I just picked up my GT650 from Locomotion Powersports. It was the bikes first service. Matt, Rich and Adam, they were not just professional and very friendly, but they welcome my family and I very nicely. Great communication in regards to the work they did on my bike. The bike felt nice on the road and it’s ready for the spring and the summer. My trip from NYC was well worth it and well invested. Because I feel that their work was top quality, they made me feel confident and secure when I was riding back home. For sure, I will come back again and I HIGHLY recommend this place to all of you, if you need service or want to buy one. Remember their names, Rich and Matt. Thank you guys!

I just picked up my 2022 Royal Enfied Classic 350 from them. This is my second time buying from Locomotion and they continue to have excellent customer service. I purchased a 2014 triumph rocket 3 touring from them. Big shoutout to frank for all the help. Also the rest of the team were very helpful and willing to work with me and help me out. I live in California and due to the pandemic at the moment shipping was a little troublesome yet they stayed in contact and let me know what was going on. Overall a very good experience and if I buy a bike again and they have the one I am looking for I would absolutely use them again.

MY VERY LATE REVIEW (Sorry Locomotion team!) I bought my first bike in many years, last year in November at Locomotion Powersports. It was great experience from the start, right from the moment I walked through the door where I was immediately greeted. Lloyd (sales) was extremely helpful and patient with my many questions. He steered me towards the bike I would be most happy with, given my requirements. Despite supplies issues, the delivery was fairly prompt. Patrick was great in taking care of all the paperwork and offering optional coverage which I did not feel pressured into. I was also helped with insurance (by Rob?, sorry I can't remember for sure) and he set me up with a great quote. I also ended up getting a helmet and pair of boots and both Angela and Mike in the parts department were extremely helpful and patient as well. I managed to get my first service done before storing the bike for winter. The person in the service department was very professional and explained all the work that was done on the bike . I'm a now a very happy owner of broken in, serviced Royal Enfield INT 650 right at the beginning of the season when it's so hard to get hands on a bike because of demand. I have been commuting on my bike almost daily since mid-March and it's been faultless. Thank you again to entire team for amazing experience and I cannot wait to stop by and say hello soon! I very highly recommend Locomotion to anyone looking at a nice bike that maybe is little more niche than everything else out there.

I bought a Polaris Sportsman Touring quad here a few years back and had a great experience. My dad was interested in buying a Polaris Ranger, so I knew exactly where to take him. We ordered during the covid supply chain issues, so it took a while to get here. They warned us of this from the beginning, and we went ahead with the order. I recently purchased a 2020 Polaris sportsman 450 HO EPS with a winch. I was out with my little man shopping around and wasn’t planning on buying anything but between Johnny our salesman and Frank the owner treated us so great and gave us a deal that I just couldn’t say no!! The guys at this dealership are outstanding! We bought the machine from another dealer on spur of the moment. the machine was password locked and couldn’t be used. I called Locomotion Powersports and they got the machine in immediately with zero wait and no charge. Called multiple dealers before they were recommended to me through a friend and the other dealers wanted $250 plus and would have to drop the machine off for couple days. I pulled up unloading and within 5 mins the machine was good to go, Amazing group of guys will have my business for life!

Matt in service is a legend. My buddy passed away and his bike was sitting in the garage for a long while. Matt and the service team picked up the bike and prepped it for our buddy’s brother. The bike was fully serviced (fluids, all systems check) and got a new battery and they even cleaned it up. The bike looked and rode like a dream. I have been a loyal customer with Locomotion since 2015 and I must say, that my salesman Frank, Matt in Service, Angela in Parts, and the whole Locomotion crew there are the best customer service crew I’ve experienced yet. From my first 2013 Triumph Street Triple, to my new 2018 Street Triple 765 R, they have made the ownership experience a pleasure. When my 18’ Street Triple was stolen and recovered an hour later, the whole staff got me back on the road quickly and repaired all the damage done beautifully. I would highly recommend them over any other dealership! Oh and by the way, thankfully my Triumph had an anti-theft ignition key chip, otherwise I would have lost her!

