She is funny, patient and never pressured us at any given moment. She also went above and beyond by advising our purchase with her years of experience in the industry. Further she let us know when the best time was to buy within our time frame to get the best deals... which was much appreciated. She respected our decision and was extra accommodating even on days when she was not actually at work when I had questions..... def look for her if you're going to this location.... she rocks!

Vast gratitude goes to Mattress Firm Midtown Tampa and Kelly for completely changing my perspective of the mattress education and shopping process. I know that it is very trendy now to order mattresses from box companies online and then trust the product without trying it (with that online **promise of free return but guess what you pay the shipping and restocking fee so $100-$200 lost on a ‘trial’). I am old school – always went into Bloomingdales or Macy’s to work with a representative for mattresses for my family – I never thought to walk into a Sleepy’s (New Yorkers know what I mean) or a mattress store. I visited Mattress Firm Midtown recently and Kelly spent a great deal of time discussing various qualities and aspects of the mattresses. She focused on my needs and advised me of aspects to consider. She showed me all ranges of mattresses in various price points – nothing was hidden – very forthcoming and she facilitated my lengthy exploration of and ultimate purchase of my complete mattress set. The store is nicely laid out – plenty of room – low pressure – and a lot more pleasant than I anticipated (honestly the mattresses are crammed closer together in the department stores – Mattress Firm space is much larger so beds are spaced out so that customers do not feel pressure to move/shift). In fact, Kelly actually encouraged me to stay on each of my final two selections for a prolonged time. Kelly lives locally and knows the area so folks who live here will enjoy chatting about some of the same favorite local places to go and sports teams to celebrate. If you were trepidatious before about visiting a mattress store, then go to Mattress Firm Midtown Tampa for a very pleasant experience to find out about high-quality mattresses.

From the moment my wife and I entered the store she greeted us with her great smile and was so pleasant to deal with. She was so professional, knowledgeable, friendly, and experienced. She knew the products so well and just knew exactly what to recommend to my wife and I. She explained to us thoroughly about the differences in types of mattresses and brands and helped us make the best decisions for our situation. There was a little issue in which the warehouse forgot to pack a certain part of an adjustable base so I called Samantha that same night right before the store was supposed to close and she stayed over and made sure I was helped and taken care of. I came in close to closing hours and needed a cheap mattress in a box because nothing else would fit in my sedan easily. I’ve never been in a mattress firm before so I was expecting some bargaining and back and forth. Not at all what happened. The salesman heard what my use case was and called up another store because he was fresh out of any mattresses that would fit my need. Honestly, you may think I’m joking... but I’m not. I never thought it could be such a good and honestly transparent and enjoyable experience getting my next and very much so needed mattress. I’m the kind of guy where it’s like this, “okay I don’t want your pitch I just want all the details that make sense and I’ll figure this out” when I buy something. The people and experience this store provides is phenomenal. I wish they sold cars, shoes, insurance, and everything else because my experience with them was 100%. BUY YOUR STUFF FROM NICOLE SHAH at this location. She was awesome. No she’s not my friend, sister, or cousin or something like that like some of these type of reviews are comprised of. She taught me everything I needed to know, agreed with me about the kind of unnecessary fluff stuff within the industry, and was awesome to work with. Disclosure- the warehouse made a mistake and gave me the wrong pillows I ordered. The very next day Nicole fixed their glitch and personally delivered the correct pillows to me. I was floored on such great service and her desire to get me the right stuff I purchased. Go see Nicole. Trust me, it’s worth it to drive to this location and see Nicole even if other stores are closer to you. Don’t take this for granted. If I were mattress firm, give her a raise and get her on a management fasttrack ASAP. Cheers-

Came in the store to find a new mattress. We were immediately greeted by the store manager William. Super nice guy. He was very informative about the mattresses. He asked our preferences and made suggestions based on those. We left and went to home to think over all the options. Came back in the next day and talked with Racheal. We had more questions than the previous day lol. (Mattress purchasing is a big deal!! You gotta make sure you’re getting the perfect bed! ) Racheal asked more questions and made more suggestions. We recently purchased a purple 3 hybrid mattress and just had it delivered today. We will sleep on it for the first time tonight and are going for the best. We worked with Diana remotely over the phone and she was excellent. Very helpful, walked us through a couple different options and really listened to our needs. After having a bad experience with a competitors mattress, it was nice to speak with a person, and someone local. Unfortunately, our mattress was delivered well before our scheduled time frame, roughly 2.5 hrs early which forced me to leave work early, but that was our only negative comment about the whole process. We're hoping for the best with this mattress!

