Visited this dealership after my last bike got totaled. My sad day turned into a great one thanks to Darrin and Tanya’s wonderful hospitality and salesmanship. Darrin walked me through the many bikes on the floor, and was incredibly straight forward and honest about what I may or may not be looking for. He gave me the MSRP for a brand new MT-07, and not a dollar more, allowing me to walk out the door both physically and financially comfortable. Tanya took the time to walk me through all my financial options, and even helped me understand the credit and loan system in general. She helped me feel not as financially-illiterate as I actually am, and did it with a smile. I picked up the bike the morning after, and am now a proud owner of a really fun, agile, and AFFORDABLE Yamaha MT-07. What was a bad situation, turned into a great one, and I feel comfortable with not only the bike, but with the new shop I will now frequent. Thanks guys!!

These people really took care of me. I had a great purchasing experience from start to finish. I called one day to ask about a Honda cb650r and Esteban answered, talked me through the specs of the bike they had. I came in the next day and met him, very informative and pleasant. No pressure at all. I put a deposit down on the bike and they held it for me for a week while I got other details straightened out. When I came in to pick up the bike, they had fixed the few loose screws I noticed, and gave me a full tank of gas. Tonya was incredibly friendly and helpful with the purchase/paperwork process. Darrin had positive energy and made me feel welcomed. I believe the service guys name was Christopher. He took me outside and walked me through the bike and it’s functions. Told me the history of the bike and was very friendly too. They even cut me a deal on some helmets and helped out a bit with the price of the bike. I will definitely be a repeat customer. I could write pages of the positive experiences I have had with NY Honda Yamaha. I’ve been riding for 35 years, year-round in everything but snow, for daily commute and pleasure. First and foremost, their service shop is top-notch. They are fast, honest, and reliable. Christopher and Christian who man the service desk are as knowledgeable and friendly as you can ask for. As distrusting of shops as I have become, if Christopher or Christian make a recommendation then I have zero doubts it’s the way to go. You will return if you try them once. Second, their sales are fair and low-pressure. My teen son purchased his first bike (used 2015 Honda CBR3003), and we all felt comfortable with the purchase. The owner Darrin was involved despite the low price, and promised to stand behind what he sold. He proved this when the bike needed a simple clutch cable adjustment weeks later. So I have literally used this place myself for years, and recommended it to my own family. I can’t think of a better place in the tristate area. If you are considering anything regarding motorcycles, do yourself a favor and visit NY Honda Yamaha.

I had a good experience - Darrin was upfront, clear, and came through with a good price for the scooter I bought and was also accommodative enough to deliver it as promised on a Friday. Much better than other experience I had with other dealers. Wide selection of various bikes, and primed to sell quickly with inventory moving quickly given the season. One small nit: they didn’t deliver the bike with the screws and bolts for the registration plate, so the delivery guy put it on with zip ties and I had to fix it on later. Not sufficient to take away a star but one stop short of a perfect 10/10 experience.

