I honestly don’t know where to begin when it comes to Bergen County Harley Davidson…. I don’t typically write reviews but I always read them so I truly wanted to talk about our experience at this dealership in hopes of helping someone else as others reviews have helped me in the past. I wanted to get my husband the bike of his dreams that he has been wanting for over 10 years. I never thought I would be able to make it happen as my credit isn’t what you would consider “stellar” but that all changed when I called BC Harley Davidson !! Brandy our sales woman, Adam the sales manager and Lynda in finance are the AMAZING team that helped me make this happen, they have to be the nicest, most compassionate and patient group of people I have ever met in my life, amazing isn’t even strong enough a word to describe them and the treatment they showed us !! They helped me step by step, they also allowed me to do a lot of the paperwork via email, online and over the phone since I work all different hours which was so helpful ! After filling everything out and all of them working incredibly hard and past closing for us It took only one day and I received the best phone call ever and the following day after work we were on our way down to the dealership. I’m not even exaggerating when I say you feel like and are treated like family the second you walk in there they are beyond welcoming to everyone ! We were hanging out outside talking with all of them including the owner as if we had known them forever I cannot begin to thank this amazing team and dealership enough for everything you did for us and giving us the best buying experience ever. This is the ONLY dealership we will ever buy a bike from, even if one day we move from Bergen county we will travel to come here no matter what thank you all again and we can’t wait to come for bike nights 💗

The other Google reviews are not lying. This was an amazing experience from start to finish. Fast and friendly the entire thing took a day and probably bc we got there at 6pm. Our sales person Brandy was so knowledgeable, honest and warm. She actually listened and stayed late to make sure we were good. Lynda (finance) was also amazing, she was patient and explained every aspect of each plan and insurance package. She made sure that we were happy with everything not to mention that she’s so fun and hilarious. Every single person we interacted with was just wonderful and made us feel like family. And for my money, I’m happy it goes to supporting this community they’ve built. They are a real resource for the motorcycle community. Big lew you made me feel like family. This was my first time buying a Harley and you made the whole experience fun and relaxed. He wasn’t pushy or dishonest. He was up front about pricing and fully transparent. Such a great atmosphere, if you love Harleys and the Harley Davidson culture this place is for you. FYI ! Be prepared to spend money, everything is expensive, everything ! The staff is extremely attentive and they will pamper you when they know you’re gonna make a big purchase. The service department seems to be backed up, you can never get anything done on the same day, no matter how small the task.

I took my course with this professional team this October, it was an incredible experience, very experienced in the area, it shows that they have years dedicated to education for new and experienced riders. In my opinion it is worth it for people starting to ride a motorcycle and for experienced people looking to get their license safely. In my case I already had experience riding a motorcycle in other countries and even so I felt that I did not know anything at the time of starting the course because of all the techniques and safety that were needed.

I had some trouble with some heated gear equipment and they went out of their way to figure out the best solution and a fix for my problem. Some stores might not have helped since it was a difficult warranty issue, BUT these 3 angels didn't hesitate to help out my wife and I. Since Covid19 has hurt retail so hard, we usually prefer to support our local businesses as much as possible and this visit to Bergen County Harley-Davidson proved that it was well worth the visit to their store. Very friendly sales staff. Worked with Rose for my most recent purchase and Lisa for my first bike, both were great. The biggest complaint you might see on here is for service, but after stressing my concerns and complaints to the service department it was explained to me why there can be appts booked so far out, and why parts are on back order. One thing to remember is that unlike the auto industry, motorcycles have a busy season....so when its riding season it's always going to be swamped. One thing I can say is that if you express your concerns to the staff, they will work with you and do their best to help. At the end of the day, they are just doing their best to service thousands of clients, and on the customer side it's easy to forget that sometimes. The folks at Bergen Harley definitely care about the customer’s experience and it shows.

