We had an amazing experience at the Bethesda Mattress Warehouse store, with Nancy & Saim. Nancy excellently explained all the differences between the myriad mattress options. Saim was very transparent about the pricing. We tried out many mattresses and even got a special BedMatch diagnostic for our sleeping styles. It was fantastic they offered hygienic disposable mattress protection sheets so we could try out the different mattresses. We are very happy with our experience at this location.

I needed to exchange the bed I purchased after one month because it was too soft and caused me to wake up with lower back pain. I selected a firmer mattress that also had a cooling feature. It’s perfect! And the delivery was the next day thanks to the very kind salesman.

Sam and Nancy did an excellent job helping me with my purchase my new mattress. Both are very knowledgeable about the products. I did not feel pressured or rushed into the sale; everything was explained clearly upfront to me in a professional manner from the cost of everything to when the mattress would be delivered. On top of that Nancy has great people skills and is very entertaining. She later helped me quickly update the mattress delivery date and find the perfect pillow I was looking for for a long time. Just relocated to Maryland for work and needed to purchase a mattress for my apartment. Initially, I put Googled Mattress Firm and because of the construction on the road I missed my entrance. I was going to make a block and come back to it, but not even a block away I noticed Mattress Warehouse with convenient parking and easy entrance and exit from the street. The sales associate, Nancy I believe was her name, was amazing. She is extremely knowledgeable, professional and courteous. Had a quick chat with Sam over the phone. I needed my mattress changed because my bed frame is bigger than my current mattress. It was a great experience, they cover the mattresses for me to try them and I was able to get the one I liked the most. I get it delivered Tuesday and they take my old mattresses. Updates soon! I usually don't leave reviews but I wanted to share how the team at Mattress Warehouse made what could have been something quite negative into a very positive experience. First, Nancy was truly great in helping us narrow down the type of mattress we wanted. We had no idea what we were looking for but she listened and worked with us till we found something we loved. Nancy made the process extremely easy and pleasant. When the mattress was being delivered there was a mistake somewhere in the labeling and only when we'd made it into our 3rd floor walk up did we realize we had the wrong mattress. We called Mattress Warehouse in a bit of a panic and Sam picked up immediately. He was clear and decisive in getting things straightened out. We were told when we could expect calls, the calls came on time, and we had the correct order the next day. A mattress is a big purchase and moving is taxing. When something goes wrong it can feel like your brain might explode. It made a huge difference to have knowledgable humans who were present, communicated well, and got things solved very quickly. We'll definitely return here the next time we need a mattress!

I had a great experience at Mattress Warehouse today. I spoke with Saim and communicated my needs and price point and he showed me the available options. I was able to comfortably try the mattress, with a hygienic sheet to ensure cleanliness. He explained the different options wonderfully and I was happy with the purchase I made. We had a good experience buying a hybrid mattress for a twin bed. Saim was very helpful and we appreciated his advice. The delivery team was also very helpful. There is one thing that I would change about the experience: scheduling delivery was stressful because it is an automated system and you can't ask any questions until the delivery team is basically at your door. :( it would be helpful to have a chance to talk to someone when the scheduling is being made. Overall we are happy to have purchased the mattress here.

I don’t leave a lot of reviews, but wanted to give a shout-out to Mattress Warehouse in Bethesda. My wife and I really appreciated Nancy’s patient advice and recommendations (e.g. split box springs to make it easier to get upstairs) and no-pressure sales. We found that was a strong contrast to some of the competitors (my offer is no-good after you go out the door!). Two well-rested thumbs up!

Nancy was a delight to work with when purchasing 2 new beds. One for the master bed room and one for the guest room in my new place. Nancy has the customer service skills that every sales business needs. She was informative, offered suggestions but not pushy in her sales approach. Sam and Nancy were great! They helped me right away and got me a great deal on my mattress of $100 off! They take really good precautions for Covid here with sanitizer readily available as well as a clean disposable sheet placed upon the mattress before testing it out. Highly recommend them!!