I bought a new Bonneville Bobber Chrome Edition from here and the entire purchasing process was very good. Leo (sales) was very helpful in acquiring this limited edition motorcycle for me. He acted quickly before the launch of the bike and was able to talk to Triumph and secure a unit for me. And he kept me informed throughout the process. Frank (manager) worked with me to get me a great deal on my trade in motorcycle. The day of delivery was very smooth and almost everything was done in advance and I was done with paperwork in less than 30 mins. They guaranteed their pre-owned motorcycles have 30 days warranty, and they promised the warranty when my Guzzi had an issue on electronic on the side of road, then delievered my bike to my site while the Guzzi had already been fixed. I have been to many shops that I did not want to give my business to not the case with Locomotion Powersports. I came across Locomotion Powersports. I needed service done on my Honda CB1000R and could not be happier with the service department. Very fairly priced. They took the time to answer all my questions involving the work that needed to be done and after work was completed explained and showed me everything. They answered any question I had. Very respectful knowledgeable service department. I was treated with respect as a business should. They also have a showroom floor with lots of stuff. I looked around and again any questions I had got answered. Very well run respectful business. Great people running it. This will always be my go to place for service as well as purchasing. This place is a hidden gem IMO. I’ve lived in the same town but had not visited them for 5 years. I was on my way for a trip to Quebec when I saw a problem with my bike - I called them and they didn’t even hesitate. I rode my bike to them, and they mounted it right up, checked it out, and prevented my trip from being cancelled! When I got back, I took my Goldwing to them for service - they are very accommodating and set expectations on when they think they can get to it. Everyone on the floor, from sales to service are a pleasure to talk to. They are not just sales people and mechanics - they are riders! And they appreciate the riding community.

In a quest for more power went on a hunt for an RSV4. One of those Trader websites had a bunch. Saw a good looking RSV4 reasonably priced. Must have been meant for me cause it was at the same place as my first bike. Same great customer service and experience. Now I have 2 bikes to love. (3 months overdue review) I have no ides where to start... if you want the nutshell version, the team at Locomotion Power Sports are beyond FANTASTIC and I would not hesitate recommending them to you reading this review or anyone else. The long version; bought my first bike - I was (as many of us are) not sure of what to get so was looking at a Yamaha V-Star or a Royal Enfield Meteor 350 and others... Frank and Leo guided me and provided their suggestions but were absolutely in no way pressuring or pushy; I told them that I was still on the fence and just browsing for now and their response was literally "hey, no pressure, take your time and we are here if you have any questions or when you are ready". I headed out and returned to purchasing a bike until a month later (in the interim, I only got 1 phone call as a follow-up and I mentioned that I'll be back when I am ready and that's all I had to say and they honored it). So when it came time to purchase, I basically did it via texting with Leo and he got everything done for me super easily... then they called me and we agreed on pick up date and signing of paperwork... Patrick is the guy that handles the paperwork... like the rest of the team, absolutely great guy to work with... unlike most-to-all dealerships, he really just brushes over the additional options you can get but in absolutely no way is pushy about any of it nor does he drag on the topics any further etc... then Rob helped me out with setting the insurance and got me a great quote... Angela and Mike on parts are absolutely great to talk to and get guidance on anything from parts to gear (also, very laid back, no pressure, no pushy sales at any given points I dealt with any of the team)... Met and dealt with Matt on servicing my motorcycle... fantastic guy also... Please do not get me wrong, the laid back professionalism of the entire team is not that of people that do not care to get your business... on the contrary, they genuinely care but just understand that being pushy about closing sales and meeting numbers is by no way a good method to run a business or gain customers. They go above and beyond in helping/assisting in any way they can... you could not wish for a better dealership to work with to be honest and I am definitely sticking with them for all servicing, parts and hopefully future motorcycle upgrade and/or 2nd bike ;) So thank you Frank, Leo, Patrick, Rob, Matt, Angela & Mike... Sorry if I missed anyone else I may have come across in the Locomotion Power Sports team... just as an indicator, I am usually horrible with remembering names, but you guys sure left a great impression - worth remembering :D

