I had such a phenomenal experience at Mattress Firm in Clayton, MO! I worked with the manager and she got me the most phenomenal king bed set. She helped me work through multiple frame models, 2 twin box springs, and 2 mattresses to get the most perfect configuration for my bedroom. She worked with me over the course of a month, always following through on what she said she would do. She ended up special ordering me a mattress from Dallas, and coached me through every thing from financing, to mattress coils, to mattress covers, to pillows. I was recommended this mattress firm by 2 people and I see why. I will be going back next time I need a bed too!

Mattress selection is quite limited. Many of the "different" mattress brands in stock are made by the same parent company, just at different price points. Mattresses are priced significantly higher than at other showrooms in the area. Generally friendly sales person seemed to have insight into mediocre value on sales floor and kept asking me if I was a "secret shopper." Comfort is personal and subjective, so if you find your "dream" mattress here then hey, no judgement! But if you only have time to shop a limited number of mattress stores in the St. Louis area then you can safely skip the Mattress Firm.

I received excellent customer service from Tyler at the Clayton Mattress Firm location. He assisted me with the purchase of a mattress, box spring, and bed frame over the phone. When I stopped by the store to lay on the mattress, I decided I needed something a bit firmer. He knew just the mattress to recommend and he adjusted the bill accordingly. I was able to get in and out of the store quickly. The store was very clean and masks are required. I highly recommend purchasing a mattress from the Clayton Mattress Firm.

He never tried to push his sales but listen to our needs. When we had issues making payment online, he gladly waited us at the store after the closing time. CUSTOMER SERVICE REVIEW- So I purchased a mattress and after sleeping on it for a while, it just wasn’t the right fit. I went to the website and had the site text me to initiate a return, and no one responded for the rest of the day. The next morning, an employee called me on his day off and helped me get in contact with the right people to get the return going. All of the people I chatted with were absolutely great and ended up getting me next day pick up! Great customer service experience.

I have nothing but praise for Tyler & Tyler (yes, there are two of them). I've been trying to find the 'perfect mattress for me for the last 5 months. After initially purchasing one and having it for a few weeks, I decided to take advantage of their exchange program. I wanted to make sure I got it right. I spent HOURS at their store over the last few weeks, spending a fair amount of time on each potential mattress, asking tons of questions. Finally found one and I cannot wait for it to be delivered. They were SO PATIENT with me. I realize I may be the extreme case, but nonetheless, their service has been par excellence!

Everyone at the store went above and beyond to help me make the right choice.. Once I got my Intellibed mattress I had the impression it was not exactly as good as the one I had tried at the store. I am not sure I was right or wrong about it, but bottom line is Tyler, who was taking care of me, did not try to convince me otherwise. We expected mattress shopping to be a long, stressful experience of gathering information from different stores. Instead, we had a quick and easy experience at our first stop: Mattress Firm Clayton. Unlike online shopping (which we'd already tried), Mattress Firm gave us a chance to test out different mattresses. Ellen walked us through the different areas of the store, which were set up to determine which type of mattress (firm, medium, soft, coil, foam, hybrid, etc) was best for us. We quickly identified what we wanted and were able to have it delivered the next day. Ellen was knowledgeable and friendly, but didn't push us to make decisions or buy items we didn't want/ need. The delivery people were also exceptionally professional. Definitely recommend.

The service, hospitality, and knowledge from Tyler was awesome and great, but the staffing of the store was not enough. Tyler did great at handling the situations of answering phone calls and other customers questions while also helping me with my needs. Overall Tyler was a 5 star, but i gave 4 stars for lack of store support in staffing.

I dealt with Greg Pell at this location and I cant recommend him enough. Hes very knowledgeable about all of his products and very pleasant to work with. He spent a lot of time with us and told us ways to save money on delivery and their products. When we got the mattress/box springs home the combination was too tall for the headboard. I called Greg and he said he could exchange it for free and did all of the paperwork to make it happen.

The location at brentwood blvd and clayton rd was great to deal with today the location 1 mile North on that location on Brentwood blvd was not good at all i went there frist the salesman was not good at all just kept telling me to check around that he would be there til 8pm i have been in sales for 40 years with many awards if i was a district manager i would replace that man with someone else you business at that location would show a big improvement i guarantee that but the salesman at the location i bought from todsy was excellent and a real pleasure to deal with