This is my very first online review, and I'm writing this because I cannot say enough nice things about Nancy or this company -- this is the only way I know to say thank you. I've personally bought 3 high-end mattresses from Nancy over a 15 year span, she's beaten every price in town by $2K. I don't even waste time shopping around anymore. My mother buys from her. She's helped me arrange not only the normal deliveries, but transfers of old mattresses to different addresses through friends and private contractors. Moreover, I've sent friends and boyfriends to her. And one soul I knew going through a divorce didn't just need a mattress, they needed emotional counseling through the whole process lasting the better part of two afternoons. Buying a mattress was a huge symbolic step for this person in the process. Nancy was there for all of it. Thank you, Nancy, for taking care of me and my loved ones.

Saim was helpful choosing a mattress that fit my budget. However the delivery process wasn’t great. I got a call the night before (not ideal) with the time window for the next day which they subsequently missed and showed up an hour later than the 3 hour window. Threw off my entire day and made me late for a work meeting. Working on getting a refund now since I’m not a fan of the mattress.

Visited this store on Tuesday looking for a new mattress. I have not bought one in ~20 years and boy have they changed. Nancy the store manager took care of us. it was the middle of the day so there were a not that many people in the store. We told her what we thought we wanted and walked us through various mattress styles, options, pros & cons...... asking different questions about sleeping style, preferences, soft / firm. We were there for a couple of hours and never was there any pressure. Settled on two to select from. I had to check out other places for price an sanity check ... and I have to tell you the other establishments were like buying a used car. Pressure, inexperienced staff..... I don't blame the other stores or individuals...…. Turns out Mattress Warehouse had the best price anywhere for the mattress we selected. Ordered it on Wednesday and it was delivered on Friday morning w/o hassle. I highly recommend that you visit Nancy at Mattress Warehouse. At least give her an opportunity to secure you business. BTW - I Would have ranked it as a 5 but i never give anyone a five unless they knock me off my feet!

Saim and Nancy were able to work with us to make a deal, despite much back-and-forth. I think In the end we got a win-win deal where they made their money (it’s a business after all) and we got a deal we were satisfied with. Previous reviews mentioned that Nancy was rude, but she’s just a fast talker with no frills. As the son of a small business owner, I knew where she was coming from and wasn’t offended. I would recommend them if you do your research first, come in ready to spar a little bit, don’t get butt hurt easily, AND have realistic expectations.

Wow! My wife and I are relocating overseas and needed to get a bed, fast. We were nervous about shipping inside during a pandemic and laying on beds to test them. Nancy made all our worries go away! She was wonderful, wore a mask, used hand sanitizer, and gave us new and unused protective coverings to lay on when testing the beds. We ended up with a great Tempurpedic mattress with an adjustable base. On top of it, scheduling a convenient delivery was easier than expected. Excellent warranty programs!! Bought an Ergo adjustable frame & iComfort mattress back in 2014. Confession: I spent a lot of time in this bed due to series of health issues. Recwntly realized that the mattress was sagging on the side I spent most of my time in and that the frame'a foot motor had worn out such that the foot kept drifting back down. Once we narrowed down the correct warranty sources, the response was impressive. Ergo honored the frame warranty after instructing me to perform a simple Wall Test, not to mention knew me by my phone number! A week later I had a new foot motor and remote which fortunately my nephew was able to install with only 2 Cotter pins to wrestle with. I only paid a little over $30 for shipping. Then after filing Mattress Warehouse's warranty information claim form online from their website, they got back to me within a few hours on the same day to begin scheduling an inspection. Inspection happened 2 days later on a Wednesday. Report was filed the following Monday. And after a few polite calls to corporate in Frederick by me, I got my warranty approval letter the very next day for an exchange or credit - only 8 days from initial filing. Just ordered my exchange mattress and if I hadn't missed the accounting office closing at 5pm, I'd have it tomorrow! All warranties should be this efficient and trustworthy.

The delivery process is anti-customer. We were promised an email notification the night before delivery, and a phone call when the delivery truck was on its way to our house. We had to arrange delivery twice-because of a separate problem-and the first time, the email was time-stamped about 3AM. What good is that? We couldn't arrange our work schedule ahead of time, and by the time we were able to call the store to find out when the delivery was, it was too late to work part of the day before the delivery, so we lost a day's work. The second delivery, the email "notification" was time-stamped 11:40PM. Better than the first time, but still useless. We did not get a phone call, and since we did not know when the delivery was coming, we were still in bed when the doorbell rang at 7:01 on a Saturday.