What a great experience, usually I hate sales ppl but these guys do it right. Recently bought a Harley Davidson from them and they made it painless. I liked that my salesman Leo was responsive via their text message system as I was getting all the paper work rdy last week from my bank. Locomotion Powersports is an excellent company with knowledgeable people that cater to everyone. I contacted them last month looking for some type of utility vehicle to plow my very long driveway. I first spoke with Lloyd Dorfman, one of their Sales Specialist who listened to what I was looking for and described some options. Having done a little research but not knowing much about utility vehicles, I was very pleased with how Lloyd helped me thru the selection and described various options. There was no "mansplaining" or sales pressure - just good information and follow-up. After pursuing an ATV option, Lloyd then called to tell me they had a Polaris Ranger in stock that might fit my needs. I went to their showroom where I was greeted warmly by Lloyd and the Sales Manager, Frank Crimeni. I was able to see the vehicle and even test drive it in the parking lot. They explained the capabilities and mechanics and made me feel comfortable with this as the right choice. I purchased the Polaris Ranger 500 which was delivered to my home. The driver also went over a few things to remember and a few maintenance points. The first time out was a recent snowstorm where we got a foot of snow! The vehicle performed very well - even better than expected. Thank you Lloyd & Frank and the Locomotion Powersports team! Additional comments - Dec 2022. Locomotion Powersports also has an excellent service department! My service rep Matt immediately had my plow picked up for annual maintenance and returned within days! Just purchased a used 18' Street Triple R. I went in looking at a used 2020 BMW f900r and left with the triumph. This wasn't due to persuasion or anything other than Rich dealing with my 100 questions on every bike in the showroom. From start to finish, everyone in the shop made my life easy, from Rich dealing with me to Frank dealing with me negotiating over pennies. Couldn't be happier with my decision to come here even though its over an hour from my house. So far the only dealership in NJ which went out of my way to make me feel like a valued customer before purchasing a bike. Maybe this is due to the current influx in prices and lack of inventory, but all other dealerships I went to wouldn't didnt want to deal with my questions (other than salesman Dustin from Cross Country Cycle who is awesome).

After that I was introduced to Patrick and we did some paperwork, went through some warranty options etc. Again, never felt pressured to do anything. He explained what he recommended and why he recommended it. Any and all questions I asked were answered and then some. Lastly I met Rob, where we again did some paperwork for insurance, which was definitely a below average price, for where we are located. I then put down a deposit, left and sent in some necessary paperwork, woke up the next day, got a check, brought it back to the store and boom, I got to take the bike home that day. Totally painless process, and nice to learn new things along the way. Thank you all for your help, in what could have been an otherwise horrible process!

