved my husband and I from having to move these heavy totes and boxes ourselves. Also something I was impressed with was my relatively short notice with booking this company...maybe five days prior notice and they were able to accommodate us with such short notice and even move us on a Sunday morning which was exactly what was needed with our schedules. I priced two other companies in addition to this one and this was also the least expensive of the three. This is a company I would recommend to anyone that is looking for a flexible and professional company to move them.

I wanted to post this the day after our move but we have been so busy with life that I am just now getting this done. I am fist going to run you through the day we had scheduled with All My Sons and then tell you why I love Kentuckiana moving. Me and my family had originally had scheduled a move with All My Sons and was quoted a base price of $816.00 the most that it would go up he said was if they went past three hours. If we wanted extra materials he said those were optional. We had them booked a month in advance. We boxed everything wrapped all things needed with shrink wrap and moved every single thing the the living room so they could just walk in grab and go without moving things in an out of rooms. The day came for them to get there. When they arrived the movers(3 movers) walked in and seemed so overwhelmed I thought they would cancel on us. On our reservation we went over very thoroughly with him every item and floor, they should have been prepared. Instead when he left to get his tablet for pricing, he came back up to tell us they will need to add on extra for the stairs, ( three flights was already addressed when reserved), they need to add shrink wrap ( even though me and my husband already wrapped everything that needed to be. We even wrapped dresser and containers). He also said he needs to add on for extra tape…. That was definitely a strange one considering everything was boxed and taped. Any way his price after all of this was going to be around $2000.00. We informed him that’s no where near a goal that we had discussed and we need him to contact his boss. His boss then called me and said I will just have to pay it that the reservation sales people do not know how to quote so they are usually wrong. This led to him getting irate with me ,and my husband heard the call and told him that we will just use another place that he has no right to talk that way. He said fine and hung up. Getting to the good part!!!!!!! I then asked God to show me how to get this done with very little time to have us out and I looked up movers. I saw Kentuckiana moving company and called right away!!! The gentleman that answered was so polite and helpful!!!! He even let me FaceTime him to show him all the stuff we needed to move. He gave me an amazing price and he also had a cancel for that day so he could have them come over right away. He also assured me that the movers were professional and had years of experience. When they arrived 30 min later the movers ( only 2) were already ready to get the job done and immediately started packing stuff out. They were so efficient and quick. Definitely mastered quality and quickness. They took less time then the other company quoted and were so much more professional and caring. The total too for the entire move was a $100 dollars less than what All My Sons quoted!!!!!!We are booking them again!!! The movers names were Hunter and Jamie. I highly recommend!!!!!!!

After a last minute issue with the other company I hired, I called Kentuckian Movers. They were able to fit me in last minute and were a 1/3 of the cost of other quotes I received. Moving day came, Chris and Tim gave us a courtesy call when they were 10 minutes out. They had me packed in a hour tops and moved me out of state. They were friendly and professional making sure I knew of items that were loose before putting them in the truck. When we got to my storage space, they packed everything so nicely to ensure we had more space if we needed to put more furniture in it. CHRIS and TIM were great! Showed up on time and were always very respectful. Took a lot of care in getting large heavy pieces thru difficult areas. Had a couple of items needing further disassembly and they were very helpful in this, including putting it back together again upon arrival. The move out involved stairs/sharp turns/small spaces, and it was evident these guys knew how to properly maneuver the items. It was a hot day they worked very hard the entire time. The four man team worked to get our large move in one day. The team leader Chris was always thinking ahead, patient with questions, and worked as hard as everyone else. After a very long 10 hours, Keith, David, and Pat has us all moved in and happy in our new house! The guys worked so hard and would not allow my wife or I to help at all.