I got my first bike 6 years ago a 2011 honda cbr 250r even though that bike cost me $4,000 new. I had really bad credit, tho the team at New York Honda Yamaha, they still found a way for me to finance this bike. Throughout the years I have not once regretted this as my first bike. Here are the reasons why! It's a practical city bike, very light weight, easy to ride, fuel efficient, you can use all its power all the time without it scaring you & you could avoid any emergencies with it's razor-sharp handling. When my original tires worn out & they were good tires. But decided to upgraded to Michelin Pilot road 3, which are the grippiest & soft riding all season tires & amazing in the rain... Throughout the 13 years I have been riding, I have experience with these bikes. 2006 Harley-Davidson Street Bob, 2011 BMW s1000r, 1996 Honda vtx600 Shadow, 2010 Honda Nt700v, 2009 Honda Shadow 750, 2007 Honda cbr 600rr, 2008 Honda cbr1000rr, 2006 Ducati monster 620, 2008 Ducati 1098s, 2012 Triumph Street Triple 675 R, 2010 Triumph Speed Triple 1050,... After riding all these different bikes they were all great in their own little ways.. but they were missing the one thing I love the most. which is lots of torque. So I had only one option to go with! Which is 2015 Triumph Rocket 3 Roadster that I added to my new toy collection. I absolutely love this bike it's so powerful and comfortable and it sounds amazing... I want to give a big thanks to the team at New York Honda Yamaha dealership.. Thank you again Darrin who helped me with the finance, insurance quotes, he even found me the cheapest insurance quote for me. He's very friendly & professional, he always accommodates me with a smile and shakes my hand. Actually they all do.. Salesperson Chris is friendly and very knowledgeable in giving you the right advice to get you the right bike for your needs, and when it comes to servicing your bike.. Hector is always there for you when you need something in a pinch. On the plus side these guys are truly like family I have done group rides to Bear Mountain with them, We also did a bikini bike wash which was great. All in all I highly recommend this place if you plan to get a new motorcycle or used they even have ATVs if that's what you want or generators.. My friends and I ride a lot of miles, so I wanted to get a motorcycle that I could do that and be comfortable. I did my reaserch and settled on a 2018 FJR1300. Called up New York Honda Yamaha, they said they had the bike, it was still in the box. Gave me a good price and with a 4 year warranty. My wife and I came in on a saturday, did the paperwork, had my trade in evaluated and was out of the door in 30 minutes. Darren and Vickie took care of everything. The following week picked up the bike, which was assembled and ready to go. Great dealership and easy straight forward people to deal with. Bought a bike from Darrin and the gang a few years ago and was very pleased with the experience. I especially like when I have to get it serviced, I make an appointment where I can just go to a movie down the block and by the time it's over, I just return and pick the bike up. Just bought a 2022 Africa Twin DCT and had the same great experience. I was in and out in a day thanks to Tanya, who was so nice and friendly throughout the process.

Update: Even though I didn't buy from them, I highly recommend. Great people, honest and excellent price. I couldn't find a better place. However, it would have taken a long time for them to get the bike I was looking for. I ended up buying a different bike that I was luck to find in stock (different manufacturer). Gave them a call and got my refund back almost immediately. Original: I'd like to start stating that this is a preliminary review based on the two times I went there to start the process of buying a bike. As said previously, I went there twice. On the first day I talked to Francisco, he clearly answered all my questions, and gave me the out of the door price. As far as I can tell, completely honest. On the second day, I talked to Darrin that helped me decide (I asked for his opinion) which model would be best for me and I placed a security deposit of $300 (refundable) because they don't have the bike. They made it clear that it's going to take a few weeks for them to get the bike. Although it's not completely clear how long, I agree that it doesn't depend exclusively on them. Again, straightforward conversation, quick, honest. These are my impressions so far. I'll update as necessary. Now, about the "problems" and the reason I'm not giving 5* 1. Their website is almost useless and the inventory there is completely outdated. If you want to deal with them, go in person and I expect you will have a good experience. 2. Their inventory seems to be small. I'm looking for a small naked bike (~300) and they had none in stock, either new or used. To be fair, they had, but those are sold. One might blame the global logistic issues, but I believe it's their job to find a solution. Let's see how long I'll have to wait. In summary, I like the place and how I was treated. I recommend anyone living/working nearby to go there and talk to them. Forget about their website.

I purchased my first motorcycle after riding a 250cc scooter for a few years. Not only did Amari and Dan of NY Honda Yamaha patiently walk me through the process, but did a complete run down of the bike (Honda NC700X DCT) without making me feel like the novice I am. They were very willing to strike a deal and didn't push me to buy from inventory. In addition, the mechanics have been very helpful with calls! The team at NY Honda Yamaha is outstanding, namely Esteban and Darren. They were super responsive from the time of my initial inquiry about the bike, to the day I purchased the bike. Any time you call, a human being picks up the phone- no automated systems. They took a reasonable refundable deposit and kept me closely posted on the transit and status of the bike. Sadly due to covid- demand is high and production of bikes is low. My only wish is that the manufacturers could get bikes to dealers sooner, I had to wait 3 months for the bike I wanted (again, at no fault of the dealership, just the current status of things!). Outside of that, I had the perfect experience at this dealership. When it was time to pick up my bike, it was ready at the time promised, with the temp reg and plates already on the bike. Paperwork took all of 10 minutes and I was on the road. As per their advertisement, they do not charge all sorts of dues/fees/extras on their bikes, which saves you a few hundred bucks out the door. I am really impressed with this dealership and would recommend anyone looking to buy a bike to stop by and say hello to Esteban or Darren!

