Employees are very friendly and knowledgeable. Mr. Louis and Nick provide great customer service. I recently purchased a helmet at the location and after minimal use I realized that the face shield seal adhesive was coming unglued. I asked employees if they offered an adhesive product so that I could try to fix it myself. After showing them what I was talking about I was quickly informed that It was covered under warranty and had a new helmet shipped and exchanged for me within 2 days. 6 stars!

Was looking for a new full face helmet preferably a modular Larry was knowledgeable about features and sizes very helpful guy no pressure just good information. They have a very large selection of helmets More than any shop I’ve been to lately. I tried on about 10 helmets and ended up choosing a modular Sedici had all the features I was looking for drop down sunshade even had a Bluetooth headset built in which wasn’t on my must have list as I have a Sena headset already which I planned on moving to the new helmet but now I don’t have to Thanks you Larry and Cycle gear

Customer service was five star for the simple fact that I didn't have to wait at all to get help finding a helmet the employee simply acknowledge my need for assistance what was important to me in a helmet and what I was looking for and made a recommendation and it was spot on the helmet fit perfect and I also purchased Spike studded bolts for my windshield and a mount for a bag that attached to my guessing and the employee there that was so cool gave me a bag that match the mount for free because he was not using it anymore I was so stoked this was the best experience I've ever had in any cycle shop or for that matter the best customer service I've ever received EVER!

Speaking of helmets they have a fantastic selection to choose from. The staff at this business are incredibly friendly and helpful. I needed a new mirror for my bike and I didn’t know what size fitting I needed. Lewis asked if he could help and I told him this. He said that’s no problem cause we’ll take the one you want out the box and see if it fits. I said really? Well he grabbed some tools and in a few minutes I had a new mirror. This time unlike other times at this particular location in the past was pleasant. I was greeted and asked if I needed any help finding anything immediately. The gentleman working the counter was the only (or appeared to be) working in the store the morning I was shopping. I found what I needed and looked around to see what else I could find to finish my project. Upon checking out I was treated well and asked if there was anything else I needed and had a nice chat then finished up.

Been going here for about 3 years now purchasing riding gear and little things here and there for my bike. Customer service from the staff has always been on point and they are knowledgeable about their inventory. Here is a particular case of exceptional customer service from staff here that has prompted me to write this review. I purchased a very expensive jacket 3 years ago. Someone hit me at an intersection a few weeks ago and I needed a receipt in order to receive compensation for the jacket. I could not find a physical receipt on hand so I took a long shot and called the store just to see if they had any of my purchase history. Well, Nick answered the phone, happily checked but couldn't find my item without a proper date of purchase, of which I knew not. He told me he would look into it and get back to me. Sadly, I thought it was a lost cause. About an hour later, I receive word from Nick, he had diligently combed through past purchases based on the size and type of jacket, found my receipt, and was in the process of sending it to me via email. Elated fails to describe my emotional disposition at that moment. Nick, you are a paragon of fortitude and excellence. A hero, as it were. It has been said that no matter how well built a wall is it will fall if the individual bricks are no good. A metaphor indeed that society can only thrive if its individual constituents are virtuous or at least pursuing virtue. Well Nick, you are certainly doing your part. For your family, for you company, for your community, and country. For the world. You have shown yourself exceedingly suffused in fortitude and excellence and selflessness. Perhaps you deserve a raise for elevating the reputation of this Cycle Gear location from "a motorcycle gear store" to "Cycle Gear, a place- No! A community that feels like home. A place where I enter with want, with need; but come out filled. Made whole. Materially yes, but also, in a deeper way, spiritually." As Dido said in her late nineties smash hit... thank you. To you and all the staff. My good people who happen to read this review in search of truth, these are now some of the things I think of when I often pass this quaint little bike shop on Carrolton. Mr. Lewis was super helpful. I think I was in the store for all of five minutes. I walked in and told him I was looking for some gloves for a 2 kids who rides 4 wheelers and the next thing you know I was walking out with mesh body armor! Yes service was very good and prompt but the only bad thing I’m leaving with is that I was missed quoted on the price of my helmet when the salesman suited me with the helmet and guided me to the right size I asked him what the price was and he quoted $40 when I came back that salesman was gone and another salesman rang me up and my total was a whopping $65 I’m not happy with that I did not question it but I figured the man had made a mistake that is the owner

I'm conflicted. I bought a helmet here, no big savings or anything, average price. They have a nice selection of apparel and gear, tires etc and it looks well organized. It's nice to be able to see a spot where you can physically lay hands on gear that you might want rather than having to buy online sight unseen. Both salespeople were friendly but the guy I was dealing with seemed like he was rushing me along. I made my helmet selection and just wanted to browse around because there was so much to take in. I tried on some riding jeans but the fit was not correct for my short self and he seemed to take it personally when I passed on them. I'm sure he thought he was doing his job and being helpful but I dont like being followed around when I just wanted to look. I probably would have bought some more items but I ended up just paying for the helmet and leaving. I kinda wish I had been dealing with the other salesperson. I'm sure I'll return in the future but my initial visit put me off.

Extremely helpful and patient for a new rider looking to buy a helmet for the MSF. They were more concerned with educating and helping me select the best fit than trying to sell the priciest or most gear. The three guys there all recommended I buy only the helmet now and return later for the rest, so I could use the MSF discount.

Great shop, friendly service. Lots of gear. I am a large guy and have trouble finding riding gloves that fit well. They had severe pairs of XXXL that fit great, so I bought two pair! Good prices as far as I could tell. Recommend and would go back next time I’m in town.