How about this on a saddle up Saturday ride... My bike broke down and the service department sent the truck out to make sure l got back safely. When I got back to the dealer, they put my bike in for immediate repair and the service manager Ed had my bike fixed properly 100%. The course was very informative and gave me an understanding of motorcycle safety and allowed me to gain important riding skills like maneuvering, swerving, and quick stopping. Diane, the class coordinator, was extremely accommodating to my schedule. After passing the course (!) I went back for more information on finding the perfect bike for me. Justin, one of the sale reps, took me around the entire showroom and helped me find out exactly what kind of bike would fit me. If you have any interest in motorcycles and want to get into it, Bergen Harley is the best starting point. Go there on a weekend and check out one of their BBQ's for all the riders that pass by. On the course, i don`t even know where to begin! If you are new to riding, or haven't ridden in a long time, take this course! To those that complain about how much it costs to get your bike fixed here. The solution is simple: Don't own a Harley Period. Anywhere you go you will pay a lot. Thought of sharing my experience so far here at Bergen Harley…. So far it is has been a great experience The class has been awesome, learned a lot even after many years of riding. Some things are were eye opener. Paul and John has been fantastic at the range; I enjoyed; they both are very supporting coach and have helped everyone in what they need with patience; it was impressive to say the least! Farnando and Paul has been great in the class. It was 3 days but seems that it gave enough time to understand them and make a deeper connection with the class and coaches. Today I had been with Justine. He is very kind and patient - He made me sit on many bikes and clarified some of the things that I might have not noticed without experiencing it. Then I have a great time with DB (can’t recall the name) a lady that spent couple of hours with me trying to get me a helmet - I had a try many to get a good one that works for me. Eventually I did manage to find out. Jacket was the first one that I tried and it fit well. I decided to buy them today. She was great, she helped me quite a bit. Now not so good experience when it came to cash register. Last time I was there I bought couple of things but I didn’t carry my coupon so lady on the counter mentioned that they will apply the discount once I present them the coupon next time. The purchases are registered in the computer so they have the records, I believed and I trusted the conversation; thought was discussing this matter when I really purchase the major items - which was today - helmet and jacket cost was $850 - so wished to have a discount and I thought it was 15% but I think I was mistaken. DB (Lady) mentioned that I should consider buying MPV $99 lifetime membership for 30+ minutes - she could talk to someone to raise a one time discount to 18% or even 20% today; I said, I can give it a try. Then another lady came said, that they don’t even discount 15% with MVP - it should be no more than 11% - then everyone who came to help DB - talked different %, I was getting confused so as DB (lady) - other lady came said that she shouldn’t discount etc.I was getting late and confused - so I cancelled my plans for MVP purchase and just decided to get my today’s purchase without that 15% discount and call it day! As soon as I said, I don’t want MVP - DB really got really upset and tore the form and threw it on the counter! Looked like she was throwing a tantrum; very unwarranted, started blabbering and such; First thought crossed my mind that I should just walk out and not go ahead with a deal at all!!! BUT I considered her time with me and chose to remain calm, so I paid my dues and walked off with my purchase; She kept saying that I’m making a mistake, it just for $36 - that I can’t go ahead and buy an MVP - so and so… I ignored most of that blabber as I was getting late and didn’t want to lose my temper. But I can’t let this behavior slide. Hence I’m raising this unprofessional behavior that seemed pushy and disrespectful (alas only at the end - whats up with this MVP?) and certainly not at Harley where you are trying to sell an experience, create a family and respectful atmosphere and not just sell a bike! I hope you will take this matter with management and address it. Please confirm. At the end, I’m very pleased with entire 2 months we have been in touch - just that last 15 minutes of experience about the MVP really leaving the sour, aweful feeling in my mind.

So, I am a new Harley owner. TJ at parts was my "greeter" to Bergen Harley. He is always welcoming friendly and knowledgeable (even though I was asking questions about my Vrod). He roped me in (I even bought some "Shiney Chrome Skulls" on his recommendation), and was on my way to becoming a typical Harley owner. I could never understand the "hype" around all the merchandise sale (from people who mostly don't ride}. Then I had to buy some new riding gear (ok, maybe a t-shirt too). As TJ signed me up as an MVP member, I was passed off to Sonia and Lisa K..... Now I understand the "hype". The customer service and knowledge of the products was simply phenomenal!!! Lisa helped my girlfriend find exactly what she needed with absolutely perfect recommendations, honest and knowledgeable feedback and information, and without an ounce of pressure. Simultaneously, Sonia helped me with my own purchase. I was astonished at how she knew exactly what she had in inventory, what was available, and what would be best for me; right down to which shirt ran small and which ones were going to be fine. Then I chose one, and she thought for a split second, said, "wait a minute", and brought me to the clearance rack where she knew she had hung shirts that were exactly what I was about to pay full price for!!! I could not tell you the last time that I have experienced this quality of customer service!!! Oh, I almost forgot, the jacked that Sonia ordered for me in my size, that was to arrive in 5-7 business days.... before we were done, she had someone coming back from another store where they had picked up my riding jacket. I received it the same day before closing...on a SATURDAY!!!! As a side note, I go to the store without wearing a full Harley wardrobe, I don't look like a "biker" or a wealthy Bergen County Harley owner, I didn't buy my bike from Bergen Harley, and I've even come in carrying full face non-Harley helmets, and I'm always treated like I've been shopping here forever!! Other than there not being enough Vrods on the premises, everything and EVERYONE at Bergen Harley could not have done a single thing to be more helpful, knowledgeable, and friendly!!!!

Dropped my bike off for service three weeks ago and it "slipped through the cracks". Jumped on it that day so that I could pick it up which was nice, but they charged me $215 to look at the bike and do an oil change, even after they dropped the ball for weeks and not fix anything... Nothing was fixed, so essentially an oil change for that price is robbery.

