This was really a one of a kind experience. My mother in-law was in need of a mattress due to the fact that someone stole her prior one. She has gotten a new mattress that was stolen, among other items, from underneath the locked carport during our house renovation over a year ago. Never even had the chance to use it. Rick, met us at the front door of their North East store; greeting I and my wife within a few steps of having entered the establishment. Rick began by asking a few basic questions to understand what we were looking for. The store was well stocked with floor models of their inventory, the store was very clean and organized. Rick was extremely courteous and knowledgeable about the products on display, permitting us to move about the store at our leisure, just standing close enough to us to be available to answer our questions and to proffer any advice we failed to ask. In summary, if you are planning a purchase of a new mattress and you are in the vicinity of N.E. Wichita you would do yourself a great favor by speaking to Rick first…we did.

About a month ago I stopped into Denver Mattress at the Regency Lakes Shopping Center in Wichita, hoping to purchase a new Tempur-Pedic pillow to replace the one that I had used for many years. Rick, the salesman, was great 🙂. He listened to what I wanted and then let me try out a variety of styles without hovering or unnecessary pressure. I appreciated that he was knowledgeable about Tempur-Pedic pillows, available to answer questions as needed, and even related his own personal experience with them. As they did not have one of the style I selected in stock, he called ahead to another store to have them hold one there for me until I could arrive to pick it up. Thanks for another very positive experience to add to the one I had when purchasing a mattress at the west side store almost a year ago 😊.

He was courteous and helpful, and gave me a written list of what we had discussed and the costs - including taxes. When I called back the next day to arrange to come in and pay for my choices and set up a tentative delivery, even though I couldn't set an exact time due to a prior appointment, he told me the next day (Monday) would be fine. I later found out it was his day off. He met me with a smile when I got there and had everything ready for me. He made certain all we has previously discussed was correctly shown. Yesterday I went into the local Denver Mattress in East Wichita. I met Andy the manager who is an invaluable asset to the company as well as the industry. At a time when buying a bed is so easy to do online, I wondered if buying in the store was worth the effort. It was. The service here surpassed any retail experience I’ve encountered in many years. Andy answered all my questions, addressed my concerns, and sold me what I needed, no more, no less. And for the first time in years, I conversed with a person in a retail establishment who appeared to love what they do, value their job, and work with integrity. When I receive my new bed and adjustable base, I will return to review the delivery and set up. And will return again after using the bed for 40-60 days. For now, I’ll just say if you want the right place to buy a bed, shop here for the best service possible.

I really like the way this company treats their customers. I was in mattress firm, mattress hub, Sears, and many other local companies in here (Wichita, KS). Moreover, I searched online to find my best choices. I think from the price aspect this company is a fair company and if it is not the best but I can say it is one of the good ones. The thing that convinced me to buy from them was their return policy. It was amazing compared to other competitors. You can go and read all other policies and compare it to Denver matreess. You have 4 months time to get 100% refund, and after that up to one year you can get a percentages of price. Mostly, all other companies charge you with 15% fee plus pickup cost and it is for 120 days maximum and in the case of mattress firm and mattress hub, you only have the option to exchange not getting any refund. I like their policy, and I am waiting for my mattress and adjustable bed frame.

There was another sales person in the store, I asked if she could maybe get some assistance from him .... finally I went up to him & asked questions .... not much more help. Had a comfortable chat with Andy (hopefully that's how you spell his name), I already had researched our options and was obsessive about choosing that right mattress for us because no one wants to deal with any hassle and I did not have that for our interaction at this retail store. The representative was knowledgeable of the bed line up of the tempurpedics (proadapt/adapt) and allowed us to come to our own conclusions on our own time frames; note that we haven't received the product yet which is unfortunate because it's being shipped from Denver which is an understandable logistic problem. Now we are waiting about a week and a half to receive our mattress and I'll update this review based on the White glove delivery experience but overall first impressions were great and relatable; to add Andy is a dry humor type of guy so you won't have any slick talk from him.
