Amazing place. Was traveling through town last week with a group on our annual trip, and had a cupped front tire. Dan and his support team said they had a tire and would be able to get it changed and back the same day. I dropped off the bike and they were able to get it right away and got me back out within two hours. Amazing place with incredible service. Stop by if you need anything and are in the area. Can't thank them enough.

I have owned a motorcycle for four years and counting. When I got my license and purchased my bike, I knew few people within the community but endeavored to learn what I could about basic maintenance such that I could save a few bucks where oil/filter changes and winterization were concerned. I bought parts from roadside marine and found the staff knowledgeable and helpful to that end. I'd inquire about one product or another, we'd get to chatting about what would be entailed for me to do this or that on my own, and I always felt they were generous with their time and expertise. Aside from inspections, that was the extent of my business with them. Until recently. Among other things, my bike was due for new tires and a brake job. I had been pondering an upgrade, and had predetermined a threshold of spending, beyond which I would decide "it's not worth it. Time to sell this thing." Dan in particular was very helpful and receptive to my position. I rode up and without any scheduled appointment asked him a few questions. He was kind enough to come out and take a look at my bike with me and field all questions. He quoted just below my predetermined and undisclosed hard line. Not only that, but he and his team came in below the projected cost, AND did a few additional upgrades for me! They finished it all considerably earlier than I had expected too! Highly recommend

I never write reviews like this but after today i thought it was time. This is the best motorcycle shop in the Chittenden county if not the entire state of Vermont. Always helpful, Honest and will bend over backward to help you any way they can. After many years of bringing in my bikes i can not think of one time i walked away not happy with their service.

I purchased a new motorcycle (first) from this store and everyone here was extremely helpful. They were really helpful with deciding which bike to buy (Yamaha R3 2021 in Teal) and with gear recommendations! They were also extremely helpful with helping me get what I needed for gear, as I was going to take the MSF course, and getting a proper helmet fitting. They are extremely honest, reliable and realistic. I will be coming back here eventually when I decide to get another motorcycle or any gear I need in the future!

Purchased my first motorcycle here a few year ago from Chris. The staff here are all very friendly and knowledgeable. I have only had to get a few things done to my bike since I purchased it and the shop here does great work. The mechanic remembered who I was even though he has only seen me a few times. Whether you are buying, selling, or just need to get your bike worked on this is the place to go. I am officially a customer for life.

Bought my motorcycle from these guys and couldn't be happier. Everyone who was working asked if they could help, but never pushed me to buy anything. Very attentive without being over-bearing. Walked in and explained sort of what I was looking for and Chris pointed me in the right direction. Let me look around a little bit on my own which I appreciate without feeling like I was being watched before he came back to answer any questions. Major points for also being honest and letting me know if a bike I was eyeing was not an ideal fit (I'm a bigger guy) instead of trying to sell me something for the quick cash. Roadside had a nice selection and Chris made the buying process virtually hassle-free. Even the gentleman helping me pick out a helmet made sure I was informed of all the choices/criteria they had available. Even got a callback about a week later just to make sure I was happy with my new purchase. Definitely recommend and will be back for any future riding needs.

This shop has the best reputation for both it's sales and it's service department and I agree, it's top rated. Many customers I've spoken to have felt the same way. I will not buy a brand of motorcycle that must be serviced elsewhere because of the lousy reputations at some other places. I won't mention names, but those who have gone to those other places know who I mean. I highly recommend Roadside Motorsports and their service dept.

One of the last, truly Mom and Pop motorcycle dealerships in the world. Roadside is a completely different animal than any other, area motorcycle dealership. They value all motorcycle lovers, not just what brand they happen to ride. They truly couldn't care less if you show up on a Harley-Davidson, Indian, Honda, or Suzuki, even though they are of course, an authorized dealer for both Yamaha and Kawasaki products. They're just happy that you love riding motorcycles as much as they do. They'll happily service all makes of late model motorcycles!!! Their expert parts department, with over 40 years of experience, is truly dedicated to finding customers the best values for their money, period, no matter what the customer rides. They cheerfully match competing internet prices, too! Roadside also stocks basic service wear parts, such as batteries, oil, oil filters, air filters, spark plugs, and tires for virtually any modern motorcycle!!! Yep, they're just as likely to have the correct battery, spark plugs, or oil filter, as your local, authorized dealer, and often are much cheaper, too. As a 25 year veteran motorcycle enthusiast, I can't think of a better dealership to do business with, in our entire state.

On a group ride from out of state, needed new tires on the ZX 14R. These guys are great! Had the tires in stock and got me right in for a swap and back on the road in no time at all and didn’t hike up the prices on me. Discount on the tires and the mount and balance. Terrific service!

We drove over here from Plattsburgh because of the selection and were delighted at the excellent service. Went to get my boyfriend geared up for his new motorcycle, the sales lady was very nice and extremely knowledgeable and really took the time to make sure he got exactly the gear he wanted and that everything fit perfectly. A couple of items we special ordered; ordered them on a Saturday and they were there on Tuesday. We will certainly come here again. They even gave us a discount and matched a competitor's price!

Workers are always helpful along with owner, all good people! Just know the used motorcycle options are a little limited due to space. They do motorcycle maintenance and financing for new bikes. Great little variety for the size of the shop. Check them out! Recommend to anyone, just know the prices are a bit high, but you pay for convenience. They also don't allow people to test ride unless in the process of financing.