I believe my review is the one that should be read. I’m coming from 2 other certified slingshot dealerships and the service was far from what I wanted. Instead to mention their names I’ll praise Locomotion Powersports. My bike will not go anywhere else. I had my bike sit at a place for Weeks and then telling me they are looking at it. I met Matt on phone at powersports and he got me right in for an appointment. My bike shook like crazy and I didn’t know why and neither did the other 2 places. Matt looked at bike in 4 secs said I need wheel alignment and tires. Fast forward and my bike is now perfect again. I’m so mad at the other 2 places who took my money but at least I found a place I can trust and I even gave them a bottle of wine. I recently bought an Interceptor-650 from Locomotion Powersports! The entire experience was great! Since I live over an hour away, my salesman Lloyd was very helpful in providing me with updates, a clear timeline, and worked with me on making the entire process extremely smooth. Patrick, the Finance officer, was extremely helpful and informative when it came to discussing payments, warranties, and other additional information. As a first time rider, bike-owner, and motorcycle customer, Lloyd, Patrick, and Frank the Sales Manager all helped me throughout the process immensely! All were very passionate about helping me be comfortable as a beginner and I could clearly see how passionate they were about motorcycles. When purchasing my motorcycle, I decided to purchase some crash bars (I strongly recommend it) and worked with Angela, the products manager. Angela was extremely helpful and knowledgeable about the different parts available and options for my specific situation. Locomotion Powersports also delivered my motorcycle a week later! Sheldon, the service technician who delivered my bike, was extremely helpful as well! Cons: One thing I did find a little disappointing was the exterior of the engine. I was told that the bike would be cleaned up before it was sent to me but unfortunately, the chrome engine was very dirty with stains and dust everywhere. I found some small scratches on the chrome surface and some scuffs on the controls/rear brake lights. I can attribute the scuffs to the bike being transported in a crate from India but the engine cosmetics were disheartening (which is why this is a 4/5 review sadly.) All in all, positive experience.

Because of the excellent service I have received from Matt and the service team, I started talking to Carmine when I was considering a new bike. I have never been there so I texted them to see if they could look at my Kodiak with a starting problem. They got right back to me so I brought it in. I had just gotten a brand new battery so I was worried it may be the starter. Matt immediately tested my battery and although new, if didn't have the cca my machine needed. He had a better battery there, installed it in 5 minutes and it started right up. I can now return the weaker battery. I was probably in and out in 40 minutes with a machine that now works. They even made a couple of minor adjustments I hadn't even noticed. Really friendly environment, and well-kept premises. Great experience with my new 2018 Triumph Bonneville Bobber Black from Locomotion! This was my first actual motorcycle "purchase", and I really wasn't looking forward to the "process". Great experience! When I got my license and was looking around for my first moto I visited shops all around NJ and NY, Locomotion being one of them. I didnt end up buying from them at the time because I wasn't ready to buy new yet. I ended up getting a beater that got the job done. A year into riding and countless repairs later, i was ready to buy new. Locomotion always stuck in the back of my mind becuase they had a great selection, and that first visit was very pleasant. No high pressure sales and they didn't make me feel like a noob (which I totally was). Same can't be said for other shops i visited. I didnt even visit other shops this time. I went straight there and put a deposit on a new Triumph. Again, they didnt try talking me into the most expensive one. I have been looking to upgrade from my first bike for a while now, when I found a really clean 2010 triumph street triple at locomotion I was very excited. I called and spoke to Lloyd who was very helpful and gave me all the information about the bike, also I wanted to trade in my old bike which he was able to give me a fair trade estimate over the phone. When I got there I was greeted at the door by Frank, Lloyd, and his staff, the bike was at the front and was up front and ready to go, it was everything that was promised and then some. Well I was waiting to complete some paper work there where a few customers that walked through the dealership every one that came in was given the full attention of the staff, not like at other dealers,*cough motorcycle mall*, where if your not a serious buyer they avoid you like the plague. Purchasing a motorcycle is an extremely personal experience. But let's face it. By the time we get to the dealer most of us know what we want pretty much down to farkles and colors. What are the true defining elements of where we choose to buy our two-wheeled happy-makers? The Staff and the Service Department. The staff at a great dealer makes you feel welcome to explore, checks in on you, tells you about some deals and then lets you do the kid in a candy shop. A great staff is there to make sure you get what you want as easily as possible. A crummy staff is a group of vultures hoping to push you up to a more expensive model, push stuff onto you that you don't need and generally don't even remember your name from minute to minute. The service department is the biker's best friend. NOBODY wants to be without their bike for long, nor feel like the staff doesn't care about getting you in and out as quickly as possible. When I wanted to buy a Royal Enfield I searched around but lucky for me my buddy had already gone to Locomotion Powersports. I went to check out the place...met some of the staff and thoroughly enjoyed the place. Here's the key...I had no idea, my first trip there, if I was talking to the owner, a manager, a salesperson, the finance person, service or parts. That was an amazing distinction from the BIIIIG motorcycle place that everyone's been to in Belleville. You are in a dealership of riders and genuinely great people. You fall in and out of conversations about bikes and life and rides and whether you buy or not they are all smiles. I made my second trip and intended to purchase an RE Classic 350 but spotted a more expensive Meteor 350. Nobody pushed it on me... They mentioned it but I asked about it and got the info. I bought that one. They did an amazing job on the numbers for my trade in and nobody forced any warranties or deals on me. They mentioned stuff and never tried to talk me out of my decisions. I took the bike in for service. There was no hassle. Drop it off and come back. Drop it off and wait. You're x number in line. They were efficient. Helpful. And looked like they loved what they were doing. Hanging out with the other riders waiting was a pleasant experience...all chatting bikes and rides without any pressure to move or buy from the store. If you're looking for a non-dealership, personal experience when buying your motorcycle go to Locomotion Powersports. You will NOT be disappointed. If you want to feel like a customer. You know where to go.