My fiancé and I were new at purchasing mattresses and they made the process absolutely seamless. This was our first time working with Mattress Firm and I have to say that I highly recommend. We came into this store to check out a mattress that our local store did not have on the floor at the time. Trey greeting us instantly and I let him know that we had been working with a different store and was having a hard time deciding. Trey was very friendly and helpful and answered our questions. The fact that we were already working with a different sales associate did not affect the service at all. We ended up settling on a mattress and the entire process was very easy. We did this on a Friday night and had our mattress by Sunday afternoon! After working with two different locations, I have to say the customer service is fantastic. Salesman Tom Schoettle took the time to ask what type of bed I was looking for and then guided me though the entire process, answering any and all my questions. I specifically wanted to try out the Purple bed. He let me try out the various ones until I found a comfortable one (I prefer a firm bed so the Purple 2 suited me). He then proceeded to show me alternatives in that firmness with memory foam and hybrid (foam/coil). I decided which one I liked without any sales pressure. I ended up liking the memory foam one the best. He explained the sales and bonus gifts offered for each as well as the 120-day return policy. Overall, it was a pleasant buying experience.

Went to a major furniture showroom, they're having a sale on mattresses. Had a budget and wanted to stay in that range. The salesman showed me merchandise above that amount. Finally showed me one in budget but was very filmsy. Didn't find anything so I left. Mattress Firm was across the parking lot. Went in, told the gentleman what I wanted and my price range and he showed me several, including one I saw at the other store but it was $700 cheaper at Mattress Firm. I bought one and was very please, even offered next day delivery. The staff was informative and very pleasant. I will recommend them to anyone.

They were very helpful when I told them that a previous mattress from them has broken. Apparently they offer a full 10 year warranty and an online claims process. Hopefully the process works! Update: process didn't work because of staining on the mattress. People were great, warranty is there to make you -feel- like you were covered. Make sure you buy a mattress cover and always have it on your bed.

We recently stopped into the Matress Firm Walters Crossing location to price beds for the whole family. We are relocating from Florida up to Alabama very soon, and weren’t sure if we’d have to wait till we got up there to order mattresses to be shipped to our new home before we arrived. The team members are so pleasant to deal with the moment you walk through their showroom door, and were able to look up the area we are moving to in Alabama to see if they’d be able to deliver anything we purchased down here and the answer was a yes thank god! Eric was the salemans who helped us. He’s not pushy and never tried showing us the most expensive beds on the floor. He knew we were buying three new beds and only showed us great quality beds at fantastic price points. We ended up settling on a King bed and two queens for our kids and he ended up giving us so much for free it was mind blowing. We saved so much money by going to this store. Eric gets to know you and remembers your name. He’s genuinely interested in you as a customer and therefore he’s fantastic at his job. He’s the kind of salesman I love. He’s not pushy and isn’t trying to rob you blind. He takes into consideration your situation and shows you beds that will work for you. He knew we’d be incurring a ton of costs with selling our home and relocating. Just from actually listening to the customer he made sure to find us great deals and three of the most amazing and comfortable beds we’d all ever laid out bodies on. I have told so many people about how courteous and professional he was because some salesman can be so pushy and only care about the sale and not the customer. Eric is friendly and I’d recommended anyone looking for a new mattress go to him. Not only will he make you feel calm and relaxed in his environment but he’ll give you the best deal he can. The people at rooms to go were very upset that we bought our mattresses from Matress Firm rather than buying everything at Rooms to Go. When we told them all we purchased and all that was given to us for the price the salesman at Rooms to Go even said WOW that’s a good deal and I couldn’t have given you that good of a deal here. That’s exactly why we went to Matress Firm because they have better mattresses and better prices.

Eric was not only very informed on the construction differences across the entire product line, he was able to steer me in the direction of a mattress that was actually less expensive than the one I initially thought that I would be purchasing biased on the way that the bed would contour to my body compared to the more expensive one. I am a registered nurse who just relocated this week in St-Pete's from Montreal, Canada, less then a week ago. I got offered a job here in sunny Florida and decided to take it . It is a big ajustement but I am happy about this new venture . This week end the excellent team at Walter Crossing made my day, actually my week, after a crazy week of trying to settle in Florida. I was first greated by a big smile from Kristin who also recently relocated here , she was so helpful , listen and worked with me , understood my needs, presented me with options and helped me narrow it down in spite of the fact that the store had just closed. She stayed over time to help. I promise I would be back to complete the transaction the next day. I did come back to meet the next Nick who remember me and took the time help me close the deal, there were complications since I just relocated here to finance a new foam cooling mattress . Next to Nick was the angel who save the day to help me complete the transaction Eric went way way way out of his way to make my initial payment happen . I was rather baffled by the gesture but so so so ever grateful for the hand that was extended to me. He said that he fell compelled to help to me since I work helping people and that I deserve a bed in my new appartement .... My wife and I have been having back pain with our very firm cheap Ikea matress. We finally decided to buy a quality matress new. We had no clue what we were looking for when we arrived. Tiffany, the store manager, was very friendly and helped us find a matress that would give us the support and comfort we needed. She answered all of our questions and explained all the difference between the construction of the mattresses. We narrowed our choice down to two and she explained the price difference and current offers and we ended up saving over 500$ with the promotion they had. We chose a Beauty rest Black Hybrid. It was the perfect blend of support and comfort for us. Looking forward to it's delivery in a couple days. I was hesitant to go because I hate being pressured to buy, and Tiffany didn't make me feel uncomfortable at all. It was a wonderful experience and I would defenetly do it again. If you come to this location, ask for her. She was fantastic. Someone promote her!