First off I would like to take the time and thank BC-HD for going above and beyond to help me with purchasing my first HD motorcycle. I first learned of this dealer when I was on the hunt to take a riders course. The first person I meet at the dealership was Diana what a amazing person she made signing up for the course, and understand how it works a breeze. The Next interaction I had was the actual course it's self which I feel Is very well laid out not only do you take the course but you get a tour of the dealership and get to interact with each department. So now the fun part started the course itself I was very nervous as this is my first time ever being on a motorcycle but Ed my instructor made it painless, informative, and fun. Once I completed the course and passed I came back to meet with Justin for a fitting. A fitting is when you come in and get to sit on every type of HD they have available so you can get a feel and see what are your likes and dislikes. The fitting also helps with understanding what you should look for when buying a bike and understand if your going to be a daily rider or a weekend worrier. At no point during the fitting was a pressured into getting a Bike or felt like any of it was a giant sales pitch. But I knew I wanted a bike and then a seen her 750 sport custom what a piece of art. After the fitting I knew I wanted to know more about the bike and came back Saturday to work on numbers and see if this was something I can afford. I must say this part is normally when you can tell what kind of dealership your dealing with were if it was all about making a sale or a forever customer. I walked in and gave them the numbers I needed to stay in and with some back and forth and help from one of the big guys ( Glen ) the sale was made in my budget and hassle free I'm sure having good credit helped on both ends but they lowered the price on the Bike just to make it happen. Normally this is were they tell you oh you want your payment to be X amount we need this much down to make it happen but that didn't happen here they took from profit just to get the monthly payment were i needed. Now comes a helmet and I must say the merchandise department is amazing I spent over a 3 visit back and forth from the dealer to pick the right helmet and everytime I never felt pressured or hassled. shoutout to Jessica for her amazing customer service everytime. Now once more as a mention before I'm a first time rider and as everyone told me everyone falls atleast once and yes this is a very fair and correct statement to make. So now I get to meet the service department which was not the way I wanted to meet them ( was hoping only time I would is for service) but this is were I'm at and waiting to see how bad was the drop. So far everyone has been great and very willing to help and answer any questions I have. I will update my review once I'm done with the service and repairs on the bike and give a overall since a literally have delt with ever department. As for now you have my 5 star review its up to BC-HD to keep it.

I'm from Brazil, and I was in Manhattan for just one week, looking for a Harley store around. I compared the comments on Google about three stores: Manhattan, Queens and Bergen. The comments about Bergen was far way the best, so I took my chances: rented a car and headed to Rochelle Park, with my family (my wife wanted to shop at Woodbury outlet). And it was the best decision: the store is PERFECT! I found everything that I was looking for, and more! Prices even lower than the virtual store, great variety, and for me the most important: they treated me like an old friend! As you can see, I don't speak English very well (I try...) but Lisa K. was very patient, showed us all options, promotions, no rush: she really enjoy her work, and that's not so easy to find this days. Brazilians love to go shopping at the Woodbury outlet, so, if you love Harley Davidson, I suggest: set your Waze to Essex Street before, it's on the rout! Thank you Lisa, hope to see u again!

Jessica rocks!!!! My significant other purchased a set of PackTalk headsets and installed on my Schuberth helmet. While installing he accidentally broke two pins. I have been going to Bergen Harley since 2005 and have always had great customer service experience. Anyhow on this visit we were looking at the new Schuberth helmet when Jessica came by to see if we needed any assistance. We did not know that Bergen Harley was an authorized Schuberth dealer. Jessica was extremely helpful and took time with us to explain what needed to be done to repair the helmet. Jessica ordered the necessary pins from Schuberth, called me when they came in and when I came in Jessica took the time to fix the helmet for me. Jessica knows the Schuberth helmet inside and out, she also was able to reassemble the wires of the PackTalk and I no longer have problems. Thank You Jessica! I have purchased eight Harleys. I got seven of them from Bergen Harley. The people in every department ( sales, service, parts, motorclothes, finance, insurance) are experts. If they don't know the answer to a question they will find it for you. I go to the dealer to relax. The ladies in the motorclothes department give an honest and straight forward opinion on what looks best on each customer. Usually an initial purchase of a motor vehicle is done based on the relationship with the salesman. If a customer returns (or doesn't), it is because of the relationship with the service department. Again, I got seven Harleys from Bergen. You become part of the family at Bergen Harley.

We purchased the schubert helmets from bergen harley and Jessica was a big help. We went there to try them on and we were going to order them online. Jessica proceeded to tell us that she is certified from the company and she would install the communication system and go over how it works.So my husband and I bought them from here. We had some issues we could not get them to work properly.I called Jessica and told her we are leaving for Florida on Thursday morning and need them to work. We went to harley on Tuesday night and she got Schubert on the phone and stayed late to help us then she had the guy from the company call us on Wednesday afternoon and go over the units to check every function out.