Edit since it would not let me add another separate review I have to edit this one now that I have purchased two bikes from this location. 1st bike Oct 2018: Frank and Patrick were both extremely helpful with my purchase. I will admit at first I was a bit put off by being shuffled out the door, but in their defense they were short staffed that day and Frank was good about getting back to me via email and answering my questions. The staff here does go out of the way to treat you excellent whether you are purchasing a 2,000 or a 30,000 dollar bike; I have been riding cruisers most of my life so Frank going out of the way to explain to me some of the key features on an adventure bike I was purchasing was appreciate. So all in all I highly recommend Locomotion Powersports, in my mind it was worth the 35 min drive to get a good deal and find the exact bike I really wanted. 2nd bike April 2019: So this was my second motorcycle from Locomotion Powersports, and as always the process was smooth and easy. Frank Crimeni is easy to work with, and very accommodating to my busy schedule. It was nice to be able to get everything set up via email, the web, and phone. All I had to do at that point was walk in on Sat test ride a few bikes and pick which one I wanted to take home. But let’s get down to it, Frank, and Patrick are kind of like the original Road Warriors from the olds days of the WWF, the animal and hawk of that location, larger than life dudes who you can tell still love to ride every chance they get. Which is important, because who wants to buy a bike from someone who has never ridden. I highly recommend this location, and I would suggest you stop reading this review and give Frank a call.

The selection of Triumph, Royal Enfield, and Victory bikes are nice. They are all brand new though, so don't go looking for a used bike. We went here to find parts for my boyfriend's Triumph and while they were helpful enough (and very nice) when we went into the store, he had a totally different experience on the phone as he was told to follow up. The person was extremely rude and wouldn't quote him on a brake job and was condescending when the term "brake job" was used--as if that is not a general term when speaking to a mechanic to get brakes done.

I'm not sure what the last guy was talking about in his review. My experience was the total opposite and consisted of repairs to my Sportsman. My ATV had a weird ignition issue that would cut the motor after hard riding. This was diagnosed in a reasonable amount of time and Adam communicated the cause, solution and was able to warranty the culprit which resulted in a couple dollar savings, very professional and service turnaround was excellent. I highly recommend Adam and his service team to repair your recreational vehicles. Oh and Frank in Sales is awesome too! Thanks Locomotion!!!

Locomotion is my only go to when it comes to power sports. I’ve bought a 850 sportsman highlighter,570 sportsman sp and a rzr900s. Carmine and Patrick are the most honest and friendly people any questions or concerns I had they where the first ones on it. Nobody pushes you to buy anything you ask about a machine and get prices and that’s it no nagging like other places. I’ve always had a great experience.