It was a pleasure doing business with Darrin and his team at NY Honda Yamaha. Dina, their finance manager, and Darrin responded promptly and patiently to every single one of my inquiries. I had requested quotes from several dealers, however NYHY stood out for their honest pricing, promptness, and patience. Since I was coming from out-of-state, we were able to sort out all of the details of the sale over phone/e-mail before I arrived. When I arrived, all the paperwork was already prepared for me to sign and reflected exactly what we had agreed to down to the last cent. I just purchased a new bike from NY Honda Yamaha last week. Everything was superb, from the service to the pricing of the bike itself. They beat all the quotes I got from local dealers and it was worth taking the trip from eastern Long Island. If you're a skeptic like I was seeing that there are no additional fees, don't be! It's no joke. Darrin was honest and helpful before I even set foot in the building by providing a quote over the phone without being asked- genuinely seemed as if he wanted to be clear and do honest business. I've met too many dealers who won't talk shop unless they know they're getting your money but Darrin was personable. When I got there the floor staff were friendly and conversational and when it came down to talking business they made the entire experience quick and easy, working on my time with zero pressure to buy. The bike was promptly delivered and at a fair delivery price considering my location. It was an overall terrific buying experience. I'd recommend them to anyone. As a bonus (and calamity on my end) I left my license and credit card in a rush and hadn't realised until nearing the end of my multiple-hours trip home, but Darrin called and overnighted it to me immediately. True customer service.

Working with NY Honda Yamaha was a welcome relief from normal, often negative, dealership experiences I have had over the years. In a climate that does not currently require them to be kind or patient, due to the limited availability of new units arriving across the country, they were both. There were many people interested in the bike I purchased, but they kept their word on not selling it out from under me while I went through the financing process. They have to make their money, like all other businesses, but come across as very transparent and reasonable. A special shout out to Tanya in financing for being so patient with my questions.

The Myst

Bought a 21 standard MT09 from these guys after getting multiple tough quotes from other dealers including Island Powersports, Prospect Motorsports and various NJ dealers. They hold true to their website's claim of "no freight, prep or setup", however I was quoted 10.2k OTD by the salesman over the phone but ended up paying 10.8k OTD when I got there. The kicker? A doc prep and financing fee. I wish the salesman was more transparent about this, but regardless, they still blew away every other dealer I visited looking for this bike. The process was relatively painless, bike was delivered in perfect condition, had no issues overall. Also brought the bike in for its 600 mile service, they actually performed a real service as opposed to many dealers simply changing the oil and sending you on your way. The price was reasonable ($209 + tax) and work done relatively quickly. All in all, I'd give them 4.95 stars as opposed to a full 5 due to the discrepancy in OTD quote vs. actual, but given the state of motorcycle dealer networks in the Tri-state area, they're still one of the good guys overall. I'm probably going to buy a Honda Navi from these guys when they become available!

I love this place, but it's kind of a one sided relationship. I bought my motorcycle here. Sales process was stupid easy and they don't hit you over the head with extra fees. They gave me a very fair price for my trade in and that process was painless. Sales people are great and treat you like family...then you ride away feeling like a million bucks. But here's the rub...the service department. It's now time for my bike's 600 mile service, but trying to get the bike in at a time that works for me is like pulling teeth. They hold regular business hours, the same hours that most people work, so finding the time is rough and they're not very flexible. Tried to get service done three times unsuccessfully. First come, first served on Saturdays...I was there at 8am and 12 people were already ahead of me; there's just no winning. It's frustrating and annoying. It's like having a partner who is great in bed, but then they hog the sheets and kick you out of bed in the middle of the night. So in short, it's a great place to buy your motorcycle, but I'm not overly impressed with the service department.