We were greeted with a smile by Natasha. She, Chris, Tony and Steve in the sales department could not have been more helpful. Then Mike and Brad in the service department went out of their way to take care of our needs. If I lived local to this shop they would be my go to dealer without question! 👍👍👍👍👍👍👍What a difference in dealerships!!!!! I recently purchased a Polaris Slingshot from a dealer near Albany, NY. Had some issues. I called Polaris and asked if there was another Polaris Dealer that could do warranty work on an open order. Yes there is two close to me in Vermont. Polaris put me through to Roadside Motorsports in Williston. I was on a conference with Mike at Roadside Service Department. We set up an appointment to “FINISH” the warranty work. To my surprise The Polaris Rep asked Mike if he needed anything further and Mike said I Don’t believe so I’ve already put the necessary parts on order. Now that was pretty good I thought. I wanted to take a trip to the dealer before the actual service date. Mostly to see what my instincts were going to tell me. As I walked in I was warmly greeted and asked if I needed assistance with anything. (Never received this in other dealer). I was directed to the service department to meet with Mike. I felt somewhat bad that I sprung a surprise visit. As I could see the service department was EXTREMELY Busy and Mike was assisting a customer that had some sort of electrical issue. Mike was assisting him with installing a battery and setting up the appointment. After wards he came over and we introduced ourselves and he took his time to talk with me. I left feeling good about Roadside doing my Service. When the day Came for Service I dropped my Slingshot off night before and asked if I could pick up on Saturday. “Not a problem” I was told. The day we picked up my Ride, again my wife and I were warmly greeted leaving the impression we weren’t just a dollar sign in their eyes. I then met with Dan in Service. What a 180 degree difference from where I had bought it and had it previously serviced. Dan took the time to go into detail as to what was done and how it was done. He further told me they, not knowing what really had been done with it wanted to check other critical areas. To their surprise they found other numerous things that needed attention. Some were as critical as tightening bolts to specs. 😡. Can’t believe it left the other dealer with this not done. Oh and my BRAKES needed adjustment. Dan and Mike made me feel like I was an extension of a family and not a walking dollar sign. I will definitely be back to Roadside Motorsports. I would like to commend Tony on such a caring team.

Roadside is the rare place where you really do feel like the folks there are your friends. I bought my first bike there back in 1980 or so, and when I got back into motorcycling 12 years ago I began using them for service. The service department is top notch, professional and prices are reasonable. When I needed a new helmet a few years ago I went there and Mary took a lot of time to explain the proper fitment, the differences between manufacturers and how to remove and wash the lining. I've also purchased other motorcycle gear there and they are very easy to do business with. Even though my bike brand is one they don't sell, I have them do all the work they can on it. Roadside is a fantastic Vermont business and I am glad to spend my motorcycle dollars there.

This place is excellent. I went in with little to no knowledge of motorcycle gear hoping to come out ready and equipped for my MSF course the following week. They were able to help me find the best equipment for the price point I set for myself. The woman that was assisting me went out of her way to make sure that I knew what to look for with each piece of protective gear. I would definitely recommend this place to anyone looking to purchase gear. Update: Several years later - Went in to get a new helmet and the same customer service rep was absolutely wonderful to work with. I have a weird head shape, so getting a dual sport helmet was extremely hard. She set me up with a new HJC dual sport helmet that I didn't even know existed and fit perfectly. I still would recommend this place to anyone with gear needs!

Fantastic service at this full-service motorcycle shop. I went in looking for a helmet and found they had a wide selection to try on to find just the right one that fit my head. This is a big difference from another local bike shop that I tried that had only a few helmets, and only cheap ones that were barely worthwhile. And I got a great lesson in how helmets should really fit. I felt safer and more knowledgable walking out of there. This is an experience that you can't replicate buying a helmet over the internet. And to add to the wonderful experience, the helmet I bought was actually cheaper here (including the tax!) than I could have gotten it online. Definitely a top-rated place to go for motorcycles and motorcycle accessories.

Solid family owned dealership. Good folks. Know their business, and are fair to deal with. Love their service and parts departments. Have less experience with the upstairs sales folks, but have not experienced or heard any strong negatives. If in the market for motorcycle stuff, they tend to be my first stop. If I was looking to purchase brandY or brandK (or have any brand serviced - they have worked on my Hondas), they would be my go-to.

Myself and my friend each purchased a motorcycle in mid February of 2023. We went over from NYS because there were no options here. The closest Kawasaki dealers are 1.5 hours away and had no inventory. I felt the experience was good. They still provide the type of customer service that has been going extinct over the past 20 or so. The communication was good, no pressure, no annoying emails and phone calls. They spoke no offensive language, which is rare but much appreciated. The pricing was not negotiable but it was already at a decent price. Financing was quick, as was the purchasing process. At the time of pick up, the shop went over the bike and explained everything very well. This was important especially to my friend who never owed a motorcycle. They helped push the bikes onto our trailer and helped strap down. Too bad Roadside wasn't closer, I think they would do quite well in the Plattsburgh area. The only negative is the drive over and ferry tickets, but that is part of living where we live. That isn't Roadside's fault.