He is a great guy and his relaxed, laid-back, and friendly demeanor just add to my already great buying experience. they even handles all of the paper work, registration, and inspection right there so that I could ride my bike home that day. I really love these people. Like truly. I went to find out about buying a Honda Grom sometime last year and they were all super helpful. Unfortunately I didn’t qualify for financing. Even with that they were still helpful in letting me know and even telling me tips on how to build credit. That was super appreciated. Couple months later I buy a Grom privately. I brought it to them to add parts on service, etc. everything was fairly priced and they treated me more then well. Fast forward to today, 1/18/19, I just left their shop with a brand new 2019 Honda CB300R. For those who want a simple review... You will not be disappointed. Customer service was excellent, price was just right, over all great experience. Now for those who want a detailed review... I previously purchased two bikes from other locations but this by far was the best. I walked in early in the morning and thought to myself that these guys might hate me they probably didn't get their cup of coffee yet but it was the exact opposite of that. Chris approached me and started helping me out right away. I told him I was interest in a Honda fury well aware of the prices and the rebates and he showed me one he had on the floor a 2014 pearl white with red trim msrp on that bad boy was around 13k. Although it's new it's still technically last years model so Chris straight out told me that he can probably give it to me for about 9300. Satisfied with the price he goes inside to start the paperwork and he comes back to me and said he can actually give it to me for 8700. Now if you go to dealerships you know they never want to bring down prices but this salesman did just that even after I agreed to the 9300 so I was very happy with that. He then showed me how much they got the bike for how much rebates he got me and so forth... HE SHOWED ME THE NUMBERS that just never happens. Usually your salesman goes speak to the manager behind a closed door while you wait anxiously looking from far only wondering if your getting a good deal. I then met Darrin who was a salesman on the floor as well, or so I thought. He helped me start the process to finance through the bank. Sweetest guy ever he left me afterwards for a little bit to tend to another customer but he was a great guy but what's even better is that HES THE OWNER. I have never been to a dealership where the owner is on the floor interacting with customers and selling. While waiting for the bank results I enjoyed a great conversation with Chris about things other that motorcycles which was great and spoke a little bit with Darrin also about other things so to be able to walk into a dealership and be able to laugh about anything is a great feeling. I then went to Dina the finance manager. Immediately I felt comfortable. She was talking to me as if she knew me her entire life and I felt so relaxed she got me approved and also brought my interest rate down and gave me a big high five while doing it. You kidding me right? This place is awesome. So I tell them I want to add an exhaust to my new bike they send me over to the parts department. I didn't get the guy's name but he was a very cool young looking guy with glasses he walked me through exhausts and prices and no they did not overcharge me. They charged me the price they pay where the order it from. How do I know? THEY SHOWED ME THE BOOK. I was very happy with that price so he called Hector from service to give me a price on labor and instead of giving me a price, he informed me that on that partic bike it'll be better to get the full system exhaust rather than the slip on. At first I thought it was just to sell me something more expensive but it turns out he was right and the price difference was only 100 so to go to a place that looks out for your best interest says a lot. I then pick out a helmet in which the parts guy continues to help me but gives me feedback on his opinions and experiences with helmets. I try some on and find the right one he gets it ready for me and Darin comes and gives me a discount for the helmet. Now I'm just baffled. How are these guys willing to lower prices all the time. So I was speaking to Dina for a bit then Chris and a little bit with Darin and it was simple. Other places sell the maybe at a higher price but less units. They sell at a lower price but more units. But that's not all. The wonderful experience they give customers make them want to come back and refer their friends to this place right? So when you need something fixed when you need a part for your bike or you just need a new bike in general where do you think they will go. LIKE I SAID BEST EXPERIENCE EVER. Thank you guys
